I hope I do not offend but whenever I watch a show with Daniel Henney, I find him distracting—not because I find him good-looking but because the poor guy cannot act. I can see why others find him attractive but he doesn’t appeal to me. Maybe it’s just me but I’d much prefer to watch a guy who can act well. If Daniel Henney wasn’t considered good-looking by a lot of people, I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t have gotten to where he is now. He is getting by on his looks alone.
As a plus, he does play sweet and cute characters. He always seems to play the guy who doesn't end up with the girl, though. How unfortunate!
I'm not offended, but don't you think you're being a little harsh? When you made that statement, he was just starting out in his acting career, and when you think about it, he's still relatively inexperienced, especially when compared to other actors. Not to mention the challenges he must face, because he isn't fluent in Korean.
With that said, I think his acting improves with every project he is a part of, and if you watch the movie
My Father you would definitely see that. In that movie he's crying, screaming, and in the midst of an identity crisis! His acting
really surprised me in that movie. After seeing it I can definitely respect him as an actor.
