i am so agree with u, i mean not only her smile is fake, but her face is too square and flat, she have bad skin tone i can see her face looks kinda oily some times in pictures and even on that night, one word she is UGLY.

i thought she was pretty but not outstanding, if you get what i mean. she has good pose and voice, but i'm not sure about the body. it seems unbalanced. but she did do quite well throughout. i think it's because she was consistant throughout the pagent that was why she became a deserved winner.

Another MHK was just over! Nothing impressive once again, the winners look so plain and average *sighs* I actually kinda followed this year's pageant since the beginning so here goes my opinions about it xP

MHK2005 winner is #8 Tracy Ip and can I say... she is SO overrated? She seems to be everyone's favorite and has the most fans in HK out of all contestants. Her official pics might stand out from the rest but besides from her sweet face, she has nothing else special about her, her body is T_T (no comment) First runner up #15 Sharon Luk is alright, she looks really cute when she's not smiling, her smile is probably the biggest disadvantage for her because of her teeth aw! Otherwise, I think she is well-deserved and her acting is not bad at all! =D I dislike #16 Carrie Lam and #13 Cindy Lee therefore I'm not going to comment on them. Carrie got 2nd runner up which is bull for me, but I expected it lol.

The other two awards given out were 'Most Photogenic' (#14 Shermon Tang) and 'International Goodwill' (#7 Natalie Khor). Well I wanted #18 Erica Yuen to win most photogenic, I even expected her to be in top 3! But too bad.. As for 'International Goodwill' #12 Janice Cheung should have won it, her speaking skills was the best.

What u guys think? I don't think any of these MHK will make it big like Ada Choi, Kenix Kwok, Charmaine Sheh, etc. but best of luck to them, hope they won't be another Mandy Cho (she failed horribly in Guts Of Man).. Now I'm looking forward to see Kate Tsui's acting, she's cute xD.

Miss Hong Kong 2005 Beauties Accepts Jewelleries


Miss Hong Kong 2005 Tracy Yip along with winners Sharon Luk, Carrie Lam, Shermon Tang, and Natalie Hui accepted their jewelry prizes at their sponsor, Lukfook Jewellery. After receiving the valuable crown, Tracy says that she will place the crown in a safety deposit box to keep it safe and she will definitely not sell the crown. This Sunday, Tracy will travel to places like Singapore to do goodwill services until the 10th of September, then returning for a charitable party.

Yesterday the newly crowned Miss Hong Kong 2005 Tracy Yip attended the Angelini Italy dining room banquet. Alongside Tracy were the two Mr. Asia winners Chiu Yong and Lam Chi Ho. Both gentleman praises Tracy for being beautiful. They added, "Many of the Hong Kong girls are very beautiful." Tracy was glad to hear the compliments as she commented back. The two Mr. Asia are currently busying with advertisements and they are also practicing Cantonese to improve their skills. Tracy Ip's father is a fireman

This year’s Miss Hong Kong winners, Tracy Ip, Sharon Luk, Carrie Lam and Sherman Tang attended a function on bush fire precautions. During the function, the Miss HKs held up firemen equipment and posed for pictures in front of a fire truck. It is now known that Tracy’s father is a fireman. Tracy hoped that her father could come along to the function but he had to work. Tracy saw a lot of her father’s colleagues at the function.

The media asked Tracy if her father taught her fire precautions. Tracy said her father taught her a lot. Her father had told her to be careful of bushfires, do not carelessly throw cigarette butts or anything that can spark a fire and when seeing a fire spark quickly throw water on it to make it go out. Tracy’s father, is Tracy’s pride. Tracy was then asked if she wanted a fireman boyfriend, Tracy laughed and said that her father was enough.

When Tracy was little, did she think about becoming a firewoman? Tracy said that she did think about becoming one when she was young. But when she grew older, her health was not that good so she let go of the idea to become a firewoman. Tracy was then asked if she could remember any unforgettable moments of her father’s career. Tracy said that 18 years ago, her father and some colleagues ran into a burning building, but one of the colleagues did not come out for a long time after everyone had. So her father and a colleague ran into the building to try and find the missing colleague. The next moment, her father was carrying a person in his arms as he walked out of the building. The missing colleague turned out to be dead. Tracy’s father was very upset about this but Tracy remembers this incident as an unforgettable moment.

I watched the pageant over and over again. Throughout the entire pageant, she didn't really do anything to stand out. So I don't understand how the won the title. I actually wanted #18, Erica to win. She seemed to stand out more and have more decent answers. Tracy is isn't that great in appearance, she doesn't have much of a body...I don't understand why she won. But I agree with Cinseto...I hope she doesn't turn out to be a Mandy...Mandy is soO slutty now and tries to get attention from the bosses of TVB...I'm really looking forward to Kate's series as well.

This year’s Miss Hong Kong, Tracy Ip and Mr Hong Kong, Matthew Ko, were filming a promotional clip for TVB yesterday. Tracy and Matthew wore spy costumes.

Tracy and Matthew said that this is the first time they have held a gun and worked through the night. They bought coffee and snacks to the working grounds to keep themselves awake. Tracy said, “I have never played war games or laser wars. So this is the first time I have ever held onto a gun. I practiced with some remotes at home in preparation for this promotional clip. (Will you do any stunts?) I have to run in stilettos! (Are you interested in working on television series?) I am interested in working on both ancient and modern series. She's alright looking but not that pretty.. it's interesting that she got into Top 15 for Miss World Swim Wear though! That was unexpected. Don't think any miss hong kong has ever ranked that high on that section.

but she has confidence and the way she walks, poses, and presents herself is natural, feminine, and confident. This is what's lacking in most hk girls / contestants. For this year's miss hk, only her and sherman tang exuded the confidence in front of the public eye on stage, on cameras, on tv, etc. All the others were usually tired, nervous, uncomfortable, or trying to show confidence when they're not.

It is said that after Miss Hong Kong Tracy Yip and Don Li were rumored together, they were told to keep their relationship on the low-key. Therefore the only thing they can do is to date at home!

Former model, Tracy was seen with one her of colleagues, Don Li, back in February. Both of them denied dating, but it is said that their love is already rising! Matthew Ko and Tracy Ip Embarrassed at Playing Lovers
Tracy Ip, Stephen Wong (Cheung Hing), Suki Chui, Matthew Ko, Aimee Chan and Lo Chun Shun dressed up in traditional Chinese and Western-style wedding gowns for a Valentines Day promotion for TVB Pay Vision yesterday. To tie in with the loving atmosphere for the festival, the three couples were asked to pair up to share a little kiss. In a little trick played on Tracy and Matthew, they were unpaired with their original partners and forced to share a kiss. Despite there being a plastic sheet between them, Matthew was still very awkward and would only kiss against Tracy's cheek. Aimee would only let Lo Chun Shun kiss the back of her hand and in the end, not one couple were willing to do a mouth-to-mouth kiss. Afterwards, they then shared an arm-in-arm drink and Tracy and Matthew were joked with again, leaving Matthew very red faced and embarrassed.

Tracy has been reported to have split with her rumoured boyfriend Don Li and she will be working at TVB City for Valentines Day, but she does have a small gift in that Don will also be there filming for "Jade Solid Gold". Asked if she was worried about the awkwardness if she bumped into him, she smiles: "If I see him I will be even happier because I have not seen him for a long time. We are friends and the rumours have passed now, there should be some new topics now." She also indicates that she loves wearing wedding gowns because weddings are full of fantasy, so when she saw the reports of Cathy Tsui and Cecilia Cheung's weddings earlier, she felt very happy for them. She does not wish to marry into a rich family though and just hopes that she will have a romantic wedding in the future. For now, she will be concentrating on her career because the fortune teller has said that her destiny has not come yet. She will not date anyone from within the showbiz industry because there will be too much misunderstanding and gossip. Asked if this is to do with her failed relationship with Don, she says it is unrelated and she has never admitted to dating Don.

When Suki was 19, she was invited on a date by a man, who proposed to her with a gift that held a note 'Marry Me'. Of course, she quickly turned him down. As for this year, she will be working on Valentines Day and has not prepared a gift for her boyfriend yet, neither has she received anything yet. After work, she will be having a meal with her family and then returning home to sleep. "The Entire City Dances" In the City
TVB's dancing themed series "The Entire City Dances" filmed a scene earlier in Wanchai's Golden Bauhinia Square that involved the entire cast of the show, including Steven Ma, Bernice Liu, Fala Chen, Tracy Ip, Claire Yiu, Matthew Ko and Mannor Chan. There have been many dancing scenes in this series and this shoot was the grand finale scene that tells of the cast all dancing in their Latin Dance costumes on the waterfront. As it was quite windy in the evening, all the ladies were shivering a little in their thin costumes.

Steven and Bernice have had many dancing scenes and during filming in this one, there was a lot of intimate contact. Steven even had to lift Bernice to do a spin and this took him rather close to her chest. However, they were too absorbed in the dance to notice too much and Steven danced so hard that he nearly fell over and his shoes were damaged, so they had to pause whilst he changed into his own leather shoes.

Afterwards, Bernice and Steven were asked if they had to reach an understanding with each other before filming and Steven indicated that Bernice was a professional dancer, so she understands that close contact is inevitable. Asked if he nearly fell, he immediately said it was quite spooky and he does not understand why something happens every time he dances. He says the heel of his shoe became stuck in the pavement and the sole came apart, making him trip. Fortunately he has a good balance and could continue to hold onto Bernice.

As for Steven getting so close to her chest while dancing, Bernice says he did not and she feels that getting close during dancing is only normal. Asked if she has danced with her rumoured boyfriend (Moses Chan), she says she has never tried this. As for Valentines Day, she says she spent it working and has not received any gifts.

Fala, who filmed her dancing scene opposite partner Stephen Wong Cheung Hing has had plenty of rumours lately, with suggestions that she and Bernice ignore each other on set and then her 'stealing' Bosco Wong and Moses Chan from their respective rumoured girlfriends. Recently, she has been spotted dating a middle-aged man and been labelled as 'Michelle Ye II'.

Filming for the finale scene, the press did notice that Fala and Bernice did not chat to each other in between takes and she preferred to chat with Tracy Ip instead. Asked about being dubbed "Michelle Ye II", Fala says that she is not successful enough to take over from Michelle. As for her continued rumours about her flirting, has she been called in by the executives? Fala says that her flirting abilities are not strong enough and she is not a very 'sweety' girl. She has not been 'interrogated' by the company because they know what she is really like.

Tracy felt the cold whilst filming and she syas that when she was dancing with Steven, he stepped on her foot and she has a bruise on her toe now. She smiles that she is very unlucky to be injured in this very last scene of the show. She also says that this was actually her first dancing scene in the series. Asked if she would like to have a big dance when she gets married in the future, she smiles that even if she does, she will have it indoors and be joined by her friends and family to share this memorable occasion.

Kate Tsui was also in the scene and she says this is one of her few dancing scenes in the show and it is so grand to have everyone taking part. Asked if she is afraid of revealing herself during filming, she says she will not because she has taken all the safety precautions. When the reporters suggested that her outfit was rather conservative, she says: "It is cold and I don't want to become unwell. It is not totally covered up, it is okay!"

Tracy Ip Reaps More Lucky Packets This Year
After several days off over the new year, Tracy Ip was back hosting TVB's E-Buzz again yesterday and on her first day back at work, she was busy greeting colleagues and looking for lucky packets. In just one morning, she had received over ten and she has received fifty or sixty in total over the last few days. Compared to last year, when she only received the one from Sir Run Run Shaw, she has done well this year. Tracy says happily: "My father has a big family and has a lot of brothers and sisters, so if they each give me two, then there is plenty there already. Moreover, my mother also has a lot of relatives, so there are plenty from just my family and friends."

As well as greeting people and receiving lucky packets, Tracy also spent the new year taking her dearest dog out to Tsz Wan Shan for walks in the hill. As there is a romance stone there, has she been there to wish for love? Tracy says: "I did not see the stone, maybe I had turned back before I had reached it. (Are you not afraid of danger going hill walking on your own?) I have my dog with me and he is quite big. There are a lot of joggers and hikers there, so it is quite busy and I am not afraid. Janet Chow and Tracy Ip Promote TVB Oscars Coverage
The Annual Extravaganza that is the Academy Awards will take place next Monday in Los Angeles and TVB Pearl has once again won the sole broadcast rights to the show in Hong Kong. To mark the event, Tracy Ip, Janet Chow, Stephen Wong and Martin Lau took part in a special press event yesterday to promote the coverage and the related competition that is being held.

Janet indicates that she likes watching films and in the past when she was abroad, she would watch three or four movies in a week because she has a friend who works in the cinema, so she often got to watch for free. She says: "I remember in one year's Oscars, I had watched every single film that had been nominated. (How many of this years nominations have you watched?) Of course I have not seen them all, because some have not yet been released in Hong Kong."

Wearing her elegant black dress, Janet revealed that she has put on some weight on her arms and she explains that she had too much to eat over the new year. She smiles: "I had tried to lose some weight intentionally before the new year so that I could indulge myself in new year banquets and cake, so I have put on about 5 lbs, but I am holding back now, so I hope I can return to normal soon."

Tracy also appeared in a sexy black dress with a high split and revealed her rather curvy figure. She smiled when she heard this and said: "If you keep saying that you will make me blush. The dress is from the company and I have worn it once before. Maybe because it was made to measure by the wardrobe mistress, so it suits my figure very well."

Tracy says that she has eaten too much over the new year and she feels that she has put on some weight, even gaining a cup size, but she is not worried about people mistaking her for having breast enhancement because she is working every day and would not have time to go and have it done anyway. Moreover, if she did have a boob job, she would make them bigger! She says: "I feel my figure at the moment is okay and I will not worry too much about it being too thin or too fat, so I will still eat as I wish. (Your waist is still very slim though?) I have always kept it at around 25 or 26 inches, maybe the black dress gives an illusion of it being smaller." As the reporters did not believe her waist measurement, she measured it for them after the show and the result was actually 26 inches after all.

Tracy Ip Has New Rumours Thanks to Sheila Chan
Tracy Ip was an MC yesterday at the Annual Dragon Boat race in Shatin yesterday and was asked about the recent reports suggesting that she had been out for a meal with Sheila Chan, Isabella Kau and a man, who Sheila and Isabella were 'introducing' to her [for favours]. Sheila had suggested afterwards that someone had tipped off the press about the meeting and that Tracy would not be attending anything similar again in the future, maybe hinting that it was Tracy who had tipped off the press. Asked abou this, Tracy said: "I do not think she is saying I tipped off the press and I did not. Anyway, this is very bad press and no-one wants this kind of news." Asked how the reporters found out about the meeting, Tracy said: "Maybe it was because I had been to a public event beforehand and then they followed me afterwards. I did not know about them at all." Tracy Ip is Prepared to Donate Kidney to Mother

Tracy Ip Met at Airport by Mother
Tracy Ip returned to Hong Kong from Shanghai on Wednesday and despite her illness, Mama Ip was at the airport to meet her daughter. Tracy did not discuss her mother's condition, but her mother seemed to be in good spirits. Tracy says that she did urge her mother not to come to the airport, but since she was young, her parents have always come to meet her whenever she returned from a long journey, so this was no exception.

TVB's new series, "The Entire City Dances" 《舞動全城》will be broadcast on Monday, September 10th, following the finale of "Fathers and Sons." Cast members, Bernice Liu, Steven Ma, Fala Chen, Tracy Ip, Matthew Ko, Wu Fung etc. appeared at a promotional event for the series yesterday.

The normally sexy Fala Chen was dressed conservatively. On the other hand, Tracy Ip wore a low cut dress, drawing the press' attention.

Tavia, Ron & Tracy Sweat while Modelling Jackets

Tavia Yeung, Ron Ng and Tracy Ip were yesterday modelling jackets in bustling Causeway Bay. The three, who all wore thick winter jackets, were all sweating due to the hot weather but were still able to attract a huge crowd. Tavia and Ron had especially attracted a lot of the fans, while embarrassingly, Tracy did not have any fans supporting her during the event.

Tavia commented, “Thankfully I am only modelling a vest! This is why I should be sweating less than the others. This is quite fun actually, I wouldn’t mind modelling fur jackets in summer either. (Do you want to try modelling swimwear?) It depends on the circumstances. But if the pay is good, I would definitely do it.”

Ron then revealed that he is a heavy sweater. So it no wonder that he sweat so much as he modelled the jacket.

In regards to having no fans at the event, Tracy expressed that it does not matter but she hopes to be able to have more fans in the future.

I think that she is so sweet to give one of her kidney to her mother. But I think she is pretty liike her in The Whole City is dancing. She and Matthew are seen together in advertising many times.
