WOW so many people have such great imagination/logic in what they are saying abou MD and QE. it is nice to read all of these. MD and QE are so cute together.
i'm not being protective of MD, but i think QE fans shd take the concert as a performance and not as a personal attack on MD. That scene was planned beforehand, even QE mentioned in a taiwan article. but she doesn't know where MD will kissed her,but if any1 watched WZBQW, will know why he is likely going to kiss. and it was not a forced kiss, it was just touching her lips. it is not as if MD kissed her off screen or behind the stage. please differentiate between a performance and real kiss. (you gals will know how the tw media like to exaggerate in the wording in their headlines...)
And i think MD doesn't need that to promote himself......he is very popular during the concert. He is the only one who has a big bouquet of flowers(abt 100stalks,that's what a tw fan told me)and he has alot of fans taking banners with his names on it too. When he goes up to the audiences, you can see people rushing to shake hands with him too.

Not many ppl in this forum have been personal attacking MD.. But I still think it was disrespectful and irresponsible of MD to just kiss QE. The only part planned beforehand was that he might kiss QE and he didn't tell her when and where. Don't you think considering that QE might have a bf already, he just kissing her like that ON THE LIPS is slightly disrespectful? With no warning and everything? If its going to be a performance, what harmed would it have brought informing QE beforehand where he would kiss her instead of springing it up on her on stage?
But that doesn't matter anymore now I guess.

Hm, seemed like the kiss has two sides to it. Some say its good, some say its bad. I guess we should just take it as part of their jobs? Or maybe theres jealousy involved or whatever, but we will never know because that is their lives, and we are all so far away from it. *sigh*

Eh!? *blinks* I agree with vicki2707; I didn't really think anybody was attacking MD... and I also think he could have considered QE a bit more before springing the kiss on her (as much as we all liked it). I mean, I don't think he meant to be disrespectful or anything-- and as long as Sun Zhong and QE's boyfriend are both understanding, I don't think there's been any harm done. However, if it were meant to be a performance (the first night), I think that part of it was in "springing one" on QE; it's possible; after all, MD is known for his playful/prank-pulling personality. Otherwise, if it were "company-approved"/QE-approved, he definitely could have told her where/when he was going to kiss her.

Unless the drama was somewhere on the cheek but he planted it on the lips, then i would considered that disrespect to QE..

have you seen other artistes concert, their guest stars also just do even worst scenarios but if anyone can take the concert performance as a job, then there won't be people thinking that MD was being unreasonable. What they did was re-enactment of a scene in the drama, i do not know what is so disrespectful of? and moreover QE bf did ask if that was part of her job and she said yes.
QE should also be prepared since she knows they are re-enacting out the scene. in the drama, SJH also did it out of sudden, so at the concert, what MD did was nothing wrong.(when QE knows that he will be doing it, just that she doesn't know where-which i think is quite lame, because in the drama it is so obvious where he kissed..if you know what i mean).

It's not necessarily disrespectful but knowing QE had a BF which I'm sure MD does, he should be considerate enough to tell QE when and where he was going to kiss her even if QE knew when, she didn't know where and it caused a scene because she didn't expect it (The crying and all during the first concert- or so I've heard) It's not anyone's *fault* because it's considered a good thing and I agree that it is a performance but to do an act with two artistes, they both need to know what's going on, which at first QE had no idea.
And yes she did say it was part of her job because it was a performance as you said but she was unprepared for it when it did in fact happen which I doubt she expected even if she knew *when*, and as you also said her *BF* did NOT know about the said performance (The fact that he asked about it proves he didn't know about it, QE probably thought it was a joke when she heard about it, would you take someone seriously if they told you they were going to kiss you and not tell you anything else?) which could cause some problems in QE and her Bf's relationship so it was not disrespectful but somewhat inconsiderate of MD to kiss QE unexpectedly.
i'm really confused about ming dao and qiao en, some forums say there together, some say qiao en has a boyfriend so does anyone know for shure sinces its really weird going from one thing to another to find out the truth.

The scene wasn't planned, at least, according to all those news reports it wasn't. And QE was surprised by the kiss wasn't she? In the drama, there were kisses on the forehead and all that too, or on the hand, they were all very romantic scenes that the audience liked and how would QE be able to predict where MD would kiss her? MD was quoted saying in articles that QE probably thought he would kiss her on the cheeks or something, so its not that easy to predict that there will be a kiss on the lips lor. And I doubt she even knew they were going to reenact a WZBQW scene.
When QE's bf asked, if she doesn't say its a job, what else can she say? And in the end, it is all a job, just whether she knew about it beforehand.
Personally, I haven't seen much concerts with surprise scenarios like this. So I don't know what you mean by worse scenerios, usually guests who perform are all given due respect since the artiste had to specially invite them and all.
And I won't say this was a bad scenerio, as an audience, I love seeing MD and QE kissing on stage, but its just that its inconsiderate the way MD did it.

"Should I do? Wait-no, I shouldn't. I should--no, I shouldn't--I need to respect Qiao En. Forget, I'm gonna go for it; I don't want to miss this opportunity." So he went for it. He kiss her using "it's only for the fans" as an excuse to get off the real reason as to why he did--FEELINGS for Qiao En.
As for Sun Zhong's remark..he's just covering up because he doesn't allow his artiste to date. How can kissing someone in front of the world (okay I'm exaggerating on this but you know what I mean)?
Kissing is something intimate between two person who like each other. I'm pretty sure Ming dao have some feelings deep down but can't act on it.Flirting? You flirt when you like someone not to play trick...That's ridiculous...Such nonsense..There's no such thing!

Qiao En hasn't said anything yet to confirm it nor is there news about this 'aussie' dude so cross your figure....

Here's what I think of Ming dao and Qiao En....
I'm pretty sure there are some feelings between them two but maybe because of circumstances that they can't act on those feelings like the forbidden dating between artiste.
Qiao En probably did have lots of feelings for Ming dao but because of his ignorant and being "Mr. Cocky--flirty" Qiao En probably feel that nothing would ever happened between her and Ming dao so it's better off if she just stop. Even more so, with what Ming dao said when he went on that talk show and said those stuff--of course it's gonna get to Qiao En. She's probably mad at him, I would be if it was someone who I like or connected with and said all that. It would make me feel so awful about myself and I would be hurt...Who wouldn't?
They had no contact with each other until the collaborations of "Prince who turned into a frog" that's what started the whole Ming dao and Qiao En. Protraying their characters with so much chemistry made many fans adore them with that in reality, all the promotions they had to do for the series-- there was chemistry between Junhao and TianYu as well as Qiao En and Ming dao...(Vic and Barbie, for example, they see each other as brother/sister, then boom--madly in love with one another).
I'm pretty sure Ming dao have feelings for Qiao En but with the restrictions of the company and wanting to take one step up the ladder for his career he had no choice but to say the things he said towards Qiao En. I sure he knows Qiao En is going to see it but what can he do. He's probably praying that Qiao En won't get mad. (Okay, I'm exagerrating again)
Like you've said, "Qiao En's mad at him and start to ignore him" Ming dao knows it and start to realize that this is his chance to change it.
How can he be playing a trick on Qiao En by doing something like that so public knowing it's being film? It's something mean and stupid which I honestly don't believe Ming dao would do something like that intentionally unless he wants to.
EDIT: First of all, Ming dao is only human although he's a celebrity he has feelings and impulses just like Eveyone else. He's gonna do what he want to do or how he want to do it. He's not gonna just kiss Qiao En in front of billions and billions of people just to please the fans. No, I don't buy that at all. I know there's more to it than mets the eye. There's something else that we don't know except for Ming dao. He doesn't look like the type to just kiss someone for the heck of it or to please them.
Qiao En is the sensative type. She's full of love and life but with strong intuition and the right of mind. She isn't going to stand and wait for someone who isn't going to give her the bennifit of doubt so of course she's gonna move on maybe that's where that so called "assuie guy" comes along. Nor is she going to just let someone liplock her in front of thousands and thousands of fans who obiviously want the two pairing together. It doesn't matter if it is Ming dao or some other celebrities-she wouldn't let them kiss her. Qiao En has much to respect for herself to let that happen.
There's more to it than we know. When Ming dao kiss her she could've stop it or turned away except she didn't, right? Qiao En kiss him back---which only means something? Qiao En was fine with it. She was probably anticipating on the kiss as well as he was. Either way it's a win-win situation for us fans.
The way I see it; Ming dao and Qiao En are just like that of their characters Junhao and TianYu. They're both stubborn and won't commit to their feelings for one another and yet they're both doing all these flirtatous things to each other-mainly Ming dao but you know what I'm saying.
I thought that the second kiss the next night wasn't accomodating because it's rehearse. It's another saying that "we have to cover up with what happened last night" which I thought was ridiculous.
I mean if they'd had to add another kiss to the concert because of what Ming dao did the night before--doesn't that signify something?
Think about it? Why rehearse another kiss and add another couple? Unless something else is going on. Why go through so much trouble to hide the envitable? If it was simply just Ming dao being Ming dao then that could have easily been dealt with the night of the first kiss but they had to add another kiss and another couple to cover up the first one.
Of course the only reason is because that's celebrity's way of hiding the truth like someone mention it above earlier. Celebrities don't like to talk about their personal lives so they would have to go through much trouble to hide the true facts. But the thing is that we have smart paparrazzi and they have a way of finding out the truth though they tend bend the truth a little bit and exaggerate on it but one way or another we'll find out.
So in the meantime, all we can do is hope that good things will be the outcome of this whole situation. Keep praying MingEn fans, you'll get your wish. If I got mine on VicBie, you will, too. It doesn't matter if there is restrictions or obstacles, when you're in love nothing else matter in the world except for you and him.

Man! It kinda sucks being late comer, I missed so much news about MD and QE. After watching WZBQW a couple of months ago, I didn't watch any offscreen news/show clips involving MD and QE. However, they make such a perfect couple onscreen and I love them in WZBQW!! Then, after watching AQMFS, it led me to watch other 183 Club clips, many of which had 7F in them too. Then I came upon this thread, and read most of the posts in this thread (many of which I share similar thoughts/feelings with ^^) , so now I'm up to date with what's been happening. The offscreen interactions between MD and QE are just so cute, making me wish that they are really together! News that QE has a BF is heartbreaking though, but I hope they're just dating and will break up soon (I know it's a mean thing to say but I'm just MingEn crazy at the moment). I really believe there is a lot of potential in MingEn lian. I get a sense of "ai mei" between MD and QE. There just has to be feelings between them and it doesn't seem like they're acting. Hope they become like a VicBie.

Correct me if I'm wrong...but I think I've read in the earlier post that after the 'kissing incident' on the 1st nite, MD did say he would want to thank someone for allowing him to act with QE, so that he can see how beautiful she is

qiaoen visits 183club on their rehearsal. she brought soup for them to drink. when she go in, mingdao and shaowei notice her liao. haha.
i thk there's some part missing. qiaoen suddenly say 'i feed him can le' then mingdao lean forward for her to feed. she asked him is it nice and he said 'not bad' he even had one more sip of the soup. shaowei ask her abt the songs they'll sing, she replied correctly. but she's not too sure on the song 'call my name 3 times'. mingdao noticed her hesitation and lied to her it's 'call my name 5 times'. they even sing the edited one. she's so blur, nearly believe them lor. LOL. so funny...

if it is incosiderate of MD not to tell QE beforehand where he is going to kiss, couldn't QE take the initiative to ask either? if QE is really so worried about his bf reaction and knowing that there is this scene, then that question of where should be on her mind and she should have asked instead.
if you choose to read & believe what other newspapers had said or did not mention, i can't help no matter how much we explained what we read in taiwan. Even friends who are not MD fans also felt there is nothing wrong with that performance and MD.
Lastly if what MD did to QE is disrespectful, then what Xiao Qiao did to Shao Wei will be considered disrespectful too(even though Shao Wei is a guy, it is considered incosiderate of XQ to do it too..sorry to bring in XQ & SW, but i just want to know why there are double standard in fans thinking....irregardless of gender)......(if any of the taiwan articles you gals have read reported on it too....)

i agree with you about pple being bias with the whole gender thing, and that the whole thing is just business and performance so we should just leave it as that. whatever else is behind the kiss lets MD and QE deals with it. it is their personal lives.

wow, i'm surprise ppl still debating abt the kissing scence in the concert. I guess diffenet ppl have different view. Anyway, I still support MD and Qiao En. But now, I agree with some of you guys, I prefer MD and Qiao En not to do any drama of movie in the future. the clip of QE feeding MD, I think it was from 183 Club concert's behind the scenes shown in WQYL SZDJ last sunday. I thought it was really funny how QE was so blur and actually believed MD and the rest for a moment that Bi Shang Yan Mo Nian 3 Bian was acually 5 Bian. She sang that song for so many times and she still almost got tricked haha..

After watching Wang Zi Bian Qing Wa, I fell completely in love with these two. They make a GREAT couple and they really do seem close in reality. let's hope they are! and i saw this picture when MingDao was about to kiss her like.. on some tv show while they were singing or a concert or something.. but Qiao En pushed him away!! there's definitely something going on!

I'm watching Frog Prince right now, and I absolutely LOVE Ming Dao and Qiao En!!!! I've never like Taiwanese dramas before now, thinking they're draggy and long. I've never been more wrong on this. The couple have soo much chemistry and look sooo cute together. I also saw some offscreen clips of them, and those are just the best!!! They look so comfortable, holding hands, pretending to kiss. Sooo cute! I heard somewhere that they're close friends in real life, so hope that's true!
I was chat with another avid mingen fan, and she asked me why sun zhong don't wan to let them pair up in dramas for at least 2 yrs. and i thought of the reasons on the spot. haha. how do you all think of it? i jus paste my thoughts here... don't bash me up...

I agree with all your points... I think they're making pretty good decisions (although AQMFS is too similar to WZBQW, in my opinion... the feel of it, the music, all the actors, etc.). For example, MD isn't going to be the male lead in Angel Lover (or another rich man, for that matter), and QE's drama with SW isn't an SET drama. I think it will give them a chance to expand their acting abilities and maybe dabble in something that isn't so idol-y (although I love those, 
)Besides, I imagine there would even be some "comparisons" between their dramas with each other. For example, if anybody else remembers the Vicki-Alec pairing, everybody compared them in HZGG to themselves in Lao Fang You Xi. It would be scary, I think, to "do it again," considering WZBQW was so successful. Although it sometimes pays off (Vic-Barbie in Mars after MG), I'm sure there's a lot of pressure... what if the fans still remember JH-TY clearly and are disappointed in the new drama?
So, yeah... I love MD-QE, and I think two years is a long time to wait
, but I think it will be worth it in the end.

When did Sun Zhong ever said had to wait two years? I know there was one article that was a joke that mentioned the two years thing, so did you mistook that article for real? Cuz from what I know, there's no 2 years restriction, but I guess the two of them have to be paired up with others and all that so that's why they aren't given another drama together.
SETTV seldom re-pair couples anyway. I think Xie Zhi and Yan Yan were the only couples re-paired before? So if we want to see a MD and QE pairing, it will probably be in another company's drama too.

i think qe and weiru are the best singers among 7F. but actually, all of them get quite an equal opportunity to be main singers, unlike in other groups, where its quite imbalance, usually only 2 person is the alternate main singers. like 5566 is xie zhi and ren fu, 183 is jacky and yu rong lor
wqyl yesterday showed the 183 club concert behind the scene + some concert snipets
there was a slightly longer clip of the md qe kiss, like they showed the before the kiss conversation and everything lor. its still the 18th's though, leaving ppl like me really curious about what was it actually like on the 17th, afterall, that's when the surprise element was really there.
I really want to see the whole concert, does anyone know where i can download the whole thing or does no one have it?
