I wonder why everybody is still so hung up on that kiss, it has been a month ago. If you guys really like them then support what they are currently up to and maybe when the time comes again, you'll see them together again. You can currently see MD and 183club in alot of promotions since they have their own album coming up and u can watch QE on her shows and await for her new series. I personally think it has been a long time since i saw MD cuz he was filming so many new dramas before and couldn't make it to many promotions with 183. Also, did u guys see thier new mv call one umbrella i guess. It's a really pretty mv so check it out. rps is a shao wei-qiao en drama, there's no way they will pull ming dao into it lor for promotion or anything related. its not even a settv drama either so there's a huge possibility that we won't see them going on wqyl to promote the drama, they did allow ai shang qian jing mei mei cast to go wqyl but i dunno if they will allow it again for rocks papers scissors. but really, don't think ming dao will be dragged into the promotion of rps or anyhting.

the next chance of qe-md interaction is probably going to be the hk concert next year lor. jungiery's doing summer promotion event where the different groups will meet the fans around taiwan during the summer on different weekends but they have separated 7F and 183 Club for it. And on the day where all the groups come together, they left 183 Club out.

and there has been so much hype with MD & QE that in fact jstars can't date would be best for them to do their own thing right now instead of always being together and what not. it kinda sucks for us because we haven't seen them together as much but its normal for them to pursue their careers rather than doing every show and song together.

as much as we would love to see them together all the time, they have other things going for them and as fans we should support their individual careers. and if they do do something together, that's just even better.

so whether they are together or not, they are still a great pair and we anticipate anything that's MD & QE related :-)

Honestly, before, I was not this avid to any celebrity. But after watching PTF, I began to search news about this lovely couple. This got me hooked in this thread. Since I'm from the Philippines, only through this forum I can get news about them. MingEn chemistry is remarkable.

I totally agree with you. I love the two of them together, and either if it is right or wrong about the kiss it doesn't matter anymore b/c it is over and many of the fans are happy with it so let just leave it as something memorable. As many have said, for them being together will take time, that if they can be togther but we can all still hope for it. Also i don't think MD is the type that would kiss QE just to hype up the fans, b/c the way he looks at her shows that he really has feeling for her. as people have said the eye is the window to one soul. and we can see in MD eyes his affection for QE. With the looks he gives to her i don't think it is for any sort of promotion or to hype up his fans and make him more famous. as a girl i would love to see a guy look at me like the way MD looks at QE. it is very...loving. i would faint if it was me . I only translated from the part where Ming Dao started to answer Xian Ge's question about the concert that night, which starts at around 5:19 or something? I don't remember the timing. Anyway, I kept in some of Ming Dao's sort of... word stumbles? To me, it seemed as though he had already come up with an explanation, but was having rather a hard time expressing himself.

MD: No, no, no... see, that part of the show... okay, our company (Jungiery or Sanlih)... we're all actors and actresses, you know, and we've also released a number of soundtracks, and that song was also on our soundtrack. So then the company wanted us to perform a short scene from our drama as an introduction to the songs. But then I said... I said I thought that the segment was too long. In comparison with the rest of the program, this segment was too long and a little draggy. So then I thought of a way...

Okay, so look, "7F is on stage!" "Yeah, 7F!" And then everyone will feel very "high," right? But then if, by the second song, it's still just 7F, then the mood has become dampened a little... it's cooled off. So then, for the second song, "183Club! Singing together with 7F!" Then we get to the third song... it's already the third song, and it's still 183Club singing together with 7F, and so the excitement tapers off again.

So now the concert looks like this (at this point, he uses his finger to indicate a sine wave): 7F, 183Club, and then the third song is sort of flat. Why? Because we need to wind down and let 7F leave the stage...

So all our fans, of WZBQW and of our music alike, are familiar with a very memorable part of the WZBQW script: "Ye TianYu, I want to teach you the difference between a kiss and CPR."

Xian Ge: Oh... so it was all for exciting the audience? You weren't merely overcome with passion and lust?

MD: No, no... I don't have lust for her! But I knew that, if I said those lines, the audience would become very "high"... because it's a really special line that everybody remembers.

Xian Ge: QiaoEn (he calls her QiaoQiao because they used to host together) told me afterwards that she really wanted to smack you right then and there.

MD: Well, that's because, in the beginning, I really didn't want her to know what I was planning (referring to the scene).

Xian Ge: You know, it wasn't just your lips... there was barely any room between your bodies!

MD: No, no; there was, too! I really didn't want anyone to know about the segment I was planning. I'm a BIG fan of Ming Dao & Qiao En after watching WZBQW. I love their on-screen chemistry as well their cute off-screen romance.

Although, I have to said that I think Ming Dao does have a strange complex/confusing state of mind. One minute he would have us believing that he has feelings --- deep feelings for Qiao En then the next, he always said something mean about her. I was watching a clip (I believe it is from Happy Sunday or something) where Ming Dao was ranking the 7F girls and choosing who he likes among them. Not only did he ranked Qiao En last but he also added comments. And now in the Ai Shang interview, he said "I don't have feel lust for her!.." and called her "a big airhead" (--Thanks to tammiest for the translation... hope you don't mind I posted here) Erm... okay... why does this sound like "my god, I don't have feelings for her BUT I just can't stay away from her..." I don't get it why does he have to get the fans "high" when most of them have probably already "HIGH" on the chemistry after watching them in WZBQW?

I do hope that Ming Dao only said this to diverge media attention though it is unfair to Qiao En. I haven't found any clips where Qiao En was saying anything mean to Ming Dao so I'm alittle unhappy and want to do this to Ming Dao (even if HE is becoming one of the favorite!!!)

*sweatdrops* Sorry for the confusion in the translation... when he says "airhead" or "da sha jie," it isn't as mean as it sounds in English. In Chinese, it's more like ... teasing her, but in an affectionate way. Plus, with the "jie" tacked on to the end, there's a bit of respect there as well. It's kind of like if he were like, "she's so silly." There's actually a lot of phrases in Chinese that are "teasing, but affectionate," but lose their meaning when translated to English.

But yeah, I've seen that interview where he says QE is the least attractive member of 7F. I believe we discussed it earlier as well. And actually, I can't imagine that any actor would admit on national TV that he feels lust for an actress! The thing is, Xian Ge (the host) really put it in a crude way. It wasn't as though he asked, "Are you attracted to her?" or "Do you like her?"... answering yes to "lusting after her" would be

Honestly, all the 7F members are beautiful and physically, QE is the least beautiful (but still beautiful). But ofcourse QE's loveliness is no ordinary. And adding her other attributes, such as talent in singing, acting and being a true person, makes her stands-out.

If you will observe MD's gestures and eyes (MOST ESPECIALLY), they tell differently from what is coming from his mouth/lips. They say that lips/tongue can lie but sometimes the eyes can give a person away.

Ming Dao and Qiao En really match as a couple in WZBQW and when 183Club and 7Flowers are collaborating with each other. To tell you the truth, I feel that Ming Dao does a really good job in acting that he matches with almost all his female co-star. I love Ming Dao with Qiao Qiao in AQMFS and also RuiRui in XPGLY. He also match very well with Cyndi in TGDJY even though he did not get the girl at the end.

Yes MD can match with any other girl so as QE, she can match with any guys. However, there's a big difference when you're talking about "PERFECT CHEMISTRY". And I think that's what MD & QE have.

i don't know why.....i feel that ming dao and qiao en are so compatible.....ming dao is cute and sweet man....while qiao en is cute(even she is not the type of classically beauty) and energetic....and they fit their role to the fullest in 'the prince turn into the frog'....till i think it's the best series of drama that i've ever watch...even i heard that there's the media complaining QE is not so beautiful...but then her cute face with big eyes and energetic style actually make her the perfect partner for JH/DO....i can't think anyone else better than her..

Well I have actually been lurking around for a long time now..but I finally joined because of Prince turn into a Frog drama..

and I have to say I LOVE MINGEN!!!...I don't care if some folks say there not together or if press is saying that there not together...
In my own little world they are...lol..I just finished watching the drama series..
I live in America and we don't get it so I got it from online...well anyways I love the drama series and MD and QE..rocked in all of there scenes..
There chemsitry was just amazing..
then I surfed youtube and found a bunch of clips of them performing and I notice that they are always paired together they are always in there own little world..

So I'll use that as my proof that even though many denial that they are together you may never know...

Company says not allow to date but there's always a thing of keeping it on the down low making sure it's hush hush...

Ming Dao and Qiao En got A LOT of attention as MingEn after the prince movie specially from the fans, and the media. And since they can't date, I doubt that the Jungeiry will take a risk like that. But I truly do hope that they will act together again. Their chemistry felt so real

I don't know where you can find the subs for it (sorry!) and I think it's available with the new WZBQW OST, but now the actual series and VCDs. Anyways, yes, you pretty much got the gist of it. Basically, on their 'last day' together (before DO would go back to San Jun Hao's home), DO was planning on going to a store and pawning his watch to get TY an engagement ring. The notebook was kinda like a confessional-diary kinda book. But unlike the "Hao Ai Ta, Hao Shang Ta" video, TY doesn't find the notebook.

In the Happy Sunday episode where MD was asked to vote the most attractive 7F member, he said he finds someone with good figure the most attractive. He said QE has very good figure, but she doesn't show off like some pretty gals - he also said he find this not-showing-off attitude very rare.

I interpret that as he
(1) admires QE's personality and
(2) although QE doesn't score high by the normal standard for attractiveness, he finds her attractive.

Yea! When I first watched WZBQW, I didn't think QiaoEn was very pretty. But then I saw more pictures of her after the drama series finished, and her hair got long again and yea, I think she looks much prettier now. But ok, so as to not sound so superficial, I don't think QE is the conventional kind of pretty, but she's a terrific actress, and she's so cute! so I grew to really like her..

Alrighty, I've gone off topic long enough...I LOVE MingEn!! I'm a total fan of the two!! At first, I didn't really see why people were such a crazy fans of the pairing. Don't get me wrong, I mean, I had seen WZBQW and I really liked it, but I just felt that the two acted as a couple IN the drama, and that that was it. But then I saw Ai Shang Qian Jin Mei Mei where QiaoEn was with Jason Hsu, and then Ai Qing Mo Fa Shi where MingDao was with Qiao Qiao, and I still think that the chemistry between MD and QE was by far the best. In addition, WZBQW is (finally) airing where I live now, and so I'm watching it all over again, and I'm seeing even more the great chemistry the two have with each other. But just like plenty of people have said before me, it's just too bad they aren't (and can't be) a couple in real life....

i agree. i think we all agree that we just need to look at MD's eyes and it says it all. and by viewing the interactions between MD & QE during that time, the attraction is undeniably. actions do speak louder than words =)



i really don't care much about what he said about the kiss anymore. its kind of a given of the response that him and QE would say about it.



i think so too. actually, all of the members of 183 look really tired due to all the promotions and hectic scheduling of late. as for QE, she's super busy too. like the pictures from RPS.. the first one where her hair is down and wearing white with jeans.. she looks kind of tired or out of it.. just not as happy and excited as we've seen her in pictures. MD & QE are just busy right now promoting and doing all these things. its good though because their careers are doing well. as for us as fans, we'll just be patient and wait for any 183club/7flowers stuff and hopefully for more MDQE!

I don't think people should give up hope of a MingEn couple since I waited and waited and WAITED for Vic Zhou and Barbie Xu to get together (call it an intuition), and now they're together. So anything's possible.

With the current scenario wherein SW & QE are now being paired in RPS. SZ will not take any chances of collaboration between MD & QE because it might affect the promotion.

MD & QE's pairings with others are ok. However, considering the reception of fans for the pairing of MD & QE it will guarantee an incomparable profit. Maybe some other businessmen will think about the best profit but I don't know Jungiery.

Well anyway, I hope that MD & QE will be together in REAL life.

i second that... i just love this couple and i sort of get piss off that they are couple with other people. .. but it's okey i guess since no one can beat their chemistry and spark on and off screen....hehehe
I hope that after they finish all their other projects, they will have another series together....wishing....hoping....*sigh* tooo bad that Jstar cant date each other in real life...but they can do it in secret. .. you never know hehehe
