he has good chemistry with either, so i cant really say which one he looks better with. x)

blah blah blah blah.. you said it was better bcoz you don't like QE at all.. you watch AQMFS bcoz of MD. so it does not make a difference in which female lead it is... but when you view it professionally, QE difinitely is better.

actually WZBQW oso did not hav a very good plot like wat most of you tink. for me, its just a noemal plot. always the same twist and turn. came across enuf. but the spark that QE noes how to brings with the male artist really made me stop and watch. even the small lil part where QE had acted with Yu Rong, i even thot that are they 'gng beyond tat'? so.. not many ppl can bring this to my mind. had not really watch other series b4 and aft PTF.

Yes, I agree! QQ acting to me is so fake and vein. It's like she is trying so hard to duplicate QE. Her crying in AQMFS is definite fake, she had no emotion what so ever. QE IS THE BEST.

no need for us to break out in a QQ and QE battle. everyone has their own idol or favorites and that's cool. let's respect the person and the fans. this is a MDQE thread so let's keep it that way. those who like MD and QQ can go and express all their thoughts and feelings there.

MD is a great actor and can act with any actress. so let's respect his female co-stars. we all have our opinions but we don't need to put down others for it.

U can dislike QQ, but there's no need to post about it here. I dunno why there's the tendency that ppl who like QE dislikes QQ and aka the other way round. If you really want to criticise, there's always the crtics hangout available for you to open a thread and criticise her all you want
While we might all think MD and QE are the best pairing, its good to keep an open mind on other actress MD acts with or actors QE acts with and not just keep putting them down.
I don't understand why somehow, no one has problems with QE acting with SW/XZ but so many ppl have problem with MD acting with another girl

Actually, QE only older than MD by 10mths ++ I think. MD born in Feb 1980 then QE in April 1979.
p.s QE's born in 1979 not 1978, dreamstar should change that wrong information. And there's nothing wrong with girl being older than the boy lar, i think its just a thing that we have always been taught with since young that makes lots of ppl think that guys should date female younger than them and females should date males older then them and not vice versa

The relationship between MD and QE is questionable. I really want to see them in promoting FP again, cuz I heard they're going to promote it in China.

wow i haven't visit this web for a while and it grew. i agree with you guys that they should not be dissing or bashing other actress in this thread. i hate battle, but it is not only in here, some people also do it in MD and QQ thread too. it is really annoying. I just said enjoy what we can have and what they offer to us as actor and actress, and keep our hope that maybe one day they will end up together.

Yes, comparisons should be kept to a clean and LOGICAL minimum (in BOTH threads). Real criticisms can be expressed in the QQ-QE thread... although still cleanly and respectfully. Or... better yet, somebody could just start a thread in Critics Hangout.

Yup, QE won't be going China to promote WZBQW. As usual, it will only be 183 Club. There's been a news report or actually, quite a few saying that 183 Club's going China in September
No surprises there actually isn't it? It happened in HK, what made everyone think that they will be so nice to include the girls who put in as much effort or even more in WZBQW into the trip to rise their fame?
Its not the first time and definitely won't be the last time 183 Club are given all the credit for WZBQW's success lor.
They left QE and the rest of 7F out for the promotion trip to HK, Singapore and now even China. And the only 4 places they went overseas to promote WZBQW was HK, Singapore, China and Phillipines.
If you ask me, they probably only included QE and XQ in the trip to philippines due to QE's huge popularity there. She got really famous after 100% Senorita and MVP and she was the 1st taiwanese(or maybe just chinese) actress to act in their local production. So, comparing how they left her out in other overseas promotion, I believe the reason they included her during the trip to philippines was more to ensure that there will be a large fan base awaiting 183 Club when they arrive, cuz QE's popularity there will already ensure a great no of fans awaiting her. Ok, that's just what I think. But after all this, I really think there's a huge possiblity that that was the only reason she got included in the WZBQW promotion in philippine

Yeah.. So for those hoping for MD/QE sweet and touching actions, looks and so on in China, don't expect it cuz QE isn't going.
Lots of MD/QE fans and QE fans have been requesting for QE to go to China along with 183 CLub too but so far, its a failure.
Awaiting is the only thing all of us can do right now I guess. Maybe one day, MD and QE will spring a Vic and Barbie on us.

THat SZ really isn't letting QE go. She is the main girl in this damn series. Gosh, should have let her go. It can't happen twice because she didn't went on the HK one. This is really annoying. It's so weird, usually production would love to LOVE PROMOTE the main couple in the series but SZ is weird.

I really detest Sun Zhong for treating Qiao En so ermm... badly. And I really hope Qiao En can quit Jungiery and find a better company that respects her more. And Qiao En contributed alot to Prince Turns Frog's success, since she already had quite a large fanbase even before she filmed PTF while Ming Dao only acted in HWG.

Yeah, seems like he is leaving out even the seniors and the ones who brought the most fame and riches to Jstars, 5566, and right now all the spotlight is at 183 CLUB and Ming Dao. (But at least SW is in 183 CLUB )

Anyways, I agree 100% with you, the fact that Sun Zhong only cares about money really makes me angry, he should consider promoting all his bands and artistes instead of focusing or as *sotong* called it favouring on one band, that's called OVER EXPOSURE.

i thk sun xhong has a bit of prob with his management of artistes...i thk he shd employ a few managers to help him manage the artistes. if not the artistes are not going to get equal (at least better than now) opportunities of performing.
we long know tt he doesn't favour gers... because the mkt in taiwan is that male artistes are MUCH popular and mktable than gers. so his pov is acceptable. it's jus tt he got a female artiste who has the potential to break this rule, and he never capitalise on it. what a one-way-thker. I don't know why there aren't any rumours of MingEn because their gestures toward each other are quite intimate and obvious. And I thought when it comes to these things, reporters would be the first to report them or something.

And I think the possible reasons are most likely Sun Zhong stopping the reporters because of he is trying to maintain his company's rule or the reporters are not that observant

Anyway I agree that maybe SZ doesnt like rumours going on with his artistes. Maybe you all have heard in the new series that Qiao En is acting the female actress that is rumoured to be Shao Wei gf is kick out of the series. What's wrong with SZ??

It is kind of weird that QE and MD doesnt have any news from the papparazzi. Is it there's nothing going on between them outside? Or did SZ really warned the papparazzi not to publish any of their foundings??

I watched both WZBQW and AQMFS, and yepps, personally feel that the mingen chemistry was more convincing.

If any of you actually watched AQMFS, there's this episode where qiaoqiao got lost after she got trapped in the shed and there's this moving scene where she finally reappears after their frantic searching, and then mingdao went forward to give her a hug.
If you look closer, you guys will be able to see that he looked as if he wanted to get the scene over and done with, and his attention isn't fixed on qiaoqiao during that scene.
As opposed to the many similar scenes he had with qiaoen in WZBQW, in which his affection can really be felt, this scene in AQMFS really made me think twice about wad yasi felt about xiaobei.

it does get kind of hopeless after awhile of no news or no findings.. but its a battle worth fighting for! even if MDQE never get together in real life, its okay because they have a lot of fond memories together and they sure left an imprint in our hearts. and if they do ever get together.. we can say that we supported them all the way and we are even better than the paparazzis. haha.

QE not really slim down I think. It depends on the angle photos are taken in. Sometimes her face looks a bit bloated. But I think that's just the angle the filming is done in anyway. If you watch her XNDZC, I don't think she got slim down much...

Haha, MD put ON weight, then lost some, but he hasn't yet reached his "WZBQW" weight again. As for QE, I'm not sure she's thinner than she was in WZBQW, but she IS skinnier than she was in 100% Senorita and old variety shows. Her legs are amazing now, whereas before MZ and co. would tease her about them.

JCQE, I guess you're referring to the lack of "media/paparazzi" attention to MD and QE when you say liking them is an uphill battle... but just look at this thread and the MingEn Bar! I think there are a lot of people with you on this. Plus, even if people aren't "for" this couple in reality, I think a lot of people WERE convinced by their pairing in WZBQW So don't despair! I, too, am always amazed at your news and clips, so please keep 'em coming if you can.

qiaoen actually calls him 唐唐 on the show. it is the guy who went to mxqb and i said keep wanting to get close to her de. haha. they were just friends lah. but quite close perhaps.(he's quite gd-looking )

he's the 1st artiste who manage to tie with the contestant... haha. not bad.

Wahhh...I don't get SZ at all why can't he have more pairing up of MD and QE. I mean other director knows how to make a profit by having more Mike He and Rainy Yang pairing up, and even Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin. I mean these 3 couples are loved by many fans, but i only see those two couples getting pair up, but no more MD and QE. That is so sad. If SZ really likes money than he should be smart enough to know that having MD and QE pair up with make great profit and satisfy all of their fans. Hoping that SZ will realize this soon and let them pair up again... i really miss them. If not, I hope other producers/directors see MD and QE amazing chemistry and have MD and QE pairing up in their new series. Crossing my figure

Its not even like SET doesn't "redo" pairings, SXZ and Yan Yan paired up in both Westside and Mr Fighting lor and they weren't even that popular I think.
It would be great if MD can pair with QE again soon, especially for a drama outside SET

i was rewatching things of MD and QE last night and man oh man my love for this couple grows and comfirm more that both have feelings for each other. I ws watching the clip of the concert where MD was looking at QE and it was mesmerizing, and then i was watching other clips of them on varities shows and see the eye contact from both, and QE eyeing to MD is no less from the way he was looking at her. It was like everything went dark, and everyone around them disappear and it is only them left...that is in QE eyes there is only MD and vise versa. It was so cute. i can watch those clips over and over again.

i think that when any of us are just waiting for new news or getting hopeless, we can always rely on these old clips and pictures to give us that warm tingly feeling inside again.

if joe/ariel and mike/rainie are filiming together again... we are hopeful of another MDQE series. it'll be awhile but it'll be worth the wait. i can already imagine the cute scenes and just how amazing they'll be together.

I agree with everyone that the three most popular couples are acting together again but MD and QE. it's not fair and i think that SZ has something to do with this. i think that he knows that mingen will make alot of money for him if he puts them together but i bet that he is scared that mingen relationship will blossom and then nothing can stop them. I am going off-topic I think SZ is the reason to why there is so little MingEn collabration >_< Most probably he wants to concentrate on Ming Dao, giving him that much drama serials to act and maybe using Ming Dao's fame to help those less well-known in Jstars by collabrating in a drama serial, as Qiao En is already popular enough. And she can gain more fanbase by her own self and talents (I'm being biased )

I think everything have to do with SZ. I doubt any director/produce wouldn't want MingEn after the success of FP. Come on the highest rating idol drama. I just think everything really depend on SZ. He say that there will be a chance in the future for MingEn to collaborate but no it's been almost a year.

MDQQ's Chemistry was not as strong as Mingen's one.. maybe because.. QQ is too young.. but nvm.. she still has more time.. to improve.. while QE has lesser and lesser time in the entertainment world.. unless there is another contract waiting for her.. if not.. in a few years more.. she is gone ahh.. i don't want to see her gone.. but if she really doesn't want to continue and stay in the entertainment world.. i shall respect her own decision..

being a celebrity isn't easy at all.. you get critisised by people.. and on another side you get praised by people.. you can't be a perfect person.. becos.. some ppl don't like you while some ppl love you.. so this is... THE WORLD.. full of suffer, laughter, sadness, Happiness.. and all kinds of emotion..
being a celebrity also can't have a good rest.. really.. even if they have some flu or cough.. you cannot take a single leave... ( from GGBBM when qe and xq went to promote WZBQW ) they said unless you have fever.. they can't take leave.. dat is so.. cruel.. when they are really busy with the company's stuff.. when they are filming.. usually it gets to real late and den when u reach home they only have a few hours to sleep or even minutes.. and they have to wake up and get back to work...

Oh.. im so sorry... =P cos i choose the wrong colour. it was supposed to be darker blue, sth like darker tone of baby blue... haha...

MAYBE, in the later half of the year of 2007? or 2008? i think, most probably would be in year 2007 or, in 2008 bah.. if not, i dunno when there's gonna be a chance le?! lol... but no matter what. all of us here also know the Great chemistry they hv de.... if there is mingEn collaboration again, i'll GO CRAZY lo.. im sure hyper for days de...lol
