Gallen did a superbbbbbbbbb job too!!!! he sort of made the unrealistic character, Ivan, look so real..luv luv Ivan..tho' he made some dumb sacrifices...which made me wanna smash the tv...
Basically, everyone did a great great job in GF...four thumbs up for this show..hahaha..

I'm up to ep 30 atm... Oscar's stupidness is really annoying... applause goes to my beloved Ray for portraying the immature, spoilt rich boy's temper and arrogance. I know what ends up happening to Oscar, but I hope he seriously realises his mistakes and that he doesn't screw up everything for the company, and all his father and Gallen's efforts... what a stupid little boy... So many times I wanna jump up and slap some sense into him!

I love love love love LOVE this series SO much!! It's one of my all-time faves! Gallen and Jessica have amazing chemistry in here. Comparable to Louis and Jessica. The only person I didn't like was Deric. I think I would've liked him better without the hair. And didn't really like Tavia's character either.

I saw this series in viet, and Myolie seemed really really annoying, but I saw a couple clips with her in Canto, and she was amazing! I can't wait until TVB releases this series on VCD! I will definitely get it (even tho I won't understand a word ).

It was a little draggy near the end tho. I usually only watch the first half, because it concentrates more on Gallen and Jessica.

I liked how they resolved the Jessica-Gallen-Anne love triangle. I wish they could've done that for DIF4! (You guys notice that it's pretty much the same problem? i.e. the guy loves Jessica, but feels obligated to Anne. I'm SO glad Gallen chose Jessica over Anne. I would've thot that TVB was purposely setting Jessica's characters up for disaster. lol.)

in my view, this series is pretty good, overall. i love Jess's character....espcially when she was pair up with Deric....

but i also love Gallen ....however, i think his character"Ivan" is quite stupid....he broke up with Rachel for Sabrina.....yuck! i hate her since she played in DIF4!

Ray's character, i hate him very much....but in the other hand, i think his performance is very excellent....he can make me trust that he is an evil!!!!!

so, i wanna see this series again and again.....

hate factors:

don't like tavia and raymond 's character they were so annoying! tavia's voice really aggravated me.. i only began to like her in viligant force.. raymond plays a pathetic character.. so naive and rather trusts someone who he isn't even close with over his brother who he has a really strong relationship!

michelle's acting..hated her character!! the character she plays was supposed to be a bright, and strong character.. she totally messed up the character's image.. all i saw from her character was a clueless , stupid, and unemotional character! totally dragged other actors and actresses down!

one more thing.. was really disappointed that jessica didnt win the my favorite actress award of the year!! instead flora got it!!! even ada choi did a better job in lok sun!!! but im glad that gallen got it for year he really deserved the award

I love this series. Jessica and Gollen are my favourite couple and my beloved actress is Jessica too. She is so smart in this series.

Golden Faith is one of my all time favs along with DIF4. This drama really stirred some emotions. It made me cry buckets, made me upset, and there were scenes that were very heart warming. The scene that really got me was the scene were Jessica and Gallen officially break things off after the court case. That was so heart breaking. Any scene with the two of them were great.

However, I thought the cast was way too big. The drama could have been a lot shorter. I didn't care for the other characters like Raymond, Tavia, Myolie, Michelle, etc. The only characters I cared about were Jessica and Gallen's.

like yew.. this is also my ALL TIME FAVE series.. I cried soo much in this series. There were so many touching scene. Eps with Jessica and Gallen. One of my fave scenes where them 2gether in australia for the 2nd time.. Eating and drinkin wine 2gether and watchin the stars above. Another scene I really loved was the part with Tavia finding out that she was pregnant.. and her bro found out that she still talked to ray... she was crying wen she found out the "real" person that ray was.. that was such an awesome scene.. i can never get enough of this series.. great series.. totaly thumbs up for this one..

when I first watched this series, I was so captivated by it, blown away by the story line and everything - hahaha:)

I have to say I hated Oscar with all my heart for his stupidity and I suppose that's what makes good scriptwriting and acting included

Favourite scene of this series was when Deric drove to Raymonds house and Tavia found out that Raymond had been lying and been using her. She ran through the streets and started crying madly. Lol I was nearly in tears too!

Very good acting from Gallen, and I liked him pairing up with Jessica's they make quite a good couple.

I really didn't like Raymond's charactor I found him so stupid, but nevertheless he did a good job on who he was acting.

I just finished watching Golden Faith, it is SOO GREAT...One of the best TVB series out there. I can't believe I missed it when my mom watched it when it first came out...Everybody's performances were top-notched here. I especially liked the end when Ivan finally could put love as his number one priority and he was trying so hard to woo Rachel...Gallen was so funny there trying answer all those questions...hehe...

Somebody said that Tavia overacted in the scene when she found out the type of person Ray was, but I have to disagree. If I had just heard those hurtful words, I too would run into oncoming traffic, bawling like there was no tomorrow...that was a great performance on Tavia's part...I hate her hair though...

i watched this series last month, and i luved it to bits gallen and jessica make such a great pair in it.
At times i wanted to smack oscar on the head and make him open his eyes and realise that his uncle was bad. Gosh he was so stupid. But i'm glad he finally realised that gallen was good in the end.

I saw this series awhile back. Overall, I liked the series cause Jessica and Gallen were a great couple! =D However, Gallen was soo "perfect" sometimes that it bothered me (eg: good brother, son, except for the illegal stuff part). Can we really find someone like that? Haha.

Golden Faith, is one of my favourite tv-series. It is really funny to see how Ivan and Rachel break up and make up each time. And at the begin of the serie a already have the feeling that Ivan and Rachel would be together. Thank God it happened

I really liked this series too.. But like any other serie it had its flaws.. Especially the ending... so.. urgh! Seriously, TVB can do way better than that... Having Deric shoot Gallen because he had amnesia.... well... I'm speechless! *shakes head*
And having Sabrina (Guo Hi Fu - Anne Heung) come out of nowhere at the last epsiodes was very unappropriate.. (well I personally thought so). I think they should have just left her out.. And they way Gallen wins Jessica's love back was too easy... It could have been better.. Overall.. Still a good series.. Sometimes non-realistic.. The way Raymond turns bad sooo fast. I thought it was too sudden.. It makes him look so dumb and stupid because he listens to everything his uncle tells him.. U can't clap with one hand and be able to hear it, HELLO! For Sunny Chan in ATE.. It took him 50 epsiodes.. But his reason to becoming a villain was more appropriate, and he still had some sense in him (he still loved Knenix). But Raymond.. urgh! He even called his own sister stupid! He overreacted a little too much!! I just really hated this character.. Instead, I felt myself falling for Ivan's (Gallen's) character.. although non-existent in reality, but I couldn't help but feel so much for him.. I honestly cried after seeing what he went through.. I thought he was too stupid as well.. He was too honest sometimes.. *sigh* I wish my future bf was like this... lol
Overall.. It is a great series.. Draggy at times, but typical for a TVB series.. On a scale out of 10 I'd rate it a 6.5/7. Watch it if u have nothing to do (if u haven't seem it already). P.S. The themesong is soooo nice (sung by Gallen). It brings out the mood of the series.. The tune is so... GREAT! haha. The two subtheme were also sang by Gallen himself.. They were ok. I personally think Gallen is a great singer..

I found it! It's in episode 18, about 3/4 of the way into the episode. I can't believe you guys even picked up on that. Her entire screentime probably totals 10 seconds and you can barely see her face the entire time! Mad props to you guys. lol. Anyway, that part was after the crown ordeal. One of the cops had been bribed to let the crown's theives in during the exhibition so they had to arrest him.
