i personally think that fiona sit cannot act at all. she is emotionless and her voice is soo high pitched when she talks. i think she is better off in singing.

i agreed.. she definitely cannot act ... no emotion, the way she speak, she act just like a person who memorised the whole script..... can't not stand her...

Agree....She just can't really act....Fiona needs more practice. I think it's about average of all new actor/ess coming into the entertainment circle these days. Only a few can act good...others...humm...no question. Another example is Mandy Cho (sorry fans). I really think she is just memorizing and reading off her lines, put a bit of exaggrating emotions and there. Agree with her voice too...it's so high, hate girls that have those squeeky high pitch voice, they're like those people who always need someone at their sides. errhh...

i think she shuld just stick with singing but she is still very young and she has lots of time to improve

i thought she was very stiff...i guess first timer in a series..but disappointing though...her short hair emphasises her long neck too..not very flattering...

Personally, i don't fink fiona's acting is consistent. At times it's good but at times it's bad. Overall, quite moderate, not that outstanding.

Fiona is ok at acting but i think she shouldn't act anymore since she wasn't that good in the academy.

I think Fiona's acting was ok, wasn't great though. I think she wasn't helped by the nature of her character though, having to play an attention seeking rich girl. But overall she did an ok job.

i think she's not a good actor... she can't express her emotions good enough... but on the other hand... she is new.. so i think that could be one of the reason for her actor skills nowx...

Fiona was annoying in her role in The Academy.

Her voice was so annoying and ending almost every line with "mah".

I didn't know who she was before this serie and when I found out she was a singer I was afraid to listen to her music. But I gave it a shot because she is highly praised by listeners, and I'm glad that her singing voice sounds nothing like her speaking voice. Although I don't like her music, she has a much nicer singing voice than speaking voice.

I really didn't think she portrayed her wealthy spoiled brat turned rebelious turned unspoiled very well. Whether she was spoiled, rebelious, or unspoiled she had the same facial expression -- the sad scrunched up face. There was not evil spoiled brat face, there was not powerful I don't care face, there was no I'm a normal person now face anywhere.

fiona didn't do as bad in this series to me. the first few episodes of her was crap. she gradually grew a bit better towards the end. at least her crying scenes weren't too fake. it's her first time being in a series too.. so i wouldn't expect too much from her. lets see her in the future with more roles..she might improve then.

her acting in academy is not really good ... she acts like a small little gal with her voice and look ... i don't really like the way she speaks ... maybe she have to improve her cantonese

Comparing to every actors in the series, I think she is the worse actor. But comparing to other new actors, she is not bad. She just have to train the way she talks, which is not too realistic.

Well considering that she only entered into the industry about a year and a bit ago and its her first time series she's ok i think her good looks and cuteness saved her this time. The person that casted her as a rich girl knew her acting wouldn't be that great and casted her as a rich girl because she's only good at winging.

I've just finished watching RDOV and i think it was also Ella- (The person that plays Happy) first time acting and she was probably just ok or a little bit below average, they casted her as a tomboy but atleast she was funny.

Like all of you said...she is young and she has time to improve on her skills....but I think she should just keep to singing first.

i disliked her so badly in the academy, i was expecting bad acting so it didn't bother me that much, i already knew she was a singer. but what made me dislike her was the fact she reminded me of Twins.

acting all cute and stuff. god! grow up! she's not a little ten year old and yet she protrayed herself as one. just like twins. sugar coated cuteness really annoys me.

IMO, Fiona's acting was good for her first series. Though, there's always room for improvements, right?? I know that a whole loadz of peepz couldn't stand her...but I think it was her character that they couldn't bare to watch. But I can't wait to see her in other series!!

But i think Michael Miu's performance was the best out of the cast. Fiona Sit took a while to get used to. she was really annoying in the beginning. i think Fiona Sit's acting will only be limited to playing the role of a rich snobby girl. she played a rich girl in "2 Young", yet again in "The Academy". her next film role? i bet she is going to be a rich girl...again...
