she's my FAVORITE HK singer and actress!!! her acting was so natural in Needing You and her chemistry with Andy Lau in that movie was great. i know her concert in hong kong is coming up soon. if i was in hong kong, i would have definately bought a ticket to see her live in concert. i have the vcd of her last concert, "shocking pink live" and it was awesome. her outfits are always so "shocking" and unique. every song she sings, she sings with emotion and strength.

(7/26/2004) Sammi Cheng Sau Man two nights ago performed the third show of her Hong Kong Coliseum concert. The police discovered that someone has purchased tickets with a fake credit card and got a statement from the suspect for further investigation. Due to the high level of confidentiality, not only did Sammi have no idea, even viewers could not detect any police action.

Two nights ago the show was star stunned. Guest Juno Mak Chun Lung asked Sammi for an autograph for label mate Yan Ng Yat Yin. Sammi remembered to invite a male fan on stage and forgot to introduce guest Candy Lo Hau Yam. Her crew needed to "remind" her. Also, Sammi invited Bobo Chan Man Woon and Miriam Yeung Chin Wa on stage, thus shattering the rumors that she and Chin Wa were at odds. Sammi even brought up Bobo and Chin Wa's rumored boyfriends Edison Chan Koon Hei and Ronald Cheng Chung Kei.

Sammi's concert tour, did not feature ex-boyfriend, Andy Hui, but last night, rumoured boyfirned Jerry Yan flew all the way from Taiwan to support her. She was not only wearing a pink spaghetti strap dress, looking very sexy but also held Jerry's hand to walk and sing, even claiming that he is very good looking.

Jerry entered the stadium in a very low key fashion but was still spotted and created chaos. When he went onstage with a cake, the atmosphere reached a climax. Jerry helped Sammi to celebrate an early birthday. When he whispered something into her ear, was laughing non-stop and said to Jerry: "You are very good looking, lucky I'm strong, otherwise, I would be 'electricuted' by you!"

Sammi's 6th concert in the Sammi vs Sammi concert run saw guest stars Shine, MC Yan of LMF and Edison Chen performing alongside permanent guests Hocc and Teresa Carpio. Both Shine and Edison were very nervous about performing on stage with their idol, with Edison sweating profusely.

When Shine first made their appearance, they expressed that they were very scared about making the guest performance. Sammi then asked \"You mean I'm so fierce?\" Tsui Tin Yau then toldthe audience that the song that they sang was dedicated to Sammi, and it was called \"Simple yet Grand\". The meaning of the song is that when you meat someone you like, don't wait for so long and quickly marry him.

As for Edison, he said he suffers from a fear of the Coliseum. After he did a duet with Sammi, Sammi asked him if he was more calm then, but Edison said he was still very scared and wanted to leave as soon as possible. The two of them called each other Handsome and Pretty, and Sammi told Edison that his disc was selling very well. Edison told her that it definitely didn't sell as well as hers, and he bought one of her albums while she didn't buy his. Sammi retorted that there was no need to because Edison gave her a complimentary copy! AFter that, Sammi gave him a peck on the cheek, only to find out that Edison's face was so sweaty that she kissed his sweat!

One of the fans invited on to stage to sing a duet with Sammi was a man who came down specially from Guangzhou to watch the concert and he requested to sing the song \"Do you really have me in your heart\". ALthough that song is a \"forbidden song\" in SAmmi's list, she gave in and sang it with him!

In other news, Takungpao reports that Andy Hui turned up on the final night of the concert, but did not guest perform.

Yeah, the Sammi vs Sammi CD is well good. I would highly recommend to anyone, not just SAmmi fans. I love the Faye Wong song called "Dor dut ta" (in canto).

u shd buy le .. the songs r nice .... and then in the album there is a booklet of pictures .... over 80 ++ pages booklet .... she is so sexy in the pictures ....

i'd definitely recommend u to buy her latest cover album. she sings really well, better than before. she sang all the songs with different styles and shown improvement. i really like it although the songs are other people's songs. u wont regret buying the cd. there's a 80 page pictorial book too.

Yeah its highly recommended to watch the series. Defintely worthwhile watching since it has Sammi, Louis Koo and Jessica Hsuan.

I went to the second show in HK. Compared to her past concerts this one was probably average. But I think the last show is always going to the best one to watch. I thought the big hello kitty that Sammi was sitting in was beautiful. Also the best part of the concert was the mini musical she did with HOCC. Even though I went to watch one of the shows I'm still going to get it on VCD! Does anyone know when the Sammi vs Sammi concert VCD will be released??

Yes!! Muz buy! Its relly v. refreshing listening to her 'kou shui ge'. I felt not all ppl r able to 're-sing' old songs beta then its original. But Sammi just did it! Poster oso nice! V. special! 2 sided 1... Cool..

i have been to her concert in Australia and have found that she has ok talent...but i think she danced quite a lot...i would have liked her to sing more slow songs though...

Sammi Cheng's Role in YESTERDAY ONCE MORE, Sunday October 3, 2004 Hong Kong

Sammi Cheng Sau Man in the film YESTERDAY ONCE MORE (LUNG FUNG DAU) plays a thief who aside from cars, clothing and jewelry also enjoys billiard and yoga.

Although Sammi does not practice yoga on a regular basis, she was able to perform the yoga moves that director Johnnie To Kei Fung asked. She said that may have to do with her dancing. Before each time she would spend 15 to 20 minutes on warm up exercises. Thus when she tried the yoga moves balance was eaiser to find.
As for billiard, Sammi has never attempted the sport and during the shoot she needed the director's instruction before accurately shooting the balls into the pockets.

sammi's one of my fav singers and actress too...i love her songs and movies, but i'm finding the quality of her movies to go down....not that the actors/actress's skills are bad..but the plots of the movies are very weak, which then makes the movie crappy....

hopefully her upcoming new movie (yesterday once more) will be better, because it's been awhile for a good sammi movie as her last 3 (love for all seasons, good times bed times, and magical kitchen) were only on average.

(10/6/2004) In the film YESTERDAY ONCE MORE (LUNG FUNG DAU) Andy Lau Tak Wa and Sammi Cheng Sau Man's characters live high class lives. The red wine and cigars used in the film are priceless brands from renown location.

As everyone knows, Sammi has always had asthma and rarely touched red wine and cigar. The production team after careful consideration used the cameras to adjust in hopes of her old ailment remains dormant. Sammi however declined like a professional and said that using the cameras would only reduce the audience's experience in the film. Sammi decided to try them personally and "smoked" like the real deal.

However, Sammi was still a first timer and was not used to smoking cigar. When she blew out smoke she could not stop coughing. Because director Johnnie To Kei Fung was an avid cigar smoker, she immediately asked him for tips. Sammi learned right away and smoked like a big boss in the film.

i think sammi is so talented, ive been a fan of for soo long, she was so different from the other female stars back then, she had her own style,but i have notice that shes change quite a bit in her attitude to fame, she use to have a laugh at any comments bout her life and andy hui nowadays its "no comment", and wen she was in shows she was so jolly and playful and team up wiv other stars to do a performance......i still think shes fab though

sammi's new movie (yesterday once more) will open in singapore on 21st oct!!!! yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! anyone knows when it will open in johor, malaysia? i hate to watch hong kong movies in the weirdly dubbed mandarin versions in singapore cinemas.

SAmmi cheng is one of the best of the best. She sings good, is pretty, and an actress...She was in the movie love on a diet. I wish i had her voice.

I love Sammi too!!! Been a big fan of her for the past 8 yrs~ Was lucky enough to go back to HK to catch her latest concert this summer! It was awesome~ I think her singing has improved in this concert.....her live singing sounds even better than before....bet it's because she's learning from Teresa Caprio now.

Hey guys, I saw in yesasia's website that Sammi's summer concert in HK (Sammi vs Sammi 2004) will be released on live CD on the 19th October. Although I'm not sure when the VCD/DVD will be out but I'm guessing next month. It is recommended to anyone that missed the concert to listen to the stunning performance of Sammi's singing. Also there are many hits that are not to be missed! Can't wait for it to be released!

OMG.. That medley was wicked! I loved it at the concert and can't stop listening to it on the live CD. Can't wait to see the whole concert again on VCD especially the medley part.

The answer to your question is to actually buy the CD. You will definitely find the lyrics on the CD. All SAmmi fans support Sammi and buy the original CD rather than d/l.

Yeah, its most likely they will release the concert on VCD/DVD. I'm not sure when they will release it but guessing December so hopefully soon cos I can't wait any longer! hehe! Hopefully they release the whole of the concert rather than cut out loadsa parts like the CD had. Also, funny that the concert CD did not credit HOCC for appearing in the medley.

The song HOCC performed should be called 再見露絲瑪莉 in chinese or Goodbye Rosemary in english. But I'm not sure if it's the song you are looking for cos she sung this song when I was at the 2nd show of the concert in HK. Which show did you watch?

Sammi rocks! Fantastic singing voice, beautiful, great body, fantastic actress. First movie I saw her in was Feel 100% (great movie, go see it). Last movie I saw her in was... *thinks* Good Times Bed Times (funny as hell).

Sammi does it all, sings (Mandarin, Cantonese, English), acts, performs (I've seen vids of her in concert and she goes all out ala Elva Hsiao). She's a one woman show
