Park Han-byul is often called "eol-jjang" on the Internet, which means "the girl with the prettiest face." She started her acting career by playing "Mi-ae" on the soap opera, "Hangangsu Blues." The Junior Herald was fortunate to catch up with the busy Han-byul and chatted about her dreams and future.
The Junior Herald (JH): For those who don`t know you well, can you describe yourself in one sentence?
Park Han-byul (Park): I am a girl who has a strong passion for acting. And I would like to add one more thing (laughs): I love junk food! I can`t live without tteokbokki!
JH: For the first time in your career, you¡¯ve had opportunities to work with veteran actors and actresses. What was that like?
Park: Yes, I often worked with young actors before. So, when I collaborated with experienced actors, it was a difficult transition at first. But I feel like my acting has improved greatly because the seasoned actors taught me a lot. I want to thank them all!
JH: How are you different from "Mi-ae," the soap-opera character you play?
Park: Even though I play her character, I still haven`t figured her out yet. For instance, she immediately developed a deep crush on a boy when they first met. They even decide to live together before marriage. For me, I don¡¯t believe in love at first sight. I need time to get to know a person before I fall in love with him.
JH: Do you personally check feedbacks from your fans on your Internet site?
Park: Of course, I do. At first, I didn`t look forward to what others might say about me. But now, I am more accepting of their comments. I even try to learn from them.
JH: What makes you sad?
Park: I always try my best in everything I do. But people often say the only way I got those parts on television programs was through luck. You know, I don`t like it when people criticize without thinking first.
JH: Are there any particular roles you want to play in the future?
Park: I don`t know why people like to think that I`m picky and stuck-up. So, I want to take on roles that show my true self - even if it means imitating a monkey.

I first saw her at a Double A paper advertisement clip. I thought she was a Japanese model until I managed to google up for her information. Didn't know she act in movie too.

o my...she is gorgeous...i just discovered her by looking up "byul" the artist of that song in Full House. But actually i saw her Double-A commercial awhile ago without knowing who she was. and i thought then she was breathtaking.
She does look a lot like JJH but a little prettier. JJH kinda has a double-chin thing going on.

She's so photogenic and absolutley gorgeous. I think she had eye surgery done though, that double eyelid thing, but she looks great. She lost some weight too.
I'll try to find some pics of her and Se7en. I saw some before.
