i don't kno why TVB let them playing Couple, i think they just doens't match at all, from the outlook to the character, they just look and make me feel like they are brother and sister. thre is no sprinkles between them...

it was a weird match. and the chemistry is kinda off. it's also their roles too. all weird. i think they tried to lengthen the series by making myolie so annoying in the end and misunderstood joe ma like that. geez.

I think so too, Joe does seem a little too old for myolie! But then again, I'm not sure about their real ages!

i never liked Joe Ma. I don't know how on earth did he become one of the nominees for last year's tvb anniversary male lead. he's too serious and of course he don't have the looks either.

joe ma is not bad...just myolie. i think she is rather too small for him...huh...how they can be the couple? i prefer annie to be her lover in the series...

funny, i beg to differ. i actually enjoyed watching myolie and joe as a couple in the series. i find them an attractive couple, and the chemistry between them is great. maybe it's just me, but i feel myolie has great chemistry with all her co-workers.

Yup I agree too, Myolie is in so much series so I guess TVB doesn't want to partner her up with the same actors all the time (ron, raymond, bosco), but she definitely looks more like a sister.

i think joe and myolie look like a cute couple....he has to b older than her because he is her "see foo"....myolie has been pairing up wif lots of older male actors for a lot of series so its no but shock to see her another one again.

Joe Ma is a bit mature looking, but i don't think that should be a problem.. I didn't think they look so bad together. I t was ok, just not the greatest...

I agree that they don't match but Myolie's acting made it some convincing that I actually think they look alright together. But please don't match them together again in another series.

Myolie should be matched with someone younger. I don't understand why the people in these series don't match anymore. They are trying to match younger people with older ones and it just doesn't look right.

Of offense but i don't think height really matters if you really like each other...I have seen a lot of couples that have a really difference in height...like sometimes the guy is one head shorter than the girl or the other way around.

But in this series, i do agree that Joe and Myolie don't have much chemistry. They spend more time hating each other (well, Myolie hating Joe more) then actually in love. There isn't much screen time for the two to develop their romance...and the ending was quite rushed....

joe ma totally does NOT match myolie...totally not...shes so short...joe looks so serious and tall...and they just dont have the match...

i actually liked watching these two as a couple at least it showed that she can at with all different age people and i thought that this was a good series.

Very very bad pairing....no chemistry whatsoever !! Joe Ma can only act interested only when he IS interested in his acting partner . I dont know who was mis-cast but the pairing just dont go.

I have to agree...they do lack chemistry...the glasses were "suppose" to help...but..ehh...=/... anyways....they really should have found another person to be paired up with either one of them....just not both of them together ending as a couple...lol

Joe look older than Myolie, but what's wrong with that? Joe's character is an man with a child and an accomplish career. In Love, the age isn't important!

i know but tvb series normally there is a love couple but for the two main characters yes there is no chemictry between them!!! wu seems to be like a kid no matter wot series shes in she portrays a kiddy character!!!

i have just finish watching Gateau Affairs, i love the movie but i dislike the 2 main characters (Joe Ma and Myolie Wu) they do not look like a couple. it was very unconvincing.

I agree with the majority of the people on this thread. They didn't match up well at all... joe ma just seemed too mature and myolie too immature for them to have much in common. but i think its not really their fault though... joe and myolie r both respectable actors and could probably have made their relationship more believeable if they had more to work with script wise. There's almost no way that even the most gifted actors could create chemisty from the crap that was the gateau affair's script.

I always saw their relationship as her having a crush on him
I never found it believable that he was able to reciprocate it on a romantic level
