It appears so out of place for some odd reason. Kenny should had been bowling rather than playing pool with his striped green/pink shirt. ' I loved the close up scenes of both KG though, giving them an opportunity to portray the song's emotions for a short period.

Yeah, I was hoping for the scenes to have more depth too, and to have Kenny and Gillian together more during the MV. There were like two scenes of them which had them in the same frame. The colour transitions are quite extreme in my opinion. KG are either very green or very white when they appear together. At Gillian's birthday celebrtation, they were both wearing green and the bracelet brought it out even more, then when they were singing the song and coming back together at the end, they were both wear white. I didn't really like the bracelet that much; it looked very odd at first site, but a few more looks at it, it's kinda cute. The charms were nice, but there's something else that made it look awkward. I expected at the end that Kenny and Gillian would hug, but they didn't, or at least Kenny would put the bracelet back on Gillian's wrist to represent that their love is ignited again.

The plot to this MV was very simple, so that's probably why. The MV probably was shot in one or two hours because Gillian is on a tight schedule. I saw a photo of Gillian and Charlene at an event, and Gillian was wearing the exact same clothes as she was in this MV except with a jacket over top, so I'm guessing she was in a bit of a hurry to not even have time to change, but she had a different colour of eye shadow on.

Doesn't the plot have a slight difference with the song though? The song and the EEG version tells of how both Kenny and Gillian are these overbearing and self-centered people, but it seems like in the TVB version, the blame's on Kenny. He left Gillian sitting there drinking orange juice while he was playing pool. But I guess they can't have the same plot in everything. This MV's not that bad looking at other TVB MVs; I've seen worse. There was this MV that TVB shot for the War And Beauty Sub by Gigi Lai and Bowie Lam, and I seriously didn't understand what they were trying to get at. They basically walk into a restaurant at different times VERY slowly, sit down, drink wine, and sing the song, and they disappear from this amulet at the end when the MV was set in the modern times. So yeah, I think this MV's one of the better ones. I was so scared when I first saw the beginning of the MV; I thought it was one of those MVs where they get some other actors/actresses to act it out for them while the actual singers of the song just stand around and sing when those girls popped up on the screen at the beginning. Then I quickly got a relief when I saw Gillian blow out the candle on the cake and the story began.

It's so mean that the MV for A Story Of Texas with Steven guest-starring is out already and it was filmed like last week. Then we have Conscience Discovery which was filmed about one or two months ago, and we have at least two more months to wait until it comes out. Anyway, Gillian has been invited as a guest to the 25th HK Film Awards along with Yumiko and Fiona because they are all at the age of 25. Hehe, another chance for us to see Gillian in the public! Is it just me or does it seem like more things are gradually gearing towards Gillian? I was on YesAsia earlier to see if there were any new products, and since YesAsia only displays the first two names when you're just browsing at the new products' page, I was shocked to see 'Twins|Gillian Chung' be displayed under the DVD version of the recent concert. (The displaying names had always been 'Twins|Charlene Choi'.)They have changed what they usually do which is from writing 'Singers: Twins|Charlene Choi|Gillian Chung' to writing 'Singers: Twins|Gillian Chung|Charlene Choi'. Later, I've found that they've done edits on most of the product information page of Twins' CDs. I think she's gonna go because I just don't think an invitation like that would be turned down by anyone. ' I don't know if Charlene's gonna go, but if she does, she won't be using the same identity as the ambassadors for the 25th HK Film Awards as Gillian, Fiona, and Yumiko are since she isn't 25 yet. Some mainland newspapers have advertised that Twins will be attending the awards ceremony on the 25th, but fans from fanclubs and forums are quite sure that it's only Gillian because Charlene is in Thailand at the moment; I guess we'll just have to see tomorrow.

Yeah, the focus of the camera has always been an issue, but it wasn't as obvious in the 2006 concert. It's a bit more evened out now, though it's still more Charlene-focused. Gillian messed up? When? I watched it and I didn't see either of them mess up during the performances.

Oo during singing "The Missing Piece" they was suppose to do some hand jobs and when it went to Charlene only she did it and when it went to Gillian she didn't. The MV wasn't too like intimate or detailed but this is pretty good. At least there is a plot. The Kindergarden MV was bad and this is actually amazing compared to that MV.

Yeah, Gillian went to the other awards show alone the day after the IFIP Awards Ceremony, which is taking place today, but it already happened over there in China because of the different time zones. Anyway, she sang Starlight Amusement Park again. I was hoping for another song, but at least she gets to show that she can manage singing solo!

Gillian does appear very casual and relaxed. I guess she has adapted to attending events and functions alone plus she has been filming Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain alone which has helped her with confidence evern more. I'm happy for Gillian.

Yeah, her outfit in this event looks a bit rushed because she is on a tight schedule; one award ceremony after another. The baggy outfits make Gillian look a bit shorter than usual and a bit meaty but overall, Gillian still looks beautiful no matter what.

Well, since Gillian has to fly around attending award ceremonies, dressing up, doing hair, putting on makeup, and returning back to filming; it's only normal she's tired thus explaining why she may appear to be a bit unhappy.

Yep, she definitely sang really well. I can tell that she has made a few touch ups on singing this song from the last time she sang it solo at the Hito Awards; she fixed up the ending keys of each verse by holding them a bit longer this time. At the Hito Awards, there was a minor flaw that she ended the last word of each verse a little too quickly, but this time she let her voice stretch those keys out a bit more before letting it go. Good work, Gillian! I guess it's not all that bad that she's singing this song again solo because it allows us to see that she has made even more improvements and touch ups on her singing since her last solo performance!

I dont remember his name, but Im thinking it could be that guy that visited Twins when they were at the studio recording, he brought them soup or something, its the time when they had Twins take pictures with those little guitars and they had the guy there. I know he's their friend but I dont know if its him singing the bg voice. If it is him, I think he sang the bg voice to a few more of the mandarin songs.

Hmm, personality-wise I think Char is labeled as the cute one cause she's more animated when she doesn't "have" to be, like at functions, or whatever. But when being cute is a requirement - I think Gillie can be just as cute as Sa. She does have a lot of cute facial expressions

Oh and she did pretty good singing alone once again - but I thought she sounded SO YOUNG. Why does her voice sound so different when she sings in Mandarin?

Mandarin is a much softer language/dialect so both Twins' voices sound younger in Mandarin versus Cantonese.

Wow. Gillian sounds so wonderful in this performance. She has definitely improved and seems like she's super relaxed now too.

Thanks for sharing the clip. She did indeed sing very well. I think she has improved since last time she had a solo performance in Hito; where she went abit off-key in the chorus, but this time her voice sounded more confident and stable. Seems like she's just getting better and better in live-singing.



Many people think they look alike, but strangely enough I don't see any resemblance at all. (maybe, it's just me...) Wonder whether they will have any interaction scenes in the flying fox series? Because if they do, then we'll be able to see them next to each other...which will make it easier for us to compare their appearances.

Yeah, that makes sense. I didn't notice AS MUCH as a change when Char sings in mandarin, but I think that is becuase Gillian has a softer/sweeter voice to begin with, so in mandarin, it just makes her sound realllyyy soft. But I am not complaining cause she sounds adorable! I just like her canto voice better

I'm a little iffy on that. There are a lot of factors for that issue; the main point is that Gillian's film development seems to be on a red light right now. I'm afraid that the only film that Gillian will have this year is the one with Charlene. Or with our luck, she may do another guest-staring role in some random film. Andy could very well have been just wanting to end the Charlene kissing/No Gillian kissing issue off on a good slate by saying that he will find a chance to kiss Gillian in a film. Even if we can trust Andy on keeping his word of asking Gillian to star in a film production, we probably can't trust EEG to accept the film offer for Gillian to actually be in a good quality and decent promoted film. Yeah, there isn't a definite agreeing or disagreeing towards the disband of Twins for me either. It pretty much sums down to what's best for Gillian, and Charlene as well. Well, Gillian's future is more of my priority between the two, but it's just that if Twins are disbanding, it isn't exactly entirely good nor entirely bad. It's going to be a lot more hard work and competition for them; that's for sure, but they'll be able to aim at their own specific talents more without being tied down by the other.

Speaking specifically about Gillian, if she does specifically concentrate on the singing route if the disband does take place in the future, I think she'll have no problem with her on-stage performances because we can see just how confident she has gotten when performing solo from her performance of Hover Bird in Beijing to her second performance of Starlight Amusement Park recently. A minor problem that she has is her confidence of giving speeches at awards ceremonies. I thought that Gillian wasn't nervous at all while singing and presenting the newcomer awards at the Eastern Awards, but she did look nervous when she was giving a speech for the award. I think a few more award ceremonies alone could help her; we can see that Gillian has no problem talking alone during concerts because those people are all fans of hers, but she's just a bit unsure during awards ceremonies because there are so many different people and fans there that she gets a little nervous.

Anyway, Gillian will be lighting the fires for the 25th HK Film Awards to begin the awards ceremony on April 8th as the ambassador of the HK Film Awards.

In the MV, it talks about Gillian celebrating her birthday with her friends, but she meets Kenny there, then the next year, it turns into Kenny celebrating Gillian's birthday with her. We see the couple being so sweet and loving, but because Kenny always just cares about playing pool with his friends, the two ended with splitting up.

Top Caption (Kenny/Gillian): Kenny and Gillian aren't giving even a glance to each other at all which deducts any kind of feeling as lovers. The reason is that Kenny is thinking of a plot to make Gillian, whose popularity has always been at a top spot , to become 'box office poison'.

Middle Caption (Gillian): Kenny celebrates Gillian's birthday with her, and gives her a bracelet as a present. But it turns out that the bracelet is of Gillian's own possession, so Gillian made a joke and said, "This thief (Kenny) stole my bracelet and is giving it back to me as a present!"

Even with all those insults being thrown back and forth, but Gillian personally actually admires Kenny a lot. Gillian expressed, "He's very hardworking. Ever since he came into the showbiz, he's practiced gymnastics, dancing, singing, and playing the saxophone. I envy of how he has so much time to take courses." Kenny replied, "Well, all it takes is some self-arranging with time. Waking up two hours earlier each day could spare me time to go water-skiing and play tennis." If every artiste was like Kenny and woke up so early, then it's a sure fact that the paparazzi would then have a hard time to ever snapping photos of artistes out clubbing at late night.

Friendship Versus Love

In the MV, Kenny leaves his girlfriend in the corner because of playing pool with his friends, but in reality, Kenny definitely isn't that kind of person, he said,"Friendship and love has to be balanced out appropriately. If it'll cause my girlfriend to be upset, then sacrificing a little friendship sometimes would be worth it (to make her happy again)."

As for Gillian, she has experienced to have such a careless boyfriend before. With that kind of past hanging on to her, she said without second thoughts, "If I meet up with another one of these people who leave me in the corner again, I'm sure that I'll definitely suggest a break up."

Hmm..... the TVB magazine's explaination of the MV's plot is quite different from what I interpreted. I thought the beginning of when Gillian was celebrating with her friends was after her break up with Kenny? That's why she looked a little confused/disturbed/upset? Weren't the scenes of Gillian's birthday celebration with Kenny and Kenny's pool playing scenes flashbacks to tell us why they broke up? Then Kenny offers the bracelet back to Gillian in the end to ask for a second chance, right?

Haha, Kenny and Gillian's conversation was so funny! I'd laugh if they actually meet up in a film later on, and then they can go on with who's the more 'charmless' one!

Hm, I'm beginning to dislike associating Gillian with Edison now since rumors have been surfacing about Maggie Q and Edison as an item.

The rumors of Edison and Maggie began ever since the filming of Gen Y Cops but the media only speculated without confirmation from the two stars so I don't consider that ever dating. They've always been close peers but now since the news of them dating has resurfaced, I think their friendship has elevated into something more especially with Edison always mentioning something about Maggie in his personal blog; it's just obvious there is something fishy about these two together.

Rosanne is old news la and both Edison and Rosanne have bluntly denied any intimate relations to one another but Maggie? Gosh, Edison acts like a two-year old after a big juicy lollipop that has been passed around and around lol. Sorry for my speech, I dislike Maggie. She is pretty but I didn't think that Edison would take her seriously into considering her as a girlfriend since Edison has never publically admitted anything towards anyone but now it seems as though he's not denying anything about Maggie. He's actually okay with her little spills about their relationship and allowing her to lead the relationship too. (Hm, but I have a small hope that perhaps it's not Edison. Gillian is overall too clean for Edison. Ever since the so called break up between Edison and Gillian, I've been hoping that perhaps sooner or later both would reconcile but it seems like Edison worsens by the minute, always having rumors with this person here and there and some of the reporters actually have gotten pretty good pictures too of his scandals so I'm just tired of his attention seeking ways. Gillian deserves way better than Edison.

I know, I'm taking this a bit too serious but I personally don't agree with Edison in the majority of things he does.
