Since the March 29th JSG chart came out and I don't see KG duet do you think they didn't make it?

*sigh* I do think that they didn't make it. I don't understand why though. Out of those five challenge songs from last week, all of the more popular songs didn't get on the actual chart, how could that be? Patrick Tang's Big Trouble, Michael Wong's It Is You, and KG's Conscience Discovery are all songs which were popular in HK, yet all three of those songs didn't make it and Rain Li's Angel Loves Beauty and Kelly Chen and Liza Wang's Freedom Goddess got on instead? How could that be? I don't know why Conscience Discovery made such poor results on other music charts either; when you look for online comments and for karaoke comments, the song is so popular, but it's never shown in official purposes. Now I really do hope that KG do have another duet coming their way because I seriously believe that a duet between these two compatible voices deserves some recognition.

Here's more news about Flying Fox And Snowy Mountain; this makes it sound even more like Gillian has a good character on her hands this time, and Wong Jing has finally done something in Gillian's benefit to the drama. I can't wait to see this series, and I hope Gillian feels better soon from the bad weather in Beijing.

Wong Jing's Wuxia series, "Flying Fox And Snowy Mountain" has started filming for close to three months already in Beijing; after Taiwan's An YiXian, who portrays Miu Yeurk Lan in the series, enters the filming crew, the three female leads have finally been confirmed. It appears that Mainland actor, Nie Yuan, is greatly fortunate in this series because he and Gillian Chung, who portrays Ching Ling So, have given a great performance of true love in the series.

Hong Kong's idol, Ah Gil@Twins - Gillian Chung, portrays one of the three love interests of Wu Fei's in "Flying Fox And Snowy Mountain", Ching Ling So, but when comparing to the original novel and the older versions of the series, just by looking at her series of trendy, blue costumes, we can see that Gillian's version of Ching Ling So will be extraordinary from the others.

From Nicholas Tse's 'Amazing Twin' to Edison Chen's 'Eight Heroes' and now to Gillian Chung's 'Flying Fox And Snowy Mountain', we can see that Wong Jing does plans to processing a path for HK Idols to step into the Wuxia series area. Having to accumulate many performance experiences from films such as "The Twins Effect", and "The Death Curse", Gillian should be able to handle her role with ease. The only problem is Beijing's sudden coldness and warmess in weather; it makes this girl who grew up in the south suffer a little more she should.

This is Nie Yuan's second time co-starring with Athena Chu, but it is just the first time with Gillian. From understanding, Wong Jing has done quite a bit of alterations to the ending of Ching Ling So sacrificing for Wu Fei in the new version of 'Flying Fox And Snowy Mountain'.

The processing director expressed to the reporter during an interview that Wong Jing's alteration is great to the plot; Ching Ling So originally sacrificed for Wu Fei in the novel, and now in the revised script, though she still died for Wu Fei, she also died because of Yuan Zi Yi. The Ching Ling So we're grasping at right now is very clever and lively; her appearance is just like a savior.

So its saying that Gillian will be using cantonese to film and when it's all done someone else will dub her voice into mando? So if it does come out in canto are they going to keep for voice? Please tell me yes!!

Directed by Wong Jing, "Flying Fox And Snowy Mountain" is filming right now in HuaiRou, Beijing. The costume of Gillian Chung's 'Ching Ling So' has finally been officially revealed. In the series, Ah Gil@Twins, Gillian Chung, will be in a triangle love relationship with Nie Yuan and Athena Chu.

According to the crew, the petite Gillian Chung is very brave during filming times. There was a scene of where Ching Ling So (Gillian Chung) and Miu Yeurk Lan (Zhang YiJin) were washing their feet in a river. The river had bits of frozen ice in there, so Wong Jing wanted to have a sub to finish the camera's shot at the feet, but Gillian persisted for herself to complete the scene. She said, "My feet are feet; the sub's feet are feet as well. I cannot just push away all the tiring and labourious scenes to the subs; I will do whatever I'm capable of. If my performance really is that much under the standards, then I'll ask for a sub to help me complete it."

Gillian does look really pretty! I like how the first photo, it seems like it emphasizes on her eyes and it makes the picture look so much prettier! I also agree about the messy hair, and I think the hair has been crimped a bit, not really wavy. It also seems like Gillian has a good amount of layers on so she shouldnt be too cold and wont be getting sick. I kind of wish this picture would be in color so we could see how her outfit really looks, because I wonder what color the clothes are for this set, I hope its not blue again because I want to see her with different colors.

I just want to add that Zhang YiJin is playing the 12 year-old version of Miu Yeurk Lan, and Ady An is still Miu Yeurk Lan, but the older version of her. Apparently, Miu Yeurk Lan will be coming between Ching Ling So and Wu Fei as a kid. ' Wu Fei brings Miu Yeurk Lan in to Ching Ling So to ask that Ching Ling So heals Miu Yeurk Lan from poison.

Hmm..... perhaps Gillian isn't going to have any co-staring scenes with Ady. Seems here that all Ching Ling So is going to see is the 12 year-old Miu Yeurk Lan. I'm assuming that Ching Ling So is a girl who dies young for love (typical wuxia series plot); it'd also seem weird if Ching Ling So's death time is stretched out to after Miu Yeurk Lan grows up and many multiple things happen. It's also said that half of the character Miu Yeurk Lan's screentime will be done by the 12 year-old girl, and Ady will take care of the other half.

Nope, Gillian is full chinese. It is Janice Vidal and Jill Vidal who are half Filipino. It seems like beauty usually revolves around having a little mix in the blood like Michele Reis, so Gillian's often mistaken as being mixed.

She could actually pass for a Chinese/Italian mix like Amanda Strang; their face shapes and features are quite similar, but the eyes are different because Gillian's eyes seem to be larger, darker, and prettier. Not sure if this comment is biased or not, but Gillian's face seems more comfortable to look at. Don't they look alike in the photo below though? It's also freaky to learn that Amanda Strang was also born on January 21st , but unsure if the year is 1980 or 1981.

Those black and white pictures of Gill in the new movie..is that really what her costume gonna be? looks like a monks costume..it's so plain and ewww...even her co-star's costume is so drab..makes the whole movie seem like a low budget production. It's a shame that she doesn't get a prettier outfit because the ancient movies usually have really pretty costumes and hair..lol.

yep, tt's the way her costumes is going to be, whether we like it or not. lols! her character is a tragic character & is not really a womanly character i guess. her costumes look more suitable for fighting & moving around. actually if you see it in colour instead of black & white, her costumes have quite a nice colour combination & tone to them. it's not as plain as the black & white version. btw, i tink tt black & white makes gill look very elegant!

I don't think those are two costumes; it looks like Gillian just has a shall over the costume she was wearing the interview while she was actually filming. The scene they were filming actually looked pretty good. Ching Ling So actually knows how to place threats when she has to.

The smaller version of Miao Ruo Lan is almost as tall as Gillian.

She looks sooooooo cute and young. Its odd, sometimes she looks mature and her age but when she changes the make-up and looks like this she honestly looks like she's 20 years old rather than 25.

Gillian does strike me as being mixed. Perhaps one of her earlier grandparents had an intimate relationship or married a foreigner but the mixed genes didn't reveal themselves until now, in Gillian lol.

I think she looks really young in the captures too. I reckon it's has something to do with the eyeshadow, because when she is on events, autograph sessions etc. she usually has pastel make up on, which is maybe the reason to why she looks really mature on those occasions, and when she's filming, recording, doing interviews etc. where she doesn't has as much on...she looks younger.

This is the real picture but in Gillian's photo, they mirrored it. Ady is the older version of Miao Ruo Lan (the leading female) in Gillian's serial, Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain. Both are gorgeous nonetheless.

This was one of Ady's commercials she did with hottie Dylan Guo; The Outsiders Fever . Here's a cute pose of them two. Hopefully, Ady and Dylan will pair up for a serial and Gillian can pair up with a hottie like that too but since Edison is out of the question...don't know who will match standing next to Gillian's side like this.

I really love the manipulation. The hairstyle and clothing really suited Gillian. Wish that she could have something similiar if she ever do another ancient serie again! I agree that Gillian actually looks better than the original one with Ady. The additional banks for the hair actually adds a nice touch to it! Caz I opened the TV late... and wow TVB is promoting Conscience Discovery even though it didn't make it on the JSG list.. Little_Purle_Bell question.. can a song be on the challenge list twice?

Wow! This is a really beautiful manipulation! You can barely tell that it is just the head replaced. It'd be so nice if Gillian's costume was something like this in her series. Gillian would be a good candidate for Siu Long Nui in ROCH.

The photo of Ady with Dylan looks more beautiful than the one with the pose though; actually the pose seems a little awkward altogether, but regardless both Ady and Gillian look great!



That's another thing I don't understand; TVB promotes Conscience Discovery in many ways. They use it as the background music for their TVB magazine commercial, now you've mentioned that they show it on Global Rhythm, and they've reported on the filming of the MV in the TVB magazine, yet it didn't make it on the JSG chart? How? Why? I kinda saw it coming though; Conscience Discovery's chances of getting on the chart were already slimmed down on the spot when they ran into Freedom Goddess by Kelly and Liza on the same week as challenge songs.

I don't think a song can be on the challenge song list twice, of all I know of. Maybe TVB will be nice enough to plug Conscience Discovery back into the chart tomorrow when the results of the week come out? I'm praying so much that it happens tomorrow. One thing I'm sure of is the TVB chart does have more than ten spots; it's just that they only show the top ten, and at random times, they will show a review of the top ten and the other ten songs after it at the bottom of the screen if they have time. Maybe Conscience Discovery is on the chart? Just that we can't see it? I'm anxious for the chart results tomorrow, but I'll most likely be disappointed.
