Well, there are cases where different songs with the same name are produced (e.g. Self Deception, Bondy Chiu had a song with this title released a long time ago, but a different song with this title was released last year by Alex Fong and Theresa Fu.), but I agree of how it's really unlikely for that to be done for the same artiste. Perhaps they pulled some new songs out to put on the second version, so they didn't have enough songs for the first version; therefore, Samba came in handy? EEG is too unpredictable. If Samba is the same Samba, then it's kind of like a rip-off. This is advertised as an all-new album, so all the songs on the CD should in fact be new. Unless they're writing New Songs + Best Selections on the CD, it's not acceptable for the same Samba to be on the CD because it's already been released on another album.

I'm not sure about commercial songs either because I once read a post by someone who was complaining of why Janice's 'I Want to Love When I Want to Love' wasn't plugged, and then someone else explained that it's because it's a commercial song. I don't know; maybe it depends on which commercial that the song is serving for?

From what we're hearing, it seems like things for the upcoming album isn't exactly finalized yet. EEG must be being pretty indecisive if they still haven't finalized things when the album is releasing in less than two weeks.

Hopefully EEG will film a MV for the solo songs. We'd at least want a MV for the solo songs even if they weren't going to be plugged. I just hope they're good quality songs though.


All the information on the album is still moving around. Today's news suddenly reported that this Mandarin album is releasing on the 1st of June, instead of the 2nd as we've been hearing. We may have some hope that Twins will film MVs for the songs that aren't plugged since the interview that they mentioned about the MVs was quite a while ago, so I'm not surprised if things had been altered since then. I wouldn't be surprised if the various clips were put together to make 'MVs' for every song.

Hmm just watched "Around The World With 80 Dollar" MV and I LOVE Gillian hair. All her outfit. I don't know if its me but I love anything Gillian wears. She just look good in it. I realized like watching a billion of times later that in the beginning there was 6 dancers and 3 was following Gillian and the other 3 was following Charlene. How slow am I? Also if Gillian didn't wear the light blue jacket to dance she would look better because it was making her weird with the jacket on. Her dance surelly improved alot! But only if she danced in the tie outfit more. Something I want Gillian to do is feel free around Charlene when its only them to on the camera. Like Charlene always have her hand moving to the beat and Gillian just moves to the side, Gill should start to move her hand and stuff to the beat instead of just moving back and forth. Her hair looked weird during the half part with the light blue jacket.

I personally LOVE this MV more than "Tranformation Party" though this MV don't have more color/life in the background. It should of been light blue or something to bring it out and something I like about "Transformation Party" was that it was all pink and white and brings life to the people who was watching it.

Also have anyone notice that whenever Gillian dance jumping she always hold on to her right leg pant? Also I find these mando video way better than the canto songs video

^ I guess we all have different preferences. Hopefully, the solos are still part of the finalized product. That is all I'm asking for. I could really care less if Samba, Hover Bird, Only Once No Twice was on the track list or not, I'm just anticipating on the solos. I don't even really care for the new songs either.

I think the MV is pretty nice, at least better than some of their recent MVs. Don't hate or love it. I just think Gillian's hair was pretty bad, especially that "bush" It wasn't really appealing. I think she should have the style she had in the pictures below in the MV. Would look so much better and probably fit their MV better since it's so youthful.

Gillian looks prettier with her natural beautiful straight hair but she does pull off the curly hairstyle quite well too. Um, I didn't enjoy both of the new music videos thus so far; perhaps, I'm not too into the songs themselves so the music videos seem quite bland. I thought I liked Transformation Party but seems like this song just doesn't stick or strike me as interesting long enough before the song becomes a bit irritating lol.

Hm, perhaps Gillian looks thinner to me because Sa isn't standing next to her or at least Sa isn't included in the picture. Once Sa enters the photo, Gillian seems to have gained some extra pounds immediately lol, sort of like, gaining weight by just looking at an apple. Anyone would look chubby or whatever you call it next to Sa, just not only Gillian. But I do believe that Gillian has lost a few pounds at least because her cheekbones are beginning to form a sharper shape in comparison to previous snap shots but I don't know, it could all be my own imagination at work.

I saw the poster of S.H.E's concert in the news section, and thought it looks similar to Twins' cover too. Hm...I don't know who copied who though, because neither of Twins' nor S.H.E's staffs are original enough. S.H.E is known for singing cover songs, which shows lack of originality from the composers of theirs. But as you mentioned...the music video directors for Twins aren't much better either, since they copied Boa and Evanescence's MVs. So it could go both ways...or maybe it's the same person who made both of the posters. (?)


I wonder why there aren't any news about that show either, because there are usually some kind of reports on the artists going there and from the pics I've seen...I think the other guests are Micheal Tse, Dodo and Kevin Cheng, who are somewhat known...well Dodo and Kevin atleast. So it's quite weird if there really isn't any news. Maybe it's just that no one has bothered to translate it?

I just found the lyrics to her solo in CCT. After reading it, I think the song is most likely a fast/upbeat one. But then again it's only my assumption. I do hope it's a ballad though, since I'm not really fond of fast songs.

I actually considered to add the album to my cart when going to HK this summer, just for the sake of Gillian's solo. But now I'm starting to question whether it's worth buying...since I don't like any of the songs that have been out so far and not to mention the song, which a few people in here including me thought will be good, turn out to contain profanity/profanities. Which will definitely lead to criticisms from the Chinese people and the media.

Initially, I wasn't planning on purchasing the album until Gillian's solo was featured, my mind changed but now? Hm, considering that it was too good to believe that EEG would actually place personal issues aside and invest effort into Gillian's solo equally plus the possibility of profanity and none of the solos being ballads, forget it. I really dislike all of this youthfulness.

Here are closer shots of Twins at the Radio interview. I don't like Sa's hat. Gillian seems thinner to me but not that much though but gosh, Gillian is still so beautiful especially the close ups. Such huge eyes and great skin.

Are you guys seriously kidding me? You guys are judging their solos before you've even actually HEARD them. You are just taking one look at the lyrics and saying "Oh no, must be crap."
The album is targeted mostly at the Taiwanese and Mainland China audience, which is different from Hong Kong - for Twins anyway. EEG have obviously researched the market and know what is best in terms of profit; in this case Twins need to present a youthful and playful image. I don't think in any way are they trying to "shortchange" Gillian fans. Look at the bigger picture: EEG want profit and sales and they will only get that by taking into consideration the markets needs, including ALL fans.
If you guys don't like the songs don't buy the album (and I don't see how that will help Gillian), but I really, really hope that you will not download it.
All this talk of biased issues and supporting Gillian? Just words, no actions.

I personally dislike the album theme and plugged songs so far but my opinion may change depending on other songs from the album. I think we all differ in opinions and thoughts. We were just speculating about the solos based on the composers like Cathy had mentioned and some lyrics. We all haven't concluded much because we know that everything hasn't been finalized finalized yet. We were just merely discussing the possibilities. I believe all of us still have hope that this album may be something different, unique, and enjoyable accordingly to each individual's preference or style of music once the album is released, that's why we're still chatting about it. If we no longer were interested, I don't think we would still tune in on the news or information about this album. I don't see the problem in waiting to hear some other songs from the album before actually purchasing it, not through downloading but perhaps from Friends who have bought the album. And even if some fans don't end up enjoying the album, enough to purchase it, I don't see how not purchasing one album of Twins would be considered unsupportive of Gillian or just words with no actions.

Oh...a slow song! Is this going to be in their Mandarin Album?? I reckon it doesn't sound that bad but I can't really hear with all those background voices. The melody sounds pretty nice. I hope this wouldn't be the only ballad though in their album (if it is in their album). Anyways, why were they singing this song for?

I think I hear the guy's voice that was from their previous song "Starlight Wonderland" He is not even an artist and I already love his voice so much!!

Thanks for sharing! This song is really good! It's a ballad, so we don't have to worry about all the songs being so youthful on the album. It's so heartbreaking to hear this though. 'I Really Want To Love Him' is better than any of the previous three songs. Highly recommended! I'm looking forward to the MV as well. I read that they will be inviting the same guy from 'Starlight Amusement Park' as the male lead for this MV; the MV will talk about Charlene falling in love with him, yet he loves Gillian instead. After Gillian found out Charlene's pain, she painfully decides to end her relationship with him because she feels her friendship weighs more toward her. This is a MV to look forward to!

As for the solos, I suppose we don't have to be too grim on them. I have no complain on the lyrics since they're both nicely written by the same lyricist. It's just that Charlene's solo's lyrics look more in depth using lots of words that describe how painful is meant, and Gillian's solo was put together using simple and straightforward words. But I'd say this is because of the different topic. Gillian's solo is referring to a determined girl who is giving attempts to forget her boyfriend and is moving on so that's why the lyrics are so carefree while Charlene's solo refers to a girl who can't seem to let go of the relationship and still dwelling on her boyfriend, therefore using the painful words. An article mentioned that they assigned the solos by the characteristics of each of Charlene's and Gillian's voices, so perhaps the solos will suit them? Or else it woudl be the production crew doing another bad job with each of their abilities. The article expressed that Gillian's solo is an interesting production/collabration between 呂紹淳(Composer) and 何啟弘(Lyricist), but I'm not sure what 'interesting' means to them, but they didn't give any descriptions about Charlene's solo; they just said that her solo is produced by 伍仲橫(Composer) and 何啟弘(Lyricist). From looking at lyrics, it still looks like Gillian's solo can be sang fast or slow; Charlene's solo mainly looks like it's sang slow.

黑盒子is a REALLY good example of how you can't judge a book by its cover. I really thought this would be a nice ballad when I saw the title, but the lyrics had profanity in it. It doesn't even look neccessary either. I wonder what's up with that lyricist? I heard that many of her songs are deleted from artistes' albums when released in Mainland; it couldn't be that they all include profanity, could it? 黑盒子isn't going to be included in the Mainland/Taiwan version of 'Around The World With 80 Dollars'; the HK version will while the versions of the other places will replace that song with 'Hover Bird'.

Just by listening to the background noises and audience, you could totally tell that the person who recorded this song was part of the Sa group. I just found that funny, not anything bad lol. Towards the beginning and end of the song, when the Gillian fans were screaming Ah Gui, their voices were heard from a distant whereas, when Sa fans screamed Ah Sa, it was louder and closer to the camera's microphone.

Thanks for sharing. I totally love this song. 1. It's finally a ballad. 2. Both Twins sound wonderful. I'm amazed how Sa improved quite a bit from her shaky live performances and this time, she didn't lower any notes lol. Sa sang beautifully and as strong as usual plus perfect volume. Gillian. Seems like she improved on extending her notes a bit longer especially at the end. Gillian sounds great. I loved it when Gillian executed all of the high notes successfully without much struggle nor fuzziness. Gillian's voice is just so soothing and harmonious in this song. I say, Gillian is ready to launch lol.

Sounds like a nice music video. I guess, this album is on my To Buy List again just for this song and of course, other ballads if any plus Gillian's solo.

Hm, each solo is assigned to each Twin according to their different abilities eh? Well, hopefully Gillian's solo will be a ballad since Gillian portrays her emotions and voice quality best in ballads whereas Sa would do better in fast songs but I highly doubt that is what they see or choose to believe.

I'm not enjoying the idea of so many different versions. Perhaps, I'll buy the Taiwanese Version because I like Hover Bird. Or I'll just wait for the second version to come out. I don't have enough money to buy all versions with minor changes in each new edition.

As for the 3rd Annual Music King Award, both of their outfits are not comfortable to the eyes lol. Their hairstyles are both decent. I like Joey's wardrobe more. It does seem as though Gillian lost a few pounds whereas Sa appears to be much healthier than before. But yay, Gillian in jeans!!!

As for the music video, I think no one ends up with the guy. But hopefully, the screen time will be equal because that wasn't the case in Lady In a Perplex World, the theme was similar. I just don't want to see Gillian here and there, 2-3 second shots to let the audience know that she exists in the music video while completely focusing on Sa and her painful situation, falling in love with someone who doesn't return her love and then a short Gillian decision by leaving the guy and then Twins kiss and make up.

I acutally really like Gilian's brown top and I'm glad that Twins dressed alike for that one thing. It reminds me again that they ARE Twins.

It's only an audio clip. You didn't hear Gillian? Perhaps because Gillian is singing quite softly yet so soothing. Sa begins the song then at 17 seconds is where Gillian comes in singing her solo verse, 35-51 seconds is where Sa sings the chorus alone and then at 52-1:08 seconds is when Gillian sings the other portion of the chorus solo and then the same pattern of taking turns singing between Twins continues until the very ending verse, Twins only share one verse together at the end. Well, this is what I heard so I'm not quite sure I'm being very accurate since there were a lot of noise in the background making it difficult to hear. I like this song.

Yeah, it was obvious of how the 'Ah Sa' screaming was recorded right up close since it was so loud and clear. I think it's probably the person who recorded this clip that was doing the screaming, but it was still nice that she recorded this to share. This also proves the point of how there are two distinct groups of people cheering for Gillian and Charlene in HK.

They both sounded really well in this song; it was like a CD version of it. It's great that Charlene finally got to stabilize her notes and Gillian made improvements of extending her notes.

I'm not too confident about that either; perhaps the abilities of each Twin seen by the producers are more 'unique', and they don't correspond to what we fans see. Besides, who knows if the solos were really assigned according to abilities? It's just what they claim. The 'abilities' they 'see' are probably COMPLETELY opposite of what we see, but we shouldn't be jumping conclusions. Stay positive, even though it's hard because there are bound to be disappointments; it just differs to a small or big one. Perhaps there are abilities of both Gillian's and Charlene's that we haven't seen yet. Hopefully, there will be some surprises.

I'm not sure if the guys ends up with Charlene, but I think most likely neither of the girls will get the guy since they'll probably give the message of how friendship outweighs love or something like that. I still want to see the MV though; it seems like one with a good plot.


I somehow think the screentime will favour Charlene more as well. According to the article I was reading, Charlene has many emotional/painful scenes in this MV, so I'm afraid that what you described will actually happen. Gillian may end up being the one with the least screentime between the three. Charlene will have the most because she'll probably have many solo scenes with the description of her emotions. The guy will have decent screentime because they'll have scenes of how Charlene met him when he helped her find her dog, and I'm guessing they'll have some scenes where they hang around together so Charlene could fantasize about him. Then Gillian will come out as the girlfriend which destroys any hope of Charlene's, and by then, it'll be towards the end of the MV, so we'll see Gillian breaking up with him walking away sadly, and she makes up with Charlene. End of story.

I don't think they made mistakes because the song is getting deleted from the Taiwanese version because of the vulgar language. Personally, I don't think it'd matter too much with the word 'b!tch' in the song because how many people in Taiwan/Mainland or even part of HK will know that it's a word of profanity? In the chinese forums, no one saw a problem with it; some people even asked what it meant. The big deal about this is because it's Twins who are singing this song. Twins, idol of all ages. It may be a bad influence to small children if they try singing along with the song. It doesn't matter with HK because it's not like HK people don't use profanity, but they use it in chinese that is. The lyrics do make sense, but I'd say it isn't totally neccessary; the lyricist could've easily found alternatives for that part, or does she just want to have it appear out of the ordinary?

Anyway, I just read from the news that '49 Days' is entered in the Grand Prix Award 2006! The producer of this film is very thrilled to see that the first film produced by his company is making another achievement by being selected to enter a film festival overseas. He expressed that if the cast has time, he will invite them to fly over to Japan for further promotions.

I've decided to translate some of the lyrics of the upcoming album for those who want a better understanding of the lyrics. It also helps me to understand the lyrics more since thinking is actually needed to translate.

EDIT:
After translating, I feel that Gillian's solo, 'Which Day is it Today?', gives me the same feeling as Hilary Duff's 'So Yesterday'. It's like how the girl doesn't want to dwell on a relationship anymore, so she decides to forget about it through each day of the week. Perhaps the style will be like that as well? Maybe it's a song that has a faster pace but not with a weird tone like 'Transformation Party'?

'Black Box' sounds like a contradicting girl, or more like a hypocrite, because she's getting angry and blowing up when her boyfriend goes through her secrets, yet she's doing the same thing with her boyfriend's secrets. It simply sounds like a girl with a blow-up attitude.

'I Really Want To Love Him' is nicely arranged because the lyrics are actually written to have two girls expressing their role in the relationship. Neither of the girls are experiencing more or less pain than the other. Charlene isn't able to love a guy that she loves because he is her friend's boyfriend, yet Gillian doesn't have any better of an experience because she knows that Charlene does have an impact on her relationship with her boyfriend.

I feel that 'You are the Bravest' is going to be a ballad too. The lyrics of this song are so bittersweet. A girl's boyfriend has left her to make his dreams come true, but the girl doesn't utter a word of complaint but instead gives full support to him and waits for him to come back. It really makes me wonder: What if he doesn't come back?

Oooh! That guy from the Starlight Amusement Park Mv was CUTE! Like you guys said, I hope that they do even out the mv, and since Gillian and him are going to be bf/gf in the mv, I hope that they will have some sweet moments like how Charlene did with him in the Starlight Amusement Park mv.



Remember how you guys said that in HK, mostly 'deep' voices dominate? Well I also find that in Taiwan, there are a lot of female singers that have high and girlier voices like Gillian's so this can help Gillian. especially seeing how in Taiwan, they do have a good amount of their focus on fast songs and if Gillian's song is fast, and along with her voice, it may be able to go well with the Taiwan industry. Also, I find that Gillian's voice can go well with balads too, but due to her 'high' voice, it should go well with the song if it's fast. While Charlene's voice is more deep, it seems like it can go well with the slow song. Well in my opinion anyways. I think both can do well in either fast or slow songs, but seeing how they gave Gillian and Charlene their songs according to their voices, it seems like it could work and to be pretty fair.



To me, Gillian never had a stomache that 'showed', her stomache always seemed pretty flat to me with no fat sticking out, the only parts that I found to be getting 'chubbier' (hint, not CHUBBY, but CHUBBIER compared to when she first came out, meaning not fat) was her face and her arms.



I really like Gillian's top, I like how it shows off her curves, which is one thing that Gillian never really shows/does. And yeah, the design of her top doesnt really look too nice, but I like the style of it! And her hair isn't in those poofy curls! Its still in curls but after she put it in braids and pigtails, it looks MUCH nicer. I like Charlene's outfit too, but it doesnt really go too well with her body. And yeah, it does look like Gillian has lost some weight, while it does look like Charlene has gained some weight too, but not that much. But its still an improvement on her to be healthier!



Do you know if they're still going to make a sequel to 49 Days? They were talking about it around the time 49 Days came out in the theatres, but after that I havent heard any news of it.

Twins' song Black Box reminds me of the American film Little Black Book with Birttany Murphy. The themes are similar too; secrets this, secrets that and the pair end up breaking up because the relationship was more of a summer fling rather than true love lol.

Hm, perhaps EEG does have a few of their employees surf the internet for makert clues and suggestions because seems as though a few things we mention here somehow gets granted one way or the other but it can all be coincidental, who knows.

Hm, I'm sort of skeptical of behind the scenes decisions and judgment. I mean, they can't even equalize Twins' onscreen time, what makes me think they're going to distribute the solos accordingly to merit? But anyways, I do hope and wish Gillian the best. Yeah, I don't think either Twin ends up with the guy in a love triangle; they end up happily with each other instead. Sounds like a nice sad storyline but it would ruin the song for me if Gillian only appears like 20% of the music video while Sa receives 50% and the guy's portion takes up the remaining 30%. Why does the final product always gear towards Sa? I mean, Twins sing equal parts of the song, mind as well portray equal parts in the music video as well. I don't want to see another Starlight Amusement Park but the ballad version. I don't understand why they can't produce a more mature version Girl School, Boy Student without the uniforms and high school setting? Both Twins fell for the same guy, Edison, but shared the same amount of screen time and still managed to deliver the message beautifully. Hm, even if the roles were switched, Gillian being the one denied of love and Sa as the girlfriend, the storyline would somehow end up focusing on Sa's situation more. I guess, I should be immuned to this type of pattern already since it just so happens in the majority of Twins music videos anyways. Argh~


I guess, depending when the film festival overseas will take place, Gillian is pretty much occupied at the moment up until the release and after promotions of Twins' Cantonese album and/or new film together. But Gillian could always make a quick trip here and there if necessary. Hopefully, this event will require all females to wear elegant gowns, proper accessories, and exquisite hairstyles plus a hot hunk on the side as they walk hand in hand on the red carpet. I haven't seen Gillian in a nice gown for a while now. And since it's overseas, hopefully, her curls will die out.


If Gillian's solo does end up being a fast song, let's hope it at least is up to par with Hilary's So Yesterday. I like that type of genre. Hm, am I the only one who is cheering for the guy in No Tears In Moscow rather than the Starlight Amusement Park guy? The guy in NTIM was much more mature and sophisticated, suited for a love triangle and especially when Twins want to portray a more mature image, their love triangle should also include serious content too. The Starlight guy is cute but a bit young but I understand why they chose him, he's youthful, which matches the album theme. In terms of looks, I think the Starlight guy is just cute, not good looking like the NTIM guy but I guess that's just my preference lol.

Hm, shouldn't Sa portray the girlfriend in the new music video of I Really Want to Love Him? I mean, they should continue the original relationships in Starlight Amusement Park. Sa and the guy should be a pair while Gillian secretly falls in love with him too which creates the triangle.

That's probably why I prefer sweeter voices like Gillian's over Sa's because I'm used to listening to Mandarin voices more. That's true; the majority of female singers recognized in the Mandarin market are those who possess light voices versus those with deep vocals. I'm not judging the success of the solos on anything just yet. I have to listen to both songs before concluding. Even if Gillian's voice best suits ballads or fast songs in the Mandarin market or that Gillian falls into the category of possessing a high voice like other popular singers, doesn't always imply that her solo will be widely accepted. Hm.. reading the english verison of the I Really Want To Love Him makes me want to hear the CD verison badly. And of course want to watch the MV. Sometimes I wonder if Gillian herself know that basically she don't have much screen time if the relationship falls with Charlene in the MV. Hm..wonder what kind of scenes do Gill have with the guy?

Probably some brief scenes of holding hands, laughing, and enjoying themselves allowing the audience and Sa know that they're a couple. I don't know either but I wouldn't be surprised if Gillian only showed up in the beginning to let Sa know he's taken, in the middle to witness something fishy between Sa and the guy together, and then at the end when Gillian breaks up with him to save her friendship with Sa. Sa and the guy will most likely lead the basis of the music video. Actually, I think we would be lucky to see Gillian in the beginning of the music video lol! Anyways, just my guesstimation, don't take it too seriously.

I would think Gillian knows how limited her exposure and opportunities are when she's back under the label Twins but what can she do? Not much. Plus I think that Gillian isn't the type of person who will whine and complain about how biased things are within Twins. Gillian cares a lot for Sa and seems like, if Sa is the one Gillian is sacrificing for, she's more than willing to. Even with less opportunities, Gillian is already as successful as ever. Both Twins have been on the list of the wealthiest/most earned annual income consecutively for the past few years, that in itself is already satisfactory for Gillian.

I love how Gillian is quite content with what she currently has. I think Gillian's ultimate milestone in life is not to make as much money as possible; well, that too, mainly to provide her mother, sister, and family with a comfortable life she never really had as a child but I think Gillian would love to just personally own a small business all by herself so she can manage it however way she wants without restrictions. I mean, Gillian is quite a sensitve person already. She can't live in criticisms, hate, comparisons, greed, and biases forever in the ET industry. There has been too many times Gillian has wished to quit the ET industry but was restrained to. Whichever decision Gillian chooses in the future, I hope her all the best.

But in the meantime, I'll enjoy her songs and films to the fullest.

From what you've expressed, it really does give us another reason to not be so grim with Gillian's solo. We do have to keep in mind that market standards of Taiwan don't balance out with HK. It may actually be a good thing that Gillian's solo may be more upbeat because it could be more easily accepted along with Gillian's high voice in Taiwan. Hope everything works well for Gillian and her solo song.

I don't know if they are still making a sequel. News was made about the sequel when '49 Days' made good results in the theatres, but when I watched the behind the scene interviews, the director said something like a successful film doesn't necessarily need to have a sequel or something. But the news did mention that the sequel's plot will be talking about Ling Chi's future, so I don't know how Siu Chin will tie in unless Gillian's playing an older character, or perhaps Gillian will play the older Ling Chi?


Yeah, it has been suggested by someone else before that things do get slightly better or actually come true for Gillian after our lengthy reasonings. I think EEG does do market research, so perhaps that would include online forums, but we just can't sure if they're looking here.

It's so hard to ignore that MVs are always geared towards Charlene because it's true. Being a fan of Gillian's, we'd obviously want to see her on the screen just as much as Charlene, but it seldomly happens. It doesn't exactly matter which role Gillian and Charlene are given because things will usually gear towards Charlene more. Even if it's not for because we hope to see Gillian more, they should at least think of the MV's storyline. Wouldn't the MV be better in general if both the characters were described with depth? Why can't they just show each Twin during the times of when they sing alone? And distribute it nicely and evenly when they sing together? Twins' MVs never have one of them get the guy if both were in love with him. 'Starlight Amusement Park' was different because Gillian didn't like the guy, but she just didn't want him stealing Charlene. Even with the MVs with 'Friend's Love' and 'Lady In A Perplexed World', I finally found out the ending for that. The ending was actually presented during a function, so it was acted out live. In the end was William telling Gillian that he loved her the most and apologized to Charlene, but Gillian chose her friendship with Charlene instead of her relationship with William.

I hope it's similar to Hilary's 'So Yesterday' as well because the lyrics sure make the song seem like the same style, but I just hope the composer doesn't let us down. I'd love to hear Gillian sing something like that. It's definitely something that Gillian hasn't tried before. 'So Yesterday' is a really catchy song, so let's just hope 'Which Day Is It Today?' is able to compare with it. Hopefully, 'Transformation Party' was just a slip up for this composer, and he did a much better job on Gillian's solo. After knowing that Taiwan's market really accepts this kind of upbeat songs, it may not be as bad if Gillian's solo was more pop-rock.

I like the music that JJ Lin composes too; it's so soothing. It's definitely the best of all that's released of the album so far. Now that you speak of Charlene beginning the song, I wonder why it's been switched nowadays that Charlene begins the songs more while Gillian begins the songs in the earlier days? Have you guys noticed that almost all the songs that Twins win awards for or get recognition for are started off by Gillian? It's just an amusing discovery.

That's a pretty good suggestion; it'd be cool if it were actually a continuation of 'Starlight Amusement Park', but perhaps the girlfriend role doesn't provide as many areas to shine than the girlfriend's friend, so the roles were distributed differently. Or maybe they decided that since Charlene was his girlfriend last time, they let Gillian be his girlfriend this time?

I never thought I'd anticipate on this album so much; I didn't even think I'd buy the album because of the first two released songs, but there definitely seems to be surprises on the album, let it be good or bad ones. The only thing that could let us down about Gillian's solo right now is if the composer screwed the tune up. It doesn't even matter if the solo isn't plugged as long as it's a good production. 'My Father, Mother' still managed to get recognition even though it wasn't plugged, so let's hope 'Which Day is it Today?' is able to achieve the same or better. I still wonder if it's a rare thing for this lyricist and this composer to collaborate? The news made it sound so awesome or what not.
