I didn't even realize the position until you mentioned it. This cd is just another jackpot money project for EEG since EEG normally doesn't have any summer group albums like they do for Christmas. Hopefully, this doesn't spring another great idea for EEG to continue producing special summer albums. Since the majority of their artists are enlisted in this album, they just included Eason, since he's regained back his position in the music industry and Nic, just to please the Nic fans who are probably wondering when he'll release a new album.
Hopefully, it's an ancient film. At least thieves back in the days could fight and didn't necessarily get executed like today's laws; thieves aka Robin Hoods were praised for their bold actions against the corrupted governmental officials. Hm, pondering about it, it could be an ancient film. I mean, that's the only way Twins can get away with being good role model thieves right?

This mini concert is actually held at TVB because it says 'Tsang Gwun Ngo TV City' for the place it's being held. I think it either will have VCD/DVD versions or just have it aired on TV or both. There's possiblities for the VCDs and DVDs because EEG can sell them for money; whereas, they won't get as much profit if it's just a one-time live performance, but TVB is lending out one of their studios for them to hold this at, so EEG might just let TVB air it for their ratings benefit. Both sounds impossible because practically no one in HK will buy it because they would've seen it for free on TV, but they could depend on overseas fans. The worst thing to know is there is no recorded version of this, but a one time performance only. I remember Alex, Theresa, and Stephy held a concert together once, but it had never been released, but just done live.

I really want to hear how they synchronize now that Charlene has set down her loud singing. Hopefully, we will have a chance to see this concert.

I doubt that EEG is going to be supportive of KG as well; they've had multiple times of performing it together already, but it had never happened. Even though being quite popular, the duet was never promoted, so it's like 1/100 for KG to be performing their duet at this concert. Besides, Kenny's supposedly promoting his duet with Isabella now. They sang a themesong of this video game together that they are the spokespeople of. Letting KG perform together alone would also mean Charlene has to take a break off-stage, and since when could Gillian ever do anything extra that Charlene isn't part of or doesn't get something equal or better along the same range? Right, never. Too many factors just work against us of hearing a live performance of the duet, so unless some weird idea pops up, and EEG lets KG perform together, it would be impossible. Call me pessimistic, but we've been let down too many times by EEG aout Gillian to not be.

This concert will most likely be based on their mandarin songs, so they'll probably sing the songs off the album; I guess hearing them sing their solos is good, if they do sing them. Then they might sing some of their classic cantonese songs to take up some time, and Kenny will help take up some more time and give Twins a break as he sings his song(s).

That is so true. But I don't get why EEG is working Twins so hard when their contract expires next year. Also they can't just keep Gillian aways from trying stuff just because Charlene isn't on stage. I mean thats really stupid if you want to keep things fair. But as we could see EEG doesn't keep stuff fair between "Twins". KG synchronize well on CD, but I really want to find out how it is for them live. I think they could bring a lot of stage chemistry together, seeing how much chemistry they brought out during the MV of their duet. You're kinda right; it'd be way more significant and meaningful if Kenny went on to perform with Gillian rather than just going there to sing one of his own songs by himself. It could be anyone if that's the case, but Kenny is Gillian's duet partner. They've done two duet songs together already, so they should at least perform together once. Wouldn't it be awesome if they performed 'Conscience Discovery' and then performed the full version of The Legend Of Love themesong? <--- Highly doubt it'd happen, another wishful thinking thing. I still wonder from time to time how the second half of the song goes. Anyway, for the two ballads, I think Gillian does 'I Really Want To Love Him' better while Charlene does 'You Are The Bravest' better. Gillian seems more familiar and deepened by 'I Really Want To Love Him' more, and not to mention her first Twins song of vibratos. The solos are worth anticipating as well; we can see how Gillian improved on extending her ending notes.

Your video wasn't bad; it gave a different feeling of Gillian, like the really hot girl walking down the street kind of deal. It would've been slightly better if the clips you used from 'Samba' showed Gillian instead of Charlene since the video is based on Gillian.

Yeah, we don't really need to do any hoping for live duets between Kenny and Gillian because it simply won't happen. Like you said, EEG is too fair to do that. I think he'll sing more than one song though because EEG is distributing a portion of the tickets to his fanclub, so if he's just there for one song, then they should leave most, if not all, the tickets for Twins' fans since it's their concert. Seeing their improvement is definitely the thing we'll be watching for.

Well I don't understand why they can't have Gill and Kenny sing their duet, and then Charlene and Kenny sing a duet version of "know first"...? Isn't that what Kenny suggested at their last concert or something? Probably not the best solution for KG fans (as a KC fan though I quite like the idea...heh heh), but I think that would be a fair solution, so they both have "equal" stage time. BUT it's probably not going to happen anyway, I would like to see KG do the song too even though I still don't like the song (BUT I did love that legend of love themesong they sang together XD.) I think it would be a challenge for both of them, but if it turns out great, it could do a lot in boosting people's opinion of their live singing.

Well, the thing is that, Know First isn't a duet song in the first place so it might sound weird. If KC were to sing a duet live, mind as well choose a real duet song to collaborate on. Hm, similar to Twins films and music videos, Twins don't share men lol.

EEG is dumb like that. You know, money isn't always on their agenda especially towards Gillian. I mean, why would EEG choose a serial project especially under Wong Jing in Mainland, which pays less, if they could have accepted an interesting film for Gillian in HK just to fill in the gap while Sa was filming her movies? Films do accumulate a higher income than serials and takes up less time too but why? EEG is avoiding promoting Gillian further in HK solo. All of the solo events Gillian has attended have been in Mainland, none in HK. All of the requested live duet performances with Edison and Kenny have been cancelled and ironically, in HK. Any next leading roles can win Gillian a Best Actress Nomination/Award. Ever since her real lead role in BOK, Gillian has been escalating in the acting industry and those are just 2-3 films so far, imagine if Gillian was to produce more films that quality and up with the same directors, how easily Gillian can conquer the acting industry, that is probably EEG's biggest fear since they have never intended on promoting Gillian in the acting industry in the first place. If Gillian was fortunate enough, she'll be semi-promoted into the music industry but not acting, that's completely reserved for Sa.

Oh, and starring in a Jin Yong Novel means nothing if the director ruins the entire storyline with his goofy ideas like always, like Wong Jing. I've read some pieces of news on how the serial is progressing and let me just say, not too good. Wong Jing's alterations to this version is so beyond ridiculous and the cast isn't strong enough to support these changes. Yeah, of course, Gillian, Athena, Ady, Nie Yuan, and the older actors are quite popular but which serial/film did Wong Jing not have a decent cast but still failed in the end? Cecilia and Leo are two well-known figures but even they couldn't save their Wong Jing film. After CLS's death, the entire serial seems to fall downhill from there. Wong Jing would be more successful making all of these silly changes if the serial wasn't one of Jin Yong's novels that has been adapted before. The serial even without Wong Jing's great ideas is already prone for harsh criticisms and comparisons already, it's really not necessary on Wong Jing's part to stir the crowd even more. And as if EEG didn't know that anything that involves Wong Jing is 80% destructive. And as if CLS is the only sorrowful romantic role Gillian can portray as a granted request.

Without the kissing scene, seems like something was missing and it wasn't even a passionate kiss on the cheek either, it was a cute cheek to cheek touch actually. It really seems like Gillian has never kissed before. That was so her first, that close to a guy lol. Aw, Gillian had too many missed opportunities to kiss other hotties like Edison in Moving Targets and Daniel in Beyond Our Ken. If Gillian had really shared an onscreen kiss with Edison, that may have helped with the box office. Now that Edison is focusing in other foreign markets, the chances of watching Edison and Gillian share a screen together have slimmed down. EEG didn't grab the golden opportunity to promote EG, Edison could have accomplished a bit more with his albums and Gillian, well she's already popular without all of the extra promotions anyways.

Whether Twins remain together or not, Gillian will always get the back seat and never the front view like Sa. But we're just all hoping that perhaps with Gillian as a solo artist, less unfair treatment would occur since Gillian wouldn't directly impact Sa's acting career unless EEG plans on promoting Sa into both industries at once or one after another, which is a high possibility knowing how EEG loves to flood all markets with their promotions to immune the public into acceptance. I don't know. I'm scared for Gillian. I actually want to see Gillian in films, once or twice a year but really good memorable roles, enough to satisfy her fans until another rare Gillian film is released while sustaining full time singer slot as well. I love Gillian's voice. Gillian is already an established actress even without all of the beefy roles, she just needs to fulfill her original career, a singer. I give Gillian a 9/10 in acting and 9/10 in singing as well. In acting, all Gillian really needs is a few more challenging and interesting roles. In singing, EEG needs to stop simplifying songs for Gillian and permit her to sing her beautiful vibratos live and expose her hidden talent. After watching Gillian portray a few more different roles and sing a few more challenging solos, Gillian will no doubt elevate to a 10/10 in no time.

True, Gillian was never first in EEG's eyes nor Mani's eyes. It's always Sa, but not really, when Mani wasn't in HK basically everything was fair but after she came back it was bye bye to fairness I think a good role for Gillian is a quite and cute role. Being herself is like that. She's quite often in interviews unless a reporter ask her a question, but if it isn't then Charlene talks. She need a quite role and also later on becomes loud and cute, like Charlene roles.

EG should really have gotten the chance to perform 'How Bad' together. I'll slightly let it go for KG not performing together, even though I love them together, because KG seriously isn't as popular as EG. EG was, and still is, considered to be one of the best pairings. I, too, thought the Miriam+Edison version was quite bad; they didn't synchronize, and they both screwed up with their parts during the song.


The clip is hilarious! Gillian cheating on her 'husband'! Gillian looked so cute with that hat and outfit! It almost makes us ignore the curly hair! The way she spoke her lines was really amusing as well.


Well, KG's duet was one of the plug songs from Kenny's album, MusicK, but it was one of the later plugs that they slipped in after the main plugs, so radio stations usually don't pay much attention to those; therefore, it didn't make much of a high placing. The songs that were actually promoted from his album were Moon Bright Bright and When Two Minds Meet. TVB was actually really generous to KG to let it onto the 7th place on their chart, and then actually wanting to give them 1st place for it, but EEG had to go shoot themselves in the feet by cancelling it; hence, the KG duet was bumped off the charts that week. Then again, EEG rarely promotes duets; it's mainly the Don+Mandy ones that are promoted because they sell themselves as the duet couple.



If we want to go through some self deception, we could say that the serial could bring Gillian some exposure in Mainland, considering all her leading role films have been abolished to screen in Mainland. But then the question that'd be floating up is, why couldn't Gillian have just accepted a film with a script that won't be rejected to screen in Mainland? It may be because HK is Twins' main market and the main place that they have to develop on. Of course, with Charlene being their priority, EEG has to set Charlene out and ready to be a solo artiste while Gillian just has to wait for her own solo development in HK until everything's settled for Charlene. I guess we're close to being fortunate that they actually let Gillian perform in Mainland/Taiwan. It's actually kinda nice that Kenny's Gillian's duet partner now because at least even if KG don't perform their duets together, EEG wouldn't find someone else to replace Gillian with like they did with EG's duet by placing in Miriam and Yumiko, because Kenny's voice rarely synchronizes with anyone else. Joey's voice probably could synchronize with Kenny's, but she wouldn't waste her time of being there just to replace someone who was 'forbidden' to be there.

Gillian's never actually been properly promoted in the acting industry. All those earlier years, she was more or less just placed into a few shots of a film to build up the appearance that she is in a lot of films. Look, I highly doubt that if we add up the screentime of all those cameo roles of Gillian's that we'd even get the length of a regular film. Gillian has just slipped through with a few unplanned breakthrough roles to accumulate her credit in acting. If Gillian actually had a management company that supported her, she would've been a dependable actress for skills and box office because a management company in the right mind would keep pushing their artiste after a breakthrough role along with a recognized nomination. I agree that if Gillian was just fortunate enough, she'll still be able to survive in the music industry after Twins' disband. She may become one of those artistes who just get exposure when they release an album. Hopefully, the market will support her with her singing, and she'll get more exposure from that. I do doubt that Gillian would be able to step foot into acting because it is reserved for Charlene. She'll probably star as some weird guest star role in an EMG film when they need her to promote some newbie.


I'd be the one laughing so hard if the ratings shot up high during the beginning and up until the time of when CLS dies, and as soon as CLS disappears off the screen, which is also when the script takes a downfall, the ratings take a big fall. Seriously, if Gillian wasn't in this serial, would any of us here even hear about this serial, never mind actually watching it? I think a lot of Gillian/Twins fans would say so as well. Wong Jing's serials are more promising than his films, but I still wouldn't that they're really good. You don't know how many criticisms you get if you happen to be starring in a slaughtered up serial that came from a novel. At least Gillian's part in the serial is still filmed normally, and Gillian had her wish of portraying a tragic character fulfilled.


Come to think of it, Gillian has lost many opportunities to having her first on-screen kiss taken from her. There's Edison in 'Moving Targets', Daniel in 'Beyond Our Ken', Stephen in '49 Days' (filmed but not actually shown in film), and I remember reading news saying that Gillian and Nic were going to have a film together, and Gillian's going to give her on-screen kiss to him. It would've been such a big attraction for the film if EG shared a kiss together; imagine the box office then. Then again, I wouldn't really want Gillian to lose her kiss in a film like 'Moving Targets'. Having it be EG is good, but let it be a film with a good storyline first.

Gillian's career would only be more fair if she didn't 'threaten' or 'impact' Charlene's career in any way, but the chances are that the biased issue will never be solved as long as she's still under EEG management, and there's about no chance for Gillian to be leaving EEG either unless she's ready to retire from the entertainment industry. The only thing we could actually hope for is the disbanded Twins could head off to complete different routes, namely Gillian singing and Charlene acting, so that treatment could get better for Gillian. It'll probably be that way because Charlene's established herself too much in the acting industry to be throwing it away to concentrate on singing, and Gillian obviously hasn't been through a lot of promotion in acting yet, and her recent singing skills have appeared to be more superior. Even if they want to invest Charlene in both, EEG should understand that the theory of one thing at a time. If so, they should let Charlene develop in the acting industry first and gain recognition while they develop Gillian in singing. As they both grow steady with what they're doing, then EEG should bring Charlene back to singing, but I doubt they'd let Gillian take a whack at acting again. I don't know; would EEG let them both go on with both ends of their career if they were to disband? Or would it be each concentrating on one thing so that they could earn more money for each individual thing? That was why the disbanding issue surfaced; it's because EEG wanted to make more money. I'd say that if they disband, Gillian and Charlene would have to step aside for each other in each of the industries so that people could actually accept them as solo artistes. Chances, chances are all that Gillian needs to perfect her skills.

wong jing's serial are better than his movies i had already saw two of his serial the first is "eight hero" it feature edison and this serial is a disappointing because the fighting is really bad and they feature edison only about 10 or 12 ep than he die. the second is "proud of twins" it feature nic and dicky cheung. the storyline is good and the fighting is also good and can wait for his next serial "flying fox of snowy mountain".

Guess what you guys! To all the EG fans out there, I just watched a Twins interview that they had in Taiwan, and the hosts asked both of them, "Out of Nicholas Tse, Edison Chen, and Shawn Yue, if they were trying to court you, who would you choose to be your boyfriend?" And Gillian chose Edison! Charlene chose Nicholas because he is in the same company as them, and Gillian chose Edison because he's good looking. And the hosts says that Gillian's face looked very sincere while stating it. And then they asked if Edison was also in their company and Gillian answered that he was.

=D Looks like there's hope for EG! Even if they don't see each other or collaborate with each other, at least we know that Gillian likes Edison the best out of the three.

I love it more than the official music video. It still keeps me wondering, if Twins already fell in love with the same guy once, history will likely repeat itself. Are Twins going to keep playing this sacrificing game until they both really end up with no one but each other lol? I'm glad that both Twins don't share the same taste in men but ironically, both of their rumors have revolved around the same men. I guess the music video does illustrate their reality drama in that, guys like Shawn, Edison, Alex, and Nic were rumored to have special feelings for Gillian whereas Sa had small crushes on them instead. For some reason, I can't imagine Sa sacrificing for Gillian. Perhaps because in the majority of Twins films and music videos, Gillian is always the sacrificial, selfless, and sincere one so it would be odd if the storyline was switched around. Wouldn't it be painfully hilarious if history repeated itself but this time around, the guy fell in love with Sa instead, since Gillian is so used to sacrificing, she leaves alone and paves way for Sa and the guy in a happily ever after fairytale? Somehow, that would be the conclusion if Gillian was the third wheel but in Gillian's triangle, seems like the usual ordeal of, G: I love him. S: I love him too M: I love Gillian. Ending: Twins together forever; kids, remember, friendship is most important. BUT if the tables were turned, S: I love him. G: I love him too. M: I love Sa. Ending: Gillian leaves behind a content smile as she disappears from their lives, Sa and the guy hug each other in appreciation. Hm, so whatever happened to friendship?

That's exactly what I've been implying as well. Gillian's third, THIRD real lead role in BOK already gained a load of recognition, enough to be nominated as Best Actress in a competitive ceremony. The only films that are considered to be Gillian's real work and not just some promotional cameo for the cast is: Happy Go Lucky and If U Care. Sa is proceeding onto her 10th leading role in Diary and she has only won one popularity award YET EEG/Mani still insists in promoting only Sa in the acting industry. Even if Sa won an important nomination or award for her role in Diary that will only come to show how horrible EEG/Mani are towards Gillian for rejecting a role like Abnormal Beauty and accepting a similar role for Sa. Gillian has no films onboard at the moment. Some fans insist us on waiting for further announcements but uh, the cast of films are usually revealed 6 months prior to the official press conference or film shooting. It's already June, Gillian's only film this year will most likely only be the upcoming Twins movie but even then, Gillian is no different from a cameo on the side anyways since the majority of screentime falls to Sa. Absolutely nothing, nothing will convince EEG to promote Gillian in the acting industry because there is only one spot and that spot happens to be Sa's ever since the beginning. The only thing that has kept Gillian in business was her own charm. She outshines the rest of HK actresses at the moment. EMG and Wong Jing needs to reconsider themselves. They really make HK stink.

In terms of films, the HK industry is the most successful industry in the Chinese market so HK is vital towards Sa's future success at present and in the future. In order for Sa to survive the wave of complications after the disbandment of Twins, EEG is really pushing and promoting Sa into establishing a solid ground first, before Gillian, before Twins disband. And trust me, there will be a day when Twins disband before they retire. It's all about the timing that solely relies upon EEG.
True. I wouldn't be interested at all if Gillian wasn't part of the cast. The majority of people discussing about this serial are Gillian fans who are anticipating to watch her first Mainland serial, something different. I wouldn't be surprised either if the ratings began shooting down once CLS dies because at least the story hasn't transformed into a complete turn off yet. I guess the positive thing is: Gillian had an opportunity to portray her tragic role but with the time constraint and rushed production, Gillian wasn't even permitted to perform her best as Ching Ling So so I wouldn't be surprised if complaints about Gillian's unconvincing acting popped up again onscreen. Gillian is a sensitive actress. Gillian needs to engulf a certain character or role for a decent amount of duration, understanding, and depth before successfully portraying it or else the portrayal turns out rigid. Let's just hope, Gillian lost herself as Ching Ling So and did a fabulous portrayal, enough to grab some decent ratings despite all obstacles against the serial.

Yeah, considering that Gillian wasn't even the lead in Moving Targets, the kiss wouldn't have been that special anyways. BOK would have been a good film to lose Gillian's first kiss but then again, Daniel was a jerk in that film so it would have been wasted lol. Since BOK is only Gillian's third real lead role, Gillian still has to wait for another interesting film to float along if EEG doesn't reject the offer first to share her first onscreen kiss on theatres.

Even if Gillian doesn't directly impact Sa in the acting industry if she was to be promoted into a solo singer, for some reason, EEG hates to see Gillian succeed before and ahead of Sa. Gillian can succeed, of course she can BUT under one condition, after Sa. Once a company is biased, they will always be biased. The only solution is for Gillian to GET OUT! Sorry to be blunt Sa fans.

Thanks for the nice compliments. I wish I resided in HK and had an extremely wealthy father who can help break some biased barriers for Gillian and promote her efficiently for once. I have so many interesting ideas just floating around about which characters and roles I want Gillian to portray that I'm running out of music video and movie clips to develop the story. I see a lot of potential in Gillian whether it be in acting or singing. Gillian just really really needs beefy promotions, she already has the talent to help HK pick up its pace. If only the directors or EEG for that matter was much more concerned and passionate about true talent rather than favoritism, HK wouldn't be stuck in the dumpster like this.

So this Taiwan show was recent? Sweet. Edison and Gillian's profound chemistry and relationship can be traced back when they were sweet 16 so I guess it is pretty difficult to completely erase each other out of one another's life. Even without all of the current interactions, dates, or just small meetings, the memories are still very alive. Aww. All this time and EG still haven't lost their sense of connection. I'm so happy. I feel like making another EG video lol. But I have to finish Nuo Zha and Zi Wei's fairytale first and then KG's since I'm still waiting for some clips. And then Gillian and Wilson since I like Wilson; he's cute. I've watched that variety show too, and I was actually quite surprised at both Gill and Charlene's choice, because I thought they would avoid to choose Edison and Nicholas...since they are their respective rumoured boyfriend. (but then again both of them have been rumoured with Shawn before too, so it didn't really matter whom they chose anyway...)
But I actually thought Gillian was going to pick Nic, since she put him in the boyfriend category earlier at that show...

If the series starts out poorly and totally different/wacky compared to the novel, then I don't think even Gillian would be able to save it. Because I believe it'll show the older generation (Wu Fei's parents) first...so Gillian would probably not show up until the later episodes. So if people already lost interest when watching the first few episodes, they'll most likely not continue to watch the series...unless they are a fan of Gillian, Athena, Ady etc.

Wow i haven't replied in this forum in a while. Slight clarification: Gillian did give out her first

onscreen "kiss" to raymond wong ho- yin (who is pretty hot) that was actually put into the movie, Colour of

the Truth. It wasn't a real kiss, it was another one of those peck on the cheek and then run away type of

kiss, but it was pretty cute. i haven't watched the movie in a while but i believe that the kiss was

somewhere in the middle, towards the end of the movie. If you haven't watched Colour of Truth, i highly

recommend that you do. It had a great plot, nice twists, and superb acting (although i'm sorry to say in this

2003 movie, Gillian's acting was not quite developed yet, although you really can't tell because she didn't

have a leading role and had limited parts) that was surprisingly directed/written/produced by none other

than Gillian's "admirer" Wong Jing! (by the way, can't wait for Gillian's serial!) This movie contained a mix of

great actors (Anthony Wong, Raymond Wong, Terence Yin, Patrick Tse also know as Nic Tse's dad, Jordan

Chan, and cameos from Francis Ng and Lau Ching Wan).

I've listened to the songs on Twins' new mando cd and i've got to say that my favorite song is You Are the

Bravest even though I Really Want to Love Him comes in as a close second. As for Gillian and charlene's

solos, they're not exactly impressive, but enjoyable. Well I live close to NY and i was listening to a

Cantonese radio station (CWCB i don't know if anyone knows it) and there's a time when the DJs play new

songs and besides playing Twins' new mando songs once in awhile, today they played Gillian's solo (and NOT

Charlene's even though hers is obviously catchier in tune)! I though i'd just share that tidbit of

information.

Wow, EG seems to be a trend that's everlasting. Even though there's practically nothing going on about EG anymore, EG is still passionately loved all around. The hosts at least did put Edison as one of the choices. Despite all the negative things that Edison causes, he's still a really good partner and friend to Gillian. I guess just as asillysaint said, ties between them just can't be cut because they've known each other for so long even before they entered the showbiz.


Uh huh, sometimes films, serials, and MVs have a tendency of making some spoofs off of reality. In Twins' case, because their rumours, if involving the same guy, usually have the guy liking Gillian while Charlene has a crush on the guy. According to Mani's book, she said that Charlene wasn't amused with these reports about her having crushes on all these guys, so she made complaints to Mani. Mani didn't do much but to say ignore it; she said according to Charlene, Charlene has many people courting her as well. I don't doubt that; with the place of where Twins are, I'm sure both of them must have many people courting them. But I agree of how I can't see Charlene being the one to sacrifice for Gillian if this were to happen the other way around; on appearance, Charlene just seems like the type of girl who knows what she should do; whereas, Gillian looks like the kind who would consider everything and everyone before herself.

That's why I say that unless EEG has close to decent plans for Gillian in terms of singing while they push Charlene all they want into acting, they are going to have a stuffed email inbox filled with complaints. I wish I resided in HK, then perhaps I could do more than that, but for now, I'll do what I can. They should come up with something like, 'Since Charlene is busy filming her film, Gillian will be out promoting the cantonese album as well as her solo ballad all by herself, for the most part anyway.' I'd imagine that the only things that Gillian has this year regarding acting is her serial, which doesn't help with her exposure in HK but may gain her recognition in Mainland, and the Twins film, which won't do her any justice because it'll be all geared towards Charlene. Then she'll probably star in an useless cameo role of an EMG production because they need to use her to promote someone. See, we'd even be relieved if they promoted Gillian into a singing career with a quarter of the pace that they're promoting Charlene in her acting career because they'd at least be doing something to a person who's worth promoting. By the looks of things, it definitely looks like the disbanding of Twins is nearing soon. Charlene's always been pushed and promoted in the acting area with her front seat of everything; after the flop of 'A Chinese Tall Story', I'd say EEG's really depending on 'Diary' to pull off something stunning, and fishing for more chances of recognition for Charlene. Nothing to say for Gillian about that; she's just there to fulfill the title of the upcoming Twins film. Urgh, I really hope EEG does have some plans of Gillian singing after the disbanding of Twins. Oh yeah, the official title of the film is called, 'Let's Steal Together'.

Gillian's "kisses" prior to filming 49 Days were all camera tricks apparently; however, her first camera "kiss" was in her first movie U-Man with Sam Lee - I'm not sure if it was included in the movie but I've seen pics of it...can someone confirm?

You've got a good point there, but there should be some Gillian fans who will be watching just for her, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's going to be more audience during CLS parts. I think Anthony Wong would contribute to some attraction during the first few episodes, so the very beginning should be okay for ratings as well. The part that'd more threatening to the ratings is the part where Anthony Wong's character, Wu Yi Dao, dies off, and it has to take a bit to go further into the plot while they introduce Wu Fei's character, which will be before any of the female leads appear. According to a magazine interview of Gillian's, CLS will only be present for slightly more than half the serial. I've heard that things only start to go downhill after CLS dies, so we can be relieved that we don't have to put up with a stupid plot when trying to watch Gillian; I believe Wong Jing said that the ending portion is the part that will be altered, and we know just how promising that sounds.

You want to know something really wacko? I heard that in this ending, Wu Yi Dao might not be dead because Nie Yuan mentioned on his blog that Anthony Wong had to come back to Mainland to go on the mountains to wrap up the ending, so some fans analyzed that perhaps Wu Yi Dao didn't die because Anthony would've been done everything beforehand, but why was he needed on the mountains when his character already died before the serial involved the mountains?


I really don't think Gillian actually kissed Raymond on the cheek during that film. I thought it was quite obvious that she just moved in closer to him, and with the camera being placed far away and shooting in at Raymond's side, we didn't actually see the kiss happening in the audience's view, so I'd say she didn't kiss him. If she did, then they wouldn't be making such a big fuss about Gillian kissing Stephen on the cheek in HK. But regardless, I do agree that it was a great film, despite Gillian's limited screentime. This film is a rare exception of Wong Jing's typical rubbish films.

WAAAA!!!!!! You guys don't believe it! Kenny and Gillian did perform 'Conscience Discovery' together live during the mini concert!!!!!! I guess after so many disappointments, we finally get consoled with a KG live performance! I think the concert will be aired on TV because it was produced for TVB8, the mandarin sub-channel of TVB's. I really want to see it!! Kenny also sang 'Goodbye, MeiWei' and a mandarin song called, 'Fly Away'.
