People barely know about Dennis and William, and I'd say anyone who is aware of who Kenny is would know Steven as well. Well, the new Boy'Z CD is actually in production since Steven confirmed it himself, and he took a photo of himself when he was in the recording studio; he said that it'll be out in July. Seriously, if Kenny was able to go solo, so could Steven. Instead, Steven is now being dragged down and behind in the so-called Boy'Z because he isn't a favoured one. Hopefully, Steven will just be there to pull Dennis and William up into the market, and he can then take an exit to being a solo artiste after the debut CD of the new Boy'Z. Highly doubt it'd happen, for all we know, Steven could be stuck in that group forever. Steven's solo song should at least be featured in the Boy'Z CD if that was the case. I don't think anyone would be complaining about Steven having a solo song in the CD because he obviously is the senior of the group. Having it in Isabella's CD is just luring Steven's fans to buy her CD. Fans from Steven's forum have already expressed that they will buy Isabella's upcoming CD because of the film and solo song featuring Steven.

I loved the parts of when Zhi Mei was speaking through the song! It felt so heartbreaking. The music and lyrics fitted really well with Zhi Mei's begging of her godfather to not make her eat the love eraser. I like the happy ending instead of how the serial just leaving their relationship out. Zhi Mei was able to speak Na Zha's name out later in the serial without even twitching an eyebrow when all that happened between them. Serials usually don't leave it so that the love eraser actually works; there's always a way to cure it in serials, but Zhi Mei and Na Zha were an exception. At least your MV fixed that part up!

This is actually make more sence. In the serial if they make Gillian character eat the love eraser why don't they just do the same for charlene character. If the director of that serial follow ur idea, i think it would be even better because i find it kind stuied. Can't wait for your next mv.

Hopefully, this upcoming Boy'z album will be Steven's last one as William enters to replace Steven. I hope the reason why Steven is still part of Boy'z is like you said, to help expose Dennis and William, enough so Steven can finally begin his solo career as well. Hm, perhaps EEG is considering granting Steven a solo career thus the solo song? I mean, solo songs are such a huge deal for groups and pairs that in order for solos to be recorded, there's always a catch to it.

Perhaps Steven will pair up with Isabella after the second disbandment of Boy'z and Kenny will return next to Gillian's side as Twins also split up as well in the near future? That's why EEG is planning a lot of Steven+Isabella and Kenny+Gillian interactions. I mean, it was such a surprise when EEG finally allowed KG to perform their duet live and now Steven's solo is featured into Isabella's album.

Twins fans are fine with Gillian and Sa having their own solos but as long as they're under the label Twins right? So why if Gillian diverged into releasing her own solo album but can still unite with Sa, who would be concentrating solely in films, later on? Well, I believe that the serial didn't dwell upon the relationship between Na Zha and Zhi Mei is because their cute pair would have eventually stolen the spotlight from the Monkey King and Zhi Lan's love. I mean, this was supposedly the Monkey King's story right? I remember when it was first released, the only pair fans were cheering and anticipating on was Na Zha and Zhi Mei. When their love was erased, so many fans kept waiting till the very end just for a revival of their love but unfortunately, it never happened. The Monkey King and Zhi Lan was a cute couple as well but odd match. Both Jimmy and Gillian looked super cute together and so many people are still complaining about their sad underdeveloped ending everytime this serial is mentioned. I mean, with such limited scenes, Na Zha and Zhi Mei had already gained so much support, think about prolonging their relationship like the Monkey King and Zhi Lan's, what would happen? Wouldn't Na Zha and Zhi Mei have to produce their own serial as well?

I wonder why as well? I guess they wanted the Monkey King and Zhi Lan to endure more sympathy points so the love eraser was only Zhi Mei's solution.

Yeah, then after Steven leaves to begin his solo career, William and Dennis can just change the group name and become a male duo of EEG. EEG needs some more male solo artistes anyway; Kenny's practically the only male artiste of EEG who is truly active at the moment. Nic is on his break from music, Deep hasn't recovered from his big fall of the drug incident, and Don's career pretty much only works when paired with Mandy. Perhaps EEG does realize that there is still a certain amount of demand for Steven, like his solo invitation earlier. They may consider granting him a solo career opportunity because they see that some sponsorships don't want all three members of Boy'Z there but just Steven. No kidding; solo songs usually are signs for groups. Remember how Kenny's 'Red Eye Coliseum' was brought into the picture, and eventually he went solo? Hopefully, Steven's solo will be catchy enough to put an impact on EEG's decisions.

I hope it's true that Steven+Isabella and Kenny+Gillian will soon become the pairings of EEG. Steven and Isabella seem like a better pair than Kenny and Isabella anyways; the age gap is smaller. Steven's only three to four years older than Isabella while Kenny's older by seven years; age differences mean a lot to me. As much as Gillian's facial features can pass her of being younger than Steven, she's still older than him; therefore, I can't imagine SG going on. The KG interactions are truly surprises and bonuses; I didn't even expect KG to have anything to do with each other after Kenny went solo. Steven and Isabella is a pairing that I haven't noticed before since it had been Boy'Z+Isabella or just Kenny+Isabella during functions that Twins didn't attend. Even though there are so many plans of Steven+Isabella, Isabella hasn't cut her strings with Kenny yet. Isabella had a duet with Kenny recently, but she has two films together with Steven: the one attached with her CD and another official film that is just about completed. It actually seems like Isabella's rotating back and forth with Kenny and Steven rather than it switching to Kenny+Gillian and Steven + Isabella. Let's just hope it's the usual EG being slow for their progress with KG like they do for everything else about Gillian. I really hope that Gillian and Kenny do reunite as an official pairing of EEG!! I'd say KG should get another duet together that's actually promoted to promote their pairing again, and perhaps 'Little Sparks' should be put back into production.

Yeah, I wonder how those fans would react if Twins never officially 'split' but really do do separate things all the way through and reunite once in a while? They can't penalize anyone for anything since Twins didn't split, but Gillian is just going to release her own solo album, which allows her to compete for the female singer award, and Charlene will just take further steps in acting as she's always been doing. Then once in a while, we'll have a Twins song and a Twins film. Obviously there's no point in always sticking together if they're being limited by each other; a partial splitting is almost definitely a good thing. We know that Gillian has always done better singing solo because she only has to care for herself on-stage when she's alone while Charlene's always been a freelance actress anyway.


I remember that I was one of those people as well; I kept looking out for Zhi Mei or Na Zha to eventually pop up on the screen through the serial to initiate on finishing up their love story, but it never did happen. I was so certain that their love could be revived somehow along the serial, but Zhi Mei and Na Zha just more or less became side characters to help keep the plot going, and nothing else was mentioned of their personal love story. Their story felt so incomplete; the feeling was simply like, 'It's not done yet!'. I still feel that Monkey King and Zhi Lan's love story was a little weird because Monkey King is supposed to be a monk, yet at the end of the serial he said he wanted to marry Zhi Lan? I also don't see how Zhi Lan appearedinfront of the Monkey King near the end because she was already supposed to be dead. She was dead from the moment she exploded her shield inside the stomach of that demon, so logically speaking she couldn't have appeared to say all that stuff to the Monkey King and use magic to make a replica of herself before she 'officially' died off? I guess that's just the scriptwriter's way of trying to make the story between the Monkey King and Zhi Lan more touching by letting Zhi Lan speak her last words to the Monkey King in person.

I didn't realize this MV features Jimmy and Gillian until I remember Na Zha is close to the Vietnamese name. Nice job on the MV, better ending than the actual serial. I didn't understand why they even put their love story into the plot since it didn't last or make an impact on the serial. I guess the director didn't want their love story to be 'true love' since he wiped their memories and they never regained it, like other couples usually do. There was limited scenes between them, but none the less I still love JG.

That is one of the reason why the selling is getting so low. All twins, Gillian and charlene fans know eeg going to make a 2nd or even a 3th version of the CD. And also there aren't many good songs on the CD and two repeat songs.

Yeah, EEG doesn't have too many great artists in general actually so that's probably why EEG may consider disbanding Boy'z and Twins altogether to create two new artists, a male and female to help their business in the music industry. EEG is probably taking the short cut path and promoting two artists that have already been exposed to the ET industry but not a solo music career yet. When Steven goes solo, his music genre will probably be different from Kenny's and sell a different direction. I'm curious as to which genre Gillian will fall into.

I guess, Isabella is still clinging onto Kenny in the music industry is because her popularity and acceptance as a singer is still at stake, she needs Kenny fans to help support her but ironically, Isabella has been creating negative tension against her for always leeching off Kenny. Plus Kenny is the only available male candidate anyway and his true partner, Gillian, hasn't made an entrance so in the meantime, Isabella has to depend on Kenny for exposure in the music industry while leaning on Steven for exposure in the acting industry.

Before Mani/EEG even begins to make major changes to their artists and company, they have a checklist that needs to be fulfilled first.

1. Isabella is an extremely important artist to Mani/EEG, they have to make sure that Isabella can survive in both industries before allowing her to explore by herself without Kenny or Steven so Kenny and Steven sort of works as Isabella's Twin lol.
2. Sa needs to establish herself a solid home in the acting industry before and ahead of Gillian so that Twins' disbandment won't affect her acting career.

Perhaps then, the real game will begin.

Kenny and Gillian may have plenty of duets and collaborations in the future, we just have to be patient but let's not get our hopes too high either, EEG/Mani loves to mislead fans and crush their hope especially Gillian fans.

A temporary split between Twins is fine, they just have to explain that personally to the fans and media but once that announcement is over, fans will be quite relieved since both Twins aren't splitting, they're just basically doing their own solo projects for the time being but will reunite occasionally for a Twins album/film. By then, each fanbase can't compare nor complain because both Twins are concentrating in a completely different industry but let's see if the promotions are balanced.

Me too lol. I kept waiting and waiting but nothing bloomed between Na Zha and Zhi Mei anymore. I thought the outer-space creature was the most hilarious and ridiculous thing ever, an extremely fake computer animated 3D shape that didn't have much coordination either whahahah! Deaths are supposed to be memorable, Zhi Lan's was horribly funny, she basically was trapped and exploded in the stomach of that demon. Well, if the Monkey King who is a monk actually fell in love again as a Monkey, Zhi Lan's goddess magical ghost thing that returned just to say goodbye to the Monkey King isn't too much of a surprise. Everything was so twisted in this version. I guess, to make everything appear beautiful and sad, everyone had a forbidden love.

Even though Na Zha and Zhi Mei's love story wasn't such a huge impact on the overall serial but their story was refreshing and new, an escape from the overly comedic elements of the Monkey King and his crew. Out from all of the forbidden love stories featured in the Monkey King serials, Na Zha and Zhi Mei's love story ranks one of the highest despite such short duration in establishing their love relationship.

But this album has better sales results than Trainee Cupid? Trainee Cupid sold 800,000 copies whereas Around the World with 80 Dollars has already sold 1 million copies. Or are the numbers inaccurate or exaggerated? I guess, the majority of sales are from Mainland because I know that I order everything from Yesasia and I'm waiting on my second version. Plus, songs in this album aren't too flattering; let's see, the only songs that highlight this album are the two ballads, Around the World with 80 Dollars, and Gillian's solo.

I think Gillian will song the same genre as Joey. That's the type of singing that can release her potential in the music industry. Since Isabella get all these negatine tension aginst her eeg/mani should just replace her with other male artists like Deep for sometime then pair her with Kenny again. There's no way Isabella can survive in both industries, she can either concentrate on singing more or vice verse. Perhaps many of the sales were made in Mainland? Because as asillysaint said, wasn't there news saying that there were a million copies of 'Around The World With Eighty Dollars' sold already, which is a larger amount than 'Trainee Cupid'? I was surprised that it fell off top ten so fast on Yesasia because Twins' albums usually stay for weeks on the top list. It wouldn't be a surprise if fans were trying to outsmart EEG by waiting for the second version to come out so that they don't waste their money on buying two identical CDs except one has a few MVs with it. The other factor could be that Twins have picked a pretty bad time to be releasing their album because it's clashing with Jolin Tsai's album.


Yeah, splitting up the bands is an easy way around for EEG since they don't have to work from scratch with those members. Solo artistes can simply strive for things further than what groups can do. Twins have been a great exception in most cases, but they still can't get female singer awards and other solo artiste awards. Just having Joey isn't going to help them enough since she's just going to be criticized like crazy about how she's always getting the award even when she deserves it, and it's going to take a bit before Vincy makes her way up there; whereas, Gillian and Charlene are still tied down from getting those because of Twins. Why hold Gillian, Charlene, and Steven back when they can obviously spread their wings and fly on separately? Steven may like to stick near some faster and more upbeat songs since he's been known for his rapping even back in Boy'Z, but then Steven does sound quite nice in ballads as well such as 'Skip Grade Student'. For the rare moments, Steven was actually leading in a ballad. But if Steven goes solo, ballads wouldn't really become his main thing since it's more or less reserved for Kenny. As for Gillian, I actually hope that she doesn't fall into a specific genre. We know that she has a quite versatile voice and is capable of many different genres, so we wouldn't want to limit her on her genre. But perhaps Gillian will need to decide on something specific as she makes her debut so her image sticks around while she can go on exploring what she can do after she establishes herself as a singer. I wonder what Gillian's image will be if she does go solo. I'm more than sure that Gillian wouldn't be sticking around to be wearing school uniforms nor be dwelling around of being youthful.

I suppose that may be that case since EEG seems to be eager of helping Isabella survive in both industries. EEG's plan with Kenny+Isabella isn't working too well, I agree. No kidding, EEG is simply unpredictable. We never know their next move, nor do we understand their moves when we know about it. I just hope we're somewhat close to what they're planning to do with Gillian and Steven. I do hope hard for the Kenny+Gillian pairing to make a comeback, and more collaborations and duets between them to come. Kenny and Gillian should collaborate on another duet, and have it plugged before the album comes out along with a decent amount of promotion, like live performances during shows and functions, and it'd have way better results unlike their last duet, which was plugged a few months after the album was released, along with one live performance which happened way long after the song fell from the charts due to the lack of promotion.

What? They just stand around and sing the song in the MV? That's very disappointing from what I anticipated. I heard from someone that the MV was supposed to take place at that harbour that Gillian spoke of at the end of the MV of 'I Really Want To Love Him'. Geez, a disappointment there. I thought mandarin MVs had better quality.

I absolutely cannot wait for Gillian's ballad. I guess, this upcoming Cantonese ballad will determine if Gillian's voice suits a solo album of all ballads except one or two fast songs like Kenny's albums or not. I agree. Gillian's voice is quite versatile and this is just the beginning, imagine how flexible Gillian's vocals will grow and mature after a few challenging songs. Hopefully, Gillian does every genre: rock, pop, alternative, soft rock, pop rock, and English songs too, you name it! I mean, why not? Gillian has excellent pronunciation, she should sing a few English ballads for her international fans like me. I would love to see Gillian wear something daring, completely change her image but not too bold though or else people would become distracted and criticize her albums as selling beauty instead of music, which isn't always the case. I mean, can't a singer look pretty and talented at the same? Hm, it's not like all singers are unappealing. Oh yeah, I forgot, Gillian's too beautiful, people can't accept the fact that she broke the label and cliche of how pretty people are nothing but talentless eye candy.

I know. EEG should really look into their market strategies, so far, they've been making some risky moves. Conscious Discovery was quite a nice and popular song, even without all of the extra promotions, it was EEG's loss for not investing enough to keep the duet fresh on people's minds.

Perhaps they did film the music video at that location but there isn't a storyline to it, just Twins singing together. I know. This album has been quite a disappointment so far; well, except for four songs of the album but the music videos are not the best.

Gillian has as much potential as Joey but Gillian's obligation to the simplified songs of Twins are what has been stalling Gillian.

As for Sa, that's why EEG permitted her to accept a similar suspense/horror role to Gillian's previous hits like Beyond Our Ken and 49 Days. EEG just loves to duplicate whatever that has gained success, so original huh?

Not to be mean but comedy isn't such a simple portrayal. The majority of today's comedic films have done nothing but killed the meaning of comedy. Stephen Chow is the best, King of Comedy but even his most recent films have been disappointing.

It'd be great if Gillian can do every genre; I especially anticipate on her singing an english song! With Gillian's vocals, I don't think she does have settle for an album with all ballads but a one or two fast songs as Kenny's album usually consists of. After some good hard training, Gillian's vocals will definitely mature to be something more what she's got right now. Yeah, EEG's gotta think twice of the things they do. 'Conscience Discovery' was a loss right there because it had the potential to compete for a duet award, but due to those satisfactory results, it doesn't quite stand a chance with Alex and Stephy's 'Very Love' at all. Alex and Stephy's duet was promoted a lot, live performances and their film together to promote it. EEG should take a look into that.

I just read the news, and it said that EEG is planning for a new female duo to come out sometime this year. Doesn't that really trigger what we've been talking about? See, if Twins were still going on in the race, EEG wouldn't be starting up another female duo, would they? Rarely do record companies have more than one group under their management unless the two groups are female and male, like with Twins and Boy'Z. EEG wouldn't even need another female duo with Twins under their management. But the whole scenery would be different if Twins were going to step down and split into solo artistes because then there would be a reason for EEG to set up another female group to run for the group award. EEG probably just wants to prove that they can make another legend happen with a female duo after Twins. Anyway, EEG is at it again with their 'originality'. The two members consist of a Cecilia Cheung lookalike and a Gigi Lai lookalike. It again proves the point of how Kenny is the guy for every female in EEG; he just mentioned on the news that they sang a duet with him earlier. Hey, where's my KG duet/collaboration?

i've just watched some ET news on TV and there was this Twins attending something to promote something (i told u my chinese is bad) and fans were called on stage to scribble on the enlarged photos of gill and sa (individual close up shots) and they were suppose to rub off the stains afterwards but gill's would not come off no matter how hard they rubbed whereas charlene's was squeeky clean.then twins explained that there were errors: the fans who drew on gill's photo used permanent ink instead of the white board marker ink they were supposed to use... poor gill! she looked quite dissapointed.

Around the World with 80 Dollars hasn't been the most promising album with everything. I was really anticipating on another final high quality music video for this ballad as well since there are technically only two ballads in the album but like always, we're disappointed. If the crew already slacked off in this music video, Gillian's solo music video may not even exist and even if it did for Karaoke purposes, just the same old EEG cheap stuff of pasting clips here and there of Twins on tour/promotions. Seems like EEG is really neglecting to invest in Twins further.

Were the markers provided for those fans? Man, someone did purposely screw things up for Gillian. Uh, duh! I'm pretty sure those fans were old enough to read the labels and distinctly tell the difference between permanent markers and erasable markers. And if it was the crew that provided those markers, someone must have sneaked some permanent markers just for Gillian because surely, Sa didn't get any permanent marks on her face. Seems like those dumb fans are on a roll! I guess, they must be pretty proud of themselves now for making Gillian feel miserably humiliated. Yeah, and that's what they call supporting both Twins huh? For some reason, the ordeal of supporting both Twins isn't ruined by Gillian fans but instead, those Sa fans and they officially let Gillian personally know too that they only support Sa and not Gillian. Boy, what a backfired ideal.

Yeah, me too. When the news came out that Twins had already sold 1 million copies, it was sort of a surprise. Just from observing, the Mandarin market is highly competitive and fast paced, people seem to have moved on right along and aren't as interested in Twins as last year, their first Mandarin album. Could that be why EEG hasn't been investing in this album like they should due to the results? The World Tour is just something EEG wants to milk more money while the iron is still hot because if EEG had to exaggerate the sales, this album perhaps didn't meet EEG's expectations and could likely be Twins' last Mandarin album. Hypothetically, that is.

Exactly. No company would want two groups that are so similar in format to be out at the same time unless there are going to be big changes. EEG would be plain dumb if the pair they want to work is Gillian and Charlene because there'd be no point in establishing a new group; they obviously wouldn't want Gillian and Charlene to fade, Gillian for financial reasons, and Charlene, we obviously know why. The reasonable explaination is Gillian and Charlene going off into solo careers. It may be that EEG tries to build up this group with Gladys Fung and Kathy Yuen during this year while Twins bring the group award home once more. As EEG doesn't have to lose the group award, Gillian and Charlene will be free to go off to something more in their career; well, that is if EEG is able to establish a brand new female duo that is successful, but I suppose if they made Twins so popular, then they should have the power to do it again. I agree about the duet between Kenny and this group. It's a bit risky there because of Kenny's type of voice, but I guess that's what happens when he's the only guy around who's available. I hope the three voices don't sound that out of place, and I suppose the duet of Isabella and Kenny will be going towards Isabella's album since Kenny has this duet with him? Or will this duet belong with the new duo? Since they probably need the song more than Kenny does.

I watched the MV for 'You Are The Bravest', and I am disappointed as well. There is no storyline; it showed Twins sitting, standing, and singing. They also used a few clips from when they were working in the MV as well. Another thing that was disappointing as usual was the camera angles and the screentime. During Charlene's solo verses, the scenes would mostly focus on her with close up shots to her, etc. <--- Reasonable. During Gillian's solo verses, the scenes will still focus on Charlene up close with Gillian sitting in the back singing with mostly far shots and limited close up shots. <--- Unreasonable. Does 'You Are The Bravest' actually illustrate a friendship? I thought it illustrated a romance? From how the MV was filmed, it seemed like it was talking about friends, and it probably is. Gillian's eyes sent such a depressing message; her facial expressions were heartbreaking. Take a look at the MV for Gillian's performance, but you just have to strain a bit to look at her sitting in the back, but it's noticeable. EEG's been slacking off on their investments in Twins ever since the starting of this year. There aren't any high quality MVs anymore, and it does seem like they didn't promote this second mandarin album much either.


I wonder if EEG is still dumb enough to be trying to milk money out of fans now? I just read about the 2nd version of 'Around The World With 80 Dollars', and it only contains two MVs. Where's the other two? They're going to be bombing themselves if they're going to save it for a third version. The second version is already a rip-off; it only has two MVs, four postcards, and a card pouch. I wonder where 'Youthfulness, Goodbye' went? Taiwan's market is definitely different and much more fast paced than HK's. They can be releasing all these versions of the album, even if the album didn't have very high of quality still get good results. Their cantonese albums are more popular to their fans as well. Even HK people criticize of Twins' mandarin, and HK people in general don't speak it that well either. The World Tour, it does have the ability to milk more money since it's being held all around, and the fans outside of HK don't get to see them very often. It may possibly be the last one that Twins will hold.

I'm not that mad about it. Whether it was an accident or not, it won't affect how supportive fans are toward Gillian. If it was deliberate, then good for the people who did them, whoopeedo. This is not even the first time they make more than one version for certain albums. If some fans still would buy version after version, fall into eeg money trap. They sure have waste alot of money. The magic seems to only work once, I doubt EEG will be successful at a second version of Twins. But I do hope that both current Twins can grow individually and become something more spectacular than Twins, solo. I mean, the label Twins can't shelter them forever. Hm, but who knows, EEG loves to promote their artists in pairs and groups, Twins might stick together to cushion the new pair until the new pair is strong enough to stand on their own feet before disbanding but that obviously didn't work for Boy'z so the chances of the new pair working is slim as well.

I just watched the video. You're right on target. The music video was quite nicely done though, the color was light and breezy, perfect climate but the scenes were so . Gillian's scenes were so limited. I love the song but the music video ruined it for me. Nonetheless, I did enjoy the short Gillian scenes though. Gillian was absolutely stunning, her voice and priceless facial expressions definitely conveyed the heartbreaking emotions so well. My heart was tugged by Gillian's sorrowful voice and beauty especially when so many horrible things have been happening to Gillian, I felt even worse watching her sad emotions flow out of the screen. Gillian would make such a beautiful Winter Queen, like Stephy's music video. Why can't EEG invest into Twins' music videos anymore? Gillian looks great from the side and full face view. The candid flashbacks and behind the scenes were really nice; their fainted presence made the music video extra special.

And what is up with this whole Twins together ordeal? Like, Twins are savoring every moment with each other before something big happens or whatnot. They're clinging onto each other much more than usual like someone is about to leave.

I really don't understand EEG at all. If they're planning on releasing more than one version, they may as well invest a bit more in the songs and music videos to make them worth while. Releasing so many versions with such little extra features is completely pasting Twins onto a horrible image.

Yeah, perhaps after all these years, EEG decides to grant every fan's wish, the World Tour, as a final fulfillment before Twins elevate into the next level of entertainment, solo that is? I mean, why all of a sudden, a world tour? At the brink of breakup too accordingly to the previous pieces of news. Yeah, Twins have released two Mandarin albums already which does logically give them more room and fans to perform live worldwide for but everything just seems fishy. Here's another clearer version of Gillian singing I Really Want to Love Him. Both Twins sound really nice. Gillian was singing with a lot of energy so that the roaring crowd can hear lol. I'm so proud, Gillian hit every high and standard note beautifully. This clip has Gillian singing the chorus twice. So lovely I may add. Sa had a bit of struggle in her high notes; Gillian was sensational. Hm, after listening to this song so many times now, I've noticed, the reason why Sa delivered her last chorus using the nearly cracking voice tone is because Sa will run out of breath if she sang the lyrics altogether like Gillian's chorus. That is the most emotional part of the song so a lot of energy is needed to portray the emotions, with more emotions, Sa needs to take a breathing break in between the lyrics without the risk of cracking. Gillian has a better control of her respiration, Gillian's gulps of breath aren't as audible and Gillian can sing for a while before taking deep visible breaths. Gillian's live performance is so much more emotional and powerful than the CD version.

Aww...this is such a sweet MV!! Now I want to rewatch the serial!! Brings back memories. I was pretty disappointed too when they didn't revive the love between Jimmy and Gillian. I was thinking it's probably because the love story between Gillian and Jimmy is too popular and the director doesn't want that to cover up the "main" love story of Dicky and Charlene....but it's already written before getting film, that can't happen



The guy is so cute..lolx...I'm still a little disappointed that they didn't put this scene it. Gillian already had so much "false" on-screen kisses, so it's no difference. It's just going to make the fans restless and when Gillian really does a kiss scene, we would probably think that it's another false alarm because of the continuous disappointments...not good at all...



So sad...I can't believe how these fans are getting...so out of control but of course, only if it's planned by these particular fans.. But even if it's the companies fault for having two types of markers, wouldn't there be a possibility that one of the persons that drew on Charlene's picture would have picked an permanent marker.... "Remakes" are usually not as popular as the orignal ones, so I wonder if this new group will be well accepted. Unless they are better than Twins, it's unlikely that they would be well accepted when the audiences are starting to look for talents more than just pretty faces....

I quite like the beginning "pictures" or scenes (?) and the color but yea, the screentime is really hard to ignore.... I love Gillian's pained expressions too and even though, there's limited close up scenes and mostly far shots (can't even see her hair! because of Charlene's head) the expressions are so easily detected but what I don't get is how Charlene looked like she was smiling mildly when Gillian had such heartbreaking expressions Charlene seemed like she was a high school girl in her own fantasy world, being in love... Was the song supposed to be like Charlene's narration or Gillian's...cause I find it really weird or am I the only one interpreting her expressions wrongly

That is exactly why Gillian should get a sorrow role. That way, she can portray that in more emphasis on-screen. She was able to show her emotion so well in her limited scenes, just like what she can do in some scenes with depth. I didn't like the distribution of the scenes, but seeing Gillian's portrayal was a great highlight. It was just so sad, and she really made me feel for her.

EEG probably isn't investing in Twins' MVs anymore for two reasons. It's either they're slacking off on them since they're already established in the ET industry and concentrating on other artistes instead, or they dont' want people looking forward to Twins' projects so much right now and preserving the high quality stuff for their later solo careers.

I think that is the theme of the song. 'I'll be waiting for you to come back', the last line of the song, so possibly one of them's supposedly leaving to go out to the world, and the other will be promising to wait for her to come back.

No kidding. It just makes it appear so suspicious, as if it's a farewell activity. Go around to seeing all of their fans around the world before they split into their own paths? It makes it look like this big wrap up on things for Twins altogether.

Wow! Thanks for the clip! Gillian did very well in this performance. She was loud, and her voice was strong. She delivered high notes in great control. I guess Gillian has made improvements since she recorded that CD version? She really is evolving into a professional singer!!!! Charlene did sound like she had a few struggles with her verse. She's always known what's best for her during performances, so it's not surprising that the reason Charlene uses that technique is because she can't hold enough breath for the whole portion.

Remakes definitely won't be as popular as the original. Seeing how Twins are so popular, it'd be hard for them to surpass Gillian and Charlene. I'd say it's just EEG being egotistical and thinking that if they can make one legend happen, they can make another. But knowing EEG, even if these girls aren't well-accepted in the market, they will put their money power in to make them work just to prove that they know what they're doing.

Well, we've all known that groups all do split up eventually. It's just that people somehow take Twins as an exception. The general public feel that they might not be able to survive alone while actual fans know that Twins are actually interdependent on each other, so they may not want the split. It just really feels like Twins' split is coming nearer and nearer, and it can't be avoided. It may not be an actual bad thing, but the main thing we're worried about is Gillian's promotion. Is she going to be neglected of her abilities and talents? Or is EEG going to smarten up?


I was a bit confused about the difference in expressions the first time I saw the video, but then I got a new interpretation. I believe the song is illustrating Gillian's character who is watching Charlene's character leave, and she is promising to wait for Charlene to come out; whereas, Charlene's character is the character that the song is dedicated to. She is the person who is going out to see the world, so I think that explains her little mild smile because she wants to go out and explore while Gillian is sad because her friend is leaving her, but she will patiently wait for Charlene's return.

I agree that there are already many hints that Twins are splitting. but splitting isn't really a bad thing. i mean it will be worst for gillian and yet better for gillian. <i don't know how to put that in words. Twins are singing the themesong for a famous Japanese Anime 'Futari Wa Pretty Cure', so they're filming a MV for the song. Apparently, the anime features two girls which have personalities that correspond to Gillian's and Charlene's personalities. Gillian represents the Snow Angel, 'Cure White', 雪城乃香 (Suet Sing Na Heung) while Charlene represents the Dark Angel, 'Cure Black', 美墨莎莎 (Mei Mak Sa Sa). Gillian's character is a perfect and sensible girl who gets high marks, known as the 'Knowledge Queen'; she's also the dream girl of all the guys around. Charlene's character is an athletic girl who dislikes learning, but she's very active. She's the goal of many other girls, but she actually dreams of dating the most. They each received a creature, Sa Sa with 美波, and Na Heung with 米波. These creatures can tranform them into Pretty Cure to fight the dark forces.

I agree. There is no way that Gillian can remain unaffected by those insults. This is why I think she's still wearing long sleeved clothing in June, when it is pretty hot in HK, because people are constantly calling her fat/chubby. Even before the serial's release, during filming, Gillian and Jimmy's chemistry was already overwhelming with cuteness; their pair was already predicted to be a decent hit; that's why crew members were teasing Gillian and Jimmy about each other. That's probably why the serial didn't give Na Zha and Zhi Mei's love story more room to develop or else it would be pretty tough for the Monkey King and Zhi Lan's story to bloom as beautifully as the producers had expected.
Gillian is absolutely great at portraying sorrowful roles. She was quite convincing when Ken broke up with her in Beyond Our Ken, seemed like Gillian had lost her hope and will to live, she was just roaming around in desperation, sorrow, and insanity. That was remarkable, no wonder why Gillian was nominated for that role. She did an awesome portrayal. In relation to this music video, Gillian reintroduces the audience at how convincing she is at tears and heartaching roles since we haven't see her in films lately, even the short amount of duration isn't enough to limit the sorrow that touches each viewer. Gillian's scenes are sadly short and simple but MOST memorable and powerful.

Yeah. That last line is my favorite. Seems like Twins in reality may follow this sad storyline afterall? If Twins come to America, hopefully it won't be the last of Gillian, at least in the music industry.

Gillian has been doing such wonderful live performances in regards to this album, I really want to watch Gillian perform her solo since it's quite popular! When you listen to Gillian's solo, because Gillian makes all of the high notes sound so standard, when you actually think the solo is simple enough to sing along, the notes actually catch your cracking voice because the solo isn't as simple as it may appear and the notes are quite high lol.

I agree, Gillian is a sensitve person. She can't just rub things off so easily. If anything, Gillian is the softest and most sentimental person out of EEG; that's why Gillian is always so tearful. Sa fans have obviously moved a step ahead of Gillian fans who still remain quite loyal to Twins as a whole by already launching their very own plots and actions against our dear Gillian in support of Sa. It's about time Gillian gets her break. Nothing has ever been fair for Gillian in Twins. Even the freakin commercials are horribly and unfairly distributed. The music video is about one or the other leaving to pursue her dreams leaving the other one behind. Like Little_Purple_Bell explained, Sa is the one full of dreams to catch so she's smiling whereas Gillian will be losing a good friend so she's in tears. Oh my, thanks so much for the extremely gorgeous photos of Gillian. Gillian is beauty overload. Gillian looks more like a doll now. Barbie would just have to step down from the crown, now that Gillian has entered the beauty pageant lol. Eh, why does Sa's postures always have to cover Gillian one way or another? Gillian's song is hard, seriously. It sounds all simple but um, all I have to say is: now I understand why the crew chose this particular song as Gillian's solo, it's not as simple as we may believe it to be. Gillian's solo is quite unique and challenging to a certain extent, I must say, I applaud Gillian for singing so beautifully in quite a tough song.

Hm, I guess, the whole anime ordeal is popular at the moment. Even Rainie and some Mainland actresses are portraying Anime characters, which does expose them to a new audience, I suppose.

Hm, I guess you're right. Sa doesn't match dark colors unless it's much more of a formal dress or outfit than this. Sa looks better and more refreshing with lighter colors.

I want Gillian's hair to turn blue like the little doll she's holding, that would be awesome. Blue hair would absolutely match her blue ribbons and colors on her outfit. I think Gillian looks really pretty and cute. Actually, I think I'm just super happy that Gillian has straight hair. Gillian's character has blue hair, not black. I say, Gillian go for blue<3!

I know. The filming for the serial has already finished 1-2 months ago so we'll get to watch this serial by the end of this year for sure.

DBSK<3! They are a hot group but a bit too young though. I love Hero but sadly, he says he only likes Korean girls in one of his interviews. They have great songs and cute outfits though.

*Attention* Please tune in on this duet of Alan Luo and Gillian Chung: Lian Ai De Ren. It originally is a hot duet between Alan and Xiao S but I guess Gillian replaced Xiao S for a game on Alan's gameshow.

One word: HOT! Alan sounds great. Gillian sounds amazing! I'm so speechless. All I have to say is, Gillian definitely should have been the lady next to Alan that one concert in place of Rainie because Gillian totally kicked Rainie's butt in this duet. (No offense to Rainie, I'm also a Rainie fan as well.) This is Gillian's first time too and she already perfected her part of the song. I am totally loving this duet. The only sad thing about this is, the audio clip was too short. I wanted to hear Gillian sing the entire song, the chorus and climax, that would have been incredible. I love how Gillian deepens her voice resembling Xiao S's to sing so beautifully. Rainie is a nice singer but her voice is too fragile, it doesn't collaborate well with Alan's, in this song at least. If you listen, Alan and Gillian's voices blended in so well and this is only for fun? Man, if Alan and Gillian were to seriously collaborate, how wonderful that would be? Oh, I'm so L.O.V.E.ing it now! I love how Gillian says that: L.O.V.E.

Yes I'm loving this short 1:12 audio clip too! Gillian and Alan? sounds really nice together. Their voices mix in together! What was his gameshow that Twins was on??? Anyone have pictures of that?
