"Da Dep" meant a CD, kind of like Girl Power, Trainee Cupid, Around The World With 80 Dollars,...etc. Those kinds of cds, with whole new songs and a full album, that sort of thing. The other one that they were asking was that if the new upcoming cd was going to be a best selections cd because they haven't released one in a while, but Charlene said that it was going to be a "Da Dep"

I think Gillian'S hair are straigh back, bu tmaybe when they're up, they look a bit curly. I guess it's because she wants the messy look, but from my opinion, why will she straigh her hair back, if it's to curl then abck afterwise? I know the making curls are quite hard and demands a lot of time. I don't think Gillian will then straight all her hair, only for an event and have her hair curl back on. I just realized when they said Gillian was "Sei See" is sorta non-chinese right? But what does that mean? Lol.. I'm not that good in chinese. See...she isn't 100% chinese but we already knew that right?

"Sei See" means Indian princess (i think). i think joey called her that because she and edison were getting ready to dance to "yen tho" (Indian) music. i don't think it had any reference to gillian not being fully chinese.

This is a deleted scene of 'Beyond Our Ken'. It's the part where Gillian knocked over all the products in the supermarket, and she sat there crying. I wish they kept this close up shot in it though; it looks so much better than just the far shot.

I've always thought Gillian looks better onscreen (in motion) than in pictures too. Maybe it's because clips are able to capture the naturality that pictures seem to fail to do. In other words she isn't really that photogenic...however there are still plenty of pictures where she looks extremely beautiful in, eg. the latest issue of Jessica.


Hehe...that's what happened when I went to HK for a month. The thread had 52 pages before I left and when I came back it was 60-62 already. But that just shows how active and supportive Gillian fans are. I know I'm abit late but...I hope you'll have a nice vacation.


That's a nice mv you made! There were some scenes that fitted in perfectly, eg. when Gillian was in a themepark or something riding the horse thing while Kenny was standing outside looking at her. (I believe that scene is from separated clips (?)) I like the song you chose too, Chu Dian. The song itself is really soothing and sweet, which matched the mv very well.

Thanks for sharing the Joey & Gillian pics - I've always thought Joey kind of got along better with Gillian than Charlene. They've known each other for quite a long time now haven't they, maybe more than some of the other EEG members, so when they find time out of their busy schedules they probably have a lot to talk about .

It was a deleted clip of Gillian at the market in Beyond Our Ken? Oh. Initially, I thought it was when Gillian injured herself in House of Fury because there was this one scene when Gillian injured herself, screamed, and the crew had to stop filming to check up on Gillian; Gillian seemed to have been wearing a similar shirt, the color at least.

Yup, that's exactly what I was referring to. Gillian just isn't photogenic in comparison to others. Gillian looks awesome in motion. When I see Gillian pictures, I'm always searching for the video clip instead, because I know for a fact that photos just don't do Gillian's beauty any justice at all. When people criticize Gillian as being chubby, those are photos they always refer to but when you view the clip that contains those pictures, Gillian's figure is perfectly fine, thin and slender. When people criticize Gillian's smile as fake, they always refer to photos as well and like usual, when you watch the clip of that function, Gillian's smile seems natural, it just really depends on when the camera happens to snap at her smile. Personally, when I saw Gillian with those curls, I was like Oh, no. Gillian looks awful with curls, but when the I Really Want To Love Him and You're the Bravest music videos came out, Gillian just completely blew me away. People shouldn't be too quick to judge against Gillian's figure, smile, and her overall appearance from photos because pictures obviously aren't the best shots of Gillian.

Yeah, both Kenny and Gillian were in separate music videos, just pasted the scenes together during the theme park scenes. I love S.H.E.'s Chu Dian, it is a lovely and cute song, perfect for Kenny-Gillian in a cute romance comedy.

It's solely based on personalities. Joey and Gillian seem to share more similarities that perhaps don't clash as much as Gillian-Sa so there's less tension at times but it doesn't mean that Gillian and Sa absolutely hate each other, they're just probably not as close as Twins fans would love to believe, that's all.

Really? Hm, I was quite sure that it's from 'Beyond Our Ken' since I thought I remember it being shown in the extra features of the DVD, but now I'm having second thoughts after seeing what you think. Anyone up for clarification? Or maybe I should just go watch the special features again?

Gillian and Joey sure do look comfortable and natural with each other. It's kind of a surprise that Gillian and Joey were just off cuddling with each other when Charlene was there too. Charlene was standing next to the guy who's standing beside Gillian at the time. Regardless, Joey and Gillian look super sweet and cute with each other. It just shows us how friendly they are with each other.

Unfortunately I didn't. I missed the chance the day I arrived to HK, because I was in Langham place shopping while they had a promotion event for their Mandarin album at some travel agency. And after that event I think they went to Taiwan for further promotions. Plus the fact that I didn't have any laptop made the chance even slimmer to meet them, as I didn't know their schedule. However I did meet some other stars such as S.H.E, Jay, Z-chen, Tank (I saw them at S.H.E's concert, an awesome concert I must say), Khalil, Kenny and Ekin.
Erm...I actually passed by Kenny in Mong Kok without even noticing him LOL, since there were just too many people. It was by brother who suddenly shouted out "Isn't that Kenny over there?" That was when I noticed him.


I'm sure that scene is from Beyond our ken too, because I remember there were people surrounding her when she knocked down the cup noddles or whatever they are...as we can see on the gif.

I agree. I always thought Charlene was the more photogenic one while Gillian is solely the one that fits television more. There's many people who looks 1000000% times beter in motion than in pics. Like Nancy Wu. In motion, she looks really cute and pretty but in pics she's not as cute. When you watch House of Fury or Beyond our Ken, you automatically know that Gillian's features are made for the mtion pictures instead. In pictures, her curliness isn't as nice but in motion, I agree, I like it a lot more. Like the time she was at the Hong Kong Film award presentation thing, she didn't look that nice in that outfit but when I saw the clip, she looked 10x better. Some people are made for pictures while other's are made for motion. I'm more on the pictures side. Lol.

I wish Gillian would have a chance to couple up with someone like Joey. I don't think Gillian is wearing makeup either in that photo. Seems like some fan caught Gillian before her makeup time. For some reason, I believe Gillian is even more beautiful being natural without the makeup nor the fancy outfits. The makeup and clothes actually makes Gillian appear older but still younger than her age though. And some makeup colors and wacky outfits at times, ruin Gillian's natural glow. A lot of stars look hideous without makeup but Gillian for one, is even more beautiful without the enhancements.

Oh, thanks for the compliment. Um, that thing where Gillian laughs inside a polaroid, I didn't do that. That was actually part of a Twins' music video and I used that to match up with Kenny's polaroid scene. I bet Skippie would know how to do that. I'm not that professional yet.

Yup. No offense, when I saw Sa's photos of Twins' The Missing Piece Concert 06 early this year, I was like wow, Sa looks absolutely gorgeous in that blue gown but when I watched the actual concert, um let's just say a different vibe was there; for some reason, Sa's eyelids look a bit strange and she appeared way older than usual. And I'm not saying that Sa is ugly or anything in motion. Anyway, I also saw some photos of Gillian as well during her fight scene and didn't quite like her outfit nor skit but when I was watching the concert on DVD, immediately when Gillian slowly surfaced to the stage, sitting on that throne, with her hair so funky, and her clothes so royal-like, I was like Whoa, Gillian is absolutely stunning! Yup, Gillian is definitely a motion person; can't wait to see her in person.

With or without makeup gillian is just as beautiful because she has natural beauty...she doesn't need makeup to show off how pretty she is. in fact, the more makeup she puts on, the less pretty and natural gill looks. for her, less is more because she's so naturally gorgeous.

oh and that pic that gill#1fan posted up was a scene from Beyond Our Ken. the one that asillysaint you're thinking of, gillian was wearing a yellowish costume because while shooting the scene when she got hurt, she was filming as being in a costume play where she played a sort of 'sei see'. back when i was looking at the House of Fury official website, i saw this behind the scenes clip where they showed her getting hurt, and she looked like she was in so much pain. i felt soo bad for her and in the interview she said that it hurt so much she almost cried and she couldn't even speak because of the pain. gill's one tough lady.

Wow, you sure met a lot of celebrities on your trip. It's a pity you didn't meet Twins, but there's always another chance. Wonder if bluehearts will have any luck? That was a pretty funny event of seeing Kenny; you didn't even notice him?

I think all it is is the angle for that photo. From memory, I don't think they were even standing by each other during that function; Gillian was standing with Kenny and Isabella in the row behind Stephy's row. It's merely a hats off to the photographer for snapping the photo when Stephy was getting up and Gillian was on the go. I think at that same function, it was when Stephy expressed that she doesn't really know Gillian that well, so there isn't a need for them to take a photo together. I guess the reporters resorted to their own ways of getting a photo of them together.

I'd say Joey has some power in EEG because she is their top female singer, and EEG practically treats her like family. There was this one time when she requested for Steven and Dennis to be part of an ad with her; it was during a time when the new Boy'z were formed, but they really had nothing to do, and Joey was nice enough to include them in something. It'd be awesome if Gillian and Joey could pair up to do something of the Kangta+Vanness format. It'd also be quite unique as well; Joey and Gillian both have voices that don't fall in the range of the typical deep voices of HK, so it'd be interesting to hear the voices collaborate. Yeah, Gillian and Joey can just be working back and forth among two working areas, their personal group, Joey's solo career, and Gillian's Twins career. Joey wouldn't be leaving her solo career, nor would Gillian be leaving Twins, but it's just an extra job opportunity. With their popularity, it would more than likely rock up the sales and charts, which would lead to more exposure, and big bucks for EEG's pleasure. But of course, nothing that brilliant would be put into action by EEG.

Did anyone see the Scoop with Twins shopping and Gillian was in the light blue? It was funny where they asked Gillian want was she doing and she didn't answer but Charlene did! She was to busy looking at stuff and didn't bother answering. LOL. And when the host ask what Gillian brought she said she brought 1 alarm clock for $30 and the person who was selling it said he'll give her 3 for $50.

Yea wacthed that a few days ago. Like the media said" like which girl doesn't like to go shopping" . It seen like when ever Gillian go shopping she doesn;t care if the media had follow her. 3 alarm clock for $50 discount that is benefit for celebrity and i forget who say it .

That just makes it funnier lol; this whole picture was all a coincidence. Anyway, it still looks nice seeing Gillian and Stephy aligned with each other, that rarely ever happens.

Joey should at least propose the idea; I'm sure, Joey gets lonely traveling and promoting alone, Gillian's company can surely come in handy plus it seems like Joey is willing to share the spotlight with Gillian as an older sister. They're so sweet together. Thanks for the clip. Hm, for some people who love to criticize Gillian of not being friendly or bubbly would believe that Gillian was being snobbish for not answering the reporter with a smile. At times, when we are too involved with something else like Gillian was in shopping, we tend to tune out all things around us. At least Gillian was comfortable with all of those cameras on her.

Anyway, I got bored so I decided to do a Chun Li-Chung Yun Tung= Chung Li analysis. Gillian looks amazing being Chun Li. As Ching Ling So, Gillian wore a blue oufit that is Chun Li's primary outfit as well so the pictures fitted in perfectly with each other. Chun Li and Gillian are so similar in that, both are martial arts fighters, strong-willed, determined YET both have a sweet, gentle, cute, and bubbly side as well. Everything from their beautiful face structures, charm, charisma, expressions, to personalities completely match. Since dramas and films from mangas are the trend now, I wouldn't mind if someone re-created Street Fighter in a HK film starring Gillian as action hottie Chun Li and Nicholas or Shawn as Ryu, as a pair. Nicholas and Shawn seem to be the main ones involved with martial arts alongside Gillian in the current generation of stars, films that is. Or perhaps, Aaron Kwok can re-portray Ryu as he did in Future Cops; that way, Gillian will receive an opportunity to work with her idol. But Chun Li is quite muscular. Anyway, what do you guys think?

Anyway, I just bought Vincy's debut album and I have to say, I'm very impressed with her sensational voice; I'm anticipating on her live performances but it just makes me a bit disappointed in place for Gillian; I really hope that Gillian Chung will have her own solo album one day soon. There's just so much more room to grow and develop solo; Gillian already has the voice, the most basic step, all she needs is proper training, not Twins training but real training for singers, not idols. I'm not saying being in Twins is bad because it's not; being a part of Twins has introduced Gillian into the successful side of the ET industry but I guess, personally, I believe it's time for Gillian to further advance in the music industry. Can't wait to hear Gillian's solo if there is still any. Gah, I wish Gillian would sing some of Vincy's songs even if they're just for fun on a gameshow or karaoke songs that are released online or whatnot.

Her solo's are very nice, she got the voice and a little more practice she can sure stand alone! So maybe next year EEG already have something GOOD planned...maybe just a little separation but near the summer Twins will come together and make another album and win Best Group again. Now that you mentioned it, it did seem like every star was either in black or white. Pretty cool though!

Perhaps Joey hasn't really thought of herself and Gillian collaborating. I would think that Joey wouldn't mind sharing the spotlight with Gillian, quite equally as well, might I say. If Gillian collaborated with Joey, she definitely wouldn't be appearing as though she's a supporting character. Photoshoots of Joey's are also much more interesting than Twins'. It'd be a good change to see Gillian try on different wardrobes, a tad bit of sexiness could even be added in. Gillian should somehow have a way to jump out of the Twins style of things. It's true that she's able to collaborate with almost anyone musically because of how versatile her voice is, so I anticipate on Gillian collaborating with someone else sometime this year, but Joey would be a preferable choice.

I've listened to Vincy's debut album as well. She does have a very nice voice that's very emotional; 心中有數 is my favourite. Vincy did a great job in all her songs, I must say that she seems to be missing a song that just pops out at a listener, like one that distinctively stands out from the rest. An artiste really needs one of those songs, so that when the song is mentioned, the artiste is immediately thought of. Anyway, back to Gillian, I really hope there is a day of when we can hear an album by Gillian Chung. All she's missing is some good hardcore training. Gillian is through with all the dilly dally training of Twins; she needs the real training of singers. She needs the training that could teach her how to completely have control over her voice during different situations. Gillian does know how to conform here and there, but she needs to know exactly what she's doing. From that recent interview, even the interviewer sensed that Gillian didn't want to be stuck in the idol boundaries forever either and that her next stop is to be for talent. I hope she'll get the chance to advance. I definitely hope that the list is wrong, and there are solos and self-written and composed songs. It'd be great if Gillian was able to re-sing some good and challenging songs live at some kind of event, although the chance is quite slim.

It's not really that big of a deal since that's just formal greeting but I'm still surprised.
