I'm glad that Eric is holding a meeting about it. Soon we might hear from Anthony Wong since he is going to the meeting.

It's comforting to see that so many artists and the authority are supporting Gillian and are seeking some sort of aid. I really hope that the government would do something and if not, at least the public will weigh down enough pressure for Easy Finder to shut down.

I somewhat agree. Those are the three people who have come right out to state their bold responses in defense of Gillian, and it is so appreciated. I don't like the part of how the rest of them start going off into their own experiences though; I would rather hear them say more words of comfort to Gillian. It's just that one thing we can't forget is artistes are afraid of the media. Sometimes they aren't bold enough to say what they really want to say. Vincy said that she sent Gillian a SMS while Yumiko called her, so perhaps they did more comforting to Gillian in private than what they said to the media. I wasn't too amused on how Steven was still trying to joke during a situation like this. dry.gif Anyway, Yumiko did state that she's worried about Gillian's photos being posted online and that the whole EEG is being stressed over this right now. Even though they didn't make much of a strong response, hopefully if any actions take place, they'll step out to support it as Alex had encouraged. It's the same for me; I want to hear bolder comments and responses to this. Even though consoling in private is good as well, but speaking out to the media is a much stronger impact. It'll let the public know that more artistes are supporting Gillian through her hardship. Hopefully, we'll hear stronger responses today.

The law IS corrupted. I just got the news that the complaints have to reach ten thousand before the government will start doing something. blink.gif We're still at eight hundred some. wacko.gif I think depending on the government is quite hopeless right now, so Gillian can only rely on Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild and the female social groups to bring justice. The government is just scared of the media. It's not like they're blind and can't see how strong people are responding to this. I agree of how it wouldn't be hard for them to step out, speak out, and finally prosecute these people. With Gillian's case, I don't believe that there isn't a single law established that can bring prosecution to these thieves; they have stolen Gillian's privacy and happiness away. So far, there's only been one individual from the government who is bold enough to come out and defend Gillian. I heard that that officier is very much of a dainty gentleman, but this time he strongly spat out the word, 'Despicable!'. Argh, this agency needs to be punished once and for all!

I just saw it as well. Eric Tsang's response was quite strong. He expressed that the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild is very much aware of Gillian's incident; they're going to have a discussion about it today to figure out what actions they could take to defend this case. He's going to notify more about it to the public tomorrow.
Gosh, it really makes me wonder, is EasyFinder this powerful? Seems like no one can do anything against them unless such an unreasonable amount of complaints are reached. dry.gif Did the government just throw that ridiculous number out there in spite? Anyway, I just read the latest article you posted; I'm so glad to read up on more support from veteran stars such as Kelly, Jordan, and Eric Tsang. All responses were bold and urged for more action. Finally, their reactions are getting somewhere. Oh yeah, Joey and her little brother were cute too with their comments. I agree, some stars are just straightout afraid of the media but this is a time where they need to come out and defend each other to the maximum or they could be next in line in this type of humiliating situation. Has EEG contacted the police yet? Since Eric Tsang kept repeating in his response to call the police. I'm sure EEG already has right considering how important and big this case has grown? But I'm glad that so many people are flying back to Hong Kong to support Gillian, Andy should too.

Hopefully, that officer can pull Gillian's case to justice. Anyway, I was wondering, with the link wfcwfc posted, our complaints through email can contribute to that 800 going on 10,000 right? If so, do we need to be a residence of Hong Kong in order for that complaint to be valid? If every celebrity inside and outside of Hong Kong can contribute a complaint, doesn't have to be long, could be short and simple, I'm sure the complaints can reach up to 10,000 in no time. Or if our complaints to these phone and email links listed do count towards that 10,000 mark, we should ask if Asian Fanatics could pitch in a hand by sending this email link urging everyone to please make a worty complaint as a community who doesn't support this type of illegal tape rape; I mean, AF has like 112,208 members, that's way more than enough to achieve the numbers necessary for the government to help right?

Anyway, I thought of another way to help Gillian. We all should write complaints and help emails to AZN Televsion, a network for Asian Americans or just overseas Asians. I'm sure if there are enough emails, AZN which is a pretty well established network can give a helping hand over here, overseas. Doesn't hurt to try right? Wow, we really need to begin organizing our own help and support for Gillian as well. What do you guys thing so far? If the plan sounds good to you guys, I'll begin urging others to write to AZN as soon as possible in search for help on Gillian's behalf? We should email all other groups/individuals that have influence in the ET industry to help out like perhaps from Taiwan, Jay, S.H.E., Lee Hom, Jolin, F4, Rainie, Show, since all of these stars have their blogs and personal websites we can reach them at plus they have fans that meet them so very often, perhaps we can group with their fans to create a stronger support group? I'm just suggesting, don't mind me. innocent.gif

Reporter:
Gill's first performance in Malaysia
When she was changing, someone has took pictures of her when she was changing. She is still fighting
this problem! We have new information about the situation.
This is Gill, telling us about what happend. She seems very stressed out
and paranoid.

Gill: This situation, I believe there was a scheme to take the pictures.
Because the room we were in is just for changing. We thought that room was a
safe place to change in, so that's why we change in there. It's not like we open
the door to change quickly.

Reporter: Where were you Sa?

Sa: Yeah. Well when we saw the pictures, the pictures had Gill's right side
well at that right moment, at Gill's right side there was a drawer. And I was at her
left side, well there might be a mirror angle, we're not sure. But Gill was covering me
So I'm very innocent but I feel guiltiy.

Reporter:

Gill: Actually....--- CUTS OFF

Sa: It's a changing room, you would expect changing rooms to be only for changing.
You would think it's safe, and its like a backstage room.

Gill: Just to check it, and if there was a goal to it, you would be paranoid.

Sa: Right now it's not like we were running around with our pants down. It's not like
we're mooning people on stage, then we'll be wrong. We're in a safe room specially designed
for changing, so if you're taking pictures on purpose then you'll be the wrong at fault.

Reporter: Was the door opened?

Gill: This room is where we put all our presents, stage props, and clothes, a lot of
other things too. If you just look at it you won't think anything.

Reporter: You already bought bodyguards?

Gill: Good thing I have two dressers guarding me, they're just worried about me being revealed.
But still revealed.

Reporter: What are you guys going to do about it now?

Gill: We're letting the company deal with this at the moment.

Reporter: Are you going to be more careful next time?

Both: Actually we're already careful.

Sa: Usually when we're doing a show, we put on tape. When I wear pants I usually wear
extra pair of pants, I'm scared that it might be revealed. It's just like a safety measure.
Because we don't really wear clothes that are revealing.

Reporter: Twin's manager, Foc Mon Hei? is trying settle this legally.

FMH: We're not investigating this. We're asking the lawyers in Malaysia
to see what actions we should take. We're wondering whether we should have the police involved
or not. In Hong Kong we will definitely take legal actions. In Malaysia we already....---cuts off

Wow, I was gone for 2 days then when I come back, I find out about this major news. All I can say right now is I'm so shock and digusted! I can't believe they would stoop that low in order to sell a few magazine! Whoever did it; I wish they burn in hell. Karma will bite them in the ass. I feel so sorry for Gillian right now. I can't help it but start crying when I saw her cry. I mean, just imagine yourself in her position; we're already so furious and depress over it, she must feel 1000x worst. I got over 30 of my friends to sign the petition, hopefully, the magazine will get shut down. I'm glad that everyone is by Gillian side and hope she will be able to pull through.

Thanks for your support. hug.gif Gillian needs all of the support she can get. I've already contact a few places like AZN Television for help, next, it'll be local Asian news-stands or magazines to see if we all overseas people can do something to help or at least be aware that this incident is no accident nor appropriate. If we create enough commotion, I'm sure something serious will be done about this issue.

But I'm glad that so many people are flying back to Hong Kong to support Gillian, Andy should too.

I suppose it's because no one's really gone to the point of stopping EasyFinder, therefore things just get worse and worse. It wouldn't be surprising that EasyFinder and its boss has some sort of power, or else they wouldn't be out printing more copies when so much dissatisfaction is occurring. It's also possible for the government to throw out some big number at us to attempt of making us give up, but we cannot give up. If the government is too scared and doesn't wish to help, then we must organize our own ways of helping. I agree that this is a time of when all artistes should stick together through thick and thin because the next victim could be anyone if it isn't stopped now. The others shouldn't be that afraid of speaking out to the media now that even Eric Tsang has said something. Jordan's words were quite something; he sounded pretty mad about secretly filming in general. I'm glad Joey said something to the media as well; I suppose she was just waiting for her next function to say something in public while encouraging her fans not to buy the tabloid on her blog.

I found it a bit strange of how Eric Tsang kept stressing about how Gillian should be contacting the police as well, but Gillian has really handed the case over to EEG; EEG really hasn't called the police yet. The last thing I heard was they were discussing with a lawyer to see if they can call the police in Malaysia. Personally, it sounds like the Malaysian police are more helpful than the HK police because the police in Malaysia have already given the word that they are willing to investigate this case while in HK, the government gives us this big obstacle before they will supposedly help. dry.gif Anyway, I'm really glad Eric Tsang is holding an urgent meeting regarding Gillian's issue, and how the members of the group are also flying back to HK just to support and plan. I hope they'll be able to come up with something to help. I wonder why EEG hasn't called this group for help? Eric said the group will definitely provide help, and they'd want to know how Gillian's doing at the moment. The group sounds pretty powerful, so they should get as much help as they need. Hopefully, there'll be more responses from others to support Gillian.

EDIT: I just read on the news, and it said that EEG have just sent two people over to Malaysia to file a report on this case to the police! Now they have the support of the Malaysian police force!

Fight Gillian Fight~ yeah.gif

For the complaints, I think we should concentrate on sending them to nrs@tela.gov.hk . That's where they're counting from. They've received 812 at the moment; even though it's pretty far off, but we've got to keep trying. I've heard that it's okay for us to file a complaint even if we are overseas. I agree that celebrities should file a complaint as well; Kelly did. There's more than enough people in the ET circle, and they'll be able to meet 10,000 in no time. On the other hand, we really could get the AF members to sending them too. From the news section, it sounds like everyone is against this secretly filming business.

Do you think writing to AZN could help Gillian? If it can, then it's definitely worth a try. Hm, maybe we can even go searching for blogs and emails of celebrities, notify them of how serious it is, and how important it is for them to speak out? It's for Gillian's sake, but it's for their sake as well. We've got to combine all the power we have. The HK government isn't doing much except to cause difficulties, so even we overseas people have to do something.

Alright, let's PM athlon, the main administrator to see if he can help send out PMs to every member at Asian Fanatics to help out with the complaints at that email address provided. The Gillian Thread is pretty huge thread here at Asian Fanatics and plus, this is a serious issue for everyone, not just Gillian fans. Um, perhaps you can PM him? Since you're the top person, hot on this case. hug.gif Your request would be much heavier in importance.

I'm going to try to get help from everywhere, everyone, and everything I can think of. I'll probably post and urge others to write to AZN Television and nrs@tela.gov.hk for sure and so should all AF members as well. We can all pull through for Gillian. Has CCT and other Twins sites and forums called or at least emailed nrs@tela.gov.hk yet? They should, they reside in Asia which is the closer than us. CCT has so many Twins members, they should have reached a good amount of complaints already like the petition; if those huge forums aren't aware yet, which I believe they are way more updated than us, perhaps you can inform them? I'll go out to the English forums since I'm better at English. blush.gif

Our targets: 1) nrs@tela.gov.hk 2) AZN Television

Wonder if the number of people who signed the petition counts toward the number of complaints? They should.

That's really nice of those HK Citizens to make a banner. I saw that on TF.net but can someone translate what it wrote?

If I do send a complaint what do I write? I don't know how to write complaint because next thing I know the whole page is filled with curse words.

Edited: Just as aznlotus mentioned, if I do write a complaint does it have to be in Chinese? Or could I just write in English?

Since you guys mentioned that the government is scared why? What kind of BIG powers does EasyFinder have that the government don't have?? But I'm sure Albert Yeung should have a lot of powers.

I wanna file a comp-laint but I don't know how to write in Chinese and I'm not sure how a complaint letter is like.

I'm glad more and more artistes are coming out and supporting Gillian in this matter. I'm sure Sun Boy'z, Kenny, Joey, Vincy and all that have comforted her with their best ability. Maybe not towards the media but I'm sure they've all phone and sent her messages. They haven't been more straightforward but I'm sure they have given her comfort and consoled her.

Just write your complaints in English, just do what you can. I'm writing mine in English whether they will count in the end or not.

People who involve themselves with this type of dirty business is majorly corrupted and has major connections to keep on going and harassing others, that's all I have to say. EEG may have a lot of power itself but EEG does invest more than half of their businesses in legal projects so it would be more visible for EEG if they were to do something this harsh, which of course, the Carina case.

A mass PM and a mass Email is now being sent out. With AF's batch of members, this might take awhile.

An announcement has been made in the frontpage.

I will leave the support, explanation and further exposure of the topic up to you guys.

How long did it take for the government to take care of the Carina Lau incident?
From what I know while taking law classes, matters such as this usually take about 5-10 days until the government really pays attention. Afterall; although it is invasion of privacy, alot of women each year get their picture taken while their changing and such, those picture usually end up on porn website. Usually, the government do more important things (I'm not saying this ISN'T important, however, in their opinion; it might not be AS important). But that is just what I HEARD from my teacher. Case such as murder, rape, robbing and such are usually cases that get government notice or action in a day or two.

Thanks. That is weird, with all of the online forums combined, the numbers should be more than 10,000 already. Or perhaps the government is purposely dodging their responsibility? n_thumbdown.gif

Either that, or the complaints haven't reached them yet? Anyway, I saw a report made on the history of complaints made about 'EasyFinder' and found that the highest number of complaints had only been 1600. That may be why the government has announced a number that is ten times their most complaints. wacko.gif Either the government is purposely dodging it, or the number of people who showed dissatisfaction don't correspond to the number of people who sent complaints, meaning that there are still some people at those online forums who have yet to send a complaint out.

I think the complaints will be accepted in English because they're allowing oversea complaints. Just be sure to include your address and phone number, or else they won't count it. No one's going to call you back or mail you anything.

I'm not too sure about how long it took for the government to take care of Carina Lau's incident; their way of taking care of it wasn't even effective. The tabloid gets a suspension of publication, and now it's up and running again. dry.gif

I understand of how the government generally views things; it's always of how somethings aren't as important than other things. That is true sometimes of how there are sequences, but at least the government will still pay attention to it in that case. Right now with this incident, it seems like the HK government is somehow afraid of 'EasyFinder' that they're either afraid or unwilling to take action, or else they wouldn't be requesting 10,000 complaints before taking action when everyone is shocked of this incident.

You're right, perhaps the people who are in charge of counting and viewing the complaints haven't viewed all of them yet. Their email box better not be full because that would delay a lot of the complaints. When I sent mine yesterday, it wasn't, I didn't receive any error messages, which means, they either check it so frequently since this is such a hot and important issue or not enough people are emailing them about this case.

I hope that everyone can contribute. I know that this is pretty sensitive on all of us since we have to provide an address and phone number, the majority of fans are still so young and must be cautious but I am willing to do anything to help Gillian and hopefully, everyone will too even if that means filling in your address and phone number.

The government has never been fond of celebrities anyway. To think of it, it's the higher autorities in the government that secretly support this type of underground dirty business, sorry to burst anyone's bubble of the government, but that's true so I'm not surprised at all that the government has done nothing about this so far and are actually dodging responsibility. This is more of a joke and amusing event to the government than anything and I'm not assuming either. They purposely threw out that 10,000 mark just to dare all of us, we must take that challenge and achieve our goal. We can't let this slip by over and over, Gillian wasn't the first and definitely won't be the last.

Yeah, the government can't deal with every case, we all know that. I'm not saying that because Gillian is a celebrity, she deserves more justice but because Gillian is a celebrity, her case can establish some new ground breaking rules and laws for everyone, to protect everyone out there, not just her alone. We all need to use Gillian's name in society to break some rigid barriers.

If everyone can just take some posting time from here to fill out the forms and send them to the email address, that would benefit Gillian more and that would actually be punishing this culprit for such an evil deed. I know that the form seems hard but take your time, no rush. Support Gillian. Visit this link and it'll give you all the steps you need to fill it in. Thanks.

Hopefully, they do clear their email inbox frequently so that it doesn't block off any complaints. Perhaps fans who reside in HK could resort to phoning? I do hope that anyone who hasn't contributed yet will contribute; I understand of how some fans are hesitating to send a complaint because it asks for personal information as well. I even hesitated for a bit, but in the end, I feel that giving help towards Gillian and any to-be victims if this isn't taken care of is much more important. Besides, you won't be contacted. There are hundreds of complaints filed in at the moment, so they can't possibly be out contacting people. For the most part, even if they will be contacting people, they'd be contacting those in HK. Even that is unlikely.

Uh huh, sometimes, the higher the position in government is, the dirtier their work gets. Sad but true. The government is likely just challenging us with that huge number, hoping that we'd back off, and they would have more than the reason to sit back and watch the show instead of doing something. Which means that we must challenge them as well. It could surely give a reason for the social groups to go against the government if they don't do anything when a huge amount of complaints have been sent in. It sounds extreme, but what else could we do to fight for human rights? This time it's Gillian, but next time it's going to be someone else. More and more people are going to be hurt from this if it isn't stopped right now.

I agree of how it's not just about celebrities. Any ordinary person out there could be filmed without permission and be used for illegal purposes, which hurts the person emotionally, leaving a scar for life. This could really be a scar for Gillian right now. Can we bear to see anyone else suffer like Gillian is suffering right now?

For anyone who thinks this is a joke, like that person from the Entertainment News Thread, I can just say that you are heartless, and just wait for the tables to turn; you could very well be the next victim, and the only cause of that is because you didn't support of putting a stop to it but instead taking it as a joke.

BullSHIT. Stop spreading stupid rumors!

It would have to be an insider who did the filming since only they would have access to their changing rooms, it might have been someone from EEG but I don't think it was EEG who set the whole thing up. Some reporter probably offered money to someone who had access to the changing room.

This is so sad though. I feel bad for Gillian and I am definately boycotting Easyfinder!

omfg, this whole thing is disgusting as, i say we all find out who the person is who took the pics, and then do something really horrible and nasty to them, nah forget it, i say we kill them, theyre low-lifes, they dont deserve to live, poor gill, when i saw pics of her looking so sad and crying, i just felt so sorry for her, id never seen her like that before, hopefully she feels better soon.

also, i truly believe that charlene had absolutely nothing to do with it, the fact that there r rumours that she set it up, is just complete bs, sa and gill r like best frends, sif sa would ever do a thing like that.

atm, i feel really really bad for gillian.

Man...I just got a hold of a computer and the first thing I read is this terrible news! I can't believe something like this could happen and the government isn't doing sh*t. What's with the whole idea of reaching ten thousand complaints before taking action? Even if it's only one complaint, action should be taken because this is outrageous and shouldn't be taken so lightly! I can't believe the government is so unless as of this moment. What's a government for if they can't protect their own citizen and bring justice to them.

I really hope Gillian could sue those reporters/companies' a*ses off. I find it ridiculous how "secret filming" isn't illegal. Isn't that worse than public filming where the people actually knows they are being film and could speak up if they don't want to be exposed....While this secret filming just totally takes away our rights to object if necessary. Laws are so stupid sometimes....

I'm glad that alot of people are coming out and supporting Gillian...does these complaints have to be written before the government wants to take action..geez..I want to cry when I heard that Gillian was a victim of such incident! How heartless can these reporters be? It breaks my heart to see the pictures with Gillian's teary and red eyes! I can't say enough how outrageous this whole event is!

About the PM with the complaint link...I was wondering if there's any other way I can fill out the form without printing it out, filled it and then scan the file again? I don't have a scanner with me since I'm not at home...so sad.... or if only I have photoshop...I would be able to fill it out too..arghh...how frustrating...

I really want to hear from bigger mega stars such as Andy Lau and the Four Kings alongside Anthony Wong, Show Luo, S.H.E. and other Mainland artists to show a world wide support group on Gillian's behalf.

I think it's important to let the other celebrities outside of HK know about this too, because 1) it'll make them more aware so that this hopefully won't ever happen again to other people or celebrity and
for the 2nd I think the government will take this incident more seriously when they see such huge reaction coming not only from the HK citizens but also people in the States, Europe etc. and other Asian countries, especially if it's coming from those 'big' stars you mentioned...such as S.H.E, Leehom, Jolin etc.

It really makes me wonder whether the other celebrities know anything about this, since I haven't heard them utter anything about it. But I do know a few Chinese forums of S.H.E and their offical blog so maybe I can inform the members and ask them to support Gillian by sending the complaint forms. Not sure whether they'll listen me though, since some of them see Gillian and Charlene as their idols' rivals. Still...I'll try my best and hopefully they would be able to understand my Chinese...

Yeah, I hesitated at first as well but oh well, we must do anything and everything to support Gillian and this fight against violation of female bodies. I hope that all of us here at Asian Fanatics can contribute a complaint fast so the government can jump on the boat before everything fades away and justice is never served like always; we can't witness another victim.

I agree, if the government wants a challenge, they have one. In a way, I find this issue to be more traumatizing for Gillian than anyone else (non-celebrities) because Gillian is a well known public figure, entertainment is her career, with tabloids like these publicized, Gillian may or may not fully recover and return to the ET industry. For other unfortunate females who have been harassed similarly; I'm not saying it's any less painful but let's just say, Asians do look alike, not a lot of people in general will know which girl is who so it'll be easier to slip by but as for Gillian, the whole world knows about it. I mean, we keep saying other girls, other girls, we don't even know their names and faces even if we to see them but for Gillian, almost everyone will turn their heads if Gillian was to walk through that door. That's such a pity.

I hope that everyone who finds this as a joke, as an EEG stunt to gain publicity, or as a good laugh at Gillian due to jealously, they are the ones who really need their faces and bodies camcorded and released into the black market. n_thumbdown.gif Then we'll see who can break a laugh. whistle.gif

Well, every star is out there entertaining and they barely read up on any news so some celebrities are just as clueless up until a reporter mentions something or some sort. It would be great if you can recruit some S.H.E. fans to support Gillian in this battle. I guess, towards something this big and important, they have to put aside their bitter feelings and support Gillian Chung as a fellow female, not Twins. I hope they would understand that and hopefully, large stars like them can fully support Gillian. Plus, it's always worth giving it a shot right?

I hope that everyone who finds this as a joke, as an EEG stunt to gain publicity, or as a good laugh at Gillian due to jealously, they are the ones who really need their faces and bodies camcorded and released into the black market. n_thumbdown.gif Then we'll see who can break a laugh. whistle.gif

Oh okay, I was about to tell you to just copy and paste the entire thing and send it through via email; that's way easier. Um, I didn't mention the issue number or anything but I clearly wrote Gillian Chung several times in my complaint and I did direct my complaints about Easy Finder.

Yes, I just hope AF members will take the time to send out a complaint. The thing I'm worrying about right now is that some aren't even taking the time to read all that I've written in the topic. Some are expressing that they think it's too much of a hassle to send a complaint in the formal way or not having a printer when I have noted about the email/easier way. Hopefully, there'll be a decent amount of people sending out a complaint so that we'll be able to put up a fight for the government's support. Like Lawrence Cheng said on the news, the social groups are willing to take action, in fact they are, but they're bound to lose without the government's support.

I agree. It's worst to have it happen to someone well-known like Gillian. It hurts just as much emotionally for any ordinary girl, but if it happens to be a celebrity, you just get all this unnecessary attention because of the negative issue. I really hope we can do our part in resolving this so that Gillian will be granted time to heal. Females don't have to put up with being harassed about their bodies or anything personal, but it's these disgusting tabloids that are making it seem reasonable. n_thumbdown.gif

Why are there so many perverts in HK? I was looking through a chinese forum, and there were quite a few people, may I add who were males, who were taking these as an absolute joke. They were actually questioning of why there wasn't more to 'see'. bash.gif Thank goodness there were others who were more righteous to snap back at them.

I didn't write the issue number either since I wasn't sure what the issue number is; I wasn't that interested in that nor have I even looked at the tabloid. closedeyes.gif But same here, I mentioned Gillian Chung in the complaint a few times and about secretly filming, so I'm sure they'll be bright enough to see what we're talking about from the details.

I agree, Carina's case was much worse but seems like the penalty was very light; perhaps it had something to do with the time the photos and video tape was shot and when the actual magazine published it?

At least this already broke the records of complaints, just a few more thousands to go. I seriously think if all forums combined to write complaints, 10,000 will be such an easy goal.

Wow, that's weird. Are there really two petitions then? Are they by the same person?

Anyway, Aja Gillian Aja! yeah.gif

The shocking thing is that the number of complaints for Carina's case didn't even reach 1000. blink.gif It's a much worse case, and I can't imagine why. Perhaps it's because it happened much earlier, and complaints weren't able to be sent in by emails? Lots of people put convenience over many things; that's a very bad point right there. duh.gif Anyway, the number of complaints for Gillian's case has already surpassed the highest number of complaints they've received for the past four years. That should really tell them something.

Most HK fans are willing to support actions. I was looking around another forum, different from the one I mentioned above, and except for about two absurd people, everyone was quite against this secretly filming crap. Some of them even went as a part of the protest groups. About 100 people stomped up to one of the places to complain just yesterday. The EEG family seems to stick together very well; a girl expressed that she's going to ask the leader of Kenny's fanclub if they could gather their members for the protest functions, then another suggested that they should contact all the leaders of the EEG fanclubs to see if they can all go. Seeing the fact that a bigger group brings more pressure and impact.

There are two petitions since they started the 'luvtwins' one, but then they changed it to the 'twins822' one. The 'twins822' one is the one that the media is aware about, and they reported about it, so I'd advise everyone to focus on that one.

I think Gillian is feeling better now:

Here's the link to a radio station that is talking about Gillian's case. If I didn't hear wrong the Girl who is talking said that how EasyFinder said doesn't matter how much you guys complain we will still make more and more copies and sell it out less than 10 minutes? I don't know but you guys should listen to it. I'm just so mad that the government isn't doing anything until the complaint reach 10,000!! What is wrong with them? Aren't they much powerful than EasyFinder?

yah thats what i thought too....Ive sended the complain....but i really think it's BULLSHIT of the government...

why does there must be 10000 complains before they take action??? should'nt they take action based on the law and the case???because im sure what those reporters did was wrong.... like if it was my gf instead of gill there will probably not even 100 who will complain,so the government wont do anything about it....

A rep of EasyFinder actually said that? That's just... argh! It's like they don't hear or see what's going on around them! Somehow it seems that the magazine is powerful and that people can't do anything about it. I don't understand. EasyFinder doesn't sound scared at all. I'm just hoping the government would do something, but even if the complaints do reach 10,000.... will they really make an effort to settle the situation? They don't seem too reliable to me. I don't know if I can trust the n_thumbdown.gif

It's good to see the tiny smile on Gillian's face, it's a sign that she's feeling better =)

Actually marco88 "Secretly Filming" isn't against the law in HK. For who knows why?????? I was looking around at the SingTao site for any Gillian response and I found this. I think Vincy said it? Can someone translate it?

From Gigi Leung:

From Justin:

Oh yeah I'm just taking any part where they have Gill's name!

I just found something out which could be important.....
this is only what i think so this is not a fact.
when u look at the pic of the magazine (shame on me ive seen it but ok..)u can see the silver strip is on the right side of gill's face ....but on the concert...the strip is on the left side. at first i thought they just changed it with photoshop like this:
strip on left side
IPB Image

and strip on right side
IPB Image

but that would mean the drawer where they thought the cam was hidden should actually be on her left side and charlene on her right side....but what they on the interview said was the opposite...:S

so the thing i think is the cam WAS'NT hidden in the drawer but actually on the side where CHARLENE was. and becoz charlene was too close to the cam they probably couldnt take good pictures from her (they couldnt even took good pics from gill so charlene should only blocked the cam if what i think is real )...so they took pictures of gillian when charlene walked away. and when u look at the picture of the magazine, behind gill..there is a big black thing which could be the drawer they thought the cam was hidden :|

but still it's not a fact...it also can be that she just moved that silver thing from side
