Ever since Gillian was secretly photographed by HK paparazzi at their Malaysian concert and exposed on the front cover, everyone's been worried about her emotions. Seeing her break down and start crying on live tv. Hong Kong entertainers held a meeting, hoping they can convey a message for all entertainers. As the meeting leader Zeng Zhi Wei thinks the paparzzi are too ruthless.

Entertainer Zeng Zhi Wei: "I can only say things for what happened. We also really care about the victim here, our Gillian, but from my personal view, this is ridiculous, too exaggerated. We already voiced our opinions about how bad these gossip magazines are being!"

Her record company and other entertainers have already voiced their opinions about this too. Many entertainers including Kelly and Gigi have reprimanded the paparrazi's behavior.

Enteratiner Kelly Chen: "She's a girl, her pictures on websites, she's always wearing clothes - she especially doesn't want to reveal anything, it's ridiculous."

Enteratiner Gigi Leung: "I think this is very serious, almost as bad as killing or setting something on fire. It's all law-breaking. I also hope that everyone can, through this incident, to think about it. Do people still want this magazine to define the taste of Hong Kong people?

The day before yesterday, Twin's Gillian was in mainland doing work for a movie, when she returned to Hong Kong, she immediately asked help from the police. Reporter: "Will this have any effect on your emotional being?" Hong Kong star Twins' Gillian: "Now, where ever I am, I will look clearly."

Her manager has expressed that the record company will definitely get justice back for Gillian. Twin's manager said: "We hope we can get all of the photos, negatives back. In the first letter to our lawyer, we have already asked for an apology from the magazine, but the most important thing is to get the pictures back."

Yesterday, after a performance, Gillian sat down, and her emotional state was pretty peaceful, and accepted everyone's questions of concern. Gillian: "After this incident, many of my friends came and comforted me, I feel very comforted."

Good sister Charlene keeps acting as Gillian's guardian angel. Twins' Charlene: "I don't really understand how to comfort people, but I try my best to make her feel better. The first day she heard about this, she started crying, and I just walked over there to comfort her. She wouldn't stop crying, so I just trying to tell her cold jokes to make her feel better." Gillian: "I know everyone cares a lot about me, so thank you everyone for caring."

In this matter, i don't think that we'll be blaming this on Charlene.. she could've gotten her picture taken as well but then whoever is blaming it on her is just being DUMB!

It's great to hear the sheer number and the amount of "big" artists in attendance in the press conf. thing for Gillian! A big for TVB and the HK Performing Artists Guild. Something of this magnitude requires the work of credible media outlets and the artists' support! Just curious what was said and who exactly was there.

Also, i read from the news that Little_Purple_Bell translated that Gillian put in lawsuits and mandatory orders into the High Court to get EasyFinder to stop printing and to return all photos, clips, and stuff to her...is that immediate or does the High Court have to deliberate and like hear both sides of the cases? cuz EasyFinder NEEDS to stop printing immediately!

Btw, Terrence Yin has responded to the event on the Alive site...www.alivenotdead.com..in the blogs! and everything he said I agreed with completely! everything terrence wrote was well put! I wanna hear what Daniel had to say because he also was directly affected by the "peeping" and prying HK tabloids.

These are the responses that I have of Kenny and Steven, mostly Kenny. I thought Steven would have said more than what he did. Anyway, Sun Boy'Z went to the denouncing congress, so I guess they gave their support to Gillian; Kenny said he would go, but I didn't catch him there. There were 300 people there, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he went but wasn't seen. I wouldn't have known that Sun Boy'Z went if they didn't show the shot of them going in on TVB. Mani said that she made most of the EEG artistes take a day off from their work to come; the exception was Joey because she had film some exterior scenes for her serial, but Mani said Joey really wanted to come. Yumiko and Vincy went, and I think that was Isabella who was sitting beside Vincy.

A Hong Kong pop star who was secretly photographed semi-naked for a front-cover magazine feature is to sue the publication, legal and record company officials said.

The pictures, apparently shot with a hidden camera, show "Twins" star Gillian Chung adjusting her bra while changing costumes backstage during a concert in Malaysia.

In a writ filed with the High Court, Chung is demanding damages for the pictures and has demanded Easy Finder magazine hand over all existing copies, a spokeswoman for the judiciary said.

"We have sent legal letters to the publishing company," Ng Yu, chief executive of Emperor Entertainment Group, Twins' management company, told reporters.

"We want them to take out all the (offending) materials," Ng added.

The unflattering grainy photographs show Chung naked except for a flesh-coloured bra.

No intimate part of her body is shown and the pictures are framed by what appears to be the edge of a peep hole through which the shots were taken.

Although the photos have caused a furore, prompting more than 2,000 complaints to the city's media watchdog, all copies of the magazine -- about 90,000 -- sold out so quickly that the publisher, Next Media, ordered a second run, which also sold out.

Some copies were reportedly being sold on the Internet for 50 Hong Kong dollars (6.4 US dollars), more than double their cover price.

Fellow stars have clamoured to condemn the photos, and more than 100 local celebrities, including action star Jackie Chan, are expected to issue a protest on air later Monday afternoon. Chung will also take part in the broadcast.

The singer filed a complaint on Saturday with the police, who said they would approach Interpol and work with the Malaysian authorities to track down those who took the shots.

It's great to see Gillian have a smile on her face after what happened, and of course she has her straight hair back. Hope she is feeling better now and not just smiling for the sake of others. Hm, it's a bit odd that Gillian went to this function, the press conference of 星光熠熠耀保良 while Charlene actually went to the strike at the government headquarters regarding the incident. You would imagine that it'd be the other way around, but I guess frequently bringing up the issue to Gillian wouldn't be the best thing to do.

Gillian looks lovely in the pics. I'm happy to see her smiling and with straight hair too! It's probably a good thing for her to have not went on the strike. Having all the spotlight lately probably makes it hard.

Yup that's what I posted in TC. But I wonder why Gillian didn't attend the strike at the government? Maybe she doesn't want to think about those sad stuff again? But it doesn't matter. I'm just happy now that Gillian is smiling again!

Amongst all of this chaos, Gillian still stands strongly, actually, even stronger than before. I'm so happy to see so many people supporting Gillian. Anyway, sorry I've been away, it's school, a new semester but don't worry, I'll return with lots of feedback and replies because of course, I'll always support Gillian. Anyway, I haven't checked my email for ages and when I finally did, TELA responded back with a thank you thing; I guess they send it to everyone once they've reviewed your complaint form because I just got it this Aug. 29th. Yay, my complaint has been counted; boy, they're pretty slow though because I emailed it in for almost 3-4 days already. I'm glad to see you here and thanks a lot for sharing this with us. I am so happy as well to see Gillian smile. It's a wonderful feeling that everything is slowly turning in the right direction again.

Thanks for this clip! Gillian looks very excited here. She was the fastest one to bring the children out when the host said "white mouse"!! It's pretty sad when she said when she went home she started to cry because she was touched.

just came back from vacation and it was so horrible the whole time without a computer, not knowing the latest updates on gill. i read all of the news posted and i'm extremely happy that gillian is slowly starting to smile once again (and the fact that her hair is straight ). i'm also thrilled that so many stars from all parts of the entertainment business have united to take a stand against the tabloid through functions and of course the strike (the t-shirts the stars wore said it all). i'm touched by all of the celebs as i think gill is because we all know gill needs all the support she can get right now.

getting back to before this horrible event occurred, i dug up news on the filming of Let's Steal Together. i know that everyone on this thread is probably preoccupied with the thought of how gillian is doing right now, but i've decided to post up the news (even though some of it has been repeated) anyway. after reading these pieces of news, i feel even more sympathetic towards gill since leading up to the incidence, her work load was already very damaging towards her health. i guess this just proves how strong,professional, and determined (among other wonderful characteristic aspects) gillian really is, since she's able to hold up during these hard times despite the fact that she has and still is constantly working:

(5/17/2006) Emperor and Sundream's collaboration SEUNG JI SUN TAU (TWIN
GODLY THIEVES) will start production in June. Recently Sundream has begun
its "twin" actors recruitment. No matter the age, any twins can
participate. After over a week of recruitment many letters have been
received. Because the recruitment footage was aired on Cable and
Satellite, twins from all over the country have written to audition. The
film has not eliminated a Mainland audition tour.
Producer Tsui Siu Ming expressed, "We are recruiting so many
twins because in one scene over 100 pairs of twins will appear." He hoped
to be able to find twins of different ages, even from age 1 to 100 from
around the world.
Twins were the ones who started the recruitment. The source came
from their assistant. Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin said, "Our assistant and
her sister are twins. Once we learned that twins were one of the film's
elements, we immediately suggested for them to perform." Gillian Chung
Yun Tung also expressed, "Their identities were a rare complete match for
the film. If we can perform with them, I believe it would be rather
funny and very unforgettable." They joked that they could be their
assistant's manager and negotiated the shoot arrangements and details.

(7/21/2006) Twins earlier met with LET'S STEAL TOGETHER (SEUNG JI SUN
TAU) producers Tsui Siu Ming and Amy Li Fung Ming in preparation of the
shoot. Tsui Siu Ming has drawn out many important fight scenes for them.
Fight scene fan Gillian Chung Yun Tung was very attentive and even
Charlene Choi Chuek Yin said it was a lot of fun.
Ah Sa said, "I like fight scenes and wire work because I can fly
in the air. In addition my fights don't look good enough, wire work can
make up for my shortcoming." Ah Gil who has always wanted to be an action star was a little afraid of wire work. "Earlier I was injured on the wire
so I am a little afraid."
As for the earlier twin recruitment, they have persuaded their
friends to participate. "Ah Gil and I have invited manager Mani and her
sister to perform but she was unwilling. What a shame." (i never knew that Mani had a twin )

(7/24/2006) Twins and Sun Boy'z Steven Cheung Chi Hung recently have
been busy with the film LET'S STEAL TOGETHER (SEUNG JI SUN TAU). Gillian
Chung Yun Tung earlier for one scene hung on wires for two hours, during
which she has asked the director to stop temporarily. However the
director did not hear her. Thus when she was lowered she could not help
but cried.
Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin was surprised because Ah Gil was not
someone who easily cried. Thus at the time she did not know what to do.
Ah Gil said, "Right! She at the time only knew to tell me not to cry and
eat her fries." Ah Gil explained that she was not crying from the pain,
but why did the director not lower her to rest after a long time on the
wire? She has expressed that she needed a break, but she did not expect
the director not to hear her. He even pointed out that her kick was
great and asked her to do it again. After ten time the director was
finally satisfied. Ah Sa also said that after a nap she still saw Ah Gil
in the air. She too has been on the wire at 4AM and worked nonstop.
As for the casting of Jason Wu Jing in place of Tian Liang, Twins
expressed that they were not disappointed and believed that in the future
they would have a chance to work together again. As for Steven he played
a sex shop boss. He joked that originally he had a Hong Kong version
blow up doll, which was stolen during the shoot and he could only change
to a nationally produced Mary (blow up doll). (ok this movie is starting to sound STRANGE)

(7/26/2006) The Beijing Silver Dream, Hong Kong Sundream Pictures and
Emperor Motion Picture invested HK$24 million film LET'S STEAL TOGETHER
(SEUNG JI SUN TAU) shot a circus scene with Twins, Steven Cheung Chi Hung,
and Cheung Sai two nights ago. Twins in the film had to act with a
hippopotamus, a goat, a monkey, and a tiger, but they were the most
afraid of birds because of the bird flu. Producers Tsui Siu Ming and Amy
Li Fung Ming also visited the set.
In the film Twins had to steal a heavenly pearl with Jason Wu
Jing. They played circus performers. Two nights ago they performed a
pyramid with two hippopotami, a goat, and a monkey, but the animals were
hard to control. For example the wet hippopotamus often shook its tail
and hit Gillian Chung Yun Tung who was next to it. (awww poor gill) Earlier they even
performed with a tiger. Although it was in a cage, it was struggling and
throwing a tantrum. Yet Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin expressed that she was
the most afraid of birds and eagles because she was afraid of bird flu.
They have been working for days. With the lack of circulation
system on the set, the climate was muggy and hot and they wiped their
sweat while working. Even Ah Sa's portable air conditioner was useless.
Earlier they played acrobats and had to fly back and forth on wires.
They had to personally perform some scenes, but having to wear the tight
white costume was the most embarrassing as their figures were completely
revealed. When asked which part that they felt that the most embarrassed
about, Ah Sa joked, "They are all important areas." Ah Sa also pointed
out that she did not know how to fight and was afraid of injuring Wu Jing
in their fight scene because her punches were blind. Ah Gil joked, "They
could kill old masters." Ah Sa pointed out that earlier in a scene in
which she had to push Ah Gil she hurt her because she did not know her own
strength.
Steven in the film played a sex shop boss. Earlier he shot in a
sex shop, which widened his eyes. Steven said that he has never received
any sex tool but he has received a pair of thong. He felt that underwear
had to cover his rear to be comfortable. When he tried on the thong he
was shivering. He joked that the thong looked tempting but was very
uncomfortable to wear.
Wu Jing in the film played twins, one who was raised by a Lama and
the other passed away due to cancer. The film's original lead was
national diving athlete Tian Liang, but later reportedly because he had to
focus on training and did not want to remain too high key he resigned and
Wu Jing took the role.
As soon as reporters mentioned Tian Liang, Wu Jing said, "I know
what you want to talk about. I don't want to sound official, but before
taking the role I really didn't know anything. Brother Siu Ming has
always been very supportive of me. I respect me a lot, so when he called
me in Beijing I agreed." As for being the second choice, Ng Jing
expressed that he would not mind since he has been in the business for
years. In addition he did not know about the news beforehand. In the
film he had scenes with Twins. Would he watch them during the action
scenes? He said of course he would because it was his responsibility.
Wu Jing earlier had stomach infection, low white blood cell count and
lower immunity and had to stay in a hospital for three days. He explained
that perhaps due ot the constant night shoots, with all the action and
wire work, the lack of sleep from the heat and the lack of appetite he was
completely weaken.
Cheung Sai had a relationship with Wu Jing in the film. His
brother in the story had cancer. She honestly said that she did not want
to mention the disease because her father passed away from it. As for
fight scenes with Wu Jing, Cheung Sai said that she did not know.

aww..poor gill..she has to suffer so much for filming this movie..especially the part where she hang for 2 hours..

i don't believe it, i was reading the latest news on gill on yahoo and there was an article that says that now in mainland china another magazine has started to use gill's photos as the front cover, taiwan has a magazine like that aswell and some "dirty" magazines are using Gill as their front cover

you know what that makes me sick, how can they do that to Gill, geez i mean one magazine is enough but to have it spread all over the place is just plain sick. 【太陽報專訊】《壹本便利(相關新聞 - 網站)》偷拍及刊登藝人鍾欣桐(相關新聞 - 網站)（阿嬌(相關新聞 - 網站)）更衣照的事件引發全城憤怒，受害人阿嬌一度擔心被偷拍的照片會在其他地方出現，想不到憂慮成真，北京一本娛樂刊物《演藝圈周刊》，新廣 告

一期的內容竟「照辦煮碗」轉載《壹本便利》的封面以至阿嬌的四張更衣照片。阿嬌經理人霍汶希得悉後直斥內地傳媒為促銷而轉載的不道德做法，簡直是在受害者的傷口上灑鹽，行為令人憤慨。國家新聞出版總署和北京市新聞出版局已就此事展開調查。

以「致命的疏忽，換衣過程被拍，阿嬌哭訴事實真相」作為封面故事的《演藝圈周刊》，以三版篇幅報道阿嬌被偷拍事件，又刊登四張偷拍的更衣照片，儼如內地版的《壹本便利》。由於《演藝圈周刊》在北京及廣州等均有出售，不少報攤已售罄，連台灣也有色情雜誌以阿嬌偷拍照作封面。

稱港合作機構供照片

《演藝圈周刊》編輯張宇航昨日對本報表示，他們刊登的照片是由香港有關合作機構購買版權後供應的。但他未能說出具體是由哪一合作機構提供，張表示他們只負責編輯排版記者交回的稿件，並不干涉過問資料的來源，所以是次刊登的有關相片來源和版權問題他並不知情。張宇航又表示，有關版權的問題是由老闆賴亮和香港方面洽談。由於賴現時在美國出差，故未能回應。

不過，《演藝圈周刊》轉載《壹本便利》的偷拍照片，即時引起國家新聞出版總署及北京市新聞出版局的注意，國家新聞出版總署發言人指出，國家對報刊、雜誌等新聞媒體有嚴格監管機制，嚴禁雜誌出版不健康的內容，若發現違規會嚴肅查處。北京市新聞出版局報刊處亦指出，嚴禁期刊刊登低俗的圖片和內容，若有雜誌社涉及非法使用新聞資料或圖片，將受到法律制裁。該處已接獲對有關周刊的投訴，會就事件作出審讀和調查。

律師會籲阿嬌報公安

阿嬌的情緒近日終穩定下來，她日前出席公開場合時曾提及擔心遭偷拍的照片，會再在《壹本便利》甚至其他預計不到的地方出現，因此英皇藝人管理部總監霍汶希昨日得悉有內地雜誌轉載阿嬌換衫照後，感到非常憤慨：「我嚴重斥責有關刊物為促銷而轉載，係受害者傷口上灑鹽，佢咁做好唔。」

香港律師會內地法律事務委員會委員黃江天指出，根據內地《治安管理處罰法》第四十二條，若透過偷竊、偷拍、散布他人私隱，可被起訴，最高罰則為五天以下的拘留及罰款五百元以下，若情節嚴重，可作五至十天拘留及罰款五百元。他認為阿嬌可報公安作刑事檢控，亦可透過民事索償。婦女權益聯盟發言人伍婉婷批評，該內地周刊是趁機借事件牟利，只會更加宣揚事件。

此外，阿嬌昨午由助手陪同下返回英皇總部會晤律師，商討有關控告《壹本便利》等程序事宜。據悉，阿嬌的口供經律師覆核，已由律師呈交警方

I've never been so pissed off in my entire life before until now.

Looking at those photos of Gillian in tears I couldn't help but be in tears myself. It broke my heart seeing her in so much tears just crying her heart out because that person had no values, no morals whatsoever to do something so ridiculous and hideous to Gillian.
After watching Gillian's interview, my heart was in pain with her. I feel like I felt her pain.
I wish I knew who it was and just smack the living shiet out of him or her.

Thanks for the information and also for the article about S.H.E., Nicholas, and Grace's responses, it's great to see how supportive S.H.E. are towards this incident.

Hopefully, Easy Finder will cooperate and return everything and I mean everything back to Gillian because with technology these days, it's difficult to trust people like them who can always return and bite you in the butt.

Gillian’s emotions have gotten a lot more stabilized and attended a public function expressing that she is afraid of a repeated situation. I've also read the article you just posted and I agree with asillysaint. It's great to know that artists from other Asian countries such as S.H.E and Tao Hong are supporting Gillian too. For now I hope that the mtv concert tomorrow will go smoothly and that the reporters in Taiwan won't bring up the incident again, because I don't think that's going to make her feel any better, when she always get reminded of the thing that happened.

Yes, it is great to see the court giving justice to this case. I really don't understand why this Jimmy Lai is so firm on not apologizing though. I heard that during an interview, he announced that he isn't going to apologize nor is he going to make any punishments to the employees responsible. What kind of a guy is that? Usually when practically the whole HK is protesting, it should mean something, shouldn't it? It's great to hear that they've put a stop from making the situation any worse for Gillian, but I really wish that they could do something about that Jimmy guy. What gives him the right to be so whatever about it, as if nothing's wrong?

That article was really good; Gillian is such a sweet girl from Tao Hong's description. They're also much closer than I thought they were. Hearing S.H.E. say something about this was good as well because their blessings to Gillian just proves how unnecessary it is for Twins fans and S.H.E. fans to be out killing each other. Of course, the more support, the better. Gillian is getting to be extra careful because she said she isn't going to change during the MTV concert but rather go there dressed for the occasion. I think the reporters in Taiwan are going to speak of this incident because they simply wouldn't let the opportunity of interviewing Gillian about this pass by while she's in Taiwan, unless Gillian rejects the interviews. It would be understandable if she did since constantly bringing up the issue wouldn't do anything good to the victim.

Um, I'm working on an All About Gillian music video, a Kenny-Charlene mtv, a love triangle between Edison-Gillian-Shawn, and 3 Edison-Gillian videos since they're the best pair. This is just based on the current songs and assembled clips I have so far so anything can change because it really takes some effort to completing it nicely. There are so many great songs; I just don't have enough clips to create these storylines and music videos without repeating a lot of the scenes in previous music videos so hopefully, you guys won't get tired of them. I wanted to make a music video pairing Nic-Gillian but since Nic and Ceci are back together, I guess it's just courteous to leave them alone. And then, I cancelled the Wilson-Gillian mtv, just because. Since I'm already pairing Kenny-Charlene, I decided not to include Kenny-Gillian anymore.

I really wanted to create a solo Gillian music video using the song of You're the Bravest, the Little_Purple_Bell version but since someone already used that song as a basis for their solo Gillian music video, I guess I'll just enjoy her video, thanks Briana for the lovely video. Oh yeah, I also want to make a music video out of Gillian's Mandarin solo too unless someone else wants to? That's fine with me, either way.

Well, I'm glad that some justice is being served on Gillian's behalf but in a way, no one is being punished so far, that's probably why this Jimmy guy is so tough and unwilling to apologize nor punish his employees. Returning the film, the photos, the whole ordeal to Gillian is the most minimal penalty the courts are doing; I mean, this Jimmy guy and his associates already gained enough profits through Gillian's pictures, it's not going to dent their pockets much by finally returning them back to Gillian at the moment.

Yeah, S.H.E. are pretty supportive and blunt with their answers but the sweetest one was Tao Hong. Just in Beyond Our Ken itself, Tao Hong and Gillian already shared so much chemistry with each other off and on-screen, it's not a surprise Tao Hong loves and cares for Gillian as a xiao mei.

Yeah, the Taiwanese media will definitely try to open Gillian's mouth on a few issues especially when some Taiwanese porno magazines have used Gillian's photos as a cover but hopefully, their questions will be of concerns and support, not to chew Gillian out.

Hm, I find Kenny a bit too weak in a way lol. Since Sa is more sassy and Kenny is the silent type, they match. Edison is a bad boy whereas Gillian is an angel, they match. Gillian and Kenny also match physically but since Gillian already once said that chances between her and Kenny are slim due to the lack of chemistry/sparks, I guess, I'll respect that. Plus, Kenny-Charlene have tons of chemistry onscreen, they're cuter together but definitely, I'm not going to back down on Edison-Gillian for sure. Yeah, I'm going to create a music video solely on Gillian; I haven't done that before and plus Gillian has been experiencing some tough issues, it'll be nice to just focus on Gillian this time around. Yeah, I really dislike Shawn but I do think that he's decent looking though and can't wait to watch him in Diary but I just want to push Shawn off the love triangle thing lol. Yup, 3 Edison-Gillian music videos coming soon; I just absolutely adore them two together. According to some news I've read...one of the songs which they will be performing is 'You are the bravest'.
