I'd just like to point out, I wasn't complaining, I was disagreeing with some opinions...
I don't want to argue, however. I suppose it would just be easier for me to keep my opinions to myself from now on. I'd rather there just be peace between the forums.
I must apologize if I came out too strong but after visiting the Sa thread, my mood was quite tense but I'm okay now. I guess, we will always have different perspective on things. I mean why wouldn't we, we even have different group names, like Gillian Fans and Sa fans so nothing strange about disagreements. And no, we're not always discussing about bias issues, we're simply exhanging insights about Gillian's current well being. We wouldn't be complaining if there was noting to point out. We aren't complaining about songs like
You're the Bravest or
I Really Want To Love Him because both Twins have equal parts but the music videos, different story and I'm sure even as a Sa fan, it's pretty evident that the music videos were geared towards who; whether you found that to be bias or not, that is your own judgment.

I'll reply later, but I'd just like to share that this upcoming album is actually going to have four covers. May I add that the other two are much nicer than the ones we've seen?
Well, in the perspective of a Gillian fan anyway. Still, even though these covers have Gillian in the front more, it's still not as distinct as the Charlene-based covers.
I kinda like this one:

I still think they both look weird in this set of photos:
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b312/Bel...015354_0_02.jpg I like that one too. Both Twins look great in swimming suits plus their smiles do create a carefree tone, perfect for their theme. And yes, the second cover whether it be the one where Sa is in front or Gillian, they still look funky; perhaps, the color?

You know what? I'd much rather have this be the ONLY cd cover that they have for this cd.

This is the poster that goes with the cd, this one looks SO much better IMO because of the BEAUTIFUL dress and the way it was taken. It looks much more suitable for a cover compared to the other ones.
And here's another picture that hasn't been posted yet.

I don't get why they have so much 'serious' face ones (where they look weird AND mean) when the title of this cd is 'Ho Hoo Tan' which means to greatly enjoy in chinese, so shouldn't they be much more happier? Also, I don't really like these serious pictures, they just look weird, well for the ones with the white dress. And the shadows on the faces are BAD, whoever took these pictures should have taken some with much less shadow, it would have looked nicer. Ooo, I like Twins' summer fun dresses, so pretty. I think I like Gillian's baby blue gown more though; it's more gentle to the eyes. I mean, out in the sun and all and to see a hot orange dress too, that's cute and sexy, but a bit rough on the eyes. Gillian's colors are lighter and more relaxing to look at. Though I wouldn't mind Sa's dress either.
Haha, yup, what is up with the serious and mean poses? Have Twins finally matured out of their bubbly images?

I guess so. Let's just be happy of how Gillian gets a solo song that is solely sang by Gillian Chung instead of having to share it with someone else.
I believe that the duet version will be better off though since it technically is the exact song that is being plugged, and we've had a history on these issues. If Gillian has made it on her own before, she might as well do it again. Her Mandarin solo proves it; the numbers on the news can faked, the charts could possibly be rigged, but for the times that each person looks up Gillian's solo online to be rigged is fairly slim. The moderators of Baidu wouldn't do it because it's one of the largest search engines in China, so they won't have the time to do that. A group of fans couldn't have done it continuously because they would never succeed in such a short time; therefore, that leaves us the fact that Gillian's solo was well-liked, hence it sat at first place on the Baidu chart. I really hope this won't be the closest that Gillian will get to working with the Pang Brothers. A part of the OST? Psh.
Did someone seriously come up with the reason that EEG didn't want to leave Gillian out?
Well, I'm sure that no one would really buy it as a reason.
Like you've said, if EEG's done it multiple times of leaving Gillian out, why would they suddenly do the opposite? The one and only reason for them to include Gillian is because EEG wants to indirectly plug Charlene's song. Not that it is Charlene's fault, but it's most likely is an intention of EEG's. Ah, you know what they say, ignorant bliss is always a good thing. Things will stay joyful as long as you don't find out the truth. That is exactly why I am going to stay put in here with my analyzing of Gillian's latest matters instead of disagreeing with a bunch of people elsewhere. Everyone has their opinions, so I'll just have to respect that. Indeed, I am most thankful that Gillian even has a solo in this album but I would be even more grateful if Gillian's solo turned out to be an emotional ballad. Gillian has already sang fast songs live during their concert and has already tackled a ballad on family importance, it's about time Gillian expresses the deeper and romantic Gillian through a sorrowful heart jerking ballad. I just can't wait. Yes, yes. That's why I brought up Baidu's Chart as evidence that Gillian Chung is a favored artist among others as her solo surfaced up to Number 1 once and remained on the chart for several months. The task of maintaining Gillian's solo up in the Top 100 is not a simple one so it was quite impossible for a group of dedicated fans to achieve that especially when fans are still loyal to both Twins. Some news and official charts aren't always accurate so I completely agree that it was Gillian herself that succeeded and penetrated through the hearts of the wide audience which includes both Twins fans and non-fans all around. Like some people have stated, Gillian's solo wasn't the most catchy nor interesting song, even I liked Sa's solo more, but immediately when Gillian sings, there is just something about Gillian's voice that intrigues and captivates you. Sometimes, songs are just songs, ballads are just full of emotions that have no direction but as for Gillian, her voice becomes the soul of the song, so lively, so vibrant, so amazing, that is what makes an ordinary song become extraordinary for us.

Me too. Hopefully, 2007 will be a better year for Gillian and her films.
Believe it or not, not one but almost every Sa fan at the Sa thread are using that so called reason. That's funny, can someone explain to me why EEG would all of a sudden, miraculously care about Gillian? Yeah, that's what I thought. No answer huh.
I should take your advice. I should avoid clashes; I am pretty tired of them now too.

I heard something about it coming out in time to celebrate Chinese New Year? I'm not sure though; Gillian should at least go to some of them since she techincally is one of the leads. Anyway, the thing that I'm most interested in is if Gillian will get some time to herself in the singing area while Charlene's busy with her films. Charlene more than likely will have to attend each and every function of 'Diary' because she's the main character, mind you there definitely will be A LOT of functions; whereas, Gillian won't be required to go as often since the promotions are in Mainland, and Nie Yuan is technically the person who absolutely has to be there, along wtih Athena.
I really want Gillian to be able to gain more confidence in her singing though; she's been getting so confident in her recent performances, so I'd want her confidence to continue building up. If Gillian's solo is a good enough song, which I say if it's an emotional ballad it should be quite good with Gillian's voice, then EEG really should plug it while Gillian's schedule is pretty empty during Charlene's promotions of her film. Then it'll increase the chance of Gillian actually performing her solo song. Since this year's songs haven't been that spectacular, wouldn't it be nice if Gillian's solo actually broke its way into the top ten of the year?! That'd be such a great launch to Gillian's future solo career.
Okay, I'm getting ahead of myself, but I'd be delighted to see happen. Twins' schedules really aren't that full at the moment; they only have about three functions that they're needing to attend, and Charlene has the functions of her two films that she has to go to. For Gillian, there's not much. All the better reason for her to get some spotlight to herself.
I agree that Mani does have a lot of power in what happens with Twins. In that article that she wrote, she said that Gillian felt unhappy and doesn't know how to face up to children, and Mani just brings her to the child function with a twist of her magic so that Gillian can be present with the young children and be happy.
Perhaps this incident wasn't that bad in some aspect since Mani seems so much more supportive of Gillian now. Hopefully, Mani will do her magic once more with Gillian's solo.
Gillian's schedule is quite empty. Well, I hope Gillian will have opportunities to at least sing a few of Twins' Mandarin songs from
Around the World With 80 Dollars as music awards approach like last year. I wouldn't mind listening to Gillian perform songs like
You're the Bravest or most likely,
I Really Want To Love Him. Either one, I just want Gillian to get plenty of practice singing solo and attending functions by herself so people can stop criticizing her as being too dependent on Sa.

Mani. She is the key to Gillian's door of opportunities; hopefully, the incident has brought Mani and Gillian closer than before so some barriers can be broken.
Aw, the script to Andrew Lau's film does sound decent but I doubt Gillian will be the one who participates in this film at the end even if Andrew requests Gillian first, another deja vu of what happened to the Pang Brothers.

I mean, look at it! 1. Andrew Lau, a highly respected director. 2. International collaboration 3. Mega Stars as the cast

Sounds like a Sa promotion to me.

Though I do hope that I'm wrong.
Go Gillian~
