Those photos are fake for a fact. One, some people online have already found which Gillian's head came from and confirmed that she does not own that necklace that the nude body is wearing. Two, the nude body is in the shower, but she had pants on, just topless. If someone were to really take a shower, I doubt that they'd leave their pants on. It's obvious that there's a person out there who has too much time on his hands and decided to create a topless Gillian for his own entertainment, but didn't realize how fake it looks.


I think there'll be a possibilty for a solo MV of Gillian's. 'You Are Not A Good Lover' will no doubt have a MV because they'll probably take scenes from 'Diary' to assemble the MV; in that case, it'll be the Twins version getting the scenes of 'Diary', and maybe they'll film a MV separately for the solo version. Or it could be vice versa? I mean, for 'Fishball Song', they still generously gave Gillian four scenes of the entire MV to show that she's taking part in the singing of the song. So perhaps the duet version will be the one filmed separately so that they'll give a few scenes to Gillian while the solo version will get the scenes from 'Diary' since they'll have no problem finding scenes from the film to match the song, and it's also solely based on Charlene. That's what happened for 'Next Stop Diva Queen'. As for Gillian's solo, I'm not sure what they can do. They can't do what they did for her last Cantonese solo since Gillian doesn't have a film to take scenes from to assemble the MV; three possibilites: 1) They don't film one for her solo at all. 2) They film a MV separately for her solo. 3) Gillian's going to film a movie, and her solo is going to be the themesong; they will then take scenes from it to make the MV.

The third idea is a bit far fetched, but it could happen. I just hope it isn't the first possibility. Hopefully, Gillian's solo will have a MV, one with decent quality. Perhaps they could take those deleted scenes from the 'Conscience Discovery' MV to make Gillian's solo MV, but I'm not sure if I want it to be since Gillian had curly hair back then. I kinda want to see her straight hair in her solo MV. Argh, I guess anything's good as long as she does get a MV.

I don’t argee that Joey and Yumiko are gillian best friends afther the incident Charlene has proven to me that she is gillian best friend not Joey or Yumiko. Joey and Yumiko are good friends but Charlene has proven she is Gillian best friend and partner forever she was by gill side the whole time therein The Incident and ever got gill to smile therein the worst times she has supported gill the whole time going to the protests and everything. Joey and Yumiko supported Gillian to but mostly whit words they did not take much action to support gill like Charlene did. I Believe Charlene when she said that she and Gillian are a team No matter what happens to either one of them it a problem of two people I love her for saying that and think Gillian and Charlene's relationship is real and sweet. Hopefully, the duet version of the song won't be so disappointing like Next Stop Diva Queen. Oh yeah, you're right. EEG did create a music video of Gillian's solo last time but luckily, both Twins had their own movie to insert scenes from. This time around, sadly, Gillian doesn't have a film so I'm not quite sure either on what will result of Gillian's solo. Perhaps EEG might not even film solo music videos and only have the duet version with scenes from Diary. But I would again, love it if EEG did produce a high quality music video of Gillian's solo.

Indeed, both Twins are still very close to one another, even Gillian publically thanked Sa for being next to her side during those darkest moments. Well, I look at it this way, the reporters/media only releases what they want while filtering the rest. Joey and Yumiko may not have pubically announced their support, only through brief warm responses, but we really don't know how they consoled Gillian behind the cameras. It's hard to say. Just judging from functions and Gillian's level of comfort, Gillian seems really relaxed and carefree next to Joey and Yumiko and they don't even attend that many functions together either compared to Twins. Perhaps during events, there will always be someone waiting for one Twin or the other to fall so that creates tension even both Twins cannot avoid. There seems to always be someone who constantly criticizes Gillian while praising Sa. And as a matter of fact, that one article, that one Sa fan who rejected Gillian's handshake, and that one marker incident are examples. I'm not saying that Sa isn't Gillian's best friend or that she is because I honestly can only guess but that doesn't mean that Gillian can't have several best friends right? Sa, Yumiko, and Joey have brought out laughter and smiles from Gillian, that is all that matters, really.

Thanks, um, I do my manipulations based on my own, when I saw others doing manipulations I thought that it was cool, so I tried making one on my own, my first one was really bad, and then the ones afterwords were okay. I just find pictures to manipulation with. I first check with the angle of the picture and the face shape, to see if it's manipulatable (lol probably not a word but whatever). Then I just cut at the face of a Gillian picture with a similar angle and good facial expression. Then I paste it on until the size is right, and then I erase some parts of Gillian's face, depending on how much I need to erase to make it match. And then I go for the skin tone. Sometimes I change Gillian's skin tone, and sometines I change the original person's skin tones. It just all really depends. I've had plenty of manipulations that just didn't look right to where I just stopped in the middle of doing it and some (like a recent one) where even though I finished it, it looks just plain bad to where I delete the file. =D

I usually change the head, if the original picture of Gillian's hair being cut off would make it look weird, I would keep it there and just erase extra hair of Gillian's around the hair of the original person.

Sorry if what I just said was confusing, I'm bad at explaining things. =/

I love this first one, so refreshing and carefree yet sexy. Gillian's face seems alright, at least to me. The second one is just gorgeous! I love the fancy touches and hair on Gillian along with the red makeup around her eyes, I wish Gillian would have an opportunity to shoot some similar magazine or advertisement shots. The third one is just, speechless, literally! I love everything, the way Gillian is standing, her facial expression, the wardrobe, the background, and the dark colors that bring out the lavenderness of the beautiful unique gown! anyway, i agree, i hope gillian's song is a ballad. fast songs are fun, but really i so wish that gillian would have a love song to sing. those are the kind of songs where they enhance your vocals. it's so easy to sing fast songs, which is why most of time singers don't get the credit they deserve, since you can't hear how well they sound in upbeat melodies.

I already heard Gillian sing solo fast songs back in January, I want something new and refreshing. Gillian's previous solo was about family, this time, I also request that Gillian sing about love since Mani so claimed that Gillian is like a pure fairy in everyone's hearts, mind as well encourage Gillian in singing a love song, if fans so so [sarcasm] love Gillian as the jade girl, they should also support the one hearted, sorrowful, and romantic Gillian as well. Plus, there is no point of Gillian singing a fast song. I like fast songs but sexy ones like Joey's, not the bubbly childish ones of Twins'. The only songs that were not for elementary students were a few fast songs in the Magic and Girl Power albums. Other else than those songs, seems like Twins' songs have regressed back to being cute like how they pulled it off in the beginning, which isn't appealing anymore. I doubt EEG will ever allow Gillian to dance so seductively like Joey and dress like that during performances so there is no need for Gillian to sing a fast song she can't even fully portray. If Gillian's song is a fast song, better be a catchy one. I so want to see Gillian dance solo onstage with an extremely sexy outfit. Gillian did dance solo during Twins' The Missing Piece Concert but technically, that wasn't dancing, it was martial arts so this time around, I really anticipate on watching Gillian dance sexily onstage if her solo is a fast song and sing emotionally, if it's a love song.

The fast songs Twins sing is so kiddish. Do they expect people to dance to that? I don't understand why they're heading back in the direction they started at. When 'Girl Power' came out, I thought it would be the beginning of something new. I loved that album and practically everything about it. Sadly, the albums after that went back to them being cute, which I have to say is beginning to bore me, ok wait no, I'm already bored. I really don't think they need to stay at where they found success. Seriously, there needs to be some changes. Fans are going to get tired of this image and these songs. True though, since EEG is so protective of Gillian's jade girl image, it'd be unlikely that they'd allow her to dance and dress seductively. So there's no point in that, but it'd be nice to see Gillian on stage dancing solo. Either way, ballad or no ballad, it's ok, as long as the song is decent and hopefully mature, I'll be semi-happy. I'll be completely satisfied and more if the song gets plugged.

This album is quite secretive. The songs were recorded secretly without any report on it throughout the year, so it was already in progress during their Mandarin album. I suppose the reason that 'Around The World With 80 Dollars' was so revealed is because they needed the exposure and promotion for the Mandarin albums, but EEG just didn't put enough effort into it afterwards. Really, nothing beyond the surface has been released about the album, so hopefully it won't disappoint us. Oh my, it's just a few days!!

Earlier, a_gill expressed that 'Cherry Red Guitar' is composed by Gillian, but there isn't anything to confirm it. I want to know if she wrote any lyrics or composed any other songs though. Gillian was asked about what she would write if she got to write lyrics, so I'd find it like a rip-off if she didn't write any. It's like why ask then? Perhaps the part about being the producer really is solely on being the producer, not relating to composing or writing lyrics or the solos. The producer's job is solely to guide the singer into what the best way to sing the song is, and to correct their mistakes, so perhaps Gillian and Charlene are being producers and guiding themselves and each other in a Twins song, Gillian in charge of one of the ballads and Charlene in charge of a fast song, instead of how we assumed it to be the solos. As for what they wrote and composed, they are perhaps different songs.


I hope that Gillian took some kind of behind the scenes role for her solo as well since it just makes it more special, as you've mentioned. It would be so awesome if Gillian did everything for it. Perhaps she composed the melody, wrote the lyrics, and then she's also the producer for her solo ballad. Then maybe Charlene is the producer for a Twins song, possibly the themesong of their film. The chance seems slim, but it would be cool if that's the case. Do you guys think that maybe this time, the duet and solo version of Charlene's song will have slightly different lyrics? The recent songs that have two versions tend to have different lyrics, just to make it 'different'. If 'Cherry Red Guitar' is composed by Gillian, then it means that her composing is acceptable to be put into an album.

This album will at least have one song composed by Ronald Ng because at one time, he posted on his site that he was currently busy working on Twins', Kelly's and Janice's albums, etc. It seems more likely for his song to be a Twins song though.

Hoepfully, her solo will be a ballad since a ballad is the thing that can challenge a singer and help you improve. With fast songs, you can just hide the flaws here and there, or people will be more lenient since the singer will probably have to dance along with it. I agree of why singers rarely receive credit for fast songs.


I agree. Gillian has already proven herself to be able to sing fast, mature songs, so I believe she should get a chance at a challenging, heartbreaking ballad. She deserves the chance for a challenge because she has proven that she has good vocals during the concert in January and made many improvements. It's a good point about the 'Jade Girl' fact, shouldn't a jade girl be pure and mature to some extent? In that case, I don't think Gillian should be in charge of a kiddish elementary song, but rather a ballad that can capture the hearts of everyone; it suits the jade girl image, doesn't it? As for a mature and catchy fast song like Joey's, it barely seems possible since it's so 'against' the jade girl image for Gillian to have a personal song like that, even though Gillian has done it before on-stage. Since Gillian's always been known to be the 'more mature' one, then hopefully her solo won't be selling the word 'cute' all over. An emotional ballad should do the trick; just imagine it, Gillian's heartbreaking voice leading your tears to slide down, wouldn't that cause people to fall in love with her even more? Hopefully, EEG will think of what we're thinking and not disappoint us with Gillian's solo.

Hm...Gillian singing fast song? I bet she could totally do it since she sang Joey's and Jordan's song at the The Missing Piece concert. It would be hot if Jordan and Gillian had a duet with the same song. Gillian voice totally fit that.

I agree. I really hope that Gillian receives an opportunity to show off her skills in writing/composing. It just makes the entire album much more interesting and memorable. If the song is promoted enough, recognized, and widely accepted, perhaps when Twins release their third Mandarin album, if any, perhaps the duet will be turned into a different song in Mandarin.

I was just done listening to Gillian sing those karaoke songs, the slow emotional ballads and boy, I really really pray that Gillian's solo is a ballad! I just love how Gillian expresses her sorrowful voice. A good song is just a good song but a good song that is guided with a good singer like Gillian will become something phenomenal and sensationally accepted, fans or not.

　　(星島日報報道)Twins下半年回歸本地樂壇，本周五推出全新廣東大碟《ho hoo TAN》，為隆重其事更遠赴塞班島拍攝水靚景，是繼Twins在首張唱片拍攝陽光與海灘後，數年後作第2次水造型。

　　今次新碟為回饋樂迷，落重本製作76頁Twins塞班之旅寫真集，2款巨型海報及3首MV、塞班假期製作花絮等，隨碟附送，故阿Sa與阿嬌起行前做足準備工夫，帶備30套服裝過去拍攝。另由於一連4天在室外拍攝，二人為免由早上拍到太陽落山會變燒豬，太陽油、防曬品、及保濕面膜擠滿行李箱。二人又透露拍攝期間發生的小插曲，適逢當地水母換觸鬚季節，當時坐在橡皮艇上拍攝，由3位工作人員站在水中固定橡皮艇的位置

，突然聽見其中兩位工作人員大叫一聲後衝了上岸，只剩下一位同事繼續緊守崗位，但Twins一時間未察覺發生何事。直至拍攝完，與剩下的同事上岸後，見對方滿身通紅還要立即送院，始知剛才兩位同事被脫落的水母觸鬚炸到後立即衝上岸，可憐剩下那位同事給炸個不停，結果嚴重至留院治理。Twins事後得知對方為怕翻船令她們同樣被水母觸鬚炸而堅守下來，令二人感動不已並立即致電回港表揚對方。

　　另外，阿Sa在新碟中參與作曲，作品《你不是好情人》由林夕填詞，將繼首支主打《熱浪假期》後成為第2主打歌。碟內還收錄了她們主演新片《雙子神偷》主題曲《天下有雙》。新碟又獲大批廣告商支持，贊助「Tan Tan Twins塞班熱浪假期大抽獎」，並大送月餅及瑜伽試玩等優惠。

heya i'm new at this forum, but I have been a twins fan for quite a while. I was aware of them ever since the beginning, but only started likeing them later. Still, i love them to bits!!!! BTW, i love Twins, not just gillie and not just char. just wanted to make that clear. anyways, i've been keepin up with stuff and i just wanted to say i was very happy to see this many gillian fans. does anyone know the history of gill's names? like, she had one and then changed it to Zhong Xin Tung, ya know? and any story to the meaning of the name? oh yeah, my aim screen names are DragonGal51 and TwinzSaGill, so im me if ure on!!!!!

I'm not going to even bother translating because I stink at it but for one, I skimmed it and there's really nothing interesting about Gillian and the album. Just the same old news about Twins traveling to that one island/beach to film the music videos, the album may include a Twins pictorial book, music videos, and large posters, all for their fans. It mentioned something about during filming the music videos, some assistants or whatnot were injured by some jellyfishes that were washed up onshore so that scared Twins. It also mentions again that Sa participated in You're Not A Good Lover but it doesn't say much about Gillian at all! Anyway, I guess we have to wait for more information then. Please feel free to correct if content is inaccurate, my Chinese sucks, I admit.

Perhaps EEG is trying to be less biased? Gee, I really hope that's true, for the sakes of Gillian and Steven. But I believe that it's more of a tactic to promote Isabella, and that Steven is part of the tactic rather than them trying to be nicer to him. You know, duets are attractive; people want to find out how these two people sound together, so they will listen. Kenny and Gillian's duet was quite nice with the synchronization, but of course it was never recognized by EEG. Yup, Kenny and Gillian's duet had been lucky to even make it half way up the chart without any promotion at all; I'd say that's about what will happen with Steven and Isabella's. If their duet ends up getting noticed, then EEG's plan of promoting Isabella will have backfired since most people agree that Steven gave a better performance in the duet. Anyway, it was nice that Steven got to sing those ballads in Isabella's album since all he ever gets to do in Sun Boy'z is sing all those jumpy songs. Hopefully, Gillian will have that piece of luck come onto her as well with her solo.

I'm really confused right now, so I hope the album will release soon. I read the news today, and it said that Charlene's in charge of composing her solo instead of writing it. It also didn't mention anything about Gillian being part of the production crew; it just went on about Charlene composing her solo. It's not exactly related to Gillian, but I thought Charlene was writing the lyrics? Anyway, for once, I hope that the reporters were just being rude and not mentioning about Gillian in the article, or EEG just doesn't want it mentioned, and Gillian did compose/write something. The same format as 'Next Stop Diva Queen' is possible since they've gotta do what sells, right? Since their previous duet/solo song was so good, they might as well do the same thing over until it gets boring.

Ah, two days! I just hope we get good news of Gillian's solo being a ballad!!! Gillian will definitely be capable of guiding herself through an emotional ballad!

Theres no news about Gillian composing or writing lyrics? Aww that really sucks! But their was picture at whoevers house, and it showed them in a recording room and Gillian was writing something. Wasn't she writing lyrics? (Pictures provide someone back in the pages by asillysaint) I'll get soo annoyed if Gillian doesn't have any composed/writing lyrics BUT Charlene has more than 1! Seriously EEG need to bang their head on something and wake up! LOL

That was for the song that they sang at the Paralympics; it doesn't have anything to do with their own album.

I'm still confident of Gillian composing or writing something though. It was reported that she will be, and she's expressed about the issue, so I will trust it until I'm proven wrong. Even if Gillian doesn't have any songs written or composed by her, it could mean that she needs more practice before her projects are released, or EEG just didn't want to accept her projects. It could still be the very basic one of where EEG doesn't want to promote Gillian's contribution.

Yeah, didn't that piece of news up there say that Sa was involved in the song but the lyrics were written by someone else, a female too, Lin something lol. Anyway, I do hope that Gillian does have a project in this album. Oh yeah, haha! Our predictions were exactly on target.

Well yeah I would love to hear something that Gillian self-written. Maybe it was *cough*better*cough* than Charlene's and they don't want to produce it because their scared that Gillian solo will be better. Well it's only like 2 more days until it comes out and I can't wait!!

I read the list of songs in the new album in a Twins's website . It said that 'Cherry Red Guitar' composed by Gillian and " I don't save money " composed by Charlene

Hm, maybe the news got it wrong because it was so stressed of how Charlene is going to take up lyrics writing that I don't think she would miss out on writing lyrics for her solo. The name mentioned in the news is actually LinXi, who is a man. He's actually quite famous as a lyrics writer. Perhaps he helped Charlene with the lyrics, but the reporters took it as him writing all of it? Charlene had help writing 'Love' as well, so maybe she got help this time as well. *sigh* I really want to know what Gillian took part in in the production, or should I say I really want it to be confirmed that Gillian did take part in the production? I think 'You Are Not A Good Lover' should be a pretty good song; usually the themesongs of that genre of film are pretty good. Ah, counting down to the release of the album, starting now. We don't know if Gillian has any composing or writing in this album. We haven't heard news that she doesn't, but we haven't heard anything about she does except for the piece of news a few months ago.

Well, I don't know about 'Cherry Red Guitar' since no one's been able to find out who composed it, but I'm positive Charlene didn't compose 'I Don't Save Money' because a composer named 蔡志浩@sense did.

Aww...I love this MV! I love the flow and the story of it. Even though you didn't explain the storyline but I think I understand because the scenes flows really nicely! So Edison and Gillian are bf and gf. Edison is a gangster which Gillian doesn't agree with and have arguments with him a lot because of that. They are unable while they are away as they reminisces the timems when they were together. At last in the end, they are back together because like what you said, they were meant for each other no matter what

I love how you used an instrumental song and one of the favorite love classics too! It just makes the scenes so much more beautiful, sweet and sad.

Ahhaha, oh. I saw the Lin something so thought that he was a she, dorky me. Perhaps so. Perhaps Sa did receive help from that famous lyrics writer. I too am eager to know which song or part Gillian participated in. Anyway, so I guess, so far, we've been quite on target that Twins' themesong for Let's Steal Together will be a fast song while Sa's/Twins' themesong for Diary will definitely be a ballad, plugged. I agree, themesongs are usually good since they already have a storyline to go with it. Hm, perhaps the Let's Steal Together themesong will contain English lyrics again so Gillian gets to speak in English again, I love her English, it's so sweet yet strong.

Twins was on JSG again. But this time for what song? I really love Gillian hair! She look like a 5 year old with that hair. Is it still summer in HK beside their still wearing little pieces of clothes? Anyways heres some screencaps of their performance. Does anyone know what song their singing?
