I hope so. I really hope this role floats Gillian's way. Yup, Mirage doesn't even have Joey's Concert Poster up yet but perhaps next month or so because that is what happened to Lee Hom too. The reporters ask Twins if their company has a No Marriage Contract and Twins replied that they will look into that. According to a member at TF.net, Twins might be singing the chinese themesong to the Japanese series 'One Litre Of Tears' because it is going to be broadcasted in HK by TVB.

Hhmm, I haven't seen the series yet, even though I have it at home to watch, but I heard that the series was really sad, so the themesong should be a ballad. If Twins do get to sing the song, I can't wait to hear it! Another emotional ballad to hear Gillian sing!

That's pretty good to hear! We get to hear more songs by Twins even after their album release. Having it be a ballad is already a positive thing. Artistes can really get extra popular if they sing the themesong of a series that gets popular. I've heard that it's a song that will be converted to chinese lyrics, so there's an original version of the song? Maybe we can find it and listen to how it sounds?

I'm not sure if this is the themesong, but I found two songs after searching on youtube a little bit. One's a slow song and the other one I don't know how to describe. Twins singing the themesong to '1 litre of tears'? Wow that's cool! I haven't watched the drama yet, but I know it's really depressing. The original themesong is pretty good, though I'm more use to listening to korean (all due to my love for k-dramas). Haha... I'm taking Japanese in school,though the language really doesn't sound that nice. I can't wait to hear Twins sing it though! This was a pretty old clip of them practicing for the fighting scenes in "Twins Effect 1". You noticed the way Gillian answered in interviews improved a whole lot. She look like a little lost kid scratching her head. LOL. I didn't notice Edison was there until they said "Ah Gill use too rumour boyfriend Edison".

I'm totally in love with this drama! It's pretty cool if Twins gets to sing the themesong but I wonder which one they would sing? The beginning or the ending song? Not sure which one they see as the themesong...usually it's the beginning song, isn't it, at least for Chinese dramas...The ending song is a definite ballad but for the beginning song, I'm not sure what genre it's called...more rock, R&B...lolx? Both songs are really challenging and I know the ballad is filled with vibratos (love this song!) Maybe this would be a song where Twins can prove themself as a decent singer and not just an idol

I wrote this poem for homework like last week. We had to take a line from "Still I Rise" by Maya Aglou? And create our own poem. So I made mine about love/relationship. If it was in Chinese and became a song do you think Gillian would be able to sing it? It's only a little bit though

Yes, I sort of laughed when I found out that Twins may be singing the themesong to MY FAVORITE DRAMA ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH since I had just done the MV with the instrumental to the song "Only Human." WHICH I hope is the song Twins sing because I love that song

BUT I have to say, if Twins tackle the song it's going to be their toughest song yet. That song is very very emotional and difficult. The original singer did a fantastic job portraying the song with his vocals - I hope Twins can do the song and singer justice. I am not saying they can't - I am sure they have it within them...but it will be a challenge. Espcially the vibratos...they were so long and pronouced...would be an achievement if Twins could pull it off!

I am sooo looking forward to this though and I hope it is true!

This is really nice; I'm impressed. The words are so lovely and sad. I would say, this poem is from Gillian to Edison. Edison is currently treating others like Queens just to spite Gillian for her decision in choosing her career over him at such a young age, which is reasonable. Thanks for sharing. This poem is definitely not the end yet of Edison-Gillian, they have to be a happy ending, lol. It would be great if Gillian sang it like a story, each song is a chapter, that would be interesting.

Haha, yeah, when I read the piece of news lilsleepyhead916 posted, it was cute. I really want Twins to tackle this song, I would love to hear them sing real vibratos, long extended ones for once. The guy who sings the Japanese version has such a nice voice, it's so soothing and emotinal; hopefully, Twins can achieve the same results.

Gillian's father passed away at a young age, so her grandfather took care of her since she was young. Their relationship is very good, but her grandpa passed away last year, and if Gillian was able to have a MidAutum Festival wish, she said, "I hope to have a family dinner with my grandpa, but he's not here anymore, so I can never see him again..." The young Gillian was very cute, she would wear a flower dress and take a picture with her grandpa, and it has become her cellphone's wallpaper, so she can see her grandpa everyday.

Poor Gillian, she misses her grandpa so much.

Gillian was cute when answering. The fans actually knew the answer before they did. Gillian was so OMG-ish when she was rushing to stop Charlene from making a fourth cut in the mooncake. As megazerox explained, they get eight pieces if they makes one vertical and one horizontal cut with the mooncake facing up, and then make a final cut through the side of the mooncake. These IQ questions, as if someone would really cut their mooncake that way. It would so mess up the yolk inside. Then again, that is the point of IQ questions. The answer's always something that you would never do in reality.

Gillian demonstrates great filial piety towards her grandfather. She still misses him so much. It's an extra hard feeling for Gillian since she was actually brought up by her grandfather.

Thanks for the photos. Well, Andy has always been quite friendly with Twins. Hm, that's a good question. Why did happen to his invitation to Gillian? Absolutely nothing's been heard of. *sigh*

Guess what, guys? Gillian might have to film another series, another Wong Jing series. Wong Jing originally wanted Isabella in the series, but because she got frozen by EEG, all the contracts were ended, and EEG had to pay the money back, so now WJ is having his eyes on Gillian again. EEG is going to try and change Gillian's schedule up to make her be able to film this series. The series includes Dicky Cheung and Stephen Fung. Urgh, seriously I want to see Gillian in a solo FILM. She has one serial, and it's good enough. That just about already tells us that 'Starlight Star' is not for Gillian, nor is any other film that plans to request her. The series is 40 episodes long, and I think Isabella's role is a leading role as well.

nah...if the serie is originally wanted bella...then i dont want gill to film her role...i dont want gil to be a replacement... plus, i want gil to film movie rather than serie..i agree, one serie is enough...i rather want gil to spend more time with sa in music

Well, is that EEG's excuse as to why Gillian wouldn't even have a chance to get the role because they are planning to keep Gillian busy in another Wong Jing film? Well, that's just great...it's also telling us Gillian is pretty free to be able to film a serial because if Gillian wasn't so busy would she have so much time in her hands to film a serial again? Also, why don't EEG give her a TVB script to film instead? Oh right..HK exposure too much... why doesn't EEG ever reject Wong Jing's film for Gillian, always accepting! While for other directors, mostly it's rejection unless it's not a really big benefit to Gillian's acting or they miscalculated the success it will get.

Wong Jing seemed to have so much faith in Gillian though - I like that about him unless it's her popularity he had his eyes on.... I just wish other directors have so much faith in Gillian but well if it's a good script, Gillian still wouldn't likely get it

It's not a film; it's a serial. Most likely, it'll be both Cantonese and Mandarin while filming, and they'll dub whatever they need to when they air it. It's ancient, but the name is more modern than modern.


I know! If they're going to make Gillian film another series, then at least make it TVB. And why does it have to be a Wong Jing production AGAIN? Wong Jing should just leave Gillian alone. It's not like he has good scripts. I don't want Gillian to have to be in Mainland for a long period of time; she already wasn't feeling that well when filming her last series. She kept having nose bleeds because she wasn't used to the climate in Mainland.


Wong Jing doesn't write TVB scripts. This production will be along the same lines as Gillian's other series. You want her to take it? I sure don't. No offense to Dicky, but the series that he's in tend to be a bit 'mo liu' to some point. It's also going to be bad on Gillian's health if she has to stay in Mainland for so long.


Yeah, I was wondering about that after seeing that Gillian might have to film a series. They might just want to use it as an excuse that Gillian's too busy to do films because of a Wong Jing series. Apparently, EEG is trying to move her schedule around to make time out for the series. They always give her crappy plots to give an answer that Gillian has something to do, but it's never anything that actually gives benefits to her career. When it does give her benefits, EEG didn't even accept it.

Wong Jing just likes pretty girls to be in his series/films. That's probably why his eyes are always on Gillian. The only good thing he said is that Edison and Gillian are one of the best on-screen couples. I bet other directors must see something out of Gillian, but obviously EEG would've rejected anything that would obviously give Gillian benefits. Urgh, this sounds a bit selfish and mean, but I wish Isabella's schedule had planned for a film instead of a series for this time period, then maybe Gillian could take over a film. Then again, if it's a film, then it likely wouldn't be for Gillian to take over. The first thing I'm hoping for is that EEG thinks twice about this and spares Gillian. If Gillian does have to take it, then I hope it's actually a good script. There might be some hope for it to be a plot and character that's good since it was originally set for Isabella; I don't believe EEG in doing good for Gillian, but I do believe them in doing good for Isabella. Then again, it's a WJ series; how 'good' could it possibly get? Hopefully, this series won't stall Gillian of her singing career.

I'd assume that it's not going to be a particularly serious dramatical series if the title's already that screwed up.

I would respect it if Gillian's actually the one to choose what she wants to film, but her jobs are all assigned, arranged, and rejected by her management. She'll still have to do it even if the script is total crap. As with the many previous times.

This isn't a film; it's a 40 episode series. Edison won't be in it because the cast is all confirmed. It's just that they had to withdraw Isabella from the cast because EEG is freezing her, thus cancelling out her jobs. That is why WJ has his eyes on Gillian as a replacement for the role. Likely, Edison won't even set eyes on it even if he is offered because he was only in about seven episodes for that series that he was in, but they made him look like a main character. Edison's ambition is more towards Hollywood.

I'm sure if Gillian won't mind then I guess her fans won't mind either.

Oops, did I say film again? I ment series. Really I didn't know Edison only had 7 espiode in 'Eight Heros'. Urgh, that sucks, why can't Wong Jing have his eyes on someone else in EEG? I don't even know why people still want him as a director. I just read from TF.net about this and even the fans there don't want Gillian in a series directed by Wong Jing. And seeing how EEG LOVES to listen to Twins fans about things, i.e. 'Jade Girl', why can't EEG listen to them about this too?

*Sigh* If only EEG had more female artists that Wong Jing would be willing to take to be a part of this series, isn't one of his series enough? I mean, I don't mind Dicky and Stephen, especially Stephen seeing how he is such good friends with Gillian, and since Dicky's there, she'll most likely have a good time with both of them, but the fact that it's a Wong Jing series, AND it may make her not able to accept Andrew's script. If only EEG didn't freeze Isabella, then Gillian wouldn't have to be in ANOTHER Wong Jing series...

The cast had been confirmed a long time ago, but right now the freezing of Isabella just messed up the cast. Everyone else is confirmed except for the female role, which was originally Isabella's. EEG probably wants Gillian to take it because WJ said he'll pay the market price for Gillian. I still hope that they'll spare Gillian on this one though. Come to think of it, EEG is pushing a lot of their artistes to film series. Gillian filmed one earlier, Deep filmed one, Kenny's filming one, Isabella was going to film one, Nic and Yumiko filmed one last year, etc. I wonder if EEG's trying to push their artistes into developing more everywhere? Though I would say that the only real benefit for exposure is Kenny's since his is a TVB series. Everyone else, including Gillian, is just for the money since they're Mainland/WJ series. WJ series might suck, but he does give good pay. Maybe that's what EEG has their eyes on. Not the exposure/recognition, but moreso the salary.


I don't think anyone does want him as a director. So many people hate him. I do wonder why he's still around though. I heard that he used to be good and all, but he went downhill? It should tell EEG something that even CCT is mostly objecting to this, except for 'specific' fans who say there's absolutely no problem to this, so EEG really shouldn't make Gillian do another WJ series. Her reputation for one thing, and her health for another.

Or how about EEG just pays WJ back the money that he offered for Isabella, and he can go find another female artiste outside of EEG altogether? Maybe he can take Yumiko? She hasn't been too active lately. I don't mind Gillian working with Dicky and Stephen either because they're both really nice and friendly to her, but I'd rather them collaborate elsewhere instead of a WJ series. It's even worse if Gillian is forced to pass on Andrew's script because of WJ. I mean, if both Gillian and Charlene both had a free schedule, then it would at least be somewhat fair when Andrew/the production crew choose, right? No director wishes their production to be delayed and such, so if Gillian has to do something else at the same time, then they might pass on her because they might have to look too much into her schedule, and it might take too long for the film. Unless Andrew's film doesn't start until next year, then Gillian might have a fair shot at it. It did only take Gillian a month or so to finish twenty some episodes of her last series, so maybe it'll only take her two months, before next year, to finish this? If Gillian does have to accept the job anyway. I still hope she doesn't.

OH I see now! Thanks for clearing everything up. Well even though he has his eyes on Gillian, I hope Gill gets accepted from 'Starlight Star' so she can't accept this. But if she does accept the WJ, hope Andrew will film 'Starlight Star' next year so Gillian could be in both.

Little_Purple_Bell: i don't think that it's moreso the salary because compared to twins' high-budget movies, tvb series don't exactly pay as much...with EEG putting in almost all of their stars into TVB series, it can be said that if you do something nice for TVB (bring up ratings), they'll do something nice for you (perhaps be a shoe-in for awards, etc.)...that's my opininion though because i doubt it's for the money and i don't think it's for the recognition either as you've already stated.

actually i don't exactly mind gillian doing another wong jing series although i don't particularly want gillian to participate in the series, but i think that it won't be too bad...i'm just trying to wait it out for the flying fox in the snowy mountain series to come out so that i can see what kind of plotline was written in and then decide whether or not another wong jing series is really necessary or even a good idea...come to think of it, with wong jing there's always a good/bad side because wong jing is capable of pulling out a great production (i.e. Colour of the truth) when he's not trying to be stupidly funny or just making parodies of other good films...let's just hope that the series that gill has and probably will participate/d in are two of the few good productions that wong jing has created...

At least Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain is a serious melo-drama; any series with Dicky will be comedic, which means our worst nightmare is yet to arrive because no doubt, Wong Jing will attempt his stupid parodies again. GR! I am so upset. Gillian doesn't need another series, Gillian hasn't even received the results of her first, why even consider signing her onto a new one? And why Gillian, like always? Gosh, kiss goodbye to Andrew and Andy's films, something that would be most beneficial to Gillian.

I already commented at Youtube. Anyway, I really like this video in that the storyline is fresh and new between Edison-Gillian. You pieced the scenes together very well too, it flowed nicely, whenever you have time, make more, lol.

Another WJ series? Omg, not again. Gillian really doesn't need another series, not to mention WJ is the director. Being the female lead is great news, but not if she has to work with Dicky Cheung which equals comedy that isn't even funny. Plus WJ associates with 'cheap'. I am so hoping that EEG would change their mind and give the role to someone else. *crosses fingers* Though that is quite unlikely...
