Someone posted a link in the EG thread about Edison responding to Gillian's incident. I don't know if he was on her side of the stupid EasyFinder side, cause he was like if you take it to serious you'll get upset. But he did get pretty pissed while saying it because it seemed to me he was yelling it out. OH well....I wonder how he looked when the DJ was like Ah Gui.

Anyone know what happened to this situation? I mean it's almost another month passed!

I listened to it and um, I didn't hear Gillian's name mentioned or perhaps I missed it but Edison did give his insights about the crazy paparazzis and the magazine tabloids. Well, the interviewer asked if Edison supports the government's restrictions against the paparazzis, which does directly relate to Gillian's case because it was because of Gillian's incident that pushed the government to modify some laws but anyway, Edison doesn't support it because he said that it's the people who buy the magazines who need to change and then, the media will also change, which is true. But one interesting thing I did hear was, Edison is going to collaborate with Andrew Lau again later this year so there is a possibility that Gillian or Twins may cooperate with him again. Man, this makes me pray even harder that it will be Gillian who is chosen for this role, Andrew's film. Ahhh!

Um, actually, the interviewer said, the Hong Kong Performing Artist Guild, not Giu. That's what I thought at first too but then after listening to it a second time, the interviewer wasn't that fluent in English or rather it was British English so it sounded like Giu but it was Guild.

I know, my hopes were all up but oh well. The reason why Edison hasn't responded towards Gillian's incident is because the reporters don't ask him questions in relations not because Edison doesn't care. I mean, take this interview for example, the interviewer doesn't even mention Gillian's name but only the governmental branch and this interview was pretty much live. Darn. Reporters should ask Edison.

I didn't hear the part about him collaborating with Andrew Lau either. I only heard Edison mentioning Andrew Lau in two places, which were (1) Edison saw Andrew Lau, and Andrew asked him if he seriously wanted to do 'Fast and Furious' and told him to think about it carefully. (2) Edison said that he doesn't like to attend award ceremonies, but he went because he respected Andrew and Jay. It would be nice if Edison is in 'Starlight Star' and Gillian gets the role because then, they can reunite in a really good script. But it seems likely that the male will be Korean, and it doesn't seem likely that Edison will take a role if it's not the leading role. I still hope that Gillian gets the role though.

Hm, I really hope the movie Edison was talking about is 'Starlight Star! He mentioned the story revolving four characters was it? Then there's a high possibility that it's the same thing... I mean there could be korean actors also. Well either way, I really hope Gillian will be able to take on this movie. It would do a lot to her career.

You know for the rehearsal of the MidAutumn Festival event? There was reports and pictures of Isabella being there, and it shocked the reporters that she was there because she was suppose to be frozen, so maybe Isabella isn't frozen anymore? And so maybe she can take the role again if she isn't, because that'll be GREAT! Gillian won't have to take part in it! =D

I really like Gillian's dress, and the dark purple color of the dress makes her look kind of sexy-ish yet elegant at the same time. AND SHE SHOWED OFF HER LEGS! =D Just had to say that, because Gillian usually covers up her legs, you might not be able to see it from the picture, but I'm going to upload the clip onto youtube soon. Also, they sang 'Samba' and since it was CCTV, it was lipsynced, which sucks because I really want to hear them singing this version, even though it's the same as 'Samba Queen', but I want to see how well they sing this song live again.

Actually the link provided by lilsleepyhead916 they sang in mando. You could actually telled they lip syce because it was Gillian voice in the background but Charlene was moving her lips lol.

Anyway, I'm glad that Gillian's opening up herself of her wardrobe. Frankly, she doesn't need to cover up herself like that because she looks perfectly fine. It sucks how everyone has to lipsync on CCTV. Who'd want to sit there watching a bunch of people lipsync? I'd like to hear them sing this song again as a recent version as well. I'm really eager to hear a specific pronounciation error corrected, and I'm sure it would've been if this song was live.

On second thought, maybe the whole freezing thing and Gillian's participation was all part of advertising the serial? You know, the news of freezing Isabella would be one firey thing, then announcing that Gillian may be taking over her role would be extra steam. I kinda hope it is a stunt; that way, Gillian won't be obligated to film something.

Aww....he's so cute! They both lost their first on-screen kiss to each other (unless baby Matthew had done this before on camera..lolx) Notice how when baby Matthew was supposed to kiss Charlene first but pulled away at the last minute and kissed Gillian instead...so adorable when he started smiling!Wow...isn't he lucky to get such a big first on-screen kiss from Gillian! Would we have imagine that is' a baby that got her first kiss!

I mean..in the MV, It was Charlene's voice but then Gillian is the one singing..

They made a mistake when filming the MV. Gillian was singing in the MV to the part of when Charlene's voice is singing in the song. They didn't sound that alike in the song.

This sucks!!! I don't want Gillian to be in this series!!! Stupid EEG, and I think that while Gillian is filming this series, Charlene might be in a new movie with Jay Chou. Maybe this is why EEG 'froze' Isabella, so that Charlene can take this role, and Gillian won't be 'free' to take on Andrew's film, because they'll use the excuse that she's in Mainland for this series.

Yup, I wonder if this is the reason why they froze Isabella. Maybe Andrew did request Gillian but EEG doesn't want that to happen so they threw this project onto Gillian. They probably rejected Andrew overall while accepting another project and handing it to Charlene so they won't have to explain much since why would they even need to explain why Charlene got to work with Jay Chou (we can't be suspicious of this request. Know nothing about it) unlike Andrew's case where he had publicly said he would choose one of the Twins.

This really sucks. As bluehearts said, Gillian has never had a project to work on of which she gets a bit of a hand in, she is always the most popular out of the cast. There probably is no hope in Gillian not being in the this series since we thought her last series was false when we first heard about it. The freezing of Isabella likely is just a stunt; she was present at performances while she is frozen. Right. EEG and their sneaky ways to stall Gillian. There hadn't been much hope in this from the beginning. Choosing one out of Twins? What do you think that'll be about from past experiences? One statement about how Gillian is busy, and they push this away for Gillian nice and easy. Urgh, seriously I would rather Gillian stay active in HK from attending functions than participate in this series of WJ's. It's not like Gillian will get much out of it anyway. Look at the plot of the film that WJ's currently filming now from that piece of news above. It sounds awfully cheap and disgusting. I don't want to imagine this upcoming series. There'll be more loss than gain for Gillian right there. I'm only hoping that Gillian's part isn't that big, and it won't take her the full two months to film. Why can't this role of Gillian's be small like they always were in WJ films?


I would be happy if Gillian is allowed to kiss on-screen since she wouldn't be that limited in films anymore, but I'm not too sure of EEG's intentions. It simply doesn't sound like EEG to be intending to bring Gillian out of her Jade Girl image. If she is allowed to kiss, then let's pray it won't be in the WJ series.
