Well, if we were to observe the context of the piece of news, If not Gillian, then Sa, that line carries some weight to that rumor, the role going to Gillian. I'm sure, if Andrew already announced his interest in one of the Twins, Andrew already sent out an invitation to that particular Twin but everything is all in works on EEG's side and yes, EEG may have simply used Isabella's freezing situation as a stunt to prevent Gillian from receiving that role. I mean, we heard news about this Andrew collaboration a while back, all of a sudden, this Jay-Charlene film pops up out of nowhere? Isabella's issues just happens to change Gillian's schedule, not anyone else's. Not only is the Jay-Charlene film a major promotion for Sa, it is also an excuse to exclude Sa out from the series. Logically speaking from the sequence of events, this is highly another biased stunt EEG has mixed and matched. Gillian ends up getting the short end of the stick, again.

I guess, fans are now finally voicing out bit by bit because honestly, the biased treatment has been getting worse. I mean, Gillian is practically pulled out of films. If this is not a wake up call, I don't know what should! Before, Gillian used to portray useless busy work minor roles here and there, though they were a waste of time, but at least Gillian was still exposed through films but now, films has been totally forbidden for Gillian. Plus, dwelling in the past biased treatments won't get very far because each group of fans have had time to make up reasons and once a project is released, there is really nothing that can be changed. But I am glad that at least we have support from both sides.

Yup, it's true about Mani's attitude towards Gillian in different situations.

Alexa: I know, it's difficult to be on middle grounds but Twins will always be Twins no matter what, disbanded or not; it's all about their personal relationship, not the work as Twins. If you really cared for both Gillian and Sa, at the moment, disbanding seems like the only way out. Sa can become a solo artist while Gillian can exit out of the ET industry and embark on something new, a different career. I just hope that EEG won't pair Gillian up with new members. A war will erupt if that was the final decision. I as well would love that Gillian stays in the entertainment arena but if that means, worse conditions for Gillian to face alone, nah, skip that idea.

It's upsetting reading how you described Gillian's situation, and yet the painful part is, it's all true. EEG is tormenting Gillian and us fans in general. I don't like to complain either, nor does it make a difference, but it just becomes so stressful when unhappy things happen again and again. And to think, if we, outsiders are so greatly affected by all this, then how does Gillian feel? If it was me, I would have broken down by now.




If you really do believe in Twins as a whole, that consists of Gillian and Charlene, you wouldn't have made this comment and if you really do support Gillian as much as you support Charlene, you wouldn't feel that we are being biased. Shouldn't things be equal between the two of them to make things fair? I get the impression that you feel things are fair between the two of them, which is definitely not true and you would have known if you had actually taken the time to look at what's been happening.




What makes me angry is when there's people who don't see anything wrong, or at least claim that they don't, which personally, I find that impossible. Even my Mom, someone who has no interest in Twins what so ever, has recently notice that EEG treats Gillian differently than how they treat Charlene. CD covers [and no I'm not just talking about 'Ho Hoo Tan', there has been other ones in the past, like say 'Samba' and 'The Missing Piece'], magazine covers [I don't know what perspective the photographers see things, but it's always messed up], photoshoots, movies [let's not even talk about big productions, but how many films has she actually starred in?], commericals, music videos [how many times have I seen less scenes and the way the camera only catches half of gillian's face, half?], and the amount of a song each of them sings, is just all too hard to miss. So, it's good to hear that, outside of this Gillian thread, there are others who also feel the same and are finally voicing their opinions.

Well, I think Ella's incident is slightly different than Gillian's. The guy was up onstage, so the security guards would definitely automatically go up and catch him, while for Gillian's case, I think things were a little more complicated, they had to determine if things were any different to 'tao pak', since they have published photos of other artistes at homes and I remember seeing Ekin in his boxers once. :wacko Though I do think that if EEG did support Gillian and loved her as much as they say, they would have taken immediate action to ease her pain.




Gillian has down her best at anything and everything she does, but EEG really doesn't give a damn. She's not the one they want to make it big, so her achievements only make them want to push her further into the dark. 23 movies... and how many of those were actually big productions? 3?




I believe that no one in here will ever stop supporting Gillian. It's because we support and love her so much that we tend to get quite frustrated at how she constantly loses oppertunities. I don't doubt Gillian's abilities, if she was allowed to freely do everything that comes her way, I'm sure it wouldn't take long for her popularity to rise to another level, what I do doubt is EEG. As long as she is still under their management, that big day won't come. It would be a miracle that people still remember her if she continues to get these small jobs leading to nowhere. I'd like to continue thinking positively, but how can I? There's hardly ever anything positive that happens and the majority of the time, good things turn into bad things in the end. ... but of course, my support for Gillian will never fade. Go Gillian!!

^I guess I am being selfish in wanting Twins to stay together as a group If Twins do disband, I don't want Gil to exit the entertainment industry...That would be so upsetting. But anyways, I definitely agree with most of you. When have Gillian's opportunities or spotlight not been cut short? It's always like that and it seemed so predictable already. Gillian can never truly enjoy the satisfaction or praise before being pulling away from it; covered in another biased or depressing matter.

Before when Gillian had nothing to do, she was at least able to appear more on magazines or minor film roles for exposure but what about know? What has she done so far that gives her, as an individual, any exposure other than events that consists of Twins? While Charlene is having all these exposure apart from Twins, Gillian is just sitting in a corner, waiting for something to do and when she finally did get her own work, what do she get - a role that is passed on to her from Isabella? A Wong Jing serial? If they could have canceled other events or films planned for Isabella, why can't they cancel this one out too? Or why can't they give all the jobs from Isabella to Gillian? Is it because it's too threatening as the jobs will give Gillian too much exposure or space to improve and recognized?

I can't say how much I hate EEG for mistreating Gillian, being so bias and stupid even though they are the one who brought Gillian...ahem...*Twins* to the top and popularity. If Gillian were able to shine as an individual even without those extra promotions, this just tells them so much. It's just a matter of time before they need to start seeing that Gillian is not only loyal to them but also bring them more money then they are getting. I know Gillian could be better if she has the chances, just from seeing how much she can do with such limited chances. She just needs another push - support from her company.

I also don't understand how some people could just not see this bias treatment id they spent so much time on Twins. I mean I would understand if they do not think it's unfair to Gillian because for whatever reason they don't want to believe but it's pretty solid to see. Who has more films? Who has more magazine photoshoots? Who has a upper hand in singing? If someone gives me a reason like because Charlene is better at filming or singing or whatever that is. Does it really matter? There's always someone better yet they don't even get that much opportunities. For photoshoots, do all of them only consist of one photographer or does most of the photographer thinks that the best pose is when Gillian is behind Charlene? Sorry, I don't buy those and doesn't that mean they see such bias treatment when they defend Charlene for having more films or whatever....

I'm so glad that more and more people are starting to speak up towards this treatment. I'm not sure where this would bring us or Gillian but I know it's not going to be bad because the most they can do is freeze Gillian. Like everyone said though, they rather Gillian be frozen and have a chance to do something that would make her happy instead of living in this misery.

Good observation. It could be highly true. If the decision was solely made by Andrew and his crew, then I would have confidence of Gillian getting a fair shot at it, but my heart sank when Andrew expressed that EEG will have some say in who suits the script more once they finish and send the script over to EEG. I still do believe that the freezing of Isabella is partly, if not all, used against Gillian. As you have mentioned, how the heck could the freezing of Isabella not effect anyone but Gillian? You've got to see an inside story there. I can't right out say that Charlene's offer to collaborate with Jay is absolutely part of it because Charlene has not been confirmed to be in the film, but I find it highly possible. Who wouldn't want to collaborate with Jay? It's like a free ride in exposure and promotion while being on the same boat as Jay. Then there are certain people over CCT claiming that it's not a good opportunity. Yeah, I'd say it's a million times better to collaborate with Jay than to film a WJ serial.


I agree that I wouldn't want Gillian to exit the ET industry, for my own selfishness, but I would rather have her run and catch her own dreams outside the ET industry rather than stay in mistreatment. Enough is enough. Years of biased treatment is not easy to endure, and Gillian is amazing to have been able to do that. It would be nice if another company would pull Gillian away from EEG, but EEG mostly won't let the people who left them have a good future, as in those who they still have power to stall anyway. So far, it is only Eason who has escaped that fate and is still standing strong in the HK ET industry. Everyone else is still having their struggles. Bottom line, I don't want Gillian to be mistreated anymore nor do I want her to be placed into another group of newbies.

Well, we have hoped for EEG to have a change of heart a while ago. We have sent emails to EEG regarding the biased issue, but obviously they either didn't read it or they chose to ignore it. As sad as it is, I don't think they would acknowledge what we feel about their actions.

I agree with your observation completely. You know what? All of Isabella's other jobs have been supposedly cancelled and rejected EXCEPT this WJ serial. I read another piece of news of how EEG cancelled off a film of Isabella's, and that film was a leading role, talking about a fresh topic of modern day young people. Why didn't Gillian get that job as well then? Or why wasn't the WJ serial cancelled on the spot as well as that film which sounds considerably interesting? Maybe Isabella's freezing may have been something true, but I bet the Gillian part in the matter was planned. Either Gillian can take over all of Isabella's jobs, good or bad, or Gillian is allowed to say, "It's none of my business." No way does Gillian need to take all the bad jobs of Isabella's. See? Even magazine shoots are threatening now, are they? Why don't they just freeze her then? No wait, they need her to be the other half of Twins.

Even though the program, “舞林大會”, has been criticized of copying a program from England, it still stands with high ratings because of so many celebrities attending. On October 8, it was the first time that Twins met with their dancing coordinator and their dancing partners. The funny thing is this 'split up' group started 'competing' with each other. Not only did they compete with the level of difficulty of their dance moves, but they even compared the looks and experience of their dancing partners.

To ensure not to lose in this competition, Charlene Choi requested for their teacher to add more difficulty to her dance, "I want the biggest and strongest actions." don't wanna remind u guys of the sad truth, but just feel like saying something, god. I'm a very loyal Gillian fan, but I'm seeing myself avoiding reading Twins' news and drifting apart from Twins' la la land. I absolutely still admire Gillian, alotttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt. Yet, it's like most of the news or interesting craps recently are about Charlene. To be truthful, I've never been into Charlene. Gill was the one then and still is now. I say "I like Twins equally", yeah, but it's more like "I TRY to like Twins equally", but I just cant, especially when I think one needs my love more than another. Imagine what happened if Gillian is not well-loved and supported by sooo many fans, just u imagine. I hate it, I just hate it when Gill always seems to appear as Charlene's shadow. What's up with that? I just don't get EEG. What r they thinking? By Gillian Chung's side, there had always been people courting her. Recently, even Lester Lam, from a wealthy family (Son of Peter Lam, owner of Media Asia), has started courting Gillian. That's why, during that dark incident, Gillian couldn't control her emotions from dripping as endless tears; Gillian had so much at risk, so much to lose, and so much to bear. One spot of dirt on her squeaky clean image and Gillian may likely be frozen, left out to die. Not only did those reporters invade her privacy, they bascially poured salt mixed with lemon on her wounds, the wounds from EEG's biased treatment. That's probably why Gillian stated that out from all of the horrible events that have happened to her in the ET Circle, this one incident has been the most painful, which literally broke Gillian down and some people have nerves to say, that this was a stunt to promote Gillian, that her tears were fake. So my question is: shouldn't this so called 'stunt' have gained Gillian the role next to Jay instead? Since Gillian has reached every shore with this incident, gaining sympathy from all regions? Gillian's conditions haven't gotten any better so YEAH, those people should think before they say something.

I do wish to see both Twins as well but it's just too much to to even utter a word without restraining back, afraid of emotionally breaking down, just juggling the heartache of witnessing Gillian being mistreated continuously. I seriously am tired, tired of seeing Gillian in this helpless state; I will always pick up my rusty sword and fight for Gillian in anything and everything but how can we ever win the battle when we have an insider leaking out our plans and our support, EEG. It was once said, a kingdom crumbles not because of the strong outsiders, it doesn't matter how strong of a force the outsiders are, if there wasn't an insider who knew the way that betrayed, the kingdom would have never been lossed. That's the case with Gillian; Gillian can have all of the support from fans, if EEG doesn't have the heart to promote and support Gillian themselves, it's all useless.

Ignorant is bliss but only for a short time though. Avoiding or being ignorant doesn't solve anything, it's just being blind for a period of time but sooner or later, the truth will always prevail and that is when ignorance will receive realism full force and it would have already been too late to do anything or save the day, ouch! I too get an automatic reflex, glancing away at the pieces of news, when there's nothing good written about Gillian or when Gillian's name isn't even mentioned when the article so claims to pertain to Twins. I have tried to not care so much and always look at the bright side of things but it's just impossible to do that with everything crushing in like this. Actually that's not true. Just because she's in a group label "Twins" and shes been working with Charlene for 4-5 years doesn't mean their best friend. Though it could be true that they are best friend, but Joey could also be her best friend. Charlene isn't the only one in the ET business that Gillian is friends with.

Really? Nah, I think he's better looking than Jaycee and Jay, he ranks the same as Alex but because he's not in the spot light, not in the right trendy clothes, hasn't acted out a lovable role nor does he sing, we don't have that touch to him yet, the touch that will gain our support, that's all. I mean, we've only seen one photo of him? Perhaps it was the bad angle or low quality of the provided picture, a lot of photos taken by newspaper agencies turn out bad for some reason, take Gillian for an example. The colors and quality of Gillian's photo is way off too; I'm sure we all know that Gillian isn't photogenic. Whether Lester is cuter than Edison or not, at least he seems wiser and more collected.

I'm really happy if Lester was Gillian's boyfriend; he seems sincere with her, well, at least from the piece of news and he's the same age as Gillian. Both can connect and understand each other on a better level. He seems well mannered, mature, and ready to protect Gillian; that is all I need to see as a fan. Plus, the majority of the men female artists date are uglier in comparison so Lester scores a passing grade in my book.

Well when I first saw the incident, I did kind of suspect it was an EEG stunt, but then again, seriously are Twins not popular enough, do they have to stoop so low as to doing something like this? I don't think so. Yeah people feel sympathetic for her, but then there's a whole bunch of people who think she is being fake. Even the Asians in my city talked about the incident. So the news has gone far and I really don't think it's helping her career, like what I've heard from some ignorant people. The movie with Jay... it's a little unlikely that the female lead would have much screen time, since it's a basketball movie? Maybe EEG is superstitious and doesn't want to release something on Friday the 13th? You never know, the ET industry is known to be superstitious, especially the wealthy companies.

Gillian is successful, independent, and above all, still quite traditionally conservative, the exact qualities wealthy families are fond of. Entering a wealthy family doesn't always depend on one's background, though, it would help. I don't know, it could be very possible between Lester and Gillian; I mean, which mother wouldn't love and absolutely adore Gillian, giving Gillian their blessings? Lester's profile does amaze me too. He's very professional and quite sincere with his work; hopefully, he'll be a good husband. Gillian and Joey doesn't need to sing together, film together, travel together, nor form Twins for fans to know that their relationship is beyond just work. The media does love stereotyping the rich boys as players. They even do it to Raymond, got photos of him out clubbing or something. Isn't Twins a group, how come using when they attend these kinds of game shows in HK, they don't usually go as a group? They are like always competing...like the 15/16 show. It's stupid how they really this stunt because it's affecting Isabella instead of helping her. For people who is really fond of her, they would further not like her because of her attitude. Gillian would be another victim in this whole situation. They probably only thought of creating this stunt to try and increase for talks about Isabella but when Wong Jing requested for Gillian to replaced Isabella then they have this stupid idea of pulling Gillian into this whole issue while being able to stall her. It could very well be that they had this whole idea from the begining but either way, they just pulling down Isabella also.

It's pretty frusrating to know that whenever we have something to complain, we get complained about instead for creating something out of nothing (which is the total opposite) but when Charlene's not treated as well as they thought she should be treated, complains are alright I'm sorry, but what, doesn't give us a right to complain about all these bias treatment when they could complain about any little 'mistreatments' of Charlene's and especially, have them point fingers at us, me everytime. <-- that gets me because they are personally attacking me.

Twins were supposed to be in 'Aqua Heroes', and the male lead was supposed to be Alex Fong. Then it turned out to be Bobo Chan, Leila Tong, and Edwin Siu. Twins were never supposed to be in 'Twins of Brothers', lol; the only change that I heard happened with TOB is that they were supposedly going to choose Michelle Ye to play Sung Yuk Chi, but then it was changed to Li Qian because TVB 'half froze' Michelle. Oops, going off topic again. Anyway, it does not seem likely that EEG wll accept a TVB project for Gillian. It's exposure in HK, and that's what EEG has been keeping Gillian away from. Raymond's quite busy for the coming months anyway, filming a 60 episode serial; I think it's a serial that's going to be country-wide. It would be awesome if Gillian could collaborate with Raymond though; he is someone who can act. No, I don't write fanfics anymore; I always end up either not finding time to update or getting writer's block.

Isn't Twins a group, how come using when they attend these kinds of game shows in HK, they don't usually go as a group? They are like always competing...like the 15/16 show. Most of the groups that was invited stay as a group against another group or just pair up but Twins split up....and now this dancing competition. Aren't they creating too much tension between Twins? Not sure if who organized it like this but either way, I think there's a message for it or I'm just too sensitive?

Everything that EEG does out of the ordinary is suspicious, suspicious that we can't help but think that it's a evil scheme they have planned out to screw Gillian's career up with. Anything that comes into place that they could use against Gillian, they will use it without hesitation. Anything to maintain the place of their precious. What kind of company rejects something good for something bad? EEG.

I think of that as foreshadowing as well, but I'm not really sure if it is. I mean, they usually split up and compete against each other during these game shows and such, but afterwards they always reassure people that they won't be splitting, dadada, etc. So I don't know. The previous game shows are okay, but this dancing competition is actually an official event, something that has meaning to it. If one happens to score better than the other, that's sure going to make some news. Apparently, EEG pulled Isabella out of this competition.

For a moment, I thought this was true until I started doubting this and especially when Gillian denied the rumors. It's stupid how they really this stunt because it's affecting Isabella instead of helping her. For people who is really fond of her, they would further not like her because of her attitude. Gillian would be another victim in this whole situation. They probably only thought of creating this stunt to try and increase for talks about Isabella but when Wong Jing requested for Gillian to replaced Isabella then they have this stupid idea of pulling Gillian into this whole issue while being able to stall her. It could very well be that they had this whole idea from the begining but either way, they just pulling down Isabella also.

It's pretty frusrating to know that whenever we have something to complain, we get complained about instead for creating something out of nothing (which is the total opposite) but when Charlene's not treated as well as they thought she should be treated, complains are alright I'm sorry, but what, doesn't give us a right to complain about all these bias treatment when they could complain about any little 'mistreatments' of Charlene's and especially, have them point fingers at us, me everytime. <-- that gets me because they are personally attacking me.

Yeah, it seems like a celebrity can never go on too long without a rumoured boyfriend/girlfriend. That's just the trend of HK.

This issue is probably a bit gray, instead of being completely black or white. EEG probably does want to punish Isabella for whatever reason, but along the way they decided to punish Gillian too. So it's not completely about punishing Isabella, or completely about punishing Gillian. The problem there is that they're punishing Gillian in a subtle way for no good reason. Either way, they are pulling Isabella down, but they are also making Gillian take the bullet for her.

Okay, if I hear one more person complain about how bad it is for Charlene to have two versions of her song, I will freak. I can stand here and tell all those disappointed fans that Charlene is at no disadvantage whatsoever. You guys want to know why? It is because BOTH versions of 'You Are Not A Good Lover' are being played on the radio, at least on 903, because the other stations haven't started playing the song yet. I don't know if they're counting that as one or two songs, but it is a fact that Charlene's solo version has been played on the radio recently, along with the duet version. Is it such a big disadvantage to Charlene now? I would think not. Now can we complain about our dissatisfactions as their dissatisfaction is already fixed? They can continue to point fingers at us all they want, but we know we have facts to defend our points.

Friday the 13th isn't bad luck for the Chinese culture, but I was think maybe they're starting to get superstitious over anything that seems bad luck, and not only the Chinese culture ones? I have heard that 13 was a good number to Chinese people as well. Chinese people are so obsessed with 8, haha.

Oh I absolutely hated 'Twin of Brothers', except for the love story Raymond had going on. Everything else just didn't appeal to me. It would have been great if Gillian was in it! I really liked the love Raymond had in the series.



It is weird, how Twins compete with each other on game shows. I don't like it, just makes me more tense, which I really shouldn't be since it's just a game. lol, I can't help myself though.

Man, using Gillian as a bullet proof vest for Isabella is such a sad story for Gillian. It cannot get any sadder and more depressing than this, I believed, up until THAT! Oh my gosh, Sa's solo song has been on the radio? Okay, I feel like shooting every fan who complained about complete nonsense. That is such a huge promotion on Sa's behalf, it's unbelievable. I bet Sa fans are happy now right? Or are they going to further complain that only Sa's solo version deserves to be heard on the radio? Then how about this, why not plug Gillian's song on the radio too huh? Yeah and to hope that EEG would do Gillian and us a favor by plugging Gillian's solo song, they turn right around and plug Sa's solo instead. Is that why they created a Twins version? So who is receiving the biased treatment? This is so f*cked up for Gillian. Not only is Gillian pulled out of films, now, she's deliberately dragged out of the music industry. That's why, I say and predict that soon enough, Gillian will fade and only Sa will be left to become a solo artist. Thanks to all of those Twins fans who don't want Twins to split, now you see the picture? Twins are a music duo but now, it seems as though, Sa is jumping right ahead.
