That is true. Gillian does tend to win those polls that are strictly one vote per person, but she does lose when it's multiple votes per person. I agree that it doesn't really matter anymore about polls, at least not for those where one person can vote a million times, if they're crazy enough. I only take the polls that are one vote per person seriously. When people have to cheat in order to achieve something, it won't mean anything in the end, will it? I do prefer the polls that mark down your IP address though; I would rather see accurate results than the results of a few diehards. [refering to fans in general, no one particular.] I believe Gillian fans generally prefer to contribute one vote and move on. I guess that's how most of us here have matured to be as well? Polls really don't change how EEG sees Gillian; they actually do more harm to her than benefits. If they see her leading and winning all these polls, it'll be like a call for them to start shutting doors on Gillian. Of course, we'll always keep in some hope for Gillian. I would want to see her solo plugged, even if the chance is so slight. It still seems like nothing can ever kill Gillian off permanently. She'll always find her way around the barriers. They can't push Gillian Chung over that easily.

Miriam and Gillian are friends. I remember when the Ronald-Miriam-Charlene triangle was happening, a news article reported that Miriam and Charlene always used Gillian as a 'barrier', and Charlene and Miriam wouldn't speak to each other while Gillian and Miriam were seen chatting joyfully. Yeah, I think maybe Gillian could've scored higher if she was placed somewhere near the end. That's why it usually sucks of going first in any kind of competition; you're bound to not score the highest because the judges always feel there's something to anticipate for afterwards, unless the people who go after you completely suck. Haha! Cinderella minus Prince Charming. Hilarious! It's true though. Gillian looks amazingly gorgeous, but her partner is a bit off. I thought the news said that the partners were all good looking?

They only eliminated two people from this round, and everyone else can advance to the next round, but Twins expressed that they have to look into what EEG says to determine whether they will participate in the next round or not. That kind of tells me that Twins might not go onto the next round... You guys get what I mean?

Gillian looks so...charming...lolx...She's so flexible! I think from the pictures, she must had did a pretty good job as she put so much of time and concentration on it. She's put so much feelings into it, how can it not be good?


I agree how being the first to perform isn't as lucky or the score as accurate. It would be better to see all the performances before they give credit so their judgement will be more justified. I mean they can give a higher grade for the performers afterward but they can't go back and change the person before so they are more....strict for the first ones and start loosen up.

Gillian's score isn't that bad if we see how she went first and is still only .3 point away from Charlene. Well, let's just be happy Gillian is in top 3 Also, it's nice how Gillian still got so much attention for her stunts even though she won third instead.

I was like whoa! when I saw the one where her partner was just holding one of her hand and feet as he spin her around! That would have been quite scary and dangerous! Regardless, I'm still happy for Gillian that she got recognized of her dancing.

I'm not sure if there were Korean artistes because everyone that was reported on is a Chinese artiste. I would think that they would report on it if a Korean artiste participated, but perhaps Korean artistes particpated in the previous weeks? This is the third week of the event; this program is said to be a spoof off of 'So You Think You Can Dance'. Anyway, I do hope that Twins will continue because I wouldn't mind seeing Gillian dance some more.


Exactly. There is something amazing about Gillian that opens up a drop of sunlight through each pitch of darkness that befalls her. It doesn't make any drastic changes, but it is the little sprinkle of hope that has lasted Gillian through to this day. I'm sure we all have faith in Gillian that she can pull through anything. She will. Just watch her; Gillian Chung will spread her wings and fly someday, whether it be in or out of the ET industry.

Yes, a glass doll would be a good term to refer to Gillian as. I'm sure we are all aware that Gillian hadn't been quite up to par with her dancing previously, but she sure has confirmed her improvement with this performance. Gillian looked absolutely professional. She was such an ice maiden in that glistening white dress, but you can feel emotions gushing out from her. She is just so elegant and graceful.

I'm glad you guys still have hope for something good to happen for Gillian, because earlier I thought everyone was losing their hope after so much disappointments. We all have hope and faith in Gillian to survive through every thing that EEG throws at her, she has done this before, and no doubt will do it again.

Thnx for sharing. Gillian's dance was so beautiful. There isn't really any comparison between Sa and Gill in here. Both dances were quite different and unique in their own way. Charlene's was more of a "ChaCha" while Gillian's was a waltz. But, um...I liked Gill's dance more. I'm not being biased but I enjoyed Gill's dance more. The moves were more interesting. Charlene's only "WOW" moment was when she did a cartwheel (notice she did have heels so that's amazing) and the guy spun her around twice. Gillian had many other WOW moment. I'm going to stop now or else I might cause trouble. Take in mind, this is my opinion. It is purely base on how I see things. I feel like making a poster with the dancing pictures.

I'm watching 'Face to Fate' with Raymond, and Raymond acting is really cute in this series. Now I really hope Raymond and Gillian could film something together!

Here is some Ho Hoo Tan promotion. I like Gillian's outfit here. I also like her hair cause that one braid in the front made it look different than just a regular bund which makes it really pretty! I find Gillian really real because if she don't want to smile she doesn't and if she wants to give a look she way she doesn't just keep a smile on to look fake. Ah..whatever.

I like the Gillian Pretty Chung one, but I think the two manips after it make Gillian look so sexy and seductive! The icons and posters are nice as well; the cheerleading Gillian is soooo cute! I also love the KG signature; you matched the two photos together very well.

Thank you for sharing the clip! Gillian did a great job at her dancing; it was all so graceful and well-arranged. She followed through moves so nicely. I'm so glad to hear so many people screamed for her during her dance, like aznlotus said, the "WOW" moments. Thnx for sharing. Gillian's dance was so beautiful. There isn't really any comparison between Sa and Gill in here. Both dances were quite different and unique in their own way. Charlene's was more of a "ChaCha" while Gillian's was a waltz. But, um...I liked Gill's dance more. I'm not being biased but I enjoyed Gill's dance more. The moves were more interesting. Charlene's only "WOW" moment was when she did a cartwheel (notice she did have heels so that's amazing) and the guy spun her around twice. Gillian had many other WOW moment. I'm going to stop now or else I might cause trouble. Take in mind, this is my opinion. It is purely base on how I see things. I feel like making a poster with the dancing pictures.

I don't see much comparison either, but I'm wondering why they arranged both dances to have their partners pick them up by the waist and spin them around? Anyway, the dances are quite different; Charlene was so agile with her ChaCha moves, and Gillian was delicate and smooth with her Waltz. The only awkward thing is the pause right in the middle of Charlene's dance. They stopped, and then they just picked up again; that was a bit weird. Back to Gillian, I enjoyed her dance as well, so I anticpate on seeing an official version where they can zoom in and out on the dance, and we can see it clearly. It is pretty amazing that they were able to add so many 'WOW' moments into a Waltz and still not lose its elegance. Please do make some posters/wallpapers with the dancing photos! Gillian looks so dazzling during the dance!

Thank you for sharing the photos! Gillian looks great in these photos; her hair, her make-up, her outfit, it's all so dazzling! Honestly, Gillian's dance was so much more challenging and filled with surprising stunts. The choregraphy was very good and each part is well put together and performed along with the music they have dance to. The music is really captivating and pulls you into the dance as they both compliement each other.

The most interesting ones were the one where her partner spinned her around by holding her hand and foot - I had wondered how he was able to pick up her hand and foot when I saw the previous clip. I have to say, it went smoothly and went with the flow and doesn't seem awkward on how they go about that spin - and the other one was in the beginning. I wasn't too clear on where Gillian was holding her partner, but I think it was around his neck in a twisted position as she was gracfully spun around the stage.

It's a pity Gillian had to go first. Gillian probably would have gotten a better score if she wasn't first. I still haven't seen William's but Charlene's - in my opinion, the most interesting was the two spins but Gillian's also have those incorporated in her waltz while the cartwheel, I don't find too interesting. Aside from the stunts, both their dancing and movement seemed just as amazing. Really a pity but I'm satisfied to some points because even though Gillian went first, her scores weren't too far behind. I hope EEG will let Twins continue to participate so I can see more amazing dances!

Forgot to say how impressive it was that Gillian never lost her balance from the spins . She was able land with stability and grace! I mean she was wearing heels too.

^I completely agree with you. Gillian's dance was much more enjoyable, it has more "Wow" moments and the moves were harder and executed very gracefully. On the last twirl, the guy looked like he threw Gillian!...lol, but she landed with grace, so props to Gillian! The transition into the spin wasn't awkward either, it was great. The dress Gillian wore also complimented her and was perfect for this dance. Can't wait for a clearer version.

Charlene's dance was boring, no offense, not that much happening for a ChaCha dance. At first, I thought the cartwheel would've been a great point in the dance, but when I watched it, it wasn't that interesting. I really don't like the spinning either, it seemed weird for that type of dance, like it didn't go there and was just added on to make more interesting moves, which I don't think worked.

I agree. Gillian is definitely letting us see that she has been working hard on her dancing. Previously, Gillian just hadn't been able to dance completely freely, but she has made such an improvement in her dancing. Her moves were really smoothly connected. I hope Gillian will keep up her hard work.

OMG, you guys won't believe it. I just read this from CCT; you know the song that Charlene danced to during her performance? The mandarin version of 'Cherry Red Guitar'? The name of it is called 'Invite Me To Dance', and it's a Gillian solo. I didn't even notice it when I watched the clip that megazerox posted up, but when I listened to it for a second time, it is only Gillian's voice!

Don't worry about it. They can say whatever they want to, if they really feel that way. We're here in this thread to support Gillian, and if others feel we need to get a life for any reason regarding our support for Gillian, it is simply up to them. We are at least clear on our minds that we didn't say anything rude regarding Charlene. Besides, we don't need to cause anymore commotions between fans.

I don't know about whic album it's going to be on, but that is what I read from CCT, and they are usually correct with their information. They wouldn't make up things about having solos because almost everyone there likes the uniting of Twins. I've been listening to the song a few times, and it does sound like Gillian only, but now I'm not sure if it's Gillian only or am I just deluding myself into think it's Gillian only.

I would believe it might be on the next version of their album because they can't possibly wait for their next Mandarin album. It'd be too far away. For Cantonese albums, they can usually sneak one or two Mandarin songs in without protest. I just don't understand why they made a solo version though.

I was watching the clip again (Gillian's dance is really beautiful!) and then I thought how the whole theme and such for Gillian's dance make her look like "an angel from above"....lolx I mean the spins, the dress, style and its color, and music all together. Yes, the Cantonese version was no doubt a Twins song. The DV version of the song sounds unclear, so I'm a bit confused as well. I'm close to certain that the chorus sounds like one voice, but the first line sounds like Charlene, yet it sounds like Gillian at the same time. This show is in Mandarin, so that is likely why a Mandarin song was used. Now, I really hope this show will be aired soon so that we can see Gillian's dance and listen to confirm if the song is hers. It really doesn't make sense why this song will be solo since it is a duet to start with. Hm, maybe they want to start a trend? There was somewhat a solo version of 'Hover Bird' since Gillian sang it at live performances while Lifesaver is purely a Twins song. Wouldn't it be a waste if this solo version just appeared during this event? I doubt that Gillian sang this song from the side while Charlene was dancing, so I'm assuming it's a recorded song. It is awkward because it does pose for promotion if they're playing it during an event like this. Oh, I'm sorry then. The Cantonese version had parts where they sang by themselves; the song was mostly sang together, but the beginning and the middle had parts where Gillian and Charlene sang alone. The recording thing was just my personal guess. It just doesn't seem likely to me that there would be a solo version of Gillian's on a Twins song. Lately, Twins have just been practicing for this dance competition and promoting 'Ho Hoo Tan'.

I'll be heading to the Phillipines in two weeks. It has a really good program there for me and I can get started with my internship. Well, it's not really an intership yet because I haven't been to a medical school but it's close to one. I'm just going there to see how everything works, see the medical school there, get to know the school--University of Phillipines; see how their systems works just about everything. It's a head start for me to choose which medical school I would like to get in. It's like a International Exchange Student Program except mine is dealing with Medical Programs. I'm really excited but at the same time I'm really scared.
I just found out that Hong Kong has a medical school there, too. Maybe I can go check it out during the whole two weeks I have to do whatever I like or go where ever I like too. I don't know yet.

From what I heard, it all sounded like Gillian. I really heard Gillian only.

Aw guys, I am not trying to start arguements, but I have judged events at my school before (talent show and a singing competition) and placement (who goes first and whatnot) has nothing to do with the score. Decisions and points are decided on an individual basis and we are encouraged not to compare performances when deciding the score. And from my experiance in marching band, going after a spectcular performance (which Gillians was) adds extra pressure on the people performing afterwards, because the judges have already been impressed, so you have to pull something out that is equally impressive or you will loose. So I don't think Gil's placement affected her score. She only lost by .3 of a point, that's hardly anything it all, and it is only the first round! We should be happy that Gillian has improved her dancing a lot

Now I will give my opinion on the dance...and give my opinion on Sa's dance in her thread

Honestly, the spins were quite impressive. Definately the highlight of the dance. But when then spins were not being performed I found the performance rather...boring. BUT I am guessing I feel that way cause the only video's I have seen are one-dimensional, you cannot really see's Gillian's facial expressions or foot work or any details like that. The waltz is not a really exciting dance anyway, you have to exagerrate (but not overexagerrate) the emotions portrayed in the dancing or else the performance will come of as stale. I am waiting for a better video before I give my final verdict, but so far my opinion on the dance is a positive one!
