I really don't want to talk about EEG and all that unhappy stuff, but I can never ignore it when discussing her career and her future.

HK is an easier place for stars to become famous, whether they be with or without talent, which is sad. Though what can the HK ent do? They don't have that many people. It's hard to find talent and those that are talented, sometimes just aren't given the oppertunities for many reasons.

Thinking about Gillian breaking into the Korean scene, is just a fantasy of mine. I don't even think about if she can survive there, cause it's unlikely that she'll even go that far. It's pathetic, it really is. EEG drives me insane. I don't think I've ever hated anyone so much.

Again, does anyone know what Gillian is doing? Will she be filming the WJ serial? Is she doing that right now? Hm, I'm picky towards Korean guys. Some are just cute, just hot, or just talented but not necessarily handsome or good looking like let's say Vic or even Edison. I say, if I ever make a music video of Gillian and a Korean artist, it would most likely be Won Bin, Jae Hee, Shiwon, or Max (very young but actually good looking).

I guess, there isn't much news on Gillian, the promotions of 'Diary' have begun so a lot of the attention and media is focused on that. I hope that Gillian will at least receive some special opportunities to perform LIVE, solo. As for making it into the Korean industry, Gillian can. Gillian reminds me so much of Kim Tae Hee; everyone keeps criticizing KTH as being a vase like actress, a beauty with no talent, and just because her facial features were so sharp and different, people automatically stereotyped her but now, she's so popular, it's unbelivable. KTH has definitely made a good impression after all these years of work and improvements. Hopefully, Gillian can walk in her footsteps but in Hong Kong because I honestly adore the two out from everyone. But KTH is more fortunate in that, she doesn't suffer from a biased treatment and isn't limited against almost every big thing that comes her way; she makes her own calls. I wish one day Gillian will be able to do that.

Thanks for the compliments. Yeah, I'm still experimenting, nothing much or new has happened haha; I'm soooo slow at this.

I guess, both Twins are now involved with 'Starlight Star' so I'm not that excited about the film even though the storyline may sound interesting. Hopefully, during Sa's busy promotions, Gillian can get some rest or practice for her vocals since there won't be much about Gillian during this time.

I also like the closeups of this music video. They're very clear and upfront, not to the side or too dark at times like the EEG version.

6AM: Pointless film. Unless you're a big fan of Boy'z or one or the other, it's bearable. It's suppposed to be funny, I admit, only a few times though and Twins only appear for a short while but still cute because Gillian's character is really cute.

The Death Curse: Another pointless film but worth watching due to Gillian's weird character but not exactly buying; one positive thing, you really don't get to see Gillian act that odd but the other disadvantage is that Gillian has limited scenes though, the main character is of course, Sa and um, Sa's character isn't exactly too lovable either.

Twins Effect 2: The screentime is better. Gillian again is the serious kick butt one whereas Sa is the cute entertainer but both Twins have a love relationship developing throughout the film. You might get a bit peeved in that, Gillian's partner is Jaycee, not that great looking but will do. I say buy it. Because this is by most, Gillian's most onscreen time in a Twins film plus it's not that often we see Gillian in sort of modernish ancient clothes.

Summer Breeze of Love: Another pointless Twins film or at least I personally thought that way. Gillian really does receive the worst pairings in Twins films. I mean, Dave here, Ekin there, Jaycee over there, and as for the rest, Gillian goes solo. The storyline was not that interesting and the couples were odd but Gillian's characer was semi-cute and ditsy, which is worth watching but not necessarily buying.

Sorry, my reviews seem quite negative don't they? Well, what can I say. All of these films are Twins films and Twins films just never bring out the best of Gillian in particular.

Seems like Gillian is standing a bit closer to the camera; perhaps that is what makes the height a bit different this time.

6 am: If you're watching it for Gillian or Twins, this is definitely not a good film. They're just guest starring, they're only there for about 5 minutes at the max. lol, if you like Kenny or Steven though, it's not that bad. Personally, I thought this film was pointless. Maybe it's because I had hoped too much.

the death curse - I actually enjoyed this movie. It was scary I think? lol, well I'm scared easily. Gillian's character is... different. The main focus is on Charlene though, which kind of ruined things for me. Of these four movies however, I would buy this one.

twins effect 2: I didn't even bother watching this one. TE1 was bad enough, I couldn't even finish the whole movie, so I didn't watch this.

Hm, I'm not sure how big of a role each Twin will portray; nothing is confirmed confirmed yet so don't lose hope yet guys. Well, rumors were saying that Gillian was the chosen one for the role but you know, Gillian can never really shine solo so Twins was suggested, to at least keep EEG's part of the bargain. If in the beginning, Gillian is already being restricted this way, not being able to film a movie alone, what makes me believe that this project would be any different from the previous Twins films? Can't help but be discouraged. Gillian is completely being pulled out of films except for Twins films.

Hm, I'm not sure if this film is the one Edison was referring to or not but don't be surprised if the pairing was Edison-Charlene because you know, Sa tends to get all of the hot guys in Twins films plus, why would Albert allow Edison and Gillian to rekindle their flames for each other? Vincy will surely be upset. If the role of Helen was once passed on from Gillian to Sa, I wouldn't be surprised if Gillian's original role next to Edison was again passed on to Sa as well; things just work so unfairly at times.

The one that Ronald forgot about was something that Gillian composed. I'm glad that Gillian is still pretty optimistic about it even though he 'forgot' about it. On an interview, Gillian expressed that each time she plays her own work to herself, it appeals to her differently than the time before; she said she thought it was good earlier, but as she played it recently, she feels she can do something more to it.

Yeah, that's what I want to think as well. I mean, Mani could have just mentioned about Charlene's composing only, and no one would question about Gillian, but she did mention about Gillian writing lyrics. Even Gillian herself didn't publicly announce that she is writing lyrics at the moment. So ideally, Gillian would have some kind of participation in the music industry for Mani to bring it up so randomly and state that she is encouraging Gillian to make more attempts. That is what I'd like to think, to keep on the bright side anyway.

Yeah, the editing is better in the TVB version than the EEG version. In the EEG version, there was a part that really had horrible editing. I believe it was a part where the MV was fading into a faraway shot of Gillian, and then it was suddenly a scene of Charlene, then they went back to that previous shot of Gillian. You'd think they could've gotten that little glimpse of Gillian out of there to perfect the editing, huh?

Anyway, nothing has been confirmed yet about 'Starlight Star'. We have heard about only one female lead, but there was someone over at CCT who claimed that they saw in a film magazine that it said Twins under 'Starlight Star'. Still, nothing has been confirmed officially. Neither of Andrew Lau nor EEG has said anything about who is taking the role yet. They are likely still working on the script because it is meant to be a grand production.

The only actual facts we have right now are the female lead will be one of Twins, or both, the male lead will most likely be a Korean actor, and the script revolves around a romance between a Chinese girl and a Korean guy; the romance will be set forward over music.

It is weird of how rumours have it so huge that the role is Gillian's.

I'm really happy to hear that Gillian is writing lyrics again. I wonder how her first lyrics sounds like. well, those security guards are really stupid. but couldn't blame them. maybe it's too crowded and they couldn't see gillian or the bling-bling that charlene wore was so sparkling that it blinded them. he he.

It irritated me how the security guards pushed Gillian away, and not to mention Charlene found that very amusing as she was giggling about that during her interview. I know it's nothing serious, but personally, I'm not happy about it.

As for the pairing in the movie... it's just wishful thinking of mine that EG would be together. The chances of it is near 0.

lol, anyway why don't we talk about something else... erm... When did you start liking Gillian and what was it that attracted you to her?

For me, I think it's almost been five years, ever since Twins came out, I liked Gillian. I wasn't crazy about her though and I never was crazy over a female artiste. It was after reading EG fanfiction that I began to like the pairing more and more, which led me to idolizing Gillian. These pass two years, my love for EG has died down a bit, but when it comes down to it, they're still my favorite pairing. Although I'm not obsessing over EG as I once did, Gillian has become a part of me, her issues are now my issues xD

It's hard for me to say what was it I liked about her in the beginning that made me such a fanatic today, but that's how things are, sometimes you like something and someone for no specific reason. My mom always tells me that if you really love something or someone, but can't list the reasons why, then that's true love. lol, well things are different in this situation... but oh wells.

So what about you guys?

Well like I always say it was back when I saw their 2002 concert. I couldn't really tell the difference and sometimes I thought Gillian was Charlene and I was like why are there two Charlenes? LOL. But I think if I remember I actually liked Charlene better than I changed to Gillian but I don't remember, maybe because she didn't really smile much and makes me attract to her more? I don't know..LOL.. but yeah I was a Twins fan but after all those unfairness I saw I started to only contrate on Gillian.

I forgot today was the day for their China concert, and so I saw some new concert pictures and I was like how come they got concert pictures? And they have a new costume which looks very pretty!

Hello, I'm new here. I think the first time I saw Gillian was on Monkey King. At that time, I thought she was really pretty, but didn't make an effort to look up her name. It was later that I found out about her. I knew she was pretty all along, but now I've skimmed through everything that you wrote, I realised that she's more than a pretty face. I'm not as crazy about her as you guys all are, because I'm from Australia, and I usually only watch TVB series, so I don't see a lot of her. However, when I saw that bias issue, it really struck my nerves. That changing clothes thing was even worse.

Even though it doesn't make sense, when I see an artist, no matter how good their acting or singing is, I won't like them until I know for sure that they have a good personality. I think I'm pretty safe with Gillian here.

I don't think so, because according to Twins CCT when Twins got the song award for 'Around the world with 80 dollars' Gillian only made a speech and didn't perform. Charlene and Gillian also got the group award, but I don't think she sang any song then either. People like S.H.E, who also got a song award and the group award sang...(they sang 'Chu dian' and 'Bu xiang jiang da') so I wonder why they didn't let Gillian sing? It's not like she hasn't done it before. I mean singing alone without Charlene...

So they won 2 awards? Aww that sucks that they didn't let Gillian sing 'Around The World With 80 Dollars'. I think that she would able to sing it herself without Charlene.
