I think it would be weird if Gillian's solo didn't have a MV because the little sentence at the right corner of the page seems to say something like the melody of this song is very gentle, the notes are not too hard to handle, so it is very suitable to choose for singing karaoke. If there is not a MV for the song, then the song would not appear at the karaoke places. That's why I'd say that it would be weird for the magazine to be recommending it for singing, but it is technically impossible to do so when there is no MV. Even though I don't feel that this song of Gillian's is very 'K song-ish', I would still hope that this would somehow mean that there'll be a MV. If not, let's just be happy that someone actually noticed this song.

The whole series will take two months. The series has been filming for one month and will take another month to finish. It is probably true that the character of 'Isabella's wasn't needed that early during the filming since that character is not the female lead, which is a good thing because that way, Gillian would not have to stay that long. Something makes me think that the character that Gillian will be playing won't have too much of action in it; I mean, the original actress was Isabella. I doubt it would have that many action scenes for Isabella. The character will have romance to it; Gillian will either be pairing up with Dicky or Stephen, according to Isabella. The name of series is called Plan A.

At least your channel airs it; the chinese channel I have doesn't even bother to air the TVB Singers Anniversary. I'll have to resort to watching it online. Twins aren't appearing that many times though; they are only appearing twice throughout the whole show, according to the schedule; once with Janice/Jill/Soler, and the other time is with a huge group of people. I would say that we're basically seeing them once.

Good luck on your speech! I know that it's huge tension when you have to say a speech infront of the whole school. I remember once, I had to say one in Chinese infront of the whole school+parents during my grad at Chinese school. Urgh, not cool. Anyway, it's definitely feels more comfortable to say speeches in English.

There is still a possibility that it is on the chart. It may possibly just be somewhere under Top 10, and it could still rise up. Remember the KG duet? We thought it didn't get on at first, but really it was at 14th place during the first week. The week after, it rose to 7th place, so 'You Are Not A Good Lover' could be on. If it's not visible next week, then we probably won't ever see it.

Then again, maybe it really didn't get on. I mean, it's already banned on the 903 chart, but TVB actually has good relations with EEG, so they might put it on the JSG chart. Gillian could always come back for things like these; I highly doubt that Gillian will be staying there for the whole time; Ho Hoo Tan could use more promotion. She will at least be back here and there during the filming period of her series, but it won't be a surprise if Charlene goes to JSG alone either. She has gone alone before.

Seems like I'm a bit late but I'll comment anyway.

Mani was right, the dress was quite loose on Gillian, making her appear meatier than usual but since I wasn't there, I'm not sure how Mani expressed that notion. Working with Gillian all these years, I would think that Mani knows Gillian inside out, Mani should have known that weight has always been a sensitive issue for Gillian and could have shared her opinion in a more gentle way in order to avoid hurting Gillian.

Now, I hate this paragraph. I despise the way Mani describes Gillian; someone who continuously spends money on useless things. Yes, it's very nice of Mani to advise Gillian to invest into her future but it's really unnecessary to dwell why, that Gillian has no future aspirations or whatnot, that is literally and directly saying, Gillian has no mission in life, which is completely false. Gillian's interviews without Mani watching over her totally shows the stronger, wiser, and more independent Gillian. But this is Mani's perception so I guess, Mani has always viewed Gillian in such a low light.

If Mani was so heartbroken for Gillian's health, why not accept romance films for Gillian then, instead of action ones? Yeah, so I demand more actions than just empty words.

Um, Gillian is human, flesh and bones. Uh duh, Mani said it herself, a meal break, which means everyone gets to rest and eat to refill their energy but unfortunately, Gillian missed her meal due to Mani and yet, she showed no remorse, rather sarcasm. Yes, this entire blog of Mani's is based upon Gillian's flaws or at least the flaws Mani believes Gillian has. But one thing I do highly agree with Mani is, Gillian really needs to stop being too nice and courteous to people and just speak up more often. Obviously, Mani doesn't care about Gillian's feelings by writing this, so why should Gillian care about Mani or anyone's feelings for that matter?

Anyway, hopefully, Mani does fire Gillian's fashion designer. That fashion designer stinks, badly. I don't know if this is the same fashion designer in the beginning of Twins but um, his/her taste has declined tremendously. Twins used to have the cutest and trendiest clothes but now, um, they're lagging behind.

I really hate Mani, she seems nice to Gillian and Charlene, but really she's not. Gillian is not fat at all! Someone said they saw her at a signature thing and they said Gillian looks perfect, and not fat at all. Probably it's just because poor Charlene is sick and too skinny all the time, so it makes Gillian look fat, but she's normal weighted. If she gets any skinnier, people would say stuff again. That would definitely be the most ideal. Hopefully, they can make a MV for Gillian and have it be decently invested in. They should invite a male guest, or maybe two would be better. One could be Gillian's first love, and the other can appear as the new love of her life as she decided to move on towards the end of the song. Even though it would be nice for Edison to be in it, it's highly unlikely, so I guess I would root for Kenny to be her guest in her MV. Now, I just hope they actually make one.

I have no idea. 903 just doesn't have reasons for their actions; they probably just don't like it? I thought they would air it since they like self-composed songs, but for some odd reason, they banned it. 903 doesn't support Twins as much as they used to; Twins is lagging so far behind on their airplay, so I think they'll have to settle for silver this year. Twins aren't able to plug another song until 'You Are Not A Good Lover' falls from every chart, so I would say it's highly difficult for them to try to gain their airplays back.

The quality of the clip isn't that good, so it would be better to watch it again when a better version is recorded from TV. You can take a sneak peek at it though.

The part with Soler is so cool. It actually looks like they're a mirror to each other. Surprisingly, even Twins looked more like a mirror than Janice and Jill. The whole performance was pretty good in general. The only flaw is that Jill and one of the Soler members lost track of their dancing, so there was a short moment where Gillian was the only one dancing in her group. It also sounds like Gillian had pretty loud vocals that night. When Gillian, Charlene, Janice, and Jill sang together, Janice and Jill weren't audible at all; it was basically Gillian's voice, but you can hear bits of Charlene's voice. When Twins sang with Soler, I could only hear Gillian during the female part. I'm not sure if Charlene was actually singing though; it looked like her lips weren't moving, but at some parts they were.

Girls wore white again? Well..it's ok! I like Gillian's outfit..but her make-up is a no-no! The pink doesn't really match....

Anyway, I found a clearer version of the performance at CCT, and with the better quality sound, Twins actually sound more balanced than how it sounded on the previous clip that had worse sounding. Anyway, I don't think the singing was that extraordinary, to tell the truth. I would put it as mediocre.

I think it's just the choice of clothing. Gillian was never fat to begin with, but it's the clothes they give her that make her look chubby. The dress she wore to the Singers Anniversary should be what she should be wearing more often; the dress wraps around her body nicely and shows off her figure.

Hm, Gillian seems to be the same thin size, after the weight loss. The dress outlines her figure so perhaps that makes Gillian look thinner?

Gillian isn't photogenic to begin with. We just need to see the actual ad in order to see Gillian's true beauty. But Gillian does already look extremely gorgeous and thin in the Regene still photos. But because Gillian is standing in a full frontal posture, it makes her look bigger than Sa, who is standing in a side posture, which always makes a person appear thinner than usual. I wonder why they didn't switch the postures? I mean, Sa is supposedly the thinner one right? So a full frontal would have appeared better for Sa as it doesn't make her look too thin and it would have been better for Gillian as well as Gillian wouldn't appear bigger than Sa. Of course, Gillian isn't but the postures do make a difference.

The designer should have given Gillian a necklace or the hairstylist shouldn't have put her hair up. Why don't they ever realize that something is missing? Hm, Gillian's voice was quite audible but um, Twins' singing was so-so, could have been better especially when Soler's voices are quite deep, even at Twins' standard notes, Twins still would have sounded nice but eh, oh well.

I like the outfit too. I too agree with you. By putting Gillian's hair up, it just makes it more visible that Gillian's neck is bare. I would have rather preferred Gillian having her hair down with a cute bow hair thing that sort of holds your hair in place, I forgot what those things were called. Gillian would have looked cuter.

The mirror thing was really cool! I espically love the Jill and Janice one because when Jill got out that chair and I saw it behind her I acutually thought it was a mirror! For singing 'Why Why Tell Me Why..' I didn't really hear much of Gillian. I heard more of Charlene cause her voice is much louder....I barly heard Janice or Jill but you could hear a little of Gillian. The Twins and Solar one, you heard more of Gillian than Charlene. Gillian extra little turn or whatever you call it was cute!

Really? Hm, Sa's voice was the most audible for one line and then after that, it was all Gillian and a bit of Janice and Jill. As for Soler's mirror, haha, they weren't in sync much and when it came to singing, Sa's voice was again audible for one short line and then when Twins had to sing in higher notes just to synchronize with Soler's voices, it was all left for Gillian. Even though, this wasn't much of a full blown practice for Gillian but at least Gillian sang with others, a new experience. I think I enjoyed Janice and Jill's mirror more than others because they were smooth with their moves and seems like their mirror skit was longer?
