I thought the curly hair style would be for the serial too, because usually in a serial with a foreign person, guys tend to wear suits and girls tend to wear dresses with curly hair. So is the wig that Gillian wore to the function really the hair style she'll have in the serial? Personally, I don't like it, but I could change my mind later on when I see the whole outfit and the actual serial.

Thanks for the pictures you guys. I like both the black & red dress and the black dress with curls, though I actually like the black one more. In the beginning of the year, Gillian's curls were big and outworn (if that can be applied to hair styles), but the curls she has now compliments her, it's not too much.

Yep, if the crew does their job good enough, they can still get the point through without actual kissing. Hopefully anyway. A pairing of Andrew and Gillian doesn't seem too bad because Andrew is quite good looking, and it's cool to know that he's actually a model. Gillian should be at least comfortable when filming with Andrew since they've already worked together in her last serial. Did you know that Andrew is in 'Flying Fox' as well? He was also one of the people who defended Gillian during her incident. Anyway, I look forward to their actual collaboration as a couple as well since they were not a couple in the last serial.

Uh, obviously because films would bring visible benefits to Gillian in HK. Whereas, Mainland serials don't travel to the attention of HK audience. Well, you have basically written out everything that the 2nd version includes. That is all that the description tells us. I suppose the t-shirt is just a new way to attract buyers. 'Von Dutch' is apparently a brand name, so maybe they're shooting for double promotion between Twins and the brand? I thought they would have added more MVs to the album since they postponed the release date of the 2nd version. Adding a MV to the film themesong would be nice, at least we can see what kind of product we should be expecting for this upcoming Twins film. Although we never did have much confidence in it, Gillian still did a lot for this film, like the hanging from the wires. Hm, seems like I've gotten very off-topic.

I don't think he was in them because the character he is playing is Fuk Hong On/Chan Ka Lok (I'm assuming he is playing both characters because they have always had one actor play these two roles altogether). Both of these characters are to an important extent in the serial, but they generally don't take part in the action scenes, which was what the trailers focused on. Sometimes it sounds true when people say that Mainland is somewhat more humane than HK, media-wise. If we take Gillian's incident as an example, the strongest responses we heard were those from Gillian's close friends, followed by the Mainland artistes who likely don't know Gillian as well as HK artistes do, but the responses of HK artistes in general actually ranked lower. They generally just expressed that it's a pitiful thing and how they personally should avoid it by doing whatever. To the most, the Mainland paparrazi would not go film someone changing.

Anyway, I hope there will be a 'Making Of' for both of Gillian's serials. That way, we can see the NGs and the amusing things that occurred behind the scenes. Hopefully, we'll see more on how Gillian was during the filming of her serials. I hope they will report more about the storyline of the serials; even with our imagination being on the roll, I still want a bit more solid evidence of the plot revealed, whether it be for us to get excited over or to lighten up the big hopes.

Either way, I think Gillian will definitely have something new to offer. She always does, even with her limited scripts. There is always something new that Gillian is able to carry on into her acting, surprising us, and making further admire her. Hopefully, seeing that this isn't a role that was designated for her, it will include plenty of things that are different from Gillian's usual comfort zone.

Basically, they are just saying that Twins have a big chance of losing the Gold Award for groups this year to Soft Hard, and Charlene expressed that she and Gillian has never personally worried about sales of records or box office results, but rather their management company does. She said that they didn't have Gold every single year, so just getting an award is good enough, and they will be happy if Soft Hard got an award. Not getting an award doesn't mean that Twins didn't work hard.

Thanks for sharing. This person does have a lot of rare clips. I have never seen the Making of "Happy-Go-Lucky'; hehe, both Kent and Wayne praised Gillian for being hardworking, and that the three of them had a wonderful time filming together. Watch the 'Making Of' for 'The Medallion'. Gillian was so youthful back then, and you can catch her speak bits of English in the clips.

I have a suggestion, Little_Purple_Bell, why don't you be the topic starter? I liked how the topic starters began both of the DBSG and Barbie's threads, perhaps you can combine both for Gillian? I mean, it is Gillian's first page, make it beautiful like the way Gillian is.

Um, I like how the topic starter used the 'hide' function for the biographies and also linked back to the old thread at the top, letting the viewers know that we are on our second thread. And I like how the topic starter also provided all of these links on Barbie's page. Hopefully, that won't be too much work?

Hm, perhaps all of us can each choose our favorite photo of Gillian to post up in the first post of the second thread? I'll start first then; here's mine. Perhaps you can decrease the size as it will be on the first page or um, I guess, it'll be fine since AF has adopted the technique of minimizing photos and they become their original size once we click on them.

Me? Well, I've never thought of it. Wouldn't you want to do it, asillysaint? I mean, I don't mind doing it because it does seem like an honourable thing to do, to present our new beginning. I liked all of your suggestions for the new Gillian thread. Combining what the topic starters did for those two threads sounds good. I liked the format of the DBSG thread, but I liked how plentiful of information Barbie's thread was. We should merge these ideas. As asillysaint said, share any of your ideas here, and then we'll come up with the best format for the continuation of our Gillian thread.

Yeah, I wish we were notified a bit earlier in the day, then we could have worked on it a bit. Fortunately, the thread is closing in a week, so we still have time to plan.

Aw..our thread is going to close?? Well..the good part is we get a part 2! YAY! When we create part 2 is it right under the Gillian Chung thread? IN the HK Female section right?
