I honestly don't think Gill is being left out.  Sure Char has some more movies, but maybe Gill will have some more this coming year.  I read somewhere that gill gets more  offers to film movies, even though char's movies do better in the box office.  Which goes to show that it's not entirely eeg's fault for not promoting Gill. Perhaps Char is just lucky to get better movies.  Besides, Char has a waaay better voice...Gill's is too soft and weak...it's very airy, it doesn't provide a powerful effect to the song..that's why char sing more.  And as for movies...i think they both have potential.  And from the beginning  it always seemed to me that more ppl liked gill..only because she was prettier though.  Guys seem to like Gill better cause she's more feminine.  Gill is beautiful, however the first time I saw a twin picture..I liked Char more becuase she was cute, pretty...but most importantly she look lively and full of life..where as gill seems to pale in comparison.  And I must admit that Char is getting more more and beautiful recently.

Wow, you're so passionate about this issue. It's good to know there are still Gillian fans out there who appreciate her personality and spirit. I do wonder why EEG promote Charlene more...maybe they hope to raise her popularity so when the day comes and Twins split they can make money off her. It is just like Boy'z, Kenny is being promoted and will be continued to be heavily promoted next year, whereas the new Boy'z seem to be stuck in a rut...EEG's freezer, but then again it's not like anyone likes Boy'z anyway....
Right now I think we should be worried about keeping Twins popularity up this year. Their popularity dropped dramatically in 2005, mostly because they do not seem to improve in singing and performances, yet they say every year that the try their best. I'm more worried about keeping Twins together right now, rather than Gillian being promoted, even though I've always been a Gillian supporter. What Twins need to do is improve. I know they try their best but sometimes that is just not good enough. They need to practice more, learn their lyrics and have more of a stage presence. When they day comes for Twins to split and Gill and Sa go their seperate ways I will be rooting for Gillian, but right now I need to support them both because without fans support they will definately split.

Oh and about the HK fan base...there are hardly any fans in HK anymore. Most fans come from neighbouring Asian countries like Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Mainland China and places like Australia. Of course there are still fans in HK but their popularity has dropped there so much, basically because all the orignal HK Twins fans have grown up and moved on. I don't think I've ever been to a genuine HK fan forum before.

Yes, Twins' popularity in HK is falling, but I feel that ALL EEG artists are experiencing a drop in popularity in HK.
Nic - ever since he returned from his break, he was never as popular as he once was. I've seen in some forums that people wouldn't go and watch a movie because he was in it.
Joey - despite her singing ability, she has a LARGE group of haters. For what she said when receiving the award at CRHK, people in a HK forum started over 10 threads, each about 5-6 pages long, just plainly bashing her, saying how she was 'chuen'. She was also booed at at the CRHK award ceremony.
People were actually happy to see EEG winning hardly anything at the CRHK award ceremony. They even said that the music industry will be made healthier without EEG.
Yes, Twins need to improve their singing, but what they need even more is a better record company. A record company that wouldn't load them with jobs, so they would have the time to actually practice their singing. A record company that thinks quality instead of quantity. I know that it's impossible now, with their contract and all, but it's what they need as much as improvement.

About Twins 06 Concert; I don't see why EEG didn't approve Kenny to also be a guest star. I mean, Kenny should further promote his album with Gillian in singing their duet together. Since Charlene had an opportunity to show her singing abilities with a male artist so should Gillian. That would had been super cute.

And why Isabella? Gosh, Twins and Isabella are like on opposite corners of the table but yet EEG still managed to associate them together so why not KENNY????!!!!

Of course we're aware that Gillian herself can't just walk up to Mani and demand to be promoted; that's why we're planning on giving action within our power to stand up for her as Gillian supporters. None of us know whether EEG are going to take our emails seriously about the biased treatment, but we, as Gillian supporters, want to at least try to help Gillian in this situation where she's stuck with half of her foot in the EEG freezer. We just want the word equality to be written in the EEG Dictionary.

I used to believe along with many other people that Charlene answers most of the questions during a Twins interview because Gillian doesn't like talking much, but now, I totally get annoyed when people use that as an excuse for Charlene to be the one talking the whole time. If any of you saw the Twins X At17 Concert, you'll see what I mean. Twins were done singing a song and they started talking to the audience. There were at least 5 times of when Gillian started a statement and Charlene just came right in to interrupt with what she wanted to say. Gillian looked so embarassed if you looked closely at her. She would just stop her sentence as Charlene comes in and stay silent, and when she tries to talk again, Charlene just cuts her off again. I don't think Charlene is doing it on purpose, since she seems like the type that would just express anything that crosses her mind, but she should be more considerate. If Gillian really does need Charlene to answer every single question for her, where's Charlene when Gillian is being interviewed alone?

If Gillian can't do any kissing scenes, why did she and Charlene kiss multiple times? Isn't kissing a female in public or on stage more of a wreck to her pure image than a kissing scene with a male that's actually required in a movie? The only "kissing" scene Gillian has ever done is a peck on Stephen Fung's cheek. EEG's saying that they won't let her kiss until she's 30. Gillian has expressed that ever since filming 49 Days, she understands how to handle love scenes, so I don't see any problem with her filming a romance movie that she's been wanting to participate in.

From The Missing Piece Concert, you can see that Gillian is being very supported. While singing Fault Of Composer, Gillian received a large bouquet of flowers aside from the one big flower that each of Twins got. When Twins were singing Kindergarten, you could clearly hear a large portion of the audience singing along with Gillian when she was singing, whereas Charlene was pretty much by herself. Gillian looked so cool when doing KungFu and singing 好事多為. I see that there's no use on that, even though Charlene and Gillian both worked hard on the concert, the media only reports on the news of how Charlene is singing a Miriam Yeung song to Ronald Cheng during the concert. The fan base of Gillian is strong, and she made a lot of improvements in this concert, but the only thing holding her back is her own company, so we've got to at least attempt to give her help even if in the end, it doesn't work.

^No, you didn't ask both sides of the fans to peace out. In the haters thread, you stood up for Charlene because someone was insulting her. You said something on the lines of "This is a Gillian's haters thread, why are you dragging Charlene into it?". You praised Gillian, and I appreciate that, but you certainly did not ask the them to stop their insults towards Gillian like what you do with Charlene. I don't know what EEG's playing at but what ever it is it doesn't sound good. I always got the feeling that Mani liked Charlene more, I think that's why she has always been the one that got promoted. Are you guys going to email EEG about this issue then? I think we should start to gather more fans that feel the same way about EEG ill treatment towards Gillian, that way we can't be ignored.

            We Gillian fans and also Twins fans and we have notice that Charlene has been getting more promoted then Gillian. I find this quite unfair to Gillian because since they are "Twins" they should share the same image but then why am I seeing more of Charlene in the movie theatre and don't see much of Gillian. I have also realise that EEG restricted Gillian from kissing scenes which is unreasonable because Charlene is younger but allow to be any role she wants but i think they have equal potential and Gillian should be allowed just the same as Charlene. I have also found out that there is more movies that has been offer to Gillian but still there is more Charlene in the movies theatre. I have already heard about two movie of Charlene coming out this year and solo album that Charlene might be producing but no news of Gillian and people are assuming this is a "Charlene year". I like both of them in Twins and i want to see them both as much in their acting or singing career.
