Oh thanks for the edit. Haha. I do actually LOVE listening to Gillian sing solo so my MP3 player does have a collection of Gillian solo songs both live and studio. It's just funny because I thought that I was like the only one who transfers the live files into my mp3 player despite the quality. I guess, it's quite normal then. Yes, it is Hover Bird but Fans know LifeSaver more so I just advertise what fans know best but I guess I'll fix it since I don't want fans to misunderstand.

^ You know what's so silly of me? I accidently reuploaded your edited version but instead of labeling it as Starlight Amusement/Carnival, I renamed it as Hover Bird...ahhh! So the file name is incorrect but oh well. As long as fans listen to Gillian, it should be alright I guess.

EEG should give Gillian and Charlene each another solo song to perform like they did back in 2003 for the album "Touch Of Love" where Gillian sang "My Father, Mother" and Charlene sang "Next Stop Diva Queen", then we can hear each of their improvements more carefully. Actually I think that is what they're doing because I remember Mani saying in an interview that they'll be having solo songs on their next album, but their next album is a mandarin one?
You're welcome for the edit. I'm glad you liked it since I wasn't completely satisfied with the editing; I wish I could've fixed up the beginning more than it is now. From editing that song, I've found that the bit rate actually does give an effect on how good the quality is for the song; I had to convert the bit rate of the song to 320kbps before editing it in order to keep it at a good quality, then converting it back to 128kbps so the file size be so big for uploading. At least now it sounds nicer when I listen to it on my mp3 player! I'm actually getting obsessed with Starlight Carnival/Amusement all over again from hearing Gillian's solo of the song!

Now it'll have a chance to get a place in the karaoke section!!! Wow! I just listened to the performance of Lifesaver that Twins did on RTHK, and I think Gillian's trying a new way of singing to get people to stop saying that she sounds too quiet while singing. Her voice was actually COVERING Charlene's. 
But in my opinion, I'd rather her sing as she normally does though. It's louder, but it doesn't sound as nice, possibly because I'm not used to it.

I just wanna say I like Twins a lot too, and I think Gillian has a lot of potential in movies. Ever since Beyond Our Ken and House of Fury, she has shown tremendous potential to be a professional acclaimed actress such as Cecilia Cheung. It looks like her future in movies may actually surpass Charlene in the future.
Having said that though, I think Twins fan shouldn't diss one or the other. Both are very cool, and we shoul hope to see both succeed in the entertainment industry individually or solo. Support Gillian or Charlene, but you don't have to bring down either one of them.

Gillian's voice really does override Charlene's voice in this, though I wouldn't say this is her best performance, but it does put a lid on all those comments that say that she can't sing loud.

Gillian sounds great to me actually. And I am impressed that Gillian is much more dominant in this performance versus all the rest. Even though Gillian doesn't sound as good in comparison to her other Live solos but this is pretty nice. You can sense that Gillian is extremely confident in this performance and does perform quite well. She's not quite out of tune, note, or melody but she does seem a bit pressured and rushed in a way but overall still wonderful.
I guess Gillian is much more comfortable singing solo from recent observations because she's not always in a tight spot with Charlene so she relaxes way more thus performing better.
Gosh, Gillian just keeps on improving more and more!

I was looking at Twins' schedule for the rest of this month and it doesn't look like Gillian will be having any promotion events for the movie this month. There are Chinese New Year events and she has a 3 days break. I hope promotion will begin as soon as Gillian returns from her break....
I was just thinking .... <49 days> is a horror film, so it couldn't have been Gillian who rejected filming <Abnormal Beauty>...(the papers said that Gillian rejected it because she was scared to film horror movies...)....

Well, you know how dictating EEG is. I also don't believe that Gillian rejected the role either because she may be assumed to be quiet, conservative, and reserved but she's quite open minded to a variety of roles/characters.
Haha. Isn't it funny though? Aw...Edison better stop being a distant stranger and call her or something. I bet he has secretly after hearing the news. They still seem to share that bond but perhaps due to different companies now, different career styles, and projects...they've lost contact but not completely though.

Singing - Her recent live singing is great, especially her solos. We can tell by listening that she is trying to get people to stop criticizing of her quiet voice by singing louder.
Acting - Her recent movies such as Beyond Our Ken which got her a nomination for Best Actress, House Of Fury which gave her an approval of doing action movies, and even Bug Me Not gives her a sign of improvement for a Critique posted on the Hong Kong Film Awards website stated that she and Candy Lo were the only two people who shined in the entire film.
Way of Facing the Media - Gillian used to be extremely shy and practically NEEDED Charlene by her side at all times, but we can see that gradually she's trying hard to make it on her own. The proof is that she used to say that she couldn't possibly go onto stage alone to perform, but now, she did it twice! She went to two awards ceremonies alone and sang songs all by herself! Way to go, Gillian!

You are right. Why didn't Gillian and Kenny take photos together?? That would had been the highlight and Kodak moment of the night. Since Kenny was promoting their new filmed MV that night, why didn't they just snap a shot together to further advertise their collaboration??!!
And Kenny should had taken a picture with his master correct? The other cute guy is Wilson Chen Bo Lin. I guess, Wilson has a movie contract with EEG artists or something because his films always involve some EEG artist. Haha. But it's ok...he's cute. Yeah, Age isn't a concern for Gillian because she still looks extremely young and Charlene at times even appears older than Gillian. If I didn't know Twins' profiles I would seriously have thought that Charlene was older and that's not anything personal towards Charlene but that was just my first impression. Then we could get an inside story on how Kenny tried to get Gillian drunk. I wonder Kenny actually is going to be picking up after her as a servant. I REALLY REALLY want to watch the MV; I hope there are two versions, an EEG version and a TVB version, then we can watch it twice

You know what's interesting, when Kenny and Charlene filmed their MV together...reporters/newscast were all over the place and how did they know that a MV was in the process of being filmed?? Of course EEG had to notify them for news. But it's funny how for Gillian and Kenny, there are no news so far. Perhaps, the photos/news clips of the MV event aren't released yet. But that's weird though, the news should be very updated with almost everything?! I'm surprised Kenny had to reveal that they were filming because if he hadn't, no one would had known that a MV was already produced because the album had been released for quite some time now and his other MVs were already close to being finished or they were already completed and now they film a MV of the duet?? They should had done that earlier but maybe with the MV still fresh in the audience's minds, the release of Gillian's new movie could also be indirectly promoted.

I really have no idea on EEG's plans of Kenny's 2nd version of Musick. There might or might not be another duet depending on well the duet is currently running in HK. If the results are favorable then perhaps EEG may release their second duet. Both Gillian and Kenny may have already recorded their second duet but it really depends on the market and final decision of EEG whether or not it's going to be released so we the public will never know if a second duet does in fact exist or not.
The news couldn't have been referring to the Legend of Love theme because that was quite some time ago but then again, I don't know.
I know. EEG is cutting themselves short by prohibiting Gillian. Gillian outshines all of the tricks and lost opportunities EEG has caused her. I believe even without EEG, Gillian's career will still blossom.
Yeah, about the movie of Kenny and Gillian; it's so obvious that EEG hates to accept projects of Gillian being lead. I mean, EEG rejected so many lead roles/characters to accept dumb minor supporting roles in some films like Bug Me Not, Love On the Rocks...etc?? That's crazy and stupid.
Anyways...I am excited about the MV. I hope it's highly budgeted and not some cheap product.
Gillian's hairdo "Double Lost Valentine's Day" MV was extremely elegant and extraordinaryly pretty. I love almost every hairstyle of Gillian's except for the short and poofy ones.
