I'm pretty sure that the kiss on the cheek in 49 Days will be real, unlike that one in "Colour Of The Truth" with Raymond; I agree that that kiss looked far from being real. Gillian said in an interview that she learned many lessons and techniques of how to handle romance scenes while filming 49 Days; therefore, they finally persuaded EEG to let her do this one.

I think 49 Days is the first movie that she's ever kissed anyone in. Gillian has expressed that all the previous movies that showed her "kissing" anyone were done with tricks of the camera because she hasn't kissed anyone until 49 Days, but I reckon that screenshot from U-Man posted above looks really real!

Just recently, Twins performed Lifesaver @ 2006 RTHK Awards and all I have to say is: Gillian performed so well that night. Actually, both Twins did a fantastic job. Both have tremendously improved in terms of their live performances; Gillian's voice outshined in volume in this performance yet so lovely and in perfect melody. Gillian's voice radiated quite loudly, lively, and powerfully. This is just another performance showing that yes, Gillian IS finally unleashing her singing talents and as for acting potential, we've already seen convincing portrayals in BOK and HOF to acknowledge her striking talents. I'm just so happy that Gillian has gained enough confidence to project her voice now even with Sa next to her; I guess the solo performances have ignited Gillian in an encouraging way because Gillian has only began singing with confidence, relaxation, and volume ever since her stunning solo performances. I LOVE this performance!

Thats pretti late especially when you have to wait for the dvd to come out later which will be a few months later after the movie has finish being played in the cinema. This is my ultimate favorite picture of Gillian! I really think she looks gorgeous and beautiful beyond words and of course, with really straight hair. Gillian looks great in anything with any haircut but I really really love this picture amongst the rest.

Have you guys read the recent news on Gillian?! Woohoo! Gillian is finally speaking up for herself! She said that she has spoken with her manager about filming kissing scenes because it's a major holdback for her to film romance movies, which is the type of movie that Gillian is really hoping to do. I hope EEG does take some, if not all, of those restrictions off of her, if Gillian's in her luck. But I'm so proud of her for expressing herself!

Gillian seems to be on a roll this New Year! I'm also proud of Gillian for finally speaking up for herself on what she truly wants and intends to do. I mean, yeah...I understand that image is everything but EEG has gone crazy with the whole pure image and perhaps they may even be doing that on purpose just to hender Gillian from good roles because for crying out loud, kissing scenes are considered casual these days and really, how is a small peck on the lips going to ruin her reputation; it surely didn't ruin her partner Sa's cute image.

Well, the thing I'm still concerned about is: Gillian is publically and officially announcing her interest in tragic romantic films which I completely believe without a single doubt directors would love to invite her to join their cast as a lead since Gillian has been complimented all throughout the HK industry to be very pretty and her crying skills are excellent but a small barrier still remains and that is EEG. I just hope that EEG screws their lightbulb in correctly and finally permit Gillian to film in a romance genre. I mean, to think of it...Gillian has portrayed an array of characters already from psychotic/strange in Death Curse to a real horror flick like 49 Days except for a madly deeply passionate romance character.

I think the whole pure image thing is just an excuse for EEG to be holding Gillian back from all the opportunities that she could've had. If Gillian and Charlene are both being recognized as TWINS, why does kissing affect one of them and not the other? Kissing scenes are almost requirements nowadays; there are barely any movies out there where they don't throw in at least a peck, and I think HK people are reasonable enough to know that it's acting. If according to EEG, that kissing is going to absolutely ruin Gillian's image, then I suppose all those female artists out there are dead goners then? Look at Fiona Sit for example, she kissed Jaycee Fong in 2 Young, and it was her first movie. She's receiving more and more movie offers now. Having Charlene step above Gillian is so important to them that it doesn't matter if they would let Gillian broaden her horizon, she would get more movie offers, also equaling more profits then?

I agree with you; I hope EEG will finally wake up. They've let Charlene have a five year head start. Isn't that more than enough? It is so Gillian's turn now. I hope Gillian's wish of acting in a romance film will come true.

Don't worry, it's not that low of a budget; the news said that it was actually one of those high quality houses that they went to film at. I guess they look casual since they're supposed to be the owners of the house in the MV? I mean, you don't dress up in your own house very often. Ooo! That was my first reaction when I saw this too! It suits Strawberry Apple Orange so much! Gillian was actually cutting up an apple as well as having an orange during this scene while Charlene had the strawberries in Know First! So we do have all three fruits!

There's going to be some kind of plot to this MV, I think. At least we have a few different scenes already shown to us from the photos! I hope there's gonna be more though, some that they're keeping unrevealed until the MV actually comes out. At least they actually have a few different outfits in this instead of wearing the same thing through the whole thing. It's so nice to see KG working together again; they haven't been doing much together since that magazine cover from last summer, I think it was?

I know. What a beneficial method Gillian has shared. I guess Gillian constantly has stress and plus in the ET industry, you might have everything today (wealth, fame, friends, fans) but you may lose everything within a blink of an eye because there's just so much competition, harsh reporters who are out there to pull you down with rumors and gossip, so much frustration trying to please everyone, health issues, a family you never really get to see, friends who are only your friends because you're popular and rich...and the negative list just grows.

It's really tough for Gillian because she's had a rough background, has to compete for promotions against Sa, get's treated biasly, criticized as being fake/ bad smile, chubby, too short, can't act, can't sing etc...of course Gillian knows that she's not perfect but she is improving and giving the audience/fans the best that she has yet people are still so mean and cruel with their comments.

I guess, Gillian has been working so hard lately that finally when she has a chance to enjoy a fun environment with Kenny, she becomes very emotional. Gillian has lost a lot of precious people and things in her life so she can relate to the pain and tears so easily. She's excellent at crying...and can express her sorrow so well through her sincere facial expressions.

Back to the topic. I love Gillian bc I fell in love with her after the Monkey King. Although her acting wasn't good back then but her natural self capture my heart. She got this charm that is so irresistible. She was really cute and still is!! She's continuous improving in her acting /singing. A hard worker and quite mature for her age. Seem very responsible towards her family. Got one of the most beautiful singing voice....so sweet and soothing. Beautiful face features...lovely smile..sparkly eyes..I should really stop here since I can go on forever about how great Gillian is. hehe..Oh one more thing, she looks good with any cute guys and I can definitely see the chemistry between her and Ed, Kenny, Nic, Daniel..even Jimmy..etc.

Edison would be just as cute but eh...Edison has become too ghetto with his CLOT crew hanging over his shoulders 24/7 like that. I don't think Gillian would want to have a romantic dinner with a group of 10 people...haha! Edison~ He's still suits Gillian best but Kenny will do for the moment.
