About the issue on Charlene kissing Andy. I've never thought much about Charlene actions but lately, I felt that she's trying really hard to get attention. I felt so bad for Gillian bc Charlene had put her in such an akward position without any consideration of her feeling. Maybe Charlene is really the type to do things without thinking, I dunno. No offense, I used to like her but starting to have some doubts. Not sure if she's actually cute or acting cute anymore. Anyways, I've always been more supportive of Gillian and will continue to be!

There was just this one time of where Gillian and Yumiko went to hang out at night after work, and Mani got mad at Gillian after she found out. Gillian had to write a thousand word essay to Mani to apologize, then Mani thought that she did have the heart to ask for forgiveness, so she accepted her apology. I think that's absolutely ridiculous! Gillian and Yumiko are really good of friends! They knew each other before they came into the showbiz, and they were even roommates back then in the EEG domintory! Both of them have lives after work! Being a singer is just a career like any other job!



I've recently noticed that Charlene likes getting the attention too. Like at the JSG Awards Ceremony, Eric Tsang asked Ronald Cheng if he'd like to thank any other singer behind him when he got the Best Song Of The Year, the camera shot on Charlene as Ronald turned back to bow at all the other singers behind him, and Charlene pounced and started hiding behind Gillian. What the heck was up with that? I thought she denied the rumours with Ronald? So doesn't that hiding around make it seem all fishy and of course, causes the media to go on about it? It seemed like Gillian was surprised too; she was kinda glancing at what Charlene was doing, and as the camera had its focus there, she could only give a smile and wave to the camera to break off the awkward moment.


It could that at first when Twins formed, EEG/Mani didn't have these restrictions on Gillian. Yet later on, they realized that Gillian's popularity is racing ahead of Charlene's despite the promotion biases, so they've had to come up with a lame excuse to plant restrictions on Gillian, so she can't go any further with her movie roles; therefore, not enough exposure on the theatre screen. The kissing factor, it's obviously not Gillian's idea not to kiss, but EEG's. I hate it when some people say it's because Gillian doesn't want to kiss. She's an actress; she would do it if the director requested her to and if her company didn't stand in her way. It's not like Gillian's never kissed anyone in her life. Gillian even said in a new article; she's 25 years old already, and should be allowed to kiss in movies. I've also noticed that Gillian is rarely in any of the movies where almost all the EEG artists are in. She wasn't in New Police Story nor A Chinese Tall Story; they don't have to be that mean to her. They've left her completely out of it. I could see how Joey's not in it, since she doesn't base her career on movies, but rather on singing; Twins, on the other hand, base it on both. A Chinese Tall Story wasn't very good though; many people went in seeing the movie was because of the prequels by Stephen Chow, but they've found that they were ripped off after seeing it because they were just being fed a bunch of unnecessary computer graphics and effects.

Good news! Conscience Discovery by KG has recently been plugged on the radio! So it now offically has the chance to compete on the song charts!! Woohoo!

Charlene fans are always more outspoken than Gillian fans at the chinese forums. Most Gillian fans just withhold their disagreements because they usually don't want to start stuff up. Charlene fans don't really care that much about what the consequences are, and they fuss over anything that Gillian does without Charlene. Gillian fans rarely fuss over things about Charlene. Perhaps if they do, they'll just get stampeded over by Charlene fans unless they all team up and win over with quantity. That's another factor to why Charlene seems more popular, her fans, being like her, blabs whatever they can think of, regardless of what it could lead to, whereas Gillian fans, being like her as well, think twice before they say stuff and is considerate on what's gonna happen afterwards. See how an idol can influence a fan?

Well, I think that Gillian Fans should learn how to be more assertive because being courteous and nice to loud at times inconsiderate Sa fans won't do Gillian any good. I rather stir things up a bit with debates rather than get taken advantage of and stepped all over on. I mean, Gillian Fans are called "Gillian Fans" for some reason right?? Then shouldn't they be able to defend the meaning of their name and their admired individual, Gillian?? What use does it make to be a Gillian Fan or even a Twins fan (Twins, since those fans claim to be neutral so both Twins have to be treated fairly.) if those fans aren't even willing to discuss or address the unfair issues Gillian is enduring? Then what are fans for if they're going to silently watch Gillian get chewed!!!!

There are several ways of mentioning sensitive things without creating a negative feedback but my impression is: Gillian Fans aren't serious enough or they are diluted by Sa Fans' influences. Man, if I only resided in HK or knew how to write Chinese better.

I think the kiss was totally unnecessary and weird. Can't believe some fans thought it looked "cute".
I usually have nothing against Charlene, but as Nikki said, this time she had really put Gillian in an akward position...I mean what should Gillian say when Andy asked her if she wanted one too. She couldn't have said no, could she? And neither yes, as she isn't even allowed to kiss for a movie...not to talk about in public.


I agree, some Gillian fans don't seem to know about those restrictions she has...as Cathy W mentioned some even think Gillian herself doesn't want to kiss anyone on-screen, because she's shy and reserved etc.
But I think many Twins fans already knew about the biasness along time ago, but they just didn't/doesn't seem to care much about it. In fact it's seems like it's okay for them as long as Gillian and Charlene stays as a group...eg. when someone pointed out how Charlene has more lines than Gillian in 'Starlight amusement park'...I don't really remember exactly what they said...but I remember they didn't think it was a big deal or something. Plus when somebody was complaining how Charlene has more movies than Gillian and gets more promotions...a Charlene fan countered back and said that Gillian are on more magazine covers and stuffs...and that it equals out. That is just bs. Who was it that appeared in every magazine during october-december!?

I already registered with several Twins Forums but can't post until an hour later so now I'm just gathering my thoughts so when I actually do post my two cents about every issue regarding Gillian in simple terms, it'll turn out decent and hopefully don't offend any Sa Fans. Wonder how it's going to end up like because I was just surfing through these forums and no one seems to mind about these bias issues at all! But no matter what whether my post/thread gets deleted and I get banned or bashed, I don't care....I have to carry my points across somehow and at least I tried. I'm just trying to raise an awarness that Gillian isn't being treated fairly quite badly actually...that's all.

That is selfish. Watching Gillian endure unfair treatment just so Twins can remain as Twins then why even call them Twins or form that duo if one is being taken advantage of (Gillian) while the other one seems to glow with glee (Sa). Now I'm beginning to really doubt the so called relationship Gillian and Sa share. I'm pretty sure Sa knows better than we do what really goes on behind cameras but yet Sa acts so indifferent. How can Sa still hug, kiss, and smile at Gillian when she knows that in a way she is contributing to the bias treatment? How? Sa isn't doing anything to prevent such wrong doings towards Gillian but instead continues to accept the promotions leaving Gillian behind. And yet...Gillian still defends Sa whenever she can! I bet Gillian wouldn't let this happen to Sa or would at least intervene somehow. And if Sa was the one being treated poorly, I even though being a Gillian Supporter would not support the bias treatment BUT would defend Sa regardless of who I favor more. It's not really about who we adore more out of the two now, it's more of what's right and wrong!

That's probably another reason as to why the HK industry has hit rock bottom because they're obviously promoting and supporting for the worst reasons!! My opinion, the Korean Wave has hit Asia so hard and Why?? Because Korean Fans support their idols 100% by gathering every international fanclub to distribute albums. Korean fans defend every negative bias issue their idol comes across. I'm not stating that Korean Fans are better, NO! All I'm trying to say is: their support is so much more serious and passionate than HK Fans these days. I mean, if my posts in other forums get deleted because I'm stating the truth Twins fans don't want to admit then that just shows how ignorant these fans are. The truth is too evident that it can no longer be avoided! Why still push Twins together when one is obviously not happy being chewed out all the time??!!

Why Charlene?!? And you were beginning to really grow on me. This incident with Andy Lau has really made me think that she is just out to get publicity and attention. She MUST have known it would cause media news. Totally embarrassed Gillian and put her in the most awkward position. She might have thought it was funny, but it wasn't. Being in All About Love together is not an excuse to be kissing him in public like that. She can just do whatever she feels like and no one cares. Whereas Gillian has boundaries that EEG have drawn that she is not allowed to cross.

I was beginning to like Sa too after watching A Chinese Tall Story (even though the film was stupid but her character was cute) but this incident really drew the line. Sa is not dumb; she has been in the ET industry for a while now, knows the clean image Twins' must abide by, and definitely knows that kissing Andy would gain attention! Sa always uses her fake cute and bubbly personality to make headlines by making it seem as if that kiss and several of her previous actions were cute jokes but instead they're all for attention. I guess, Sa couldn't stand Gillian being in the spotlight so decided to commit such a stunt to stir up news especially with Andy, someone who is also famous, since Gillian has been featured in quite a few news articles and interviews!

I extremely feel sorry for Gillian. Her face immediately turned colorless, ran out of blood...she was so shocked and yes, quite embarrassed.

Charlene is seeking for attention. Could she actually be jealous of Gillian? Since Gillian's popularity is starting to become obvious now? Everyone of EEG probably knows that Gillian's popularity > Charlene's popularity, but Charlene probably didn't mind before because she looked more popular appearance-wise by the help of EEG, now the situation is getting obvious.

Charlene is so not considerate of Gillian. She knows that Gillian can't kiss anyone, but she dives right onto Andy's lips in public! Okay. I actually wrote a long letter to EEG this time. I've never been so upsetting about Twin's news but I felt that Charlene had gone too far. How could she embrassed Gillian like that? I don't even care if Charlene's fan coming after me anymore. Whatever. It's not like I meant to bash her, I am just stating a fact!! About that Alexa girl. She claimed to love 'Gillian to bits' but yet whenever it comes to Charlene, she would not spare a moment to put down Gillian imo. There isn't anything much on that kiss with Andy and Charlene. No one, or at least there is no news report, complaining about it. She made a lot of headlines if that's what you mean. Everyone of them were made with "Charlene kissing Andy" or something along those lines. It was basically reported like it was actually NORMAL, which is so not right in any way. Charlene actually did it by surprise too by the looks of things; I don't think either of Andy or Gillian expected that she actually meant it. What's up with "missing his cheeks so catching his lips instead"? That's so dumb.

Haha, Andy said that he WILL find some chance to kiss Gillian somehow! I hope he invites Gillian to be a female lead in one of his movies, then maybe Gillian can have the chance to sense how nice it is to be promoted by the cast of the movie, just like someone who always had.

I went to the Twins Community Forum, EG orbital and I felt alittle disapointed that majority of the fans do not see anything wrong with it. There was this topic in EG orbital about EEG treating Charlene better but most of them said only slightly and it's not that bad. This is why EEG keeps doing it to Gillian bc majority of the fans do not see the problem!

If anyone is going to start a topic about this biasness issue on the Chinese Twins websites. I can help out a bit. I have an account on Twinsfans.net so if you guys go there to talk about it. Ill back you guys up 100%, but it might take a while since Ill have to try to translate what Im gonna say into chinese.

And as the discussion goes on, and more people are starting to back Gillian up, someone butts in and says how the whole thing is stupid and that it'll only lead to comparison. (Obviously she wants the mods to lock the thread. ) I've noticed everytime there are any disagreements between Char and Gill fans...like the one about Gillian being more popular in the future...it always end with some mod locking the thread. I think it's one of the reasons to why Gillian fans doesn't voice out their opinions, as they're afraid that they'll only stir things up and upset the Sa fans, and being accused of starting the whole comparison thing.

I just saw the clip at TC and Charlene just ran to kiss him and started to scream. Then Andy was like this "AH Gil, your turn" and I couldn't really hear her. But I think she said "I have to keep my image" and started to laugh. Then Andy said "But I saw you kiss Stephen Fung" and Gillian laughed and said "Only the cheeks" and he mocked her.. "Only on the cheeks"

But I say it's still wrong. Now we could clear some stuff

Gosh, I'm so mad at some of these fans. I kind of understand why no one is doing much about the bias issue too. It's because the Gillian fans don't see it or they do but just don't want to stir up things because look at the TC thread on the kissing inccident, all the "Twins" fans and even some Gillian fans are thinking we are making a small problem really big. I mean how can we expect to say anything when the majority usually sides with the Charlene fan so there won't be any disagreements between the Gillian and Charlene fans. I'm totally disappointed in some of them...that's just sad.

Feel so bad for Gillian, Gillian may have more fans but a lot of the fans aren't really dedicated or just too scare to object because they know they won't be able to object against all the Charlene fans and they think no one will back them up.

Though this event was angering, let's not get too mad over ourselves. There's something happy coming up, because guess what?! EEG is finally doing something in Gillian's favour!!! The Missing Piece is going to come out with its third version!!

I'm glad that they are finally doing something for Gillian. BUT. A THIRD VERSION!? I got mad after they decided to release a second version with something extra and now they have a THIRD VERSION!! It's got all those KTV's as well!! *cries* I'll probably buy it the next time I go HK or something. Hopefully they'll release the KTV's on a separate karaoke disc. Being a fan of an EEG artist is so expensive *sigh*

There was a promotion event for 49 days today! (The ONLY one before the screening of the movie) I'm glad to read that quite a lot of Gillian fans were there to support her. The premiere is tomorrow and then the movie is released on Thursday in HK (Friday in Taiwan!).

And as for the clip of the show...this is all I have to say:

Just watched the clip...uh, the pictures provided of Gillian's embarassed and surprised reaction is much clearer than the clip downloaded. The clip doesn't even show Gillian's initial reaction. It was already so many seconds later the kiss, Sa screaming, Andy shifting his head back and forth, and then the question addressed to Gillian but even then, the camera angle was so far and didn't zoom in on the screen...we couldn't even see Gillian's reaction at and after the kiss. Of course, everything came off as a joke because that's the best way to eliminate all questions.

omg a third verison??? i planned out all my CNY money to buy their album and now a third verison. so should i get Kenny album for the MV since this have it??? i dont want to waste money..... and their mando album im gonna get and i have to get 3 present for my fwend... come on i dont have much $$$ on me.... grr!!!

Wow...Can't believe a third verison of "The Missing Piece" Such a ripe off but I'm glad they finally are doing something for Gillian!! I think the only reason they actually put the duet MV on the album is because they know it will attract fans to buy it since the song + MV is getting popular! If it wasn't doing that well, they would totally disregard the idea of even putting it in...

We just had a big snow storm here so i wasn't home the last two days. Now i come back and see all this talk about Sa kissing Andy. I just saw the clip as well and it makes me mad. Ah Sa knows that gillian can't kiss anybody and yet she goes and kiss Andy publicly knowing that it would put gillian in an awkward position. Aren't they supposed to be friends? Anyways i'll back u guys up 100% in other forums. I think we should decide which forums to discuss this issue along with other bias issues on, so we can all support gillian and let everyone know that gillian fans aren't just gonna sit here and not do or say anything about these outrages.

i really love it how Gillian's supporters are very reasonable and has a point in everything! Not rude or jumping to conclusion! im sure if Gillian knows about this she would be proud to have supporters like you guys.

The bit about Charlene aiming for the cheek but missed and got the lips instead I mean come on thats pretty hard to beliee im pretti sure she was tryin to aim for the lips for sure. I just hope Andy keeps his word about tryin to say to kiss Gillian so she can finally have her forst onscreen kiss then EEG has no reason to stop her from acting in kissing scenes again.

Im glad EEG is doin sumthin good for Gillian but a 3rd version They are alwais tempting people to buy the same thing with just a lil extra. And I'm so proud how Stephen even questioned if the kissing scene was removed due to EEG. I was thinking about writing or contacting some big names to help Gillian sort out some issues. Hm, anyone know a good website of some sort of Stephen because it seems like he surely supports Gillian.

Gillian's ex-boyfriend was a complete jerk! Wonder how he feels towards Gillian now huh?? A million jackets and 1000 acres of red roses won't ever mend back the broken feelings!!! Perhaps the guy was too cool to show a soft side of caring for someone.

Oh well, Sa fans are functioning at a whole different level that's why it's sort of pointless to debate because they keep on clinging onto this mentality that Gillian Fans are jealous of Sa for stealing the spot light?? Uh, HELLO? There was no spotlight? Why? Because both Twins that day shined their different ways. Gillian didn't need to run desperately for a kiss to gain attention. Her simple answer to Andy already showed how professional she was about the awkward situation.

Seriously, did Sa really need to express that irritable yell after kissing Andy??

Anyways, at least we stirred things up a bit showing our support for Gillian.

Yep, the news about the third version made my day. But then EEG is practically ripping people who bought the first/second version off, especially the first version. We should've guessed that EEG could be nicer, but not THAT nice to put Kenny and Gillian together for Valentine's Day. There's still a day until Valentine's Day, so there's still hope; perhaps KG will get together on the official date? Then again, Gillian isn't exactly fond of Valentine's Day........

I think Stephen is really supportive of Gillian too! They've co-starred twice. I was watching the behind the scenes of House Of Fury; Gillian slipped and fell on her hip, so Stephen was like, "I massage it for you!" Gillan then laughed and said, "No! It'll lead to rumours; you wouldn't want that!" I figure that Stephen's another person that Gillian feels free to joke with.

We Gillian Supporters do need to find another way to help Gillian. Debating Charlene fans won't help because many of them of simply unreasonable. The other thing is the people we should be convincing aren't Charlene fans, but the audience. Wonder who we could reflect our comments and suggestions to? I hope Andy does get Gillian to star in a movie!!

I guess debating with them is like talking to a piece of wood since we think at different levels...What they say can't get through us and what we say won't lit a light bulb for them...but it just gets me annoyed by their response. They are like talking on a different topic or something everytime they response....

I'm glad Stephen is so supportive of Gillian!! He might make her the main lead in more of his movies...When he asked if the kiss was cut out from the movie because of EEG, he seems to be hinting something...I'm just hoping Stephen will continue to support and ask Gillian to do more movies.
