Yeah! Very intense And very emotional kissing scenes too. I like the way Mike kisses, and if he's really guiding Rainie along, it fits into the storyline, wouldn't it? Like, Meng leading Xiao Yue on.. well, you know, heh.

Kinda like thinking of it as Meng keeping his promise to make Yue happy during the Christmas season or something.. remember their first Christmas? Meng said something about "and this is my promise for this season".. or something That he'll be back every Christmas for Yue.. and their feelings grow stronger each year until Meng decides to stay for good and marry her or something Imagination is soo overworked. Heh! Now know why I thought it had the sort of ending that leads on to a sequel? Haha.. they could make one about Meng's adventures in Italy. Or that Yue is going somewhere else. Or something.

Then again, my no-sequels policy probably won't let me watch any sequel of DBY, if there be any. I'll be the one devastated if Yue and Meng have to go through obstacles again! So best if we keep things this way. *nod nod*

i love all the kissing scenes too but my favorites are (1) in episode 14, the morning after the bed scene , (2) in episode 8, when they kissed inside qi yue's room, who could forget the devil's wink right before he shuts the door on qi yue? , (3) in episode 3, after ah meng was forcing qi yue to laugh in front of him and (4) the kiss at the beach.

yah...he's got the kissing gift. I like rainie's description. lol. like i said in my blog, mike really does know how to kiss, it's like rainie was instructed by the director to just open her mouth and close her eyes, mike will do the rest. oops. lol.

But I do wanna write a fic on MR.. I thought someone in this thread (or some other thread) mentioned something about writing fics on MR! I remember reading someone's synopsis about a plot that goes like this: Rainie has a fiancee. But she loses her memory one day and meets up with Mike. They fall in love, but Rainie leaves (after regaining her memory?) him. He pursues her, only to find out that her fiancee is actually his longlost relative? .. Or something ler! I thought that plot had potential.. since the element of suspence is already there! Like, Who will Rainie choose in the end? Yep! Very promising plot. ^___^

Someone mentioned about Mike being gay and fell in love with Rainie, a straight girl instead. Actually had a plot revolving that already, but it'll involved the characters of DBY, not the actual actors themselves, since I do want to use their characters personality. ^___^ But yalor.. see first lah.. am lousy in writing '

Yeah i agreed too cos i find out that everyone dont know when actually ah mong started to love qi yue. It is based on his father's word or actually before he know that qi yue will be his sis he already started loving her. HappY New Year everyone !!

Mike He was one of the hosts at the The TVBS New Year Countdown at Kaoshiong on 31 Dec 2005. At the opening of the show, Mike was wearing a white and blue sailor outfit and he did several dance moves (He said that he practised the dance for 2 days). He looked awesome!! The other hosts all called him Xiao Mei. He had several outfit changes for the night.

During the promo on tv for this TVBS New Year Countdown, Rainie was mentioned as one of the guest singer for the night but wondered why she didn't turn up. I was like "Why? What happened?" cos I was hoping to see Mike and Rainie on the stage together or something like that. sniff sniff, the show started at 6.30pm and ended at almost 2am but no sign of Rainie.

Mike's New Year's resolutions are to make more dramas and hope he will not have too much 'fan nau' - worries for 2006. Its not a quote but only from what i remembered (cos i tend to forget stuff easily, also not sure if its fan nau). Man, he must have alot of 'fan nau' this year to mention this on stage to so many people, I think there were like 150,000 ppl at the show. Poor thing. I hope that his worries or whatever's bugging him are all gone and he'll be happy. cos i have a feeling that he was relating his worries to the rumours or whatever the press made up. He also wished that everyone will be happy and healthy for the new year.

On his birthday, several days ago, he joined a basketball game for charity which also includes Xiao Chu-Show, Ah Sen-the teacher in DBY whom Yue had a crush on when she was younger, and other taiwanese male actors. Mike wore a red jersey no:39 and a black headscarf (dont know what u called it ). He's a great player and scored for his team (just like in DBY)

Besides that, I watch an interview session of Rainie on Phoenix channel in December 2005. When asked about what she'd do if she wasn't in the entertainment industry, she replied that she'll be a nursery/kindergarden teacher. Wow similar to Mike!! cos I read that Mike said that he'd be a Physical education teacher. Rainie also said that she loves making children happy so that they will have a happy childhood. She ever worked with little kids before on several shows and she really enjoyed it. Who could have imagined that these 2 would choose to become teachers eh. Also Rainie was surprised to see her hairstyle becoming the latest fashion where loads of young girls are sporting her hair do.

The show was on 31 Dec 2005 cos it was a countdown to 1 Jan 2006. It was great to be able to see Mike but so sad that Rainie couldnt make it. The other host with him in the picture is Lan Xing Mei of TVBS.

This is kinda random but does anyone notice that there's alot of items being recycled in rainie's advertisements and guest appearances. I mean like the single long earring she wore in ideal lover is in the previous clarins ads and also the white boots she wore were from dby. Also, some of her outfits from her mv's and ads are being worn for her appearances?? Sorry, I'm not from Asia, is this the norm? Anyways, I still like mike and rainie...

Though i have only watch a couple of episode from DBY, i think that Rainie and Mike make a very cute couple.

I think it's probably because tw artists don't like wasting, and prefer recycling what they wear...the earring u are talking about is probably Rainie's own, so of course she would want to continue wearing it. And sometimes the clothes she wears to special functions which have already been worn in mvs and such might be due to that the function is related. Like for example, I see Rainie wearing that white dress and boots to alot of the promotional appearances for her album, and that was the style for her album, so she wears that dress and boots to all the promotional functions of her album I've seen some other tw artists recycle what they wear, not just rainie, it's perfectly normal
While in comparison, HK artists prefer to wear new clothes every time...it's kinda like wasting clothes to me I mean, if the clothes u wear are still wearable, then why don't u just keep on wearing it? Why would u want to wear a piece of clothing just once? Although there are some hk artists who do recycle their clothing, which is good news
