moses chan wasnt that bad in that series, ron ng on the other hand should definately stay out............i think joe ma should stay out

i would have to disagree about moses... moses looks better in ancient series and even he said he likes doin ancient series...

i think joe ma, sunny chan, michael tao, and maybe even kevin cheng should only stick wid modern series...

yea i dont mind moses or bosco in ancient series but yea ron should, joe ma should bernice liu should, leila and nancy wu thats all i can think of right now

most of them got the modern look tat make them not suitable for ancient drama series. joe ma still can go for the ancient drama.

ron ng should stay in modern series.....ancient is not for him, and same for sammul chan

The guy who played in healing hands... that neurology doc.. =X.. He also played in tvb's latest yi tian to long. That one was really sucky lol.

Moses ancient look is great in WAB.

Ron Ng and Moses Chan should stick with modern series....They dont look good in old time series. Moses looks good in a king's outfit, but that is it.....

I remember that people said Chow Yun Fat's look was too modern to play ancient roles..

That's Lawrence Ng.. he sucked in that role because the character is supposed to be young and kinda naive.. Lawrence is very good in evil ancient roles.. that he played earlier in his career..

but I like bosco in ancient, he was great in Wong Fei Hung and War of In-laws.

Bowie & flora should stick to modern series.. As well as Cerina & Bernice... well, because they have the American accent in their cantonese

i find bosco better in ancient series than modern. also ron ng cant act ancient, no offense to all his fans. Raymond isnt to bad in ancient, also i think it would depend on the type of character/role the actor/actress is playing.

for me, it would be Joe Ma and Lawrence Ng (who's acting i found boring recently).

joe ma, bowie, lawrence ng and etc should stick with modern series cause they don't look nice in ancient

Ron obviously, he looked too 'modern', just felt that he got the 21 century look n' not suited to ancient drama

Ron really need to stick with modern movie...i think goes to many new actor such as Bosco, LaM Fong and so on.....the young actor.........for To Dai Yu...i think he cant act for ancient movie.....lol

Ron Ng, Sammuel Chan, Bosco, i think its mostly the guys because da gurls all look pretty in ancient clothing...

actors like ron ng, joe ma, Sammuel Chan, franklin lam, and louis ko. most of the actresses in hk are pretty in ancient movies, but jessica hsuan looks much better in modern series.

Moses isnt that bad in ancient clothing the others I would think they would be better off in Modern.

Ya I agree about Bosco, initially I didn't think he will look good in ancient movie, but he looks very cute in war of the in-laws. Thumbs up for him...

ron ng, joe ma, micheal tao, sammul chan, kevin cheng, benny chan... they look kinda weird in ancient costume... in fact, i dont remember micheal tao in any ancient shows before

actually i think gallen did pretty well in ancient series... condor heroes back in 94 or 95 was pretty good and he was the kinda villain in it... roger kwok i think does okay too.. he was in happily ever after and worlds finest and i think he did okay...

I think for me, my pick would be Gallen Lo and Lawrence Ng (saw him in Heaven Sword Dragon Sabre 2000). Both of them don't look as good as they did in modern series. Or perhaps it could be due to the fact that they appear in modern series more often.

Tavia Yeung,Nancy Wu, Kevin Cheng, Moses Chan, Flora chan, Bowie Lam,Melissa Ng,Bernice Liu should stay AWAY from anciet series and Jessica Hsuan also. I think they has more ubran up to date look.


Some people should just stay in ancient forever like the annoying ,ugly,can't act ones like Shirely Yeung, Linda Chung, Joe Ma, Kenneth Ma, Mandy Cho, Selena Li, Annie Man, Ester Kwan, Maggie Cheung.

I guess it depends on the series they're making ... Like Bosco he did Wong fei hung and War of in laws... and I find him alright for ancient time series... He still looks okay when he shaves his head.. so... I think when you're used to seen them in ancient series.. they're okay.

i fink ron and lawrence they don't reli match. Most girls can pull of the ancient look but to show it some do quite badly like mandy cho.

Michael Tao use to play a bunch of Kelefe roles in ancient series back in the days. I still have images of im in ancient costumes but dont remember exactly what series since he plays such minor roles.

I agree with some of you. Ron should definitely stick to modern series. It's kinda weird seeing him in "goo jong". I like Bosco better in the ancient series especially in "Wars of In Laws". He was hilarious. I don't really like Sammul in ancient series either. I'm looking forward to seeing Bosco in more ancient series. I think the look matches him.

Moses Chan is okay in ancient series in my opinion. His roles in Perish In the Name Of Love and Where The Legend Begins were pretty good. On the other hand, Ron should definitely stick to modern series. Not only does he look weird, he doesn't seem to fit in the ancient picture.

I think Ron Ng and Samuel Chan should have stick to modern series... They are more suitable for modern series rather than ancient series...
