I don't buy CDs that are OST usually because I will get sick of listening to it during the show. But I can't help but buy IT STARTED WITH A KISS OST and MVP VALENTINE. They contain the best tracks ever! Not to mention the songs in ISWAK is so nice to sing during karoke time! Oh, and Devil Beside You has catchy tunes too!

The best soundtrack would have to be the Tree of Heaven. The songs from this drama were badass.

I haven't seen many of the series that people mentioned had good OSTs so I'll give it a try. Personally, I like Chinese Paladin and ROCH 2006 OST possibly because it sounds so ... wuxia-ish!

ermm b4 this my 19 years old sister in law and wonderful life ost were on my top list in my mp3...
then 100% senorita was in my top list
and now the prince who turns into frog n the magician of love ost were on my top list in my mp3...
i think all the songs in wzbqw were great n i really love song by vj-->Bu Gou Yong Gan n call my name by 183 club&7F....i listen to their songs every day...
ermm i also like song by 183club&7F--->hao ai ta hao xiang ta n i've seen the mv which is the 2nd ending of wzbqw...i will cry a lot everytime i see the mv ...the mv was sooo sad....
btw...can anyone tell me where i can dw song magic room by 183club because i've go to baidu but i can't dw that song...thanx....

Devil Beside You- All of Rainie Yang's songs are great! Ai Mei and Li Xiang Qing Ren in particular
Reaching for the Stars- Xing Guang is one of my favorite S.H.E songs!

Korean

Full House- One of my favorite OSTs EVER. The song by Why is really good and so is Byul's I think I. Both songs are very pretty and fit in with the drama
Save the Last Dance for Me- "Give My Love" by Edward Chun is a VERY good song, both the english and korean version. The song "My Dream" by Eugene is also good too.

Japanese
NANA- The songs by Mika Nakashima and Yuna Ito are AWESOME! I LOVE both Glamorous Sky and Endless Story. the B-sides to those singles were also very good like Yuna Ito's "Journey".

Mars have the best ost ever. I love all the songs in Mars.

I LOVE WANG ZI BIAN QING WA/PRINCE TURN INTO FROG OST!!! i would strongly recommend zhen ai, bi shang yan mo nian san bian/call my name and hao ai ta hao xiang ta!!! although hao ai ta hao xiang ta is not in the ost... but it is a song tat is in wang zi bian qing wa...SO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! -words in blue is the english name- and 1 last ting... WANG ZI BIAN QING WA 4EVA!!!

I'm a big fan of any soundtrack of any Squaresoft game Most of the instrumentals are relaxing

Wei Xiao Pasta definitely has a very good soundtrack - with Cyndi Wang and Nicholas Teo, how could it not?

I also greatly enjoy the Initial D movie soundtrack - that and Disney's Aladdin are the only two soundtracks I actually bought, because I just liked them that much.

Gundam SEED also has a solid soundtrack.

Meteor garden's and full house's 'geh de ji geum', 'i think i' and 'oon myung'..

How many people here love to listen to soundtracks? I've been on a few boards now and it seems only a handful of people actually enjoy listening to movie soundtracks! I know my favorite movie soundtracks are mostly by James Horner and John Williams, although there are quite a few good composers out there! Here are a few of my favorite soundtracks:

Most Powerful (Western Film) Soundtracks:

Without a doubt the eminent theme that is played in the Shawshank Redemption. (during the main scene/ not to spoilt if you haven't seen it- and you should as it always top 3 films on imdb) Otherwise Blood Diamond has a very emotionally strong soundtrack too.
