Hmmm...I have never heard of this. I"m constantly looking for new dramas that Arial Lin is starring in and this looks very interesting because it's so out of character. I'm so used to watching Taiwanese actors making modern films and series and seeing them dressed up like this. IT is PRICELESS! And ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE.

It should be interesting to see Ariel in traditional costume.. If I'm not mistaken this should be her first time playing in an ancient Chinese drama, right? I might be having a hard time getting used to it.. but i definitely won't miss it for the world. I'm the biggest fan of her work!

As for HuGe, I watched a couple of early episodes of Chinese Paladin. I have to say that his acting is really good.. but I just don't really like his character there, so I never finished watching it.. But i'm definitely gonna give him a second chance with this drama.. I hope he and Ariel will have a good chemistry

What particular things you don't like about Hu Ge character in Chinese Paladin. I haven't watch the serie yet so I'm just curious on why is his character unlikable.

arg....they all look so ugly! i think they need new makeup and costume designers...these actors and actresses are soo much better looking than that! this is so upsetting!

I don't want to be off-topic and talk about about HuGe's character in Chinese Paladin in this thread. But for your information, I think his character there is just too playful, and his dumbness is a lil bit exaggerated no offense, for those who loooove his character there, it's just my simple-minded opinion

But I got a feeling that his character in this new series won't be much different... looking from his silly bang haircut.. ... we'll see how it goes though.

Wow, Ariel is just showing up everywhere! Which is not a bad thing, since she's one of my favorite actresses...Anyway, I keep hearing everyone commenting on how bad or funny Ariel looks in the ancient clothes, but we should just all wait and see the series. Maybe, we're just not use to seeing her in such outfits b/c she's always been in modern series wearing modern clothes. I don't think she looks THAT bad and I'm sure once the show airs we'll get use to her in the costumes.

Is Ariel the main lead actress? Gosh, Michelle Saram...bad experienced with her in Meteor Garedn 2, but then again MG2 was a bad experience altogether.

yes, i think this is ariel's first ancient drama series. i think she's a good actress and will do a good job.

she looks a bit funny in the first photo wearing the white outfit. but she looks cute in all the subsequent photos. especially the one wearing the hat/cap. very cute.

Looking at the pix of the cast in costume jis cracks mi up spesh wid Tae, he looks like he's pissing himself I agree that Ariel should jis stick wid modern series, she looks waaayyyy better in modern. Hu Ge's hairstlye looks like how he had it in Chinese Paladin but this is like an uglier version....makes him look bad
Jis a qn, has Hu Ge filmed a modern series b4? ive only seen him in ancient series......maybe because he does look good in modern so prefer costume series.
