i just finsihed watching the cantonese one and in what i saw it seems like this is different from the original verison because some of the things you guys discuss it doesnt seem like it happen.. cuz someone mention that XQ and DG meet again? but i don't think i saw that part.. becasue the cantonese one justed ended went it show flashback of XQ and DG?

so is there more in the mandarin one? so the cantonese cut alot of part out? thanks

well i watched the mandarin version and after the flashbacks, there was an extra scene (which they probably didn't show in the cantonese version since you guys haven't seen it) and its 1000 years later in mondern times, in Shanghai and Hu Ge is walking on the streets listening to his ipod and then he passes Ariel and suddenly he's got like this intuition that he knows her from somewhere and then he tries to find her and when they see each other they have a connection and they smile at each other, even though they have no idea who the other is, they feel as if they know each other from somewhere.
so, 1000 years later xiao 7 and di gua still meet, through their reincarnations. so sweet ^^

hehe, I've seen the modern scenes before watching TWFX, but I never knew where it was from!!! xD Awwww, it was tooooo darn CUTE but also very random because you didn't think the series would end in the modern era because nothing really lead up to it!! ><; BUT, I WISH that the producers would have elaborated on the modern day toooo!!! I mean, it just stops right when they see each other again---I mean, what happens next?? @____@ I want to see more of HU GE & ARIEL! xD

I just started watching the series two days ago and I got EXTREMELY HOOKED on it!!! I can't believe that I didn't want to watch it during the summer!! But after finishing watching “Chinese Paladin” I wanted to see more of Hu Ge, so I started watching this!! It’s so freakin HILARIOUS, that I laugh my butt off and it’s very AWESOME!!!! Awww, I really really wish there was a person like DG in real life because he's so sweet and dedicated!!

Right now I'm only on eps 17, but I really couldn't resist NOT watching the ending, so I watched it!! And now I can't wait to see what's in between!! ^___^ haha, I'm OFFICALLY in LOVE with TWFX!!! =D

i know a lot of ppl love the series but it just wasn't my cup of tea. i found it pretty boring and draggy so i skipped most of it. i was up to episode 16 and then i just watched the last two episodes. but i do think that ariel is very cute as xiao qi and she and hu ge are very suited to their characters.

I really like this series but I find the Haoqi part quite annoying.. I don't feel much for his chara or his love interest.. they took too much parts of the series when I only wanna see Xiao Qi/Di Qua or Yong Bao/that girl couple... they were more lively to watch than Hao Qi's [I skip most of his parts anyway]

My cousins bought the VCDs and invited me to watch it. Immediately, I fell in love with this series. Now, I want to make some music videos out of it, can anyone direct me to some download links? This is kind of off topic, but I read in spcnet.tv that Xiao Qi's role was actually meant for Ady? But, since she was busy filming another series she has to turned it down and Ariel got the role. GOSH! THey (Hu Ge and Ady) missed the chance to shoot TWFX together! Oh wel, I am still praying for them to collaborate once again! Now, I love Hu Ge and Ariel together, they were really really cute in TWFX, but I lean toward Hu Ge and Ady more. I am a Ariel fan too! She's such a great actress! if you enjoy stories that are touching, has very funni bits and very sad bits, then buy it. it is definately a good series to watch =D i enjoyed it immensely... it was definately recommended... so many of my friends love it as well!!

it does have the cute bits and the sweet bits you want... some are soo cute dat you just wanna so 'awwww'.... but there are sad bits too!!! so you will need some tissues =D

most ppl will love this series, because, well, it is a great series, it teaches ppl to be true to themselves and how sacrifices do happen and love and stuff...
it is sweeeet =D it is realli nice ^^ although some bits are boring, everyhting els eis so good dat it is still a good show...

i particularly like the shows' OST... it has some damn nice songs =D

like any other series there're some parts were boring, but di gua n xiao qi's parts never make me feel bored, only other parts with no di gua - xiao qi ;P
overall, this series is great, also some moral educations we can learn from it

Sighs... They'rte showing the show on Singapore Channel U right at the moment but the funny thing is that if i'm not mistaken, they cut out alot of parts... Sometimes, i don't get the show cos' there are scenes that are missing! Isn't it weird, like the part where after Huge finds out that Ariel is a female, and then, the part where Ariel was crying under the tree, asking the queen mother to let her go back, that particular scene wasn't shown on TV. So weird! *shrugs shoulder* I wonder why. Is it me or are those scenes really cut out?

tis show is great. finish watching it in 2 days. haha.can't stop watching. but i dislike the dubbing. it juz sounds wierd. n there r a few question marks in the story.its juz seems like everything endded suddenly w/o detailed explaination of wat happened. but well..over all it was great ^^

at first the dubbed voice kinda got to me and irritated me a little. but after awhile listening to it. u would get used to it and wun feel that way already..

I finally purchased this series on DVD and watched up to episode 5 (hehe..still a lot more to go) but I'm liking it This series seems really refreshing, and Hu Ge and Ariel look cute together- I think its mainly because of their personalities how Hu Ge is so sensible/mature and she's like...a short little kid XD hehee.. cute..

Right now she's getting on my nerves a bit (reminds me of Ah Nu from CP), but hopefully she'll change soon (I'm up to the part where she's being really naughty and giving Hu Ge's parents a horrible time)

Anyways, after seeing CP, I'm delighted to see Hu Ge again

If actually comparing chinese paladin to tian wai fei xian,

I have finished watching TWFX two days ago and had also seen Chinese Paladin.

I have to say overall, i prefer Chinese Paladin as i think it had more action and the stories is very touching as well.... I have rewatched this about 4 times and i still like to rewatch it another time...

As for Tian Wai Fei Xian, although i also like digua and xiaoqi in here but i think their story dragged for the last half of the series especially towards the end of the serie.
I enjoyed their scenes from ep1 to ep26, i think.... their parting in ep 15-16 is very touching and it is fun to see xiaoqi gambled with yuanbao's dad and seeks the help of her sisters to win the gamble. But i found myself to lose interest in them somehow....
And what it kept me watching is xiang xuehai and haoqi story. Though at first Haoqi may be selfish to keep xuehai by his side in order to guarantee his life but when their truth is revealed, haoqi seemed to begin to think for xuehai, like when he defeats digua as digua and yuanbao persuade him to turn back, he said that unless he died, or not his life would always belong to xuehai. It is really touching to see haoqi changing the story of the 'xian fan zhi ge' for xuehai... and the scene before xuehai dies, he brings her to see 'xiang xuehai'.
After the death of xuehai and haoqi, i find myself not that wanting to carry on the series, nevertheless, i finished it.
As i finished it, my heart really aches for xuehai and haoqi.
I think the difference between CP and TWFX is that CP is more on the battle between the evil and the good but mixed with touching love stories while TWFX is more based on love stories and fates and maybe is the fact that "you reap what you sow".
