What do you think of Hu Ge, Ariel, Tae, Bobby and the main cast?? How was the ending?? Sorry so many questions, but I plan on ordering this series soon(even though I may not watch it right away due to school, but I still want to get it). so I want to know if it is worth getting....

Xue Hai had to kill A LOT of people, i forget the exact number, to become human. she had to do it withink a certain number of days. In the middle of her job, she fell in love with Hao Qi (bobby). He loved her back after awhile, also because their fates were intertwined...whatever happened to xue hai would happen to hao qi. She had nine lives...cat, right?...and she kept on using them to save her loved ones. in the very end, she couldn't kill any more, and she had one life left. She prayed to the gods that her fate and hao qi's fate wouldn't be connected anymore, and they granted her wish. she gave her last life to sai jin who had just died protecting xue hai...pretty sad...hao qi's unfaithful tho. he sleeps with sai jin and xue hai...and i still don't know hwo he REALLY loved...

yeah... apparantly every1 is wondering about the character hao qi... i don't think the script writer made everything really clear about it...

LOL, you're right about the cracking up thing.

But there were some parts where they were talking normally (right before they messed up and started laughing).
For example, the NG scene between Ariel and the actress that played Sai Jin (sorry, I don't know her real name), where Sai Jin's fake hair got stuck to Ariel's hand. You can hear their real normal voices before they started laughing.

Let's just say that Hu Ge and Ariel's story was the cutest thing I've ever seen!!! too explain the whole thing would be waaaaaaaaaaay too complicated...maybe me or sw33tz will endeavor to do it someday. tae and florence ended up really sweet together...not fighting or complaining, just a sweet love. fu zi right after he saw xiao er for the last time...you don't find out what happens to xiao er, only that she's in rehabilitation...

However, I want to ask some specific questions. I saw in the clips that there was a part where Ariel says that she never loved Hu Ge. He was really hurt at the moment. How did he feel after that?? Was he mad at her after he saw her again?? who was that old man that hit Hu Ge?? I remember that there was a part where he asked him (Hu Ge called him Shi Fu) if he can marry Ariel? But he got mad and hit him with his "wand"... There was this old lady with him too. Who are they?? Are they from heaven?? Why did he forbid them to be together??

ooooooooooh...that part. okay, er lang shen was the old man and tu di shen was the old lady...they were disguised as xiao qi's parents. er lang shen forbade them to marry b/c she was a "shen xian" he was human. that's the main conflict of the story: gods and humans cannot be together. that is why xiao qi and hu ge keep on having to seperate. He felt completely devastated after and fainted. the "want" was a magic staff. one strike on a human would leave them blacked out for three days and three nights. di gua was hit with it four times and still had some strength to chase after her. it was xue hai that saved him. xue hai was indebted to xiao er, and since xiao qi was her sister, xue hai wanted to help xiao qi by saving di gua. she couldn't finish the process tho, and left before she could fully give back his memory, so he forgot xiao qi. then, his parents die, so his "qing gen" or "love/emotion root" has broken completely. xq come back and makes him remember everything...to explain everything else would be insane...better to watch it. did i get it right sw33tz?

Thanks again!! I already know about that whole theme about humans and gods can't be together. Just knowing who that old man and lady were was enough... I know how er lang shen is too... He actually isn't that bad.. I wonder why series make it seem like he is?

I will eventually see it to find out. That is so sad that his parents died. How did they die?? I think it is very painful to lose your parents. Where were Hao Qi and Tae during this time?? Why didn't they help Tong YOng/Di Gua?? Thanks so much again!!!!

The Cast: 10 perfect ppl!!! especially ariel, hu ge and bobby!!! lolz..
Storyline: 9 A little draggy at times, compared to chinese paladin, a little less concrete, but its still amazing!!!
Script: 10 The words were soooooo touching!!! They can make you laugh and cry!!
Costumes: 9 They could use a little work, but overall, pretty good!!!
Scenery: 10 gorgeous!!!

while hu ge parent were killed, tae was running away from florence. They have one night stand and she made him marry her so he run away. That what I think because I remember a scence he crying to hu ge, then when he pretend to be a girl and went back home.

how xiao qi made him remember was to like plead for her sisters and others to help him remember who he is and stuff, because the blow (of his parents death) was so bad that the qing gen was broken and he was like, in depression ish...

when di gua's parents died, tae ran off because of the one night stand... hehe! he didn't want to marry that girl..., yup he was sobbing to hu ge because he was in so much trouble... and then pretended to be a girl and a translator to that that michelle saram... hehe!


The Cast: 11 outta 10, i luv da cast!!! tae....hu ge... ariel... bobby, c'mon, cute girl, cute/hot guys... wat more can u ask?
Storyline: 9.5, somethings were unexplained properly, eg why did hao qi two time/betray sai jing...
Script: 12 outta 10... man the tissues used.. the tears tat fell... words are so damn touching.... awwwwww
Costumes: 9.5, due to the fact that the 'fairy' costumes u can see their modern clothes as the first layer (ok i know they were filming in like zero degrees.... butbut... at least make it white... not like patterned....) but still, the clothes especially xiao qi's pink and yellow was nice... oh oh and her long guang biao... it is so hilarious!!!!!!!
Scenery: 10 gorgeous!!!

uhuh... they meet on da streets of shanghai... hu ge was extremely cute in there... he had his iPod (his own) and yeah, i think that is probably his everday style, so hu ge -sih hehe!!!!! but the chemistry of dat scene is just touching and xtremely cute!!! but i do wonder how cute it will b if it is a bookstore... hmm...

Hu Ge walks along the books looking for a book, can't find one, goes up to the counter, no one, then sees the back of a very familiar girl... but can't pin point her name...

yeah, di gua was a little mad that she came back. he said, "ni xin zai hui lai le, wo zhi neng hen ni la. bu hen ni, wo jiu huo bu xia qi le"...xiao qi's like "ok then, i'll go." she leaves, but then hu ge comes up and hugs her from behind and tells her she can't leave and they make up....ADORABLE SCENE!!!!!

I really hope there's a part 2. Hu Ge looks very shuai in modern day!! Ariel as Xiao Qi is the cutest character ever. The girl who do the dubbing for Ariel's character is very good also.

I agree, Ariel is the cutest Taiwanese actress. The only think I disagree on is that I think in terms of look, she's very cute too, just gotta look longer. I think she's cuter than Rainie in both looks and personality. Maybe I am just too in love with her character in TWFX. Xiao Qi is just simply adorable. So wanna pinch her cheeks, it's chubby in a very cute way.

To me, Ariel is the best actress out there .... not only is she adorable ... but she is also talented and whatsmore I like her real life personality ... serious and with a sense of humor ...

About the costumes, I didn't like how the goddesses didn't have any pants. It must have been freezing... Some of the costumes looked too modern and their shoes at times looked like they were ballerinas.

Me too. Although I really l like Chinese Paladin but I think TWFX is slightly better. I love how Di gua(if that is how you spell it) is so faithful to Xiao Qi. Their love is more true than compared to Xian Jian in which Hu Ge loves both girls. I prefered that a guy only love one. Highly recommend!! Both Hu Ge and Ariel did such a good job! I'm so in love with them and their characters in TWFX.

doe bobby likes both girls? why he merried with Xue Hai? he like Xue Hai more than Sai Jin? I feel sorry for Sai Jin that she has to face that Bobby getting merried with Xue Hai.

Ariel and Bobby were dubbed because they are from Taiwan and Taiwan stars are always dubbed.... I heard that stars are usually dubbed because their real voice doesn't "suit" the character. I don't like that but that is why they are dubbed so much...

i think some actors were dubbed due to their region accents
asian ppl have different accents due to where they live, or grew up
and some accents others cannot understand very well
so i think they dubbed it so then it's easier to understand and the whole cast can have one type of dialog

ya, ariel woz dubbed, so woz bobby, tae and sai jing, hu ge dubbed his own voice, so basicaly the whole thing woz dubbed.

i finally understand the ending after watching a few times...the words that came out before modern times actually links together with the meetup in modern times..touching show..i wanna collect the cd!

my friends friend knows hu ge more like it hehe!!! he is really down to earth and still childish and fun to be around with... hehe! his friend was complaining that no matter how famous he is, he still can't eva b on time for lunch meetings, she was fully annoying him by saying how he is like, driven there b private cars and is still late, other friend's lateness is ok because there was no taxis to catch hehe....
