I think shes pretty and should stick to acting. Her singing is abosutely horrible. Sounds like any other girl singing @ K. I'm sorry but i just had to say that. While artists like her are getting heavy rotation, artists with great voices like Joyce lee are being ignored b/c they aren't pretty or don't possess the qualities HK ppl are now looking for.

Niki's Album Selling Well

Niki Chow held an autograph signing earlier, attracting around 500 fans to support her and as she performed her song and dance, she was backed by four dancers sent along by her record company to show how highly they rated her. As it was Niki's birthday the following day, many fans presented her with gifts and she said happily: "Although I have to work on my birthday, it doesn't matter because I am a workaholic. They (the crew) will celebrate with me."

The most exciting thing for Niki was that her new album has sold more than 8000 copies in the first batch: "They are already pushing the prices up on my album, going from $50 to over $85. I hope that I can sell over 10,000 copies. Then I will take my colleagues out for abalone, ginseng and sharks fin and if it gets any better, I will take them on holiday!"

With reports that Jade Kwan had accused Niki of beating her out of the market, has Niki been comforted by her boss Lo Kit Shing? She says: "No, the company has told me not to comment on this." Manager Sandy Lam says that the instruction has been given not to discuss this matter to avoid it getting more and more controversial.

Tonight Niki Chow will hold a music concert. Lately for the concert, she has been busy practicing dances, songs, and keeping her looks for the show. This time Niki has alot of dances, especially alot of Chinese dances. She will also sing on the same stage with her apprentice V and Casey. There will also be a secret guest star, Niki said, "I invited a male singer here to sing with me, and I gaurantee that the audience will be suprised." Niki expressed that for this concert, her whole body aches, "I practiced until I had thigh convulsions, and my muscles still hurt now!" She also laughed that every night she goes to sleep, she thinks about the songs, what great pressure on her!

Yesterday Niki Chow held her first live concert ever, and was supported by her company's boss Mr. and Mrs. Lou, but Jade Kwan was no where to be seen.

Other than singing with her apprentice Casey and V, she also wore ancient clothings with a friend and performed Chinese dances. After the last scene, she saw that there were thousands of fans there to support her and immediately cried like a "pig", wiping her tears nonstop, and couldn't even continue with her song. Reporters asked Niki why Ekin and the Grasshoppers were there but Jade is no where to be seen, she responded, "The company planned it, all of it was thought up by them."

Sandy Lam helped by saying, "The company has not invited special celebs to come watch because the tickets were given to Niki's family and sponsors, like Mr Lou. Ekin was invited because before he helped Niki film a music video, and with the Grasshoppers, they were Niki's first celeb concert she went to. (Are you afraid that Jade will not be happy that she was not invited?) No! She has other work to do. (How is Jade's contract going?) She is still considering, hope she can give me an aswer as soon as possible!" Other than the music company's staff that were there at the concert, Niki's whole family were also there to support, but Niki doesn't want to reveal her family and asked the reporters not to bother them.

Niki becomes spokesperson for Canon cameras

Yesterday Niki attended a camera brand function; she also signed a contract to become of spokesperson for this company, Canon, for 2 years. Niki attended this function wearing a peach red dress and played games with the guests. Niki said that Ekin has given her a camera before and now as the spokesperson for canon, she will give him a camera.

Niki said that she liked taking photos, but as a celebrity she is afraid that when she takes her photos to developed, the shop will take copies of the photos. Niki says, “If only I could develop my own photos!”

When asked what kind of photos she liked taking, Niki said, “I really want to take wedding photos for my sister. I want her to get married but my mum hasn’t told my sister to get married, it would be weird if I took mum’s job to tell her to get married. (Maybe you will get married before her!) That might happen but I will not rush to get married!”

Niki Chow who has a heart full of love, earlier went to Singapore to film a short music clip. She went to the sea and swam with the porpoise causing her to be really happy. This was Niki's first time in contact with the porpoise, when she obtained a her first from the porpoise, she smiled 'forever', "These porpoise are used for performances, regular guests are not allowed in the water! I obtained the authorization, and the porpoise are actually very lovable!"

Niki Chow, who's popularity has been rising alot recently, had a magazine report refering that she has 'one foot on two boats' (like dating two guys at once). She was said to have contact with Kevin Cheng when filming and now also rumored that she's secretly dating Max Mok. Niki's manager Lam San San said, "Think whatever you think, it will not affect Niki's image, she is not having 'one foot on two boats'. Also because of her work load, she won't have time to go out anyways." Niki who has recently signed as the ambassador for Canon will probably have her comercial out by next month.

She is so pretty, I like her since Hard Fate, the first time I see her. Gosh, she has a really good acting for a new actress. She is way better than like Fiona Sit, and prettier than Fiona and Ella Kwan. She even has really really great acting than other old pplz.

I think she looked a lot better in 'The Gentle Crackdown' than in 'Hard Fate.' She looks like she's squinting a lot in the series though. I wonder if she has a vision problem.

Niki Chow and Jade Kwan enemies?

BMA female singers, Niki Chow and Jade Kwan after having report saying that they were enemies. Yesterday had a chance to clear things up and prove that they were friends. Unfortunately Jade cancelled her plan to attend the function. Niki denied all reports saying she and Jade were enemies but the subject on becoming the ‘big sister’ of BMA was left uncommented.

Last night was the grand opening of Yoga Plus. Celebrities who attended the opening ceremony includes Niki Chow, Grasshoppers, Jerry Lo (林曉峰), Lily Hong, Fanny Yuen, Yu On On and Cara Chan. All the invited celebrities attended except for Jade Kwan. Jade’s assistant said that Jade had to attend another function as a spokesperson for a spa. This did not match with what Niki said. Niki said that all BMA workers were to attend. But after hearing that Jade was not coming, Niki quickly said, “This was organised by the company. I do not know.”

Niki Chow, who has been filming a comercial all covered up, yesterday attended a promotional function for digital electronics. She expressed that earlier after attending her birthday party, she lost her digital camera's memory card. Luckily she does not have any 'weird' pictures in them, so she isn't that worried that someone would release her pictures. She also expressed that she will put pictures online for people to see, "I've tried taking pictures of my bedroom and putting it online for the fans to see. But actually the responses to it were pretty big, they were asking whether it was really my bedroom and my bed!"

What Niki is sad about is that her parents didn't record any of her childhood moments being naked in the bathroom growing up, "Maybe they did it to my sister and brother, but when its my turn, theyre not interested anymore! Yesterday Niki Chow was rehearsing for TVB's 'Jade Star Singers Show' practicing her dance move for a dance battle. She self-ridiculed her body saying, "I dont have a 'coconut' size, it's more like a coconut tree size (flat)."

Niki was once again asked about her rumors, and there were reports saying that Niki was happy (by this picture where she was holding up a peace sign) that Jade Kwan was crying. Niki immediately said, "That hand V shape picture was added along the article by someone. Don't make it sound like it's all my fault, I don't want this to happen either!"

A day before, Niki went to Thailand to film for one of Korea's show "Kill Love". She has to play a good fighter girl and she and a Korean fighter had to have a scene where they were fighting onstage. In Hong Kong, Niki has already been running everyday to exercise her breathing and is practicing with a martial arts master.
