Myolie Wu and Joe Ma, together with a six member crew have arrived safely in Athens to film the lead up to the Olympic Games. As there have been terrorist attacks there, they immediately called to confirm their safe arrival to the producer Lee Hon Yuen. Lee says: "I have just received their call and I know that they have arrived and are preparing for filming. Everything is going smoothly and on the security front, they say that there are military police parading in Athens, but they do not feel there is anything special." Also, Lee reveals that they have arranged for a local student to meet with Myolie, Joe and the crew to make arrangements for their stay and ensure the swift completion of filming before their return on Sunday.

Also, in preparation for the welcome for the games, six stars members Ron Ng, Sammul Chan, Bosco Wong and Kenneth Ma, together with Miss Hong Kong representatives including Heidi Chu and Carrie Lee will be passing an Olympic torch through Hong Kong, Kowloon and the five regions of the New Territories in a spectacular event.

Parting Miss Hong Kong winners, Mandy Cho, Priscilla Chik, Selena Li and Carrie Lee took part in a promotion for TVB Pearl's broadcast of the Asia Cup Soccer Tournament and Mandy did play football as a child, but stopped when she grew older. She says that as a lot of football matches are aired at night, her sleep is more important to her so she does not watch much football, but she does like to watch footballers when she keeps her dad company, such as David Beckham and Portugal's Luis Figo. She will be supporting the Chinese team in the Asian competition.

Mandy works for the same slimming company as Joyce Cheng, who has recently returned to Hong Kong. However, Mandy says she has not seen Joyce apart from in the newspaper reports and hopes that she can meet her in person in the future. Mandy adds: "I don't know if she really does want to slim down to 100 lbs, but I feel she is a lot prettier now and I admire her determination. She has not only worked hard at keeping fit and dieting, I believe that she will be happier now when she goes out and maybe Lydia (Shum) will let her enter Miss Hong Kong next year!"

Priscilla says she is not too interested in soccer and she says she prefers diving and ice skating because they are more artistic sports. As for suggestions that the standards of this year's Miss Hong Kong contestants have fallen, Priscilla stands up for her sisters, saying: "I don't think so, because every year they choose different girls and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you cannot please everyone in the world. I feel that the standards are not bad at all." She also indicates she will be extending her contract with TVB for a few years and progress her career in showbiz. When asked whether the opportunities for Miss Hong Kong's are very small, she says that this is not the case as everyone is doing different things. She is quite happy with her children's programmes at the moment.

News Update on Carrie Lee

Carrie has decided to leave TVB for good. She is now back in Canada, and most likely will not go back.

It's really sad to hear that she left. I was looking forward to her maybe becoming the next TVB star.

I like her official portrait but I don't really think she's stunningly pretty =/ I've never seen her act either so don't know where her talent lies. And I think she's smart to move back to Canada because TVB salaries are REALLY horrible unless you're a super star and they promote the heck out of you.

ahh yeh she was a miss hk in dreams of colours rite? the one who wore myolie's dress rite? she looks very pretty...did she present the hk olympic sport show thing...get set go with chin ka lok? or was it the super trio show..not sure..maybe it was someone else.

i've just finished watching shades of truth, but don't recall seeing carrie in that series.. can anyone tell me who she is in shades of truth? thnx!

really like carrie lee:D she's really pretty and smart!! she did a fantastic job in all her interviews such a shame that she didn't even win the miss hk title. and she lost to mandy! which make me so pissed! i just don't understand why she didn't win, like that rabeea girl? she's so ugly looking.. i think she looks like a monkey. and my friend is her cousin..she said that she's really snobby in real life.

I think priscilla looked better, or least she looks prettier now. I don't like Rabeea either, didn't understand why everyone said she's HOT during misshk! and yea, it's quite sad that Carrie left, but I guess she is happy in Vancouver now.

I think Carrie Lee is kinda prettier than Mandy Cho. It sucks cause she didn't win Miss HK 2003, lol. =x I thought she would win.

It's amazing how Mandy Cho managed to win MissHK 2003. The other pageants, Carrie, Rabee, etc. are better looking and more talented. Yet, TVB still choose to promote Mandy Cho so much.

Carrie was not a Miss Hong Kong runner up. Although in my heart she should of at least placed. Carrie filmed a few very small one line roles in a few series. She has now left TVB and returned to Canada.
