Ray Lui Takes His Son To Guang Xi To Help With Disaster Relief

Yesterday, Ray Lui took his six years old son (善揚) with him to Guang Xi to visit the snow disaster victims. Even though his son was young but he was very calm facing the media. Ray’s son did his own interview. Ray expressed that he donated money to Guang Xi to build a school so he choose to visit that location. He also took 200 pairs of shoes from a company to donate to the students. It would be a four day trip. His son accompanied him when he was visiting other places so he would be physically okay for the trip. Also, his son was very happy to leave school. Lately, Ray is paying more attention because there are cases of influenza. He is concerned about his son’s health. Yesterday, kindergarten students had an early Easter holiday break. Ray said that every parent would be worried so he is teaching his son the importance of hygiene.

Anita Yuen and Ray Lui were shooting in the studio for new series "The Grand Entrepreneur " yesterday. Anita Yuen who found out about Nancy's rush to the hospital states, "Sister Nancy and i have many scenes together. She plays my mother and I hope she gets well soon. I dont think it will affect the filming schedule too much, we can film other scenes first. I called Nancy Sit but her assistant picked up. Just let her rest for now.

Ray Lui stressed that Nancy Sit must take good care of ehrself and rest before resuming filming. It was unexpected and there has been no plans on what to do. Kenix Kwok who had been notified earlier had visited Nancy to see what her condition was.

The pair strolled in the park to reflect upon their marriage. The pair gave professional performances and the scene was completed in one take. The cast and crew were able to get off work early.

Absent from the entertainment industry for many years, Jamie admitted that she had to make an adjustment during initial filming of “Born Rich.” Fortunately, Jamie’s husband, Michael Miu Kiu Wai provided encouragement and she was able to adjust quickly.

Ray Lui will be releasing an EP to support SiChuan charity

Yesterday Ray Lui accepted an interview with Nancy Sit on Metro radio station. May 12 is SiChuan's first year anniversary. It is Ray's first time going into music where he sings "Give You The Future" (給你未來) and he will be releasing an EP for the SiChuan charity. Ray said: "In 1980, someone wanted me to release an album, but I never found a reason to do so. This time releasing an EP is to bring music to the victims of SiChuan, to comfort them. I personally have been practicing my singing, so recording the songs is not a challenge." Ray expressed that the EP will only release to Mainland and Taiwan, the profits and the ringtone downloads will be use for the SiChuan charity. Also, on June 1st he will be building a Music Classroom with the donations. Asked about his contributions? Ray said: "No exact amount, I have always donated, earlier I donated to a few schools."

Since Ray Lui returned to TVB to film TV series "Born Rich" he has grabbed alot of attention. However he is not afraid of the TV ratings or netizens criticisms. He said "I feel no pressure. I feel as long as I have done my best that’s all that matters. The ratings for the series are not for me to decide. Netizens criticisms are just people expressing their individual opinions. People will have different views and I will accept their feedback.

Ray deliberately changed his acting techniques for his role as a breakthrough. He has never considered becoming the TV King. He said "I treat this award ceremony as an entertainment programme rather than a competition. But it#s good to acknowledge actors too. It also excites the viewers".

While filming the series Ray was able to work with the younger generation of artistes. This reminded him of how he used to work really hard in the past. The reporter asked him which current Siu Sang he finds has potential. He replied "Raymond Lam is very good. I have watched him in [The Master of Tai Chi] with Vincent Zhao. His martial arts scenes were quite good, he performed really well".
