I have heard and seen him frequently on X Man, which is a Korean comdedy show or something like that. The first time I saw Kim Jong Kook, I was stunned since he is so buff and well built, it was sort of scary to me. I thought that if he hugged his girlfriend, then he would crush her to death with his bulging muscles. I do not think he is that attractive looking but his voice is ok in my opinion. By the way, I heard that he is very close with some girl named Yoon Eun Hye almost like girlfriend and boyfriend.

I know him through watching X-Man. He is really bulky (yay!) but he has this really soft voice when he sings. There is nothing wrong with that but hahah in X-Man, they make fun of his voice as resembling a mosquito. He and Park Kyung Lim are so funny together.

i dont think kim jong kook is a new artist, like what the other guy said in a previous message on this thread. i believe he was a part of this group called Turbo with HaHa? that is what i got out of watching x-man because clearly, i was like 5-6 when the group was acknowledged.

kim jong kook is not a new artist. he has already had 3 albums and he was in a band before he went solo. thats what i heard from my korean freinds.
now i'm listening to his newest album - "this is me". its really really good. but i ripped it from my friend so i don't know where you can get it.

Kim Jong-gook’s 4th album is a hit even without the singer himself

Despite the fact that Kim Jong-gook cannot appear on broadcast shows due to military service, his new album is gaining great response in both on- and off-line music markets. Kim’s management agency said, “Without the singer himself performing the new songs on air, more than 10 thousand copies of the new album are being sold daily.” Kim Jong-gook’s 4th album was predicted to be a hit when pre-orders for 10 thousand copies rushed in for the day of the release. Since the music video for the new album’s title song “Letter” was revealed recently, the sales of the album skyrocketed to the top of local music charts. An official from Kim’s agency said, “At first, we were worried about the release of the new album without the singer himself, but the concerns have disappeared in light of the great support from fans.” Kim Jong-gook is currently carrying out his military service as a public worker in the social welfare department of Hyochang Social Welfare Center in downtown Seoul.

Yoon Eun Hye will be the star in Kim Jong Kook's music video titled "It's Love" filming was last week, it lasted for 2 days, one on set and one outside. KJK may not be in the MV with her because of military restrictions for media appearance that could generate income is prohibited. But a fan who was in the set that day saw them taking pics fro the MV...so there's still a possibility...

Sorry to disagree but yoon eun hye is the ideal girl of KJK he always said that and i think they are for real they are dating everybody saw it. In fact chae yeon was junk by KJK twice one in xman and the other in loveletter he said sorry he cannot replace eun hye in his heart.

I totally agree he has always been very vocal that Yoon Eun Hye is his ideal girl and he even said it in many interviews and shows that he's been to.

Is it really true that Kim Jong Kuk and Eun Hye are together? I think Chae Yeon and Kim Jong Kuk are a better couple. When i saw xman for the very first time, i thought chae yeon and kim jong kuk were together. Maybe it is because I am a fan of Chae yeon , but I really think they are a better couple.
But anyway, Kim jong kuk can sing very well. His voice is perfect for ballads. I wish I had his voice.

I just discovered him from xman too. he is just so charming and cute. i'm gonna have to check out loveletter too since i notice in the past responses, alot of you guys had mentioned about it. i hope that its english subbed.
