Does anyone have Ryo's version of 3gatsu 9ka? I heard he sang it at his solo con and was near crying while at it.

I cried soooo much throughout this drama. The actress is so good and Nishikido is so yummm...The ost is awesome too.

i think the most sad part is the letter part.. and then aya realised that she needs asou alot but she couldnt do anything anymore.. i was happy tat asou went to look for her himself at the later part haha.. haii.. i feel lk crying again as im thinking abt the show!! this is crazy haha...

i like this drama sooo much! gonna get the dvd soon!! i rewatched one litre around 3 times....very very touching

LOLZ!! You are too obsessed over the show!! I think I might rewatch the whole show again sometime but at least not in the near future.. Though I love to watch the touching romance between Erika and Ryo in a few of the scenes from the show

the behind da scenes was soooo sad!!!! the mother in da thing was crying reallli badly afta one particular scenes and probably said to the real mom about her courage or something...

the real aya stozzie was sooo sad!! when the actresss went to see the memorabilas of her she was crying.. soo sad!! the real aya was quite pretty... but then later she got a bit sick and was really sad to see her in dat way... =S

but she was a strong person... lovely!! certainly the aya in the show had a much more graceful death....

Wow, this sounds really good... I just find it a pity that they had to 'add' the guy to the story. I've already shed some tears just reading the comments... I really do wonder how much I'm going to cry! >.<

why do u find it a pity? If im not wrong, her mother requested it.. I think she just wanted Aya (though not in real life but at least on screen) to fall in luv.. and make her look less lonely? ive a feeling that the real Aya only have her family with her.. not sure if she has real gd frens lk in the show..

the mother did dat because the real aya really wanted to get married and like have a bf... but she neva did... so i think the mother wanted dat to be in the stori...

it was really touching... it was soo sad! i am still watching slowly (i have watched bits and pieces) aww... soo sad!!!

I finally got myself to watch this drama and I'm now on Episode 5. Its SO sad.... Aya is so brave. If I found myself in her situation, I don't think I can be as strong. She really shows you how frivalously us humans spend our lives, when we should be valuing it.

i loove this drama!! i haven't finished it yet, but i've already cried so much that i went to school with a slightly swollen eye O_o when i first started watching, i thought ryo looked very weird..but after watching a few more episodes, i instantly fell in love with him =DD

haha..........the same thing happened to me.........me and my sister watched the last episode but we had school the next day.........and of course, i cried.......and then the next day my eyes were a little puffy too..........haha...........and i thought the same thing about Ryo..........but then he grew on me too.........noe i love him!!! haha

I had just started getting back into watching jdrama when a friend introduced this one to me and I really enjoyed watching it. The girl playing Aya is a really good actress (and really cute).

yea, the same with me!!! haha..........gosh, it was just so sad........that was the first time that he cried in the drama right?? awww, that was such a sad scene........

chapter 5..was good.. in that aya didnt want the people around her to feel sad.

The "relationship" she had with the fellow basketball player.. was a bit short ..but i guess it was nice of him to say you'll get well soon

chapter 6 is soooooooooo heart wrenching..the stares she got from other people gossiping about her , that moment when she was running for the bus..and then she shown her pass - then the stares she got from passengers on that bus

i must say besides erika, the little girl who plays aya's little sister is sooooooooo cute.
onto chapter 7 now..wow they have moved the story fast - to the point she needs a wheelchair and has everyone's help. I thought they will bring that bit in the story progressively and suddenly - showing us how the illness worsens .

haha me too!! but i think it reminds me more of ryo's cuteness.. and his sad face.. oh....

yea, her little sister is soo precious!!! haha ......everytime she came on the screen, you'd go "awwww"..........haha ..........and yea, the series is only 11 episodes so they made it go by fast.........i wish it could've been a little longer but i guess it was good that they just got to the point..........hehe

this drama is all so heart - wrenching we know..but chapter 8 really really had it for me as well as other earlier episodes. IT was all so touching - the farewell speech @ school, the way all her classmates were saying her illness put a strain on their learning pace etc. I cried soo much at her speech and to see her two friends (the one with glasses and the one injured her wrist when she and aya fell down the steps @ school). what hit me harder was the moment aya was leaving and her classmates ran out to say their farewells plus sang that song

can someone explain to me.. the bit on the bridge where aya and haruto were talking etc in chapter 8. SHe obviously knows that haruto has been "looking out" for her since the illness began etc.. but is it aya who wanted to let it go..and didnt want to be a burden on haruto?

i'm thinking yea she did want to let go.......so i guess she wanted to end it before anyone got hurt, esp. Haruto since he couldn't do much for her..........but obviously, they still had feelings for each other...........

finished the series at last..boy i have never cried so much from chapter 8 till the very end. Overall I give it a 10/10 . It was torturous to watch this...not only cos the disease struck a 15 year old but how the disease worsens and does to oneself ' - the speech defect, walking inability, how one wets the floor etc.

it was very brave of her mum when aya did exactly that - wet the floor yet put on a brave face - but also knowing deep inside her condition is worsening. 11 chapters is about right..it would be horrifying to see any more scenes of how the condition strikes aya ' . So cutting here and there was alright.
The love element...very nicely written , shame it wasnt real. THe screen parents did a very good job - mum and dad. I couldnt believe the moment when aya said she want her organs to be donated in order for research on the disease '
gosh..the doctor too was very emotional in this series towards the end

THe screen parents did a very good job - i didnt expect the dad to be that emotional as normally the bonding is stronger between mother and daughter.
The doctor who treated her was very emotional towards the end. PLus very brave to star in the tv adaption once again. The girl who aya befriended @ the special needs school - what happened to her?? Was that added in for the tv series adapation?
CErtainly a fave j-drama of mine in recent years . I made the switch to korean dramas but the synopsis of the storyline to this drama caught my attention so I decided to give it a go.
Aya's parents hearing that aya wanted to help in medical research from the doctor who treated her must of been torturous. BY the way, in the documentary - there wasnt much to be seen / heard of from aya's dad.
it also hit me the moment when aya went home and saw her specially adapted bedroom and going home for christmas. Yet her feelings towards her family were written in her diary yet read by her mum

yesh!!! i would luv that version! haha the reason why i lk the version which he started singing is cos he is singing!!! wahaha..




well, the reason why the doctor is so emotional is because his first patient passed away cos of a disease and he is very young then.. I know that doctors shudnt be so emotional but imagine if u din hv a bad 1st experience which stays with u for a long time.. it will create a shadow in u..

there is one qn which made me pondered.. where does her family get the money from?? i mean the medical bills for 10 years is really huge!! in the drama, it is as though a toufu shop and a nutritionist job is enuff to support her!! that is abit..err...

medical bills... i dunno unless they are like australia where u don't't have to pay for medical treatment as long as u have the card (medicare) which is avaliable for every1, u can go 2 a hospital stay there for as long as u need, come out and pay nothing. so maybe japan is like tat... i dunno....

i understand how doctors have "bonds" with some of their patients yet he dealt with a patient before with this illness. I would think that the family would of got some financial assistance somewhere from within family or selling "things" in order to pay for the medical expenses. I think at the end of the day, you would want the best medical care for your own daughter whatever the cost even if it is a terminal illness - i dunno

yah .. wanting and having is a different thing ar.. i mean.. if u don't hv the money, u cant give the medical care and im sure that there is a limit ... unless ppl donate or there is a subsidy.. and bear in mind that aya even went to a disabled school, which i think isnt cheap
