I LOVE this series. Defintely one of my favourite dramas because it was just made so well. The main actress was great. She depicted Aya's pain really well and you could feel sympathy for her really easily. Even though it's a show about a terminal illness, it's not draggy and you defintely feel closure as the story comes to an end. This drama will make most people cry because it's so emotional! Saddest epes I must say were eight and ten although some people have said six is quite sad (I never got to see ep six).

I love these series as well. I cried heaps with my mum whilst watching it. I cried in every episode and i had to have a towel instead of tissues other wise my face goes bright red. I love the songs as well.
The title sounds so true cause it does bring a litre of tears to everyone. Including the main character. I feel so sorry for the girl who had that disease and i hope that they wll find a cure that is easy to treat the disease.
About the songs. I LOVE the songs from remioromen. even if I listen to it now i remember the drama and then my eyes get filled with tears

this is the first japanese series i watch and i definitely LOVE it..the story is really good and i've cried numerous time watching this series >.<

This series sure made me cried a bucket of tears. Well, what do you expect from a series based on a true story. And a sad one to that. I really admire the real Aya. She really is an amazing individual. I might not be able to handle it well if it were to happen to me.

The actress that portrayed her is quite good too. Although they did not make it to the extreme case where Aya really can't move well. They just forward it. Hmmm.... I guess it would make us cry harder if they did show her on her final stages of life.

I really love this drama,,, it's sooo sad like OMG!! i feel bad for her..it made me realized how there is millions out there who would give anything to live.

i just finished the drama it was soooo gd! i actually enjoyed crying along all the scenes (abit sadistic i noe haha) but i think erika realie did a great job here as Aya. bt one thing i find is tt the ending is a lil abrupt.. wat happened 2 asou-kun? dey din address him at all.. mayb he wasnt in the real story tt's y dere isnt much on him.. bt i'll still lyk 2 noe wat happened 2 him in the end!

This series was extremely tear jerking! So hard to control the tears... esp when I was watching episode 10~ I couldn't even read the subtitles properly because my eyes were so filled up with tears and all around me there were mountains of wet tissues.. haha
But such a meaningful and touching drama. Also I liked the cast, they could all cry so well... even the actors, which was an important skill to have for this drama.. hehe.
Erica did so well with Aya... not stiff yet not over-doing it~ very convincing!
And bcuz the series was based on a true story... it made it all the more sad...
Also, the OST is very nice

Omg, I think I am on espisode five and it is sooo sad!! It was even sadder when I found out that it was based on a true story..that's so sad. It's such a good movie. I usually watch K-Dramas, not Japanese ones, but I've heard of this drama a long time ago and I decided to take a look at it and I think they should put a warning for it : Extremely sad and heartbreaking. But it also changes our lives.

Seriously, I've watched several Korean dramas, which I cried a lot. However, this one just blows me away ! After watching this drama, you change your perspective of the values in life. Suddenly, our problems seem so far away. You can't help but feel for the characters. At the end of each episode, tears start to drop immediately. They showed Aya's pics, how she fought the disease during the years. And the OST is amazing.

There are SO MANY memorable moments. Even the most cold person you know might start crying (or shed a tear). So young but so much strenght. It was terribly sad when she discovered the illness, but that was only the beginning, there's still so much more to see. It is a great drama. 1 litre of tears is GOLD. It shows the love of a family (Ah, God ! a honorable mention to her dad, mom, sisters and brother, they were so great !).

Actually, I love Ryo's character a lot, but it's a shame he didn't exist
As much as I love the main couple, I was more attached to the Ikeuchi family than the others (hey, let's not forget Aya). I got all teary everytime I see her sister or parents. Her illness might devasted them, but it also gives them the chance to bring the good in eveyone.

Ah hell, here are my list of fav moments, I might forget some.

- When Ako gave her speech to his brother about how amazing is Aya and that she sewed his name on his shirt.
- When Haruto starts to sing for her, then came along the whole class.
- When Aya tried to call her mom, but couldn't dial in the hospital.
- Haruto saying he likes her, maybe, probably.
- Aya speech to the whole class, saying that she will be attending to another school from now on.
- When Aya bought a gift to everybody at Christmas.
- When they took the last picture.

You know what ? All I have to tell you is WATCH THIS ! It so worth your time, you sure won't regret it. At first, I wasn't sure I wanted to finish the series, because it was too depressing, but after a while, I was so curious about what was going to happen, I couldn't resist. So don't be afraid and enjoy it !
