you can actually go to the subforum from music entertainment and there should be lyrics for only human. or simply you can just do a search with only human and the 1st one is the right one.

I watched it and it was so sad!!! Apparently there's some translation of the book but I haven't found where it is yet.

It's a true story, but they created Nishikido Ryo's character as a suggestion from Aya's real mom.
amyumi
wow. her story is simply...amazing.
i just watched the last episode, and i swear that i cried throughout ALL 56 minutes of it.
if you're going to watch it soon, have a whole box of tissues...

it really does give you a whole new view on life, ne?

After a week of studies, i always look forward to sundays where i can enjoy a really good drama like one litre. The only catch is that the audience needs to cry their eyes out after each episode. Its all the scriptwriter's fault! THey made it so emotional and the acting is ultra good. I cant wait to watch everything. But the saddest bits that forces a bit more tears out after each episode is the closing credits. By having the real photos displayed as a slideshow against a colourful background brings it back to reality. That this is what people out there are facing. Its too good. I hope they win a lot of drama awards x)

Btw does anyone know if aya diary is sold in translated? or is it only in japanese? My friend's mum has a copy of her diary.
tidusquall
this was my first ever Japanese Drama..my friend recommended it to me, its soo sad and touching especially in Episode 6,8 & 10.
clumsysmurf
I hesitated watching this drama. A girl dying from a terrible disease. You know the ending and you know you will cry. But me, I watch it anyway and very happy with my decision. Yes I cried, but I also smiled while crying. I knew the ending, but I really liked all the things she experienced and learned before then. All the actors were good, but Erika Sawajiri, she was a surprise to me. I heard the actress is good, but still I was surprise.
mrax
i think they need to develop the characters the little more in the begining, could really feel them until epi 4 or 5, since the series is only 11 epi long it seemed kinda rushed
thewonderbegins
Just started watching this...
The female lead is so pretty! I love her hair also.
It's quite hard to understand.. I have it on disc.. and it has chinese subtitles, but my chinese is poor and the subtitles move too fast... So ehh.. I just figure it out as I go along...
This series seems really sad ='(

I love this drama. Either my favorite or one of my favorites out of all the dramas I have watched. This was my first Japanese drama and it was absolutely beautiful. It made me cry so much. Finished the series in 3 days. It was so touching. I wish Asou-kun was real. It must have been hard for the real Aya without support from a person they loved that wasn't family or friends. The acting was great in this drama and I especially love Nishikido Ryo. He's so hot and even though Haruto was just his character I loved how sweet he was in 1 Litre of Tears. A must-watch for anybody whether they like watching dramas or not. It's an inspirational story that everyone should experience.
freedom-foreternity

OMD! this is such an upsetting and touching series! It's really unfair - totally given me a differnt point of how life is! How life is unfair and fair to many people!
azn_chick

OMG... shock.gif Seriously?? You can't NOT cry over something this sad!!! =O

I've just finished watching Episode 6.. and man.. I cried so hard.. that I was seriously choking.. Now my eyes are all red and stinging... But Ep 6 was really sad.. I thought Aya's sister was really annoying.. but when it was so sad and sweet when she stuck up for her saying how amazing she was.. weeping.gif

I've cried in EVERY SINGLE episode so far.. I've cried EIGHTEEN times so far (Yeah.. I know I'm lame.. I actually counted) and the rest of the times.. I just had tears in my eyes.. Aya's so brave and strong.. and it's just so so sad and touching that words cannot actually explain...
seaweed
I'm at episode 4 right now. I think i cried 3-4 times. I have a friend who also watch it and she cried so many times for each episode!

Omg! I have the same situation! I gave the links to my friend, and she stopped at eps. 10! (The saddest episode!) She said it was boring and she didn't understand the part when Aya told her mum that she couldn't dial her. I cried like crazy and she said it was boring! dry.gif I don't even think she finished the series! What a waste! I even regret it to show it to her.. I actually think she offended the whole series and the real Aya.. ''/ If it is a fiction, I wouldn't say anything about it, but this is a real story about a girl who was suffering from a terrible disease until her death.. how could she say that the girl's story is boring?

I love this series! This is definitely my favourite series. I am addicted to it. It's soo touching and sad.. I cried a lot while watching this series. The soundtracks are beautiful and the female lead is so pretty! I love her hair. I don't think the male lead is that hot, but they're a cute couple. I really like the scenes between Aya and her mother. Very, very touching. This is not just a series. The message of the series has a depth.. A must see to everyone!
clearingsky
a, I'm just in ep 6. but I'm loving it !!!
erika sawajiri are a great actress. watched her latest "taiyou no uta". that was good too !
mochatwee
this was my first series and oh my goodness was i addicted! besides making me bawl my eyes out this series really touched my heart. just thinking that this was someone's life story made everything so real and i think it's the best series i've ever seen. the characters that play in this series did an amazing job too! i think they really were able to honor the life of this person through such a wonderful series. the girl who actually suffered through this disease is really amazing too and i really admire her.
thewonderbegins
I'm on the very last episode! I'm gonna watch it later on in the week. And OMG.. it's so sad... I actually think I have cried one litre of tears. I have decided to start a fansite for 1 litre of tears, because it touched me so much. I have a serious obsession with the Taiwanese Drama 'Mars' but since seeing this, it has touched and moved me even more. I love Aya's character so much.. such a beautiful, strong girl.. ='( I cry loads at night thinking about her now... It's so sad....

The past episodes have been so sad... I love the quote from the letter that Aya wrote to Asou saying "Thank you for supporting me and being there for me. I'm sorry that I can't give anything back to you" So sad... ='( Sawajiri Erika is such an awesome actress... she plays the role of Aya very well.. and Nishikido Ryo is also good at acting.. and his crying is very convincing...

I'm gonna miss this series once I've finished it... But I will re-watch.. I'm preparing myself for the last ep, since I know what's gonna happen, but I'll probs cry loads since I've cried in EVERY SINGLE ep so far... ='( <3

i just finished this drama yesterday. the parts that i most cried in were episode 8, the end of ep. 10 and the part where ako tells hiro to be proud of his sister. the whole series was sad overall, but these made me cry the most. i know it sounds cheezy, but this drama really made me realize that my problems aren't that big a deal after all. it makes me appreciate what i have right now, and i hope that nothing like this ever happens to anyone. I would love to read the book. i wonder where i could find it..... anyways, this is definitely one of my TOP dramas.

Just finished watching the last episode... Have finally finished the series =) Very very sad and touching, probably the best drama I've seen. It was too sad to even describe and the acting was really good. The ending wasn't as sad as I imagined it to be.... I don't really get when Aya exactly died.. was it after she was speaking with Asou Haruto?... But I actually only cried once in the last ep. It wasn't as emotional as other scenes and I guess it was quite nice knowing that she was peaceful and at rest and away from pain.

I actually did not really understand a word of what actually happened in the 10th and 11th episode since I couldn't find it in english subs. lol

But overall, great drama... Definetely recommended =)

just watched this.. my first Japanese after a long time... gosh this is good... didn't like the main theme at first but subsequently somehow it catches on me..
I haven't seen a solid drama on such theme already.. and yes I agree that one of the most touching part is when Yako scolded her brother when he felt ashamed of Aya.. I can't remember how much I teared over that and oh yes when Aya overheard the complaints from her classmates esp coming from her closest frens.
All the actors and actresses acted well i love the crying scenes from Ryo so natural makes u wanna tear for him as well... where's he from? He's only 21 .. given his age he can act very well

I have a request can anyone upload the Only Human on the Music D/l section cos most of the YSI links here have expired already...
smile_ive

Yeah lol It is touchin til the point of crying... It's so so sad, but I guess the end wasn't as sad as I thought, the beginning and middle episodes leading up to her death were the hardest to watch because she went through a lot of suffering and everyone around her was upset, and it was so moving seeing her so strong and willing to live her life to the fullest.

Just realised.... They didn't show Asou Haruto in the end... What happened to him??... I'm really curious now lol And I don't actually know when Aya actually passed away... Was if after her conversation with Asou?... But she was still kinda smiling and crying... =S

Can anyone translate the bit where the doctor cried?.. Cos I didn't actually get a word of it.. =S lol
joycebsm
oh my goodness...this show is even sadder cos it's based on a true story..the 1st episode itself made me cry.....!!!
flyingpotato_
I'm still watching this series, but she kept writing until she couldn't hold a pen any longer; so sad. It was really sad to watch her change each day yet she still didn't give up and continued life. Erika was pure cute in this series. I hope they can find a cure for this disease someday D:

I agree that this is a good drama as well, extremely moving. All the cast played their roles well and this deserves 5 stars...hmm, anyone has the songs 9th of march and konayuki?? The links by junk11 aint workin...I watched finish in 3 days...but its an addictive series, and a sad one as well..I liked it especially when they featured the relationship between Aso and Aya, as Asou takes over the basketball senpai..Apart from that, the support given by her family was also very strong...Her classmates had contrasts in feelings throughout, but when she finally was forced to leave the school the song made the scene touching.. Although in real life Asou and all the classmates etc did not exist, i thought i preferred the drama, perhaps because the cast looks good? Hmm..though it was a moving story, i did not particularly catch onto anything much, except to cherish life? Well, overall there are many contributions to the sad scenes, such as the great music by K, Only human...and the many other nice songs, which everytime i hear id be reminded of the sad scenes she was together with Asou...Unfortunately not even a hug was seen inside 1 LOT...so, someone come up with "9th of march" and "konayuki"
smile_ive
it's really touching >.< i agree tt right from the first ep, u'll feel like crying .... such a healthy girl could actually lose the abilities to walk n do all those stuffs she like... all dreams r dashed juz bcoz of a sickness ~ life is sure vunerable .....
