I'm currently watching it. Such a sad series, I really feel for the main character; Aya.
I'm on episode 6 right now and I'm throughly enjoying it. I hope to read the book about it someday!

i lovedd one litre of tears~~~ ahhh soo sad, i never knew a drama could be this sad, like crying in almsot every episode!!
and its also the reason why i started liking ryo

this drama...is the saddest drama i've ever seen i suppose..
my mum and i can actually sob for every episode..
and this drama is nevertheless motivating too...but still it's a really sad story =(

OMg this drama was soo sad~ I almost cried 1 litre of tears every episode while watching it. It's a wonderful story with a courageous heroine, a drama that REALLY worth watching.

1 Litre of Tears is very sad both the DRAMA and MOVIE are really sad. Asae Oonishi (who plays Asumi in the disability school in the drama) plays Aya in the Movie and she did a really good job but she had to limit her disability lookingness in the drama because even though Erika played Aya she wasn't able to make it look really convincing than Asae but she is awesome as well her crying scenes are awesome! ERIKA SAWAJIRI FTW! even if she has a forty year old boyfriend I still support her!

You can watch the movie on crunchyroll. It is actually based on the diary (like 90%) but the drama is based around 60-80% of the diary and contains alot of fictious scenes. You can read the diary at www.xanga.com/onelitre ^^

when she had to go live on her own's name??? she had the
same disease as erika. I think she's soo cute! anywho know???

this drama was so sad, I cried in almost every single episodes and the characters all acted well, I couldn't stop watching it once I started and end up finishing the whole drama in one day it was so crazy, all the struggle she had to overcome and her family dealing with the illness was touching
