TVB artistes Sharon Chan and Suki Chui held autograph sessions yesterday to promote their new books respectively. During the event,TVB's general manager,Stephen Chan together with artistes Kenneth Ma,Nancy Wu and Christine Ng appeared at Sharon's stall to show support. Stephen Chan even personally wrote a preface on Sharon Chan's book during his visit. Suki Chui's stall however has only her elder sister present to support her. Suki's stall was not as boisterous compared to Sharon's.

Sharon thanked Stephen Chan for writting a preface on her book and gave him a pair of figurines as a gift of return. She revealed that she needs to film while writing her book. Because of being busy in the day,Sharon has always need to write her book in the night.

Sharon was also very touched when friends from the entertainment industry showed up to support her new book. Her new book is about love relationships,the details of the books were relationship experiences of herself and her friends. Only 2000 copies of her books has been approved for publish. Asked if Sharon had worried about the sales,she said "I won't know about the results,but i hope that more people will support this book!"

Kate Tsui apologizes to stop the negative rumors

Kate Tsui recently had rumors reporting that she didn't get on with Sharon Chan, Christine Ng and Kingdom Yuen while filming the new series "Beautiful HD". Sharon doesn't believe Nancy would say things to hurt people

Sharon attended a Computer Conference yesterday and received a notebook computer as a gift. This notebook had navigation technology so it would help her get to the destination. She expressed that it would be very useful to her because her sense of direction is not very good. Sharon revealed that she was suppose to drive towards the Gold Coast one day, but she ended up in Tuen Mun instead.

Sharon is planning to go to Thailand for a few days during break. Although Thailand seems to have an unstable political status they cannot get their deposit back if they wanted to cancel the trip. They have decided to go on their 4 day trip, "We are a bit worried about it. But we will stay inside the hotel and do some shopping and relax in the SPA. We will try not to leave the hotel and spend our time resting instead."

In regards to the recent media reports about an argument over Deep Ng between Jacqueline Chong and Nancy Wu, Sharon responded "It is difficult to say who is right and who is wrong. Filming of "The Grand Entrepreneurs"

Last week, Gallen Lo was busy filming the grand production, "The Grand Entrepreneurs". Then, she successfully film the drama without failure. On the other hand, for Vincent Wong, he had NGs for many times. Furthermore, Vincent Wong was guided by the director during the filming process. This made the time taken for completing the filming process became longer than the expected. However, Sharon was patient enough to wait and without complain anything about the NGs made by Vincent.

When the clock strikes at 12, Gallen arrived and he was being made-up. After that, he filmed the drama with Vincent Wong. The drama regarding after the argument scene between Sharon and Vincent, Gallen came to advise Vincent.

Gallen Lo and Sharon Chan on \The night before last (1/5/2009), Gallen and Sharon were seen filming in Central for “Grand Entrepreneur” in which they played a pair of lovers. About working with Gallen, Sharon said “Very happy! But I’m not “electrified” yet”. She then hastened to add “Of course we focus on the work!”

Gallen said filming for “Grand” will continue in Hong Kong until March, followed by filming at other locations. He will be working through Lunar New Year and prefers performing on stage. “My manager is currently negotiating a few shows. I’d like to go to Atlantic City first. Shows are great since you can combine leisure travel and work.”

Sharon Chan searches for a good man

Sharon Chan, Pakho Chau, Carlo Ng, and Kwok Ying Giew has ended their Chinese New Year break. Yesterday, they were guests at a new years party. Over the new years, Sharon gambled, but only won very little money. Although she lost about two hundred dollars, she thought it was worth it, since it was fun. Sharon Chan, Jess Shum, Jason Chan and Sarah Song attended a promotion for TV Pearl in Cheung Kwun O yesterday. Speaking about Francois Huynh (Mr. Hong Long 2008) wanted to retired from the entertainment circle in the name of love, Sharon said that is his private affair, she won't comment on it. She said "I am friendlier with his brother. I remember Francois was a very quiet guy and he is very polite too, he listens to his brother as well. I don't put love as my number one priority; I will put love after my family, work and friends."

Jess Shum said she doesn't know Francois that well, but if he sacrifices himself for love, she would be happy and send him best wishes. Jason Chan reckoned it's a pity that Francios gave up his career for love.

“I really miss her! I haven’t seen her in awhile. While filming she would wince in pain but always say that it’s just old joint paints. Mom is really courageous, she’s ill but she continues to film. They will be going to a ShaBa location to film, Sharon says that Nancy doesn’t have many outdoor scenes.

Roots of Evil cast arrived to ShaBa Mall to film an outdoor scene, cast members included Gallen Lo, Anita Yuen, Joe Ma, Kenneth Ma, Vincent Wong and Sharon Chan. In regards to the news that Nancy Sit was in the hospital and has halt her filming, majority of the cast members have been scared to disturb her rest. Yesterday they decided a different method where everyone signed a card to ask about her.

Gallen Lo states, “I admire her. She always makes the effort to hide her pain and act energetic. I have faith that she will be back and stronger!”


Anita Yuen had sent her a text message and was replied that she (Nancy) was still recovering and may take 10 days or so. Anita admits that she saw Nancy who was pale and lips were blue, upset and unable to bear to see Nancy like this she urged, “Your kids are grown up now, you shouldn’t work so hard. Even if you do work, shouldn’t push yourself!”

Sharon Chan supports TVB reducing their expenses

Sharon Chan, Ana R. and Lisa S. attended the "Penny Black 2009 Spring Collection Fashion Show" together as models yesterday. Although the financial crisis is affecting the globe, but Sharon's workload has not been affected. Recently she is often doing shows. She frankly said that she's quite satisfied with the pay and was even sponsored clothing from the brand. She also is quite happy with the feel of being a model, Sharon expressed that with the support of the advertisement companies, her pay has not been reduced. Asked when she makes big profits, how will she award herself? She said that this year the real estate prices are low, she plans to purchase a property of her own. Actually she once brought a property before, but because she made profits out of it, she sold it. She then had money to give to her mom. This time she will be able to buy a new home for herself to live in, hope that she could make more money to fulfill this dream. TVB is also planning to reduce expenses and work on new resourses, towards this Sharon agrees with it.

Speaking of TVB employees getting laid off once again, including the hosts from "Scoop", Sharon said that she hopes that TVB is arranging him to do other work instead, she not sure. Of course she hopes that everyone has jobs, but this is TVB's decision, she has no right to give opinions. The only thing that could be done is to do well on her own part, can't worry too much.
