Raymond Lam, Yoyo Mung, Sharon Chan, & Bernice Liu Welcome a Beautiful New Yearappy New Year! Entering 2007, the Sun Newspaper invited Raymond Lam, Bernice Liu, Yoyo Mung, and Sharon Chan to welcome the new year and bid farewell to the past.
Raymond, Bernice, Yoyo, and Sharon are all under the same manager. However they have never collaborated together. When the 3 actresses gathered together, they talked non-stop about beauty and many topics. Raymond was unable to jut in the conversation. No wonder he laughed, "Originally I thought the gathering would be similiar to 'One King and 3 Queens,' with 3 women taking care of me! However, the 3 of them together creates too much noise, similiar to an outdoor grocery market!"
Yoyo, Bernice, and Sharon were indignant and immediately defended themselves, outnumbering Raymond's protest!
Despite the group's banter, Raymond, Yoyo, Bernice, and Sharon are all good friends. As to bidding farewell to the past and welcoming the new year, Raymond laughed and said the 3 women should change their bossy attitudes first. Yoyo, Bernice, and Sharon protested at the same time.
Raymond backed down and spoke about his new year resolution first. "I would like to change my lateness habit. Many friends have complained that they have to wait for me when we go out. But I am in the process of changing this lateness habit; hope everyone remains patient!"
Seeing Raymond's honesty, Sharon said, "My enunciation has not been very clear in the past. Many people thought I have a lazy tongue, but I can't control it! I am trying to change my speech; I promise this problem will not continue in 2007!"
The westernized Bernice said, "My Chinese has improved over the last 5 years. Aside from my father, my friends have helped me a lot in improving my Chinese skills. I have no problems conversing, but it is still difficult for me to read in Chinese. I hope to learn more reading skills in my free time. Since I am Chinese, I really should be able to read in the language."
As Yoyo has been successful in both her career and romantic life, there is not much she needs to change. As for her romantic perspective, Yoyo believes that everyone will experience good and bad times, happy and sad moments. However they need to face these issues with a positive attitude.
Recently, many women have been envious of Cathy Tsui Tsi Kei marrying a wealthy husband. Yoyo maintains a casual attitude over marriage matters and will let nature run its course.
"In love matters, no one sets out to be intentionally hurtful. In the past, I did not hold confidence in others, worrying that they will not treat me well."
"As I matured, I learned how to protect myself. However, even if I get married one day, I would like to keep it low-profile. For now, marriage is not on my mind!"
