- ralphed = puked (ralph = puke)
- hammered = got drunk really bad
- joint = a hang-out place
- toque = yup, it's a "beanie" in canada (see first post)

shotgun- like... bags something..or...say its theirs first

rap music along with urban culture is slowly destroying the english language. they are creating, mispelling, and also misprouncing words. eg. dawg, phat, thurrr.
it takes many years of exposure to rap "music", movies like you got served, and a handful of "gangsta" friends to really learn this new language i call, english yo™!
for those who aren't "with it", i present to you

lol, poutine is delicious!! quebec invented it!! the history of it is soo not interesting like i thought it would be but whatever, back to the topic.
I really don't know where the whole 'eh?' thing start but i do use 'Eh?' not after every sentence(that'll be annoying) but i do use it like " you have it eh?" or something like that. I don't know any Canadien slang but how about ghetto slang??
Booked: another word for it would be "you got caught!" k, maybe words.
Ex. "yeah, the guy got booked smoking."
Gas: feeling "big"(?).
Ex. "ahh, look at her, all gas cause she got higher marks than us!! Get out!"

I'm from New Zealand so here are some of the slang terms that we use here...
No sh*t?: "Really?"
No sh*t!: "Duh!"
Aye?: "Really?" - or just used at the end of a sentence habitually... somewhat like how the Cantonese say "la", i.e. "Sorry la".
Shut up!: a variant of "Oh my God!" (I think this more of an American term)
"Tight" - i.e. "We're real tight with each other," meaning: "close" to someone or a group of people.
"Mint" - cool, great, awesome, fanatastic
"Phat" - same as above
"Mate" - friend
B*tch/P*ssy: Coward (usually used toward the male gender)
"Chunder" - vomit
"Wasted", "baked", "fried", "munted" - stoned
"Get your nose out of joint" - be offended by something
"Slapper", "skank", "toey" - slut/whore
Uhhmmmm can't think of anymore at the moment xD I will update as soon as more come to me!

For example,

2. yeng - cool
3. chun/chunted - something amazing
4. banana - a Chinese person who can't speak Chinese
And for some reason, I know some Singaporean slang words as well so I'll just add onto clesias's list.
1. dao - to ignore
2. zhng - to make something cooler/nicer

And Dao Fu, ahaha, I think 'hen sian' is purely Mandarin but the word 'sian' is used by everyone. And yeah, we mix everything together.
Also, really? Those type of Aussies are labelled as 'bogans'? I thought all Australian people spoke that way!

A Banana refers to a person of Chinese descent who cannot speak Chinese because of his upbringing in a Caucasian - or non-Chinese speaking environment.
You can also use Banana to refer to a Chinese person who surrounds himself with Causcasian friends, and although may be able to speak Chinese - prefers English any day.
It's in reference to the appearance of a Banana - Yellow on the outside (Asian skin colour) and white on the inside (again a reference to skin colour).
The opposite to this is Half Boiled Egg - White on the outside, yellow on the inside.
Azure!
Dec 27 2008 12 39 PM
^Hahaha, yeah I knew about the whole yellow on the outside by white on the inside thing. I believe there's another term, Oreo, for African Americans who act all white-washed or something. 'Cause Oreos are black on the outside and white on the inside.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
More M'sian slang:
kao - to woo, to chase(eg: I heard John wants to kao Jane.)
ajak - invite
cincai - simply, half-heartedly (eg: Just cincai do.)
