~~~~> Usually, I already watch them. But yes, if it's an old serie that I haven't seen or a small production, and if they think it's really good, I would give it a tray.

I definately recommend Point2E entertainment's TVB series reviews first and farmost, specifically those done by Funn Lim and Seagull. Their reviews are very thorough and entertaining to read. I don't necessarily agree with them on their reviews and thoughts, but their reviews often impresses me because of the knowledge they possess, and using them to write these reviews. They can writes pages and pages about one serie...and it's just amazing the thoughts and time they gave. I don't think a lot of people know about their site, and it's not a flashy pretty site....but I think it's a very precious asian entertainment fan website around. check it out when you have time....TVB reviews are under Navagation Site menu.

Spcnet often pops up with very "to the point reviews"...brief summary, plot, cast, ratings. You read them just to get a feel of what the serie might be, but it's not really long and detailed.

I think TVBSquare has quite a few good reviews done by the webmistress herself. If you are an everyday TVB fan, I think you'll probably like her reviews, since I think her reviews are based on what she thinks are most interesting...which is probably what other TVB fans think also.

and also some reviews written by MetalAznWarrior...usually he makes these websites on just the serie itself...and then he writes a reviews about them, and as well give them the full center attention...downloads, wallpapers, synopsis, cast, etc. I wish there are more fans like him lol.

i usually read it after i finish the series. but for those i havent watch yet i read the reviews to see if its good or not!

i like the cast infos. and characters and i need to know whether the ending is happy or sad.. like spoilers..

i usually read reviews from spcnet.. its a great site to read reviews..

i love reading reviews as it helps me decide whether or not it will be worth my time watching. If a majority of the people said it is a good serie, then I will watch. Also reading the storyline tell me if it will be interesting. I always read them first before watching. I like to read the spoilers if the serie is so good and i cannot wait I usually go to scpnet, asianfanatics, and googling.

after i watch the series. i don't like to be spoiled in general. but if i know for sure i won't watch the series because it's too outdated (impossible to find), then i'll read it to see what it was about.

for the writer's opinion mostly. but for certain reviews where extra info is added, those are very captivating as well.

like you have mentioned, point2e.com, spcnet.tv though for spcnet.tv i only enjoy reading selected writers'
special mention to sehseh, i like her method of selecting certain quotes from the characters in the series to describe the character. the method adds a layer of familiarity to the reader about the character.
for movies, lovehkfilm.com is a great review site.

btw, jadedreams27, you always manage to come up with interesting topic ideas..

i actually do read some of them. sometime it just to refresh my memory, other to know the ending when i didn't get to finish the series. thought sometimes the review can't be relie on. some of the older review are different from the series.
