the tekken movie is interestin... da characters matchin is very good... vicki n takeshi has a good match dat fairly looks alike as shown in da animated pics... I think dis movie will b very good becuz da characters seems to match very well.. n it will get others' attentions to watchin da movie...

Wow hahaha a tekken movie, i thought they did one before, renamed and had lee hom wang as the lead role. I guess it was something else then hahah. I'll watch it just to see whats up because i like the game tekken. Well it is a good idea in casting Takeshi as the main role he look kinda like jin in a way..

No it's an arcade game. Think if they do this, wonder if there are going to be sequels cause isn't there like alot of sequels to the game? Event he picture this news article used as the arcade game name Tekken 5, how many sequels to the game are there? Got to say though I've played this game a long time ago and I always thought the graphic were awesome and extremely realistic. The graphics for the surrounding and arena for each fighting scene were extremely good. Think this game has it's own unique 3D graphics.

By the way this is going to be an American Movie right? Heard about the Tekken movie during my college fair at my high school when American Academy of Art said that the person who created Tekken graduated from their school and long time ago and was going to get alot of money since people are going to make a movie out of it and he's going to get a share of the money for each ticket bought for the movie. Thought everyone knew about it already, guess not. I would so go to the movies and watch this if it's an American movie cause I live in the US. Can't wait to watch already, it's amazing how they could find very famous Japanese and Taiwan actor/actress who look so much like the characters. Think they wanted to look for people who looked like the characters from the start. Didn't think they would do that since they didn't do that for Initial D movie, then again the Initial D movie was an HK production instead. Would be so cool if they could find even more famous actors/actresses or even singers for the role. Too bad Leo Ku isn't in it, he has the look of an anime character but is probably too skinny.

Takeshi is going to make a MIGHTY Hot Jin, except I think he needs to buff up a bit, I'm going to look forward to this!! It sound sso good already!!

This movie has nothing to do with that horrible Wong Jing rip-off. For one thing this movie is an official Hollywood production and hopefully it'll live up to the joy of the fighting games.

If thats the confirmed cast then lets hope they can produce a good action movie unlike Street fighter which didn't have the spark.

I don't think there will be any final language, considering that Vicki can't speak english very well...I remember ZZY when she was filming 'Rush Hour', she was speaking mandarin mainly while the others were speaking english...so Vicki probably would be speaking mandarin while the others speak english...unless Vicki recieves some english-speaking lessions for the movie

Seems like they replaced Jet Li with Takeshi...it's a good thing they did though, because Takeshi in my opinion fits the role of Jin more than Jet I really can't picture Jet as Jin! '

OMG..!!! this is sooooo COOOOOOLLLLL..!!!!!!! i think the casting is quite good....Takeshi look quite like Jin and i think Fann Wong will be suitable in tat role....now it all depends on the computer effect....if it si good than this movie will be AWESOME..!!! Cant wait to watch it MAN..!!!

Must say the choice of cast is very good. I hope they don't muck up the movie with bad storyline though. The anime movie certainly wasn't that great.

Look what happened to Street Fighter the movie...aiii...it pretty much destroyed the name of Street Fighter, and it came on TV just the other day to haunt me I just don't want another repeat of what happened to that, it would be a shame if it did.

The first Tekken movie was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Hopefully the sequel would be much better, it does seem to be promising tho judging by the cast.

If this is a hollywood movie (which I'm 97% sure it might is), then of course it will be released in the US

why make assumptions so early? how would you know that this will not be a good movie? as far as we know, the only information that's been revealed is the casts, how can you predict what the movie will be like just based on the casts? we don't know what the storyline is...i'm sure it's not just people fighting each other, there should be other aspects included in the storyline.

Wow, didn't know that Vicki Zhao was gonna be in the new Tekken movie. Makes me want to see it even more!!! I always loved playing Tekken on PS2, and having Vicki in the movie is a plus!
